O God, You are the unsearchable abyss of peace, the ineffable sea of love, the fountain of blessings, and the bestower of affection. You send peace to those who receive it. God, open to us this day the sea of Your love, and water us with the plenteous streams from the riches of Your grace. Make us children of quietness, and heirs of peace. Enkindle in us the fire of Your love. Sow us in Your fear. Strengthen our weakness by Your power. Bind us closely to You and to each other in one firm bond of unity. For the sake of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer for the Pope’s Healing
Heavenly Father,
You are the Divine Healer, the One who restores and renews all things. Today, we lift up our Holy Father, Pope Francis, who is suffering from illness. Lord, in Your mercy, place Your healing hands upon him. Strengthen his body as he battles this sickness, ease his suffering, and restore him to full health.
Breathe Your life-giving Spirit into his lungs, clearing them of all infection, and grant wisdom to the doctors and caregivers who attend to him. May his recovery be swift, and may he continue to lead Your Church with renewed strength and faith.
In his time of weakness, be his refuge. Surround him with Your peace, comfort his heart, and remind him that he is held in the prayers of the faithful worldwide. We entrust him to the loving care of Our Blessed Mother, asking for her intercession, that she may cover him with her mantle of protection.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect will, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
Amen.

well wow. my brother went to this massive Episcopal church way across town this morning and then he invited my mom and i to service this evening. i wanted to go just to look at the architecture but i am so grateful i got way more out of it than just the beautiful stained glass windows, high ceilings and gorgeous organ and choir music. the service was about Trinity Sunday and celebrated the Holy Trinity all throughout worship. i have never been to such a liturgical high church service before. super traditional and liturgical services can be a bit too wooden and mundane (though i appreciate the sentiment behind the acts), but i do like the organization and order of everything because it's easier for everyone to participate together. i very much appreciated the kneeling during prayer times. i think kneeling is such an underappreciated act of reverence toward God during fellowship. i also loved watching the alter procession and the altar women/men setting things up at the beginning of service. i believe on the last song the choir was singing a song and walked off stage and around to the other side of the stage and stood there until it was over - that was interesting. i was really starting to become moved by the Holy Spirit during worship and prayer time on and off.
well one of the women i don't know what her title was because i don't have my worship guide and i'm not Episcopal so it may have been a deacon? she read Romans 5:1-5 to us and that made me emotional and a little bit annoyed as she read "and not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character and character produces hope...". now the reason i got annoyed is because i forgot i was sorta supposed to find joy in my trials and i haven't been able to do that recently as they've overtaken me. it was the type of annoyance where i was like "oh" and it was almost kinda funny. i was thinking how heavy things have been for me lately. she also talked about how when people go through times of suffering they tend to become victims, demand privilege and act entitled. she reminded us how we can't let ourselves become and talked about how Jesus did what He did not only for the people back then but for now too and how we have the Holy Spirit to go with us and be there with us through our tears.
They prayed and got everything ready for Communion/Holy Eucharist and i started to get emotional again because i knew i needed to partake in that. they gave us a little wafer with the Moravian lamb logo on it (look it up because it's very cool but it didn't have the slogan on it). i dipped my wafer in the wine and lowkey that wine was so sweet and good i was like "okayyyyyyy!". but that was pretty much the end of service. i don't remember what happened after that, but they had someone over by the baptismal font if anyone needed prayer and i went because i knew i needed it. i waited in line and was tearing up and one of the ladies from before (i think the reverend?) asked me if she could pray for me and i told her she could. so i told her a little bit of what was going on. i don't remember exactly what she even prayed for me but basically something along the lines of food being a blessing to my body instead of working against me. it was very sweet and i really appreciated that and asked if i could give her a hug. immediately afterwards, i became hungry again. now why that is important is this: my poor relationship with food has been VERY BAD all week and it's the worst it's been for me mentally regarding that and my lack of appetite. i was able to eat lunch today but i got full very fast and felt sick and tired afterwards. but i don't know the simple prayer she did for me was very special to me because i could feel my peace, joy and freedom coming back to me. during service i kept feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit on my forehead like a kiss and Him pressing on my heart with His hand and the same feeling when i got in the car. i just sat quietly in the back seat for a long while and i was in prayer and thanking God for that. i felt like i could just breathe for once in a while and like everything was okay in that moment - like i was being protected. even if it was just for a few moments oh my gosh it was so peaceful and relieving. i know this healing journey is still gonna take so long and have so many ups and downs as it has already proven to be in this last month, but i know i am not stuck unhealed forever. i think i got my hope back again. HIs love, comfort and care is so precious and i love the way He uses us to display those things 🥹❤️🩹
#never thought i'd have such a profound experience in an Episcopal church bc they're usually pro-unbiblical things#i don't know if that church is but regardless God was moving in that church and i am a living testimony of it.#that was truly a blessing. i needed that so much and i didn't even know. i feel refreshed.#christianity#jesus christ#freedom in christ#christian#christian blog#church#prayer#bear one anothers burdens#these last 3 Sundays He has really shown up and showed out for me 🥹❤️🩹#i have had so much despair fear and sorrow etc.#i have been so unfaithful yet He has heard the cries/tears i couldn't even produce and He delivered me from just a sliver of my pain#i confessed something to God regarding unforgiveness and idk i just felt like it was appropriate tonight#so i hope He will use that.#feastingonchrist#episcopal church#church fellowship#church unity#testimony#christian testimony#romans 8:28#romans 5:1-5#disordered eating#digestive issues#health trauma#food trauma#arfid#i may have arfid not trying to self dx just suspcious bc yeah..

A Prayer for Reconciliation and Unity
Heavenly Father,
You are the God of truth, mercy, and reconciliation. You have called us not only to worship You in spirit and truth but to live at peace with one another in the body of Christ. Lord, You said in Matthew 5:23–24 that if we come to Your altar and remember that our brother or sister has something against us, we must first go and be reconciled—then come and offer our gift.
So, Father, we come before You today with humble hearts, asking You to reveal any offense we’ve caused—whether knowingly or unknowingly. Help us not to ignore these matters or hide them under false peace. Stir within us the courage to face difficult conversations, not to accuse, but to heal; not to condemn, but to restore.
Lord Jesus, we remember the story of David and Nathan. When David had sinned blinded by his own actions and unaware of how deeply he had grieved You Father God You sent Nathan the prophet.
Nathan did not come to destroy but to lovingly confront, to open David’s eyes so that repentance could take root and restoration could follow. Help us be like Nathan when we need to speak truth, and like David when we need to hear it—humble, broken, and ready to repent.
You have shown us in Matthew 18:15 that if our brother or sister sins against us, we are to go to them privately, not to shame them, but to win them back—to protect the unity and purity of Your Church. Help us obey this instruction. Help us not to gossip or seek validation from others, but to pursue reconciliation face to face, heart to heart.
We confess, Lord, that we often let pride or fear keep us from apologizing, or we justify our silence instead of seeking peace. We allow bitterness to grow instead of rooting it out with grace and forgiveness. Cleanse us from this, Father. We desire a church that is whole and united, a reflection of the spotless Bride You are coming back for.
Help us forgive those who’ve hurt us, even if they never say sorry. Help us love like You do—keeping no record of wrongs, bearing all things, and hoping all things. Give us eyes to see one another not through offense, but through Your grace.
Today, Lord, bring to mind anyone we need to reconcile with. Show us how to humble ourselves, whether with a word, a letter, or a gentle conversation. And if someone comes to us to make things right, may we receive them not with pride or defensiveness, but with open hearts and a desire to restore what was broken.
May Your Spirit lead us in every step toward healing, and may You be glorified in our obedience, our humility, and our love.
In the name of Jesus, who made the ultimate reconciliation between us and the Father,
Amen.

You tried so hard to break me.
And maybe you did, for a little while.
But every day we crawl further and further out of the darkness you created, and this is a huge part of that.
It's two years of withdrawal and cravings and tears. Of fighting, every goddamn day. Of wanting it all to be over.
But it's also been two years of learning to love ourselves, of laughter and falling for someone who brings light into our lives.
We're proud of ourselves.

As the Day Begins
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Sacred Beauty: Why God's Standards Matter More Than the World's
Beauty in Holiness I would like to reflect on your beauty as women of faith (1 Corinthians 11:15). Your hair is your covering. It’s more than just an external facade; it’s a reflection of the glory of God shining through you. Show your beauty in all its forms. Seek holiness in how you present yourself to the world. You don’t need to conform to the world’s standards to be cherished. God honors…

A Loving Prayer for All Fathers
Heavenly Father, we begin by honoring You our Eternal Father.
You are the Alpha and the Omega, the source of all fatherhood. Your love is steadfast, patient, strong, and full of grace. Thank You for adopting us as sons and daughters through Christ. We cry out, “Abba, Father,” and lift our voices in worship to the One who never leaves or forsakes His children.
“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.” – Psalm 103:13
We bless and pray for every biological father.
Thank You for the gift of life they helped bring into the world. May Your Spirit strengthen them to lead with integrity, love their children as You love us, and walk humbly in Your ways. For those who feel they’ve fallen short, we release forgiveness and pray they would receive Your redeeming grace and restoration.
“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.” – Proverbs 20:7
We honor and uplift all father figures—like Joseph, the husband of Mary.
Though not Jesus’ biological father, he obeyed You, protected his family, and stood in the gap. Bless every man who steps into the role of father—mentors, uncles, pastors, stepfathers, grandfathers, and spiritual fathers. May they reflect Your wisdom and character. Let their reward be great in heaven.
We especially pray for men, like Joseph, who find themselves in complicated or blended family situations.
Father, pour out abundant grace and peace. Give them discernment, humility, and strength to love children not biologically theirs with selfless devotion. Remove shame or fear, and let Your perfect love cast out all confusion. Guide them to be steady pillars of truth and stability in homes where brokenness once reigned.
Lord, we pour out love over all fathers today.
Let every man hear You whisper, “Well done.” Heal those burdened by guilt, those mourning lost connections with children, and those grieving estranged or prodigal sons and daughters. Bind up the brokenhearted and restore what has been lost or stolen.
“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.” – Malachi 4:6
In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of confusion, every demon assigned to destroy fatherhood, and every altar built to lies, abandonment, and division.
Let those altars crumble under the power of the blood of Jesus. We declare clarity, truth, and divine order over every home. Let false narratives about fathers be silenced, and may Your truth arise in culture, in homes, and in hearts.
We lift up the banner of unity.
Unify families torn by misunderstanding. Bring healing between fathers and children, husbands and wives. Let forgiveness flow like a river. May households align under Your will and presence. Let fathers be the priests of their homes—bold, gentle, prayerful, and loving.
Encourage the hearts of weary fathers today, O God.
Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they shall reap a harvest. Let them know their role is not forgotten or dismissed in Your Kingdom.
“Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” – 1 Corinthians 15:58
Thank You, Father, that in honoring fathers, we honor You.
We receive Your word in Ephesians 6:2-3: “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” May this promise be fulfilled in our families as we walk in obedience and reverence.
In the mighty, loving, restoring, and matchless name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
