Trump's lawyer just accused Comey of treason, in a letter that refers to "Predisent Trump."

Trump’s lawyer wrote a response to Comey’s testimony. It starts, “I am Marc Kasowitz, Predisent Trump’s personal lawyer.” It ends with, “In sum, it is now established that there the President was not being investigated for colluding with the or attempting to obstruct that investigation.”

I copy-pasted those sentences directly from the response letter.

Has anyone in this administration heard of spellcheck? Or at least reading things over before you send them off?

The whole thing is worth reading, if only to play “spot the blatant grammatical error.”

Trump calls Comey memo leaks ‘cowardly!’

President Trump suggested Sunday that former FBI Director James Comey’s leak of memos detailing their conversations may be illegal — and are far more damning than the what were in them.

“I believe the James Comey leaks will be far more prevalent than anyone ever thought possible,” Trump tweeted. “Totally illegal? Very ‘cowardly!'”

In calling Comey’s leak “cowardly,” the president appears to be echoing Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, who said the same on Fox News Friday.

“I thought it shows a lot of cowardice,” Dershowitz said. “He should have had the courage to get on television and release the memos and talk about it or not talk about it. But to have some friend become his surrogate was absurd.”

On Thursday, Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee that as FBI director he drafted — and shared with his senior staff — memos about his interactions with Trump that left him uneasy. According to Comey, Trump asked him to “go easy” in his investigation of ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, an unprecedented request from a president to the head of the FBI. After he was fired, Comey said a threatening Trump tweet that hinted there were secret tapes of their conversations prompted him to ask a friend, Daniel Richman, to share the content of the memos with the New York Times.

During his testimony, Comey also used the word “cowardly” word to describe his own approach to not telling Trump he wouldn’t drop Flynn probe.

“Well, it was kind of a slightly cowardly way of trying to avoid telling him, we’re not going to do that — that I would see what we could do,” Comey told the committee. “It was a way of kind of getting off the phone [with Trump], frankly.”

Trump took to Twitter early Friday to declare victory, denouncing the FBI director he fired as a liar and a “leaker” based on Comey’s damaging testimony about their interactions. But he also claimed “vindication” on the basis of the same testimony.

“Despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication … and WOW, Comey is a leaker!” Trump tweeted.

Benjamin Wittes, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and friend and confidant of Comey’s, told Yahoo News on Friday afternoon that any suggestion the former FBI director broke the law by leaking a personal memo to the press was “laughter.”

“First of all, Comey was very clear that the memo that he wrote was intentionally written in unclassified form so that it would not be bound up in classification rules,” Wittes said. “So if the claim is that he’s admitted to leaking classified information, that’s simply factually false.”

Sunday’s attack on Comey was third in a series of tweets criticizing the media for focusing on the various scandals of his young presidency — and not on the “great economic news since Election Day.”

Whoops: Trump’s lawyer defends ‘predisent’ after Comey testimony

President Trump’s personal attorney may have been too hasty in drafting up his response to fired FBI Director James Comey’s whirlwind testimony Thursday.

The statement began with the following line: “I am Marc Kasowitz, Predisent [sic] Trump’s personal lawyer.” It later referred to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats as “Coates.”

He also wrote, “this leaks should be investigated.”

Earlier Thursday, Comey told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that Trump had asked him to drop the bureau’s investigation into his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and asked for his loyalty.

Jimmy Fallon is still haunted by the September 15, 2016 episode of The Tonight Show.

We all know the one -- where the late night host tussled Donald Trump's hair during his campaign appearance in the weeks before the election. As you may remember, the Saturday Night Live alum got a ton of backlash for normalizing the now-POTUS.

In a recent episode of The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast, the 43-year-old comedian expressed his regret for handling the episode that way. Hindsight is 20/20.

Jimmy said emotionally:

"I did not do it to 'normalize' him or to say I believe in his political beliefs or any of that stuff. [The criticism] just got bigger and out of control. I saw other comedians from other shows making fun of me on Twitter and I go, 'OK, now I'm just gonna get off.' They know the show. I'm just doing five hours a week. I get in at 10 in the morning, I work 'til seven at night and I'm just trying to make a funny show. You know the grind and you know me. Of all the people in the world, I'm one of the good people. I mean, really. You don't even know what you're talking about if you say that I'm evil or whatever. Some people don't even want to hear anything else. They're like, 'No, you did that!' You go, 'Well, just calm down. Just look at the whole thing and just actually see my body of work.'"

He went on to describe the extent of his despair over the whole ordeal:

"It was definitely a down time. And it's tough for morale. There's 300 people that work here, and so when people are talking that bad about you and ganging up on you, in a really gang-mentality...you go, 'All right, we get it. I heard you. You made me feel bad. So now what? Are you happy? I'm depressed. Do you want to push me more? What do you want me to do? You want me to kill myself? What would make you happy?' Get over it. I don't want to make anyone angry; I never do and I never will. It's all in the fun of the show. I made a mistake. I'm sorry if I made anyone mad. And, looking back, I would do it differently."

Some mistakes stick around longer than others. Clearly, Jimmy has felt the consequences of stooping down to Trump's antics.

Of course, Predisent Cheeto caught wind of the interview and immediately took to Twitter to respond, as he does.
