You know what would’ve fixed fourth wing? Violet should’ve been the daughter of a scribe and a professor at the war college, not the general. Let’s make the society heavily caste based on except for the army, so if Violet wants to be anything but a scribe she needs to be a dragon rider. But no one will train her so she trains herself by sitting in secretly on classes (volunteering as an assistant and errand runner) and slowly getting the dragons used to her and building bonds with them. So she sneaks into the threshing or whatever and doesn’t get killed but does manage to bond with a dragon! And no one can do dick about it because once you’re bonded, you’re bonded.
Also zade should’ve been a girl and they should be in lesbians together.

Signs You Should Contact a Premises Liability Lawyer Immediately
Accidents happen—but when they occur on someone else’s property due to unsafe conditions, you may be entitled to compensation. Property owners have a legal responsibility to maintain safe environments for visitors. If they fail to do so, and you’re injured as a result, a premises liability lawyer can help you understand and pursue your legal rights.
Recognizing when to call a lawyer is critical. Delaying action can weaken your case or even cost you your right to file. Here are key signs you should contact a premises liability lawyer immediately.
1. You’ve Been Injured on Someone Else’s Property
Whether you slipped on a wet floor at a store, tripped over a broken sidewalk, or were hurt by falling debris, any injury caused by dangerous property conditions warrants legal attention. Even seemingly minor injuries can worsen over time. A premises liability lawyer will evaluate your case and determine if you have grounds for compensation.
2. The Property Owner or Manager Was Negligent
If the property owner failed to fix a known hazard or didn’t warn visitors of potential dangers, they may be held liable. Proving negligence is key to a successful premises liability claim. A skilled premises liability lawyer will investigate the scene, gather evidence, and work to establish the property owner's failure to act responsibly.
3. You’re Facing Medical Bills and Lost Wages
Injuries from unsafe premises can lead to costly medical treatments and time off work. If you’re overwhelmed by expenses or have lost income due to the accident, don’t wait—talk to a premises liability lawyer. They will help you pursue compensation for both current and future financial losses tied to the injury.
4. You’re Being Pressured by Insurance Companies
Insurance companies often reach out quickly with low settlement offers, hoping you’ll accept before realizing the true value of your claim. Don’t sign anything before speaking to a premises liability lawyer. At S.E. Farris Law Firm, we deal with insurers directly to protect your interests and secure fair compensation.
5. The Incident Involves a Commercial or Public Space
Injuries that happen in stores, restaurants, parking lots, or government buildings often involve complex liability issues. Multiple parties may be responsible, including contractors or maintenance crews. A premises liability lawyer can untangle these complexities and identify the responsible parties.
6. Evidence May Disappear Quickly
Hazards like ice, water spills, or poor lighting can be cleaned up or repaired soon after an incident—leaving little proof behind. That’s why it’s crucial to contact a premises liability lawyer immediately. They can help preserve vital evidence, gather witness statements, and document conditions before they change.
Contact S.E. Farris Law Firm Today

How to Prove Liability in a Slip and Fall Case
Tumblr media
Slip and fall accidents happen unexpectedly but can lead to severe injuries, high medical bills, and lost wages. Whether you slipped on a wet floor in a grocery store or tripped on a broken sidewalk, you may be entitled to compensation. However, proving liability in a slip and fall case can be complex and requires clear evidence, strong legal strategy, and the support of an experienced attorney.
If you’re seeking justice for your injuries, understanding how liability works is critical. As a leading Atlanta Slip and Fall Accident Lawyer, 404 Hurt Law breaks down what it takes to prove fault and recover compensation.
What Is Liability in a Slip and Fall Case?
Liability refers to the legal responsibility of a person or entity for causing harm. In slip and fall cases, the injured party (plaintiff) must prove that the property owner, manager, or responsible party acted negligently and that negligence directly caused the accident.
Elements Required to Prove Liability
To hold a property owner legally responsible, your Slip and Fall Accident Attorney in Atlanta must demonstrate four key elements:
1. Duty of Care
Property owners in Georgia have a legal obligation, or duty of care, to maintain reasonably safe premises for guests, tenants, and customers. This includes:
Keeping floors clean and dry
Fixing broken railings or steps
Clearing debris from walkways
Providing adequate lighting
If you’re lawfully on someone else’s property, they owe you a duty of care. Proving this relationship is the first step in establishing liability.
2. Breach of Duty
After confirming that a duty of care existed, you must prove that the owner breached that duty. This means they either failed to fix a known hazard or didn’t reasonably inspect and maintain the property. Common breaches include:
Ignoring spills or leaks
Leaving cords across walkways
Not marking wet floors with warning signs
Allowing damaged flooring or uneven surfaces to go unrepaired
An experienced Slip and Fall Accident Attorney near me can gather evidence to demonstrate that the owner neglected their responsibilities.
3. Causation
You must also prove causation — that the property owner’s negligence directly caused your injury. In legal terms, this is known as a “proximate cause.” For example:
If you slipped on a wet supermarket floor with no warning signs, that hazard likely caused your fall.
If you tripped on an unmarked broken step in poor lighting, that unsafe condition would be the proximate cause.
Medical records, surveillance footage, witness statements, and expert testimony are all used to prove this link.
4. Damages
Lastly, you need to show that the fall resulted in actual damages such as:
Physical injuries (fractures, sprains, head trauma)
Lost income
Medical expenses
Pain and suffering
Emotional distress
Tumblr media
The Role of Comparative Negligence in Georgia
Georgia follows a modified comparative negligence rule, which can affect your ability to recover damages. If you are found partially responsible for your accident (for example, if you were looking at your phone while walking), your compensation could be reduced.
However, you can still recover damages as long as you are less than 50% at fault. A skilled Slip and Fall Accident Attorney Atlanta can help minimize your liability and build a strong argument for maximum recovery.
Evidence That Helps Prove Liability
The success of your slip and fall claim hinges on the evidence. Some of the most powerful pieces include:
Photographs of the scene and hazard
Surveillance video from nearby cameras
Witness statements from people who saw the accident
Incident reports if the fall occurred in a business
Medical records linking injuries to the accident
Expert testimony from accident reconstruction specialists
