The theorising has gotten to me. I don't want to hype up part 2 of the DLC TOO hard for myself, but... What if this toxic chain didn't just get a hold of Kieran but his Pokémon too...

Honestly though, Roxanne was so comfortable to work with. I'm trying a healthy blend of her R/S/E design and her OR/AS design. All I needed to do was give her a fluffy black skirt and learn how her hair works ahaha- thank you Pokémon Masters-

Also, I'm going with a Probopass instead of Nosepass-- running with the narrative that Gym Leaders are the eight strongest individuals in the region- at least behind the E4 and Champion. Roxanne herself might not battle against a competitive team that's only after their first badge~

Name: Mini-Nose

Debut: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Well, what do you magnetic know? This is a magnetic nose. No, I'm not posting about a Pokemon! I'm posting about a part of a Pokemon. A part that I think is quite underappreciated, and I would know, because I myself did not appreciate it enough for the longest time!

Mini-Noses manifest when Nosepass evolves into Probopass, the funny magnetic mustache Moai. Since Probopass is based on a compass, the big nose represents the north point, and the Mini-Noses are east, south, and west!

Since the dawn of time, there have been Pokemon consisting of multiple bodies/entities, but these are almost always groups of a bunch of the same thing together. Not here, though! Mini-Noses are not any existing creature, and are instead teeny simplifications of Nosepass/Probopass. It's like if Dugtrio was surrounded by a bunch of Diglett fetuses!

Sadly, a Pokemon's lore can be as cool as possible, but it doesn't always translate well into the games. Probopass DOES have a cool attacking animation where it spins the Mini-Noses around rapidly! But it overall, the Mini-Noses come across more as some weird floaty hands, when they are in fact individual entities that Probopass commands!

It wasn't until I recently rewatched some of Pokemon Generations that I realized... wait. Mini-Nose is awesome! Probopass throws itself around like a Thwomp, as the Mini-Noses hover around like little sentries, shooting lasers at Pikachu! It's so cool! Most entries say that Probopass controls them through magnetism, but it is sometimes implied that they may be able to act on their own volition as well, and that "the main body mostly just gives orders". I guess if anything, they're like an octopus's arms! And then there's the fact that, in the anime, they actually have their own distinct voices. "Nose!" "Nose."

Mini-Nose is such a fascinating and funny little thing! Not quite a Pokemon, but a Pokemon's extremities that are autonomous enough to be their own entities. Like the puppet of a passionate-enough ventriloquist. How do you think Probopass views them? Tools? Hands? Children? Quirky Nephew Trio? Probably not something we would understand, since we are not magnetic monstrosities. But we can still appreciate from afar!

Whatever Mini-Nose is, it is NOT a Pokemon, and we can be sure because the plural is "Mini-Noses", not "Mini-Nose"! Most creatures in this franchise don't get this exclusive treatment!
