A bunch of sketches and drafts that I wanted to finish but wasn’t able to by the end of the year. 1, 2 and 3 are from my Fancy Space Party piece from last year. 4 came from the dash talking about giving Dib a ponytail. 5 is from a fic I'm working on where Keef is getting married (to a baddie confusingly out of his league) and makes Zim his best man. 6 is a few more sketches of my beloved Irken OC; Kio, who works in invader support services. 7 is a followup to that Alien Bath piece I did in July. and 8 is from the 'Dipper has a crush on an older Dib who visits the shack on paranormal business' text post that I want to go back to.

I just want to make clear that the emotional and mental toll of what the bullies in this fandom are putting JT through is also hurting the rest of the band, and likely even more people behind the scenes.

I encourage anyone who spent energy bullying JT to instead use that energy to show up to the 50501 protests working to get the rapist in charge of the most powerful country out of power.

When you struggle with moral OCD and/or have lower emotional intelligence, you need to manage it by learning to place your energy in the right places. Interfering with allegations that haven’t even had the chance to go to court is not the right place.

I had a question, but if you don’t want to answer it I understand.

What happened to James’ remains after he passed? Are they with his family, or in a plot somewhere? Does Gary ever go visit him?

James had very specific wishes re: his death (right down the point of choosing his death re: voluntary assisted dying). So I suspect he chose cremation, and for his remains to be scattered over either probably the sea or from a mountain.

I'm sure there's also a memorial for him, possibly in Bunbury or Perth (more likely Bunbury, since his bandmates wouldn't have wanted to be assailed by the press and fans during any service/s.) And James I think is the kind of person to choose a bushland-style memorial marker. Or something as natural as possible.

I doubt Gary was actually involved in organising much beyond the actual remains etc. and handed off as much as he could in the aftermath, and I don't think he's been to the memorial site once, nor do I think he ever intends to go. As we see in the story itself, when Gary wants to connect with or remember James, he has other things he does / keeps etc. to remember him by. I don't think he sees the memorial or even funeral service as being for him, specifically, so much as others.

Tbh with the state of the press, I'm not even sure he felt safe enough to go to James' funeral.
