I think the worst thing about Psych2go is they use cutesy art and references so that when people post about them they only post about the references they use and how adorable the art is and how they use characters from popular media, and that often drowns out the people who call out the ableism. I was scrolling through the Psych2go tag trying to find a post I forgot to reblog and half of it was pointing out the mcyt references and stuff.

Something about the gifts felt so... hollow. It was like they were just buying because they thought I would like it instead of listening to me and asking me what I wanted.

Pyrrha: Oh, they tried... It just... didn't taste very good.

Jaune: (Chuckles) Well, that's a bit of a downer.

Pyrrha: (Smiles) Well, I'm glad you're taking such an interest in me. I can't remember the last time anyone asked me questions like this. My interviews were always about my training regimen or my upcoming fights. It could get exhausting talking about something that wasn't about myself. (Sighs) But I guess that makes me selfish, huh?

Jaune: No way! I mean, yeah, you're thinking about yourself, but that's only because nobody else was thinking about you! And if that makes you a bad person, then I'm probably the worst person who ever lived!

Jaune: Some hero I turned out to be. Pyrrha died because of me, Weiss almost died because of me, Penny-

Ruby: None of that was your fault, Jaune. It's just... how messed up the world is right now. And if you want to blame anyone, you should blame Cinder since she was there for all of it.

In the Ever After, I was going through the exact same thing, and I ended up making a stupid decision because of it. It's only because I got lucky that I was able to come back from it... and because I had some amazing friends waiting for me to come back. Friends like you.

Ruby: You are my best friend, and I can't imagine a world where you weren't at Beacon with me. Where you traveled to Haven with me. Where you escaped Atlas with me. The world is looking to us to be the heroes it needs, and there's nobody else I'd have at my side than my fellow leader, Jaune Arc.

Also about npd: I used to watch psych2go and some of their videos about narcissists and one thing that makes p2g extra vile is that they acknowledge that pwNPD are suffering. They acknowledge that narcissists actually have struggles with their self esteem and rely on outside validation sometimes because they don't have a secure sense of self and can't feel like they're enough without being praised by outsiders. And yet they still vilify narcissists!! How can you acknowledge that narcissists do have a real disorder that causes distress to them but still treat them like they're just evil scary abusers?

So...psych2go is getting bolder in their upfront of ableism and religious motivation and lack of credible sources.

"Ego vs Soul - Which Controls Your Life?"

They talk how lacking empathy (like in aspd, a neurodivergence that many researchers want to recategorize as a neurodevelopmental disorder) means you have no soul. That anger can never be a motivation for good and is inherently a bad thing.

And of course promote the heavily proven wrong maslow's hierarchy...maslow. The guy that was anti vaccine cause he believed vaccines saved people, but mostly saved "genetically inferiors and cripples" allowing them to reproduce. Yeah, he was anti vaccine cause he was a eugenicists that wanted to kill people by lacking vaccines.

And quoted judith orloff, who believes she has "second sight" and uses "energy psychiatry" (completely unbacked by research psuedoscience) and claiming to be a psychic

Then using Marianne Williamson who has no psychology knowledge. Known for being a "spiritual advisor" for oprah and prefers to be called a "mystic" but has claimed specific religious beliefs are actually "spiritual psychotherapy" while again having no psychology knowledge and believing there is no such difference between temporary sadness, and depression.

Then using Carol Dweck...who is notorious for research teams lead by her that are difficult to replicate any results and real world applications show no better then changing nothing

And lastly mark epstein, who uses the long showing wrong freud with buddhist trachings is the best approach to trauma that all should follow...
