Hello, this might be a long shot but it’s always worth a try.
After playing Pentiment I fell in love with the purple ink script from the Thread-Puller. Is there any way to get a hold of the lettering, I’d like to get that style of text as tattoos but I can’t seem to find anything that resembles it directly anywhere.
If you answer, thank you, and also thank you for being involved in several games I love, as well as being an intelligent & considerate person socially and politically :)
Thank you! All of the fonts can be downloaded with the Pentiment Fan Kit on the official website. Scroll down to DOWNLOAD FANKIT.

04/07/2024: Flap Differential
Annoyingly one day Amy came home… and I’d noticed the rear near side mud flap was missing, wtf!? This was a long time ago and it was in fact it a new mud flap that appeared to be stolen! Now I’m not one to throw accusations around but it seemed odd to me and they (bolts) were loctited in.
So cut a long boring story short, I had a spare used flap in the box of spares, ordered stainless steel brackets and fasteners. The brackets went for powder coating and eventually (today) I fitted it all.
Top tip: Scour pad and some washing up liquid with warm water is the recipe for getting the weathered mud flap back into something presentable, plus with the addition of a plastic enhancer - not bad aye!?, just a shame it makes the rear cross member look like turd.
Now onto the D110, a leak on a truck is like it shedding a tear of disrepair… I mean if I was leaking fluid I’d likely be pretty upset as well. So, we focus our or my attention to the rear differential input seal, which has had a moist casing for a while.
How to….
1. Mark the propshaft position on the drive flange for correct refitting.
2. Remove the propshaft bolts using a spanner/socket, then secure the propshaft out of the way.
3. Use a socket and breaker bar to remove the pinion nut.
4. Slide off the drive flange – a light tap with a rubber mallet may help.
5. Remove the Old Differential Seal, by carefully prying out the old seal using a seal puller or flathead screwdriver.
6. Clean the seal mating surface to remove any debris or old sealant, inspect and grease bearing if necessary.
7. Install the New OEM Differential Seal, by lightly coating the outer edge of the new seal with gear oil for ease of installation.
8. Carefully press or tap it into place using a rubber mallet or a seal driver, ensuring it sits flush and even.
9. Reinstall the drive flange onto the pinion shaft.
10. Apply thread-locking compound to the pinion nut threads and tighten it securely (refer to manufacturer torque specs).
11. Reattach the propshaft, aligning it with the marks made earlier.
12. Check the seal area for any gaps or damage.
13. Refill the differential with fresh oil if it was drained.
14. Test drive and inspect for leaks.
Final Notes:
- Using a genuine OEM seal ensures longevity and a proper fit.
- If you don’t have the correct torque values, tighten the pinion nut securely but avoid overtightening.
- Regularly inspect for leaks after installation.

Ey! Ma'am, sorry to bother but I'm building my own abyss hunters and was just wondering if I could have your thoughts on masteries?
Who should I prioritize and which skills would you consider a must? All of them are e2 lvl 80 and at the moment Specter is the only one to have m2, all other are lvl 7.
This all started because of Ulpianus, who I just leveled to 80 and have no clue on how to use his kit.
Hope you are well
Hello! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
You are not bothering me at all, I love answering questions! I am doing well, I hope you are as well! Thank you for your question once again! ♥(✿ฺ´∀`✿ฺ)ノ
As for who you should prioritize, I think it depends on personal preference really! The general and short answer would be Ulpianus and Gladiia as they are pretty strong together. The long one, all of them are worth investing.
If you are gonna use them as your main team, you should really focus on getting their modules as soon as possible. If you are gonna use them as standalone operators, they might not need as much investment but again, that's a personal choice. I know it might be a controversial thing to say but I think getting their modules first than giving them masteries is overall a better idea but it depends on what you can do and how many resources you have! So you do you, anything works really, heh.
As for Ulpianus, he's really easy to use and you don't need to worry, it just depends on what skill you will use but he's mostly going to be a damage dealer as well as one of your tankiest characters that can self sustain himself just fine.
For modules though, I would highly advise you to grab the following:
Gladiia: Definitely her first module as soon as possible. It's absolutely broken and gives your AH more healing and permanent damage reduction against most enemies and damage. I would highly advise you get this before investing in everything else. Her second module is alright, but it's more catered to very niche clears and it can be a thing to invest in later on but it isn't necessary, unless you want lore. Because we all do. We all like to cry.
Ulpianus: His module is really good and I would also advise you to get it as soon as possible. More healing is really good and the more, the better. It might not be the biggest buff but I personally think it's better than nothing.
Specter The Unchained: Both. Both are good and are honestly a huge game changer for her. Get both. First one is more damage oriented while the second is geared towards buffing the AH and giving them faster SP Regen. Both!
Skadi: Same thing with Specter, honestly. Both are amazing, her first module makes her deal more damage to any units she's blocking and makes a pseudo fast redeploy and the second one buffs the AH and also makes her be able to "revive" with 50% of her original HP and go in for a second beating. It's amazing as well but her first one is also fantastic.
Andreana: Absolutely fantastic module that gives you free ATK SPD for some reason. Definitely something to get as well.
Guard Specter: While her module might not seem the most crazy thing ever, that little bit more of damage she can give to the AH is pretty nice and can make a difference. Would get it as well but it wouldn't be my first priority.
As for masteries, Gladiia or Ulpianus could go first but again, this order can be taken in any order you want. ;)
Gladiia: Definitely a very good candidate for M9. I will die on this hill alone if need be but M9 Gladiia is fantastic and a very good investment. Now, here's my preferred order: S2 -> S3 -> S1 (S2 before S3 because I think it has great up and down time and deals really good damage but S3 if you just want more CC! S1 is a must for me as she's the only 6 star puller we have in game and it deals pretty good damage!)
Ulpianus: S2 -> S3, the order doesn't matter as much since both are broken. His S2 is just an AFK that turns him into an immoveable wall with 3 block that deals a lot of damage and S3 is pure damage with an added stun which is amazing for pretty much anything. The range is really good as well and it has a short downtime so it's super fun to use!
Specter The Unchained: S2 -> S3. Damage, damage and more damage! Both are great and I would focus on finishing S2 when you can as it is her main skill that works wonders with her first module but her S3 can do some nasty damage if you get it right and it's AOE damage because, yeah! Shark!
Skadi: S2 -> S3. Her S2 is her bread and butter with her first module. Her S3 is perfect with her second module and is a great skull if you want immoveable wall 2.0.
Skadi and Specter Alter kinda do suffer a bit if you don't get their modules as their performance is good without them but with their respective motives, can do some amazing things. So I would say modules first and then skills second but again, personal opinion. :')
Andreana and Guard Specter: S2 is the go to if you want to get theirs done as well, but Andreana also can benefit from getting masteries for her S1 as her S2 is great but you might not need it all the time.
Again, this is all my personal preference and you are free to do whatever you want! I have them all at M9 and have all their modules and potentials as they are my main team and damage dealers. I hope this helped a bit! Thank you once again for this question, hehe! ಥ⌣ಥ
#asks#also again this is just me I don't want to pick any fights over who's skill is better or which is the best order or anything of the sort#y'all build your fish the way you want because it is the correct way regardless and we don't discriminate here#the fish are 100% worth investing in and are fun to use

unlocking gunbreaker and effortlessly doing big pulls even with terrible healers that spam physick and cure 1 has once again opened my eyes to how incompetent an overwhelming majority of tank players are. the game really needs to do more to incentivize people to actually complete dungeons with wall to wall as a baseline because otherwise the politeness of any other party member trying to not get in the way of one player's role fantasy as "the puller" inconveniences and wastes people's times to the tune of several minutes per instance, specially prior to them homogenizing the shit out of dungeons and making them all pull 1 / wall / pull 2 / boss. some people may be convinced they don't enjoy battle content because the most prevalent type of battle content (dungeons) is extremely dull with a slow tank dictating the pace for the rest of the party. specially for healers.
and once again I'm sure some sycophant is gonna summon an imaginary yoshida to explain that incentivizing players to complete duties faster in-game will put an excessive amount of pressure on people who may be new to tanking, but like, that's kind of the problem. tanks are the role least punished for not utilizing their kit properly and not respecting mechanics, because the actual content, bosses, are balanced around the healthpool of DPS players, the overwhelming majority of mechanics are completely inconsequential to a tank. pulling big ("big" as in more than the minimum possible amount) in dungeons is the only way the game can organically stretch the relationship between the healer and the tank's responsibilities to an extent which could actually require the tank to mitigate and avoid damage properly. yet there's very little diagetic information to support this philosophy, or even the idea that keeping the tank alive isn't solely the healer's responsibility, and the more recent dungeon design goes actively against it by limiting "wall to wall" pulls to two packs maximum, and increasingly with enforced single pulls, such that the concept doesn't even make sense anymore—all pulls are wall to wall. the only pressure the game puts on tanks outside of savage content is artificial in the form of social friction. if you don't live up to an (incredibly) low standard, people may get mad at you (but even so, they're not allowed to criticize you in too much detail because that's against the TOS).
and that's fucked. being chewed on by random players is not an effectual or consistent method of learning something, specially given how little information the game presents about each role's performance. a tank that doesn't press a single mitigation button in earlier content may be easily mistaken for a bad healer. forgoing damage optimization, forgoing knowing your rotation, which is a problem all jobs suffer from with the prevalence of unintuitive tooltips, it's really fucked how little normal content actually teaches you about playing the tank role at a fundamental level, if not outright enable you to be completely carried by the healer and DPS.

i am coming to you seeking automotive advice. toyota wants $1,900 of my hard earned us american dollars to replace my car’s rear wheel bearings…but they sell them on amazon for $40. do you have any knowledge on if it’s something that can be fixed by someone with no mechanical experience besides changing a headlight? i have a jack and a socket wrench. i just need the courage
my first piece of advice is never go to the dealer for auto repairs. they are fucked up and insane extortionists. they always charge the highest prices it's craaaaaazy. try to find a place where only one person speaks english and she seems like probably the mechanics high schooler niece. $1,900 for a wheel bearing replacement is fucking highway robbery
but second of all yeah i think you could probably pull this repair off yourself. the only caveats being you'd need tools, not just the kit, which could be an investment. whether you need more than just the tools you already have depends on the model and how old and fucked up your car is. for instance you might need a bearing puller. and things might go very smoothly, or things might possibly get hairy, and then you'd need a tow to the shop (but don't go to the dealer cause wtf)
tldr definitely get a second opinion on that price, have fun and get the proper tools if u decide to diy.
p.s. what model and year???? please tell me

12 tips and tricks DIY Dent Repair Tips for Houston Residents
DIY Dent Repair Tips for Houston Residents:
Evaluate the Dent: Before attempting any repairs, carefully assess the size, depth, and location of the dent. Small, shallow dents with no paint damage are often more suitable for DIY repairs.
Use Hot Water or Hair Dryer: In Houston's warm climate, using hot water or a hairdryer can help make the metal more pliable. Gently heat the area around the dent, being cautious not to overheat and damage the paint.
Compressed Air and Dust-Off: Turn a can of compressed air or dust-off upside down and spray the dent. The rapid cooling effect can sometimes cause the metal to contract, reducing the appearance of the dent.
DIY Dent Repair Kits: Invest in a quality DIY dent repair kit, which typically includes tools like suction cups, dent pullers, and dent removal rods. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid causing further damage.
Boiling Water Method: For plastic bumpers, carefully pour boiling water over the affected area. Use your hands or a plunger to gently push the dent out from the inside.
Dry Ice Technique: If the dent is on a metal panel, use dry ice. Hold a piece of dry ice against the dent for a few minutes and then use a soft cloth or your hands to gently massage the area. This method exploits the extreme temperature difference to help pop the dent out.
Plunger Method: For shallow dents, a suction cup or plunger can be effective. Moisten the area and create a seal with the plunger. Push and pull to create suction, and the dent may pop out.
Boiled Water and Plunger Combo: Combine the hot water method with a plunger for added effectiveness. Heat the dent with hot water and then use the plunger to create suction.
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Techniques: Learn about paintless dent repair techniques that involve massaging or pushing the dent out from the back of the panel. Specialized PDR tools may be required, but it can be a highly effective method.
Patience is Key: Take your time and be patient. Rushing the process can lead to further damage. If the dent is extensive or if you're unsure, it's always best to consult a professional.
Protect the Paint: When using any DIY method, be cautious not to damage the paint. Mask off the surrounding area with painter's tape and proceed with care.
Know When to Seek Professional Help: If the dent is too large, deep, or if paint is chipped or scratched, it's advisable to seek professional help. Professional dent repair services have the expertise and tools to handle more complex situations.
Remember, safety is crucial, and if you're uncertain about the repair process, it's wise to consult with a professional auto body shop for assistance.
