what’s the easiest part of drawing a transformer for you? or are the parts more or less equal?

if i'd answered you earlier when you've sent this, I would've said that every part that requires meticulous care in the lines of details was difficult, especially concerning tfp's, or for example alex milne's beautiful line work in mtmte

However, over the months ive found that breaking down bot's bodies initially into simple shapes, to understand their frame's silhouette, makes them much easier to work around..

I actually wanted to draw out a tutorial for this ask, but I am one easily distracted motherfucker. Anyway

my process is broken down into two components: to find the perfect balance between dynamism and accuracy to the bot's body, without relying on too many curves to show the flow in poses (considering the amount of blockier transformers, it is possible)

Golden rule that everyone knows of by now: practice makes perfect. Studies from, say the art book for tfp, or the various artists who've worked on the idw comics, will help you Immensely to improve your perception of transformer bodies in a 3D space. 'Course, it depends from one artist to another if they enjoy the grind, i personally like taking on the challenge, but the same cant be said for everyone

Another good tip is that you don't always have to be loyal to their designs to make certain poses work, you can bend the rules here and there, trying to sneak in every detail. every time, is exhausting, so scarifices have to be made

so in conclusion to answer your question, after months of practice, id say the parts are more or less equal :)

I watched the whole series in just a month! It's great, delightful, amazing. I'm kicking my feet.

I'm so impressed with how the writers manage to give the main characters more than just 1-2 defining traits. each one has their own depth, and it’s so so interesting to me because this show has such a huge cast, yet every single character is so likable

the world-building is absolutely massive, especially since Dragons Rising. every unanswered event could become a plot for another arc—and it happens SO often. It’s mind-boggling to me

Its been only half a day since she arrived in this port town, trying her best to make small pocket change in order to continue her trip. However things were not as simple as one would expect them to be. Being someone who has lived isolated from big towns for a while, things got overwhelming too soon.

And things turned upside down when she refused to provide healing services to rather...unsavory characters.

Turning into an alley making sure she lost her pursuers she would glance over her shoulder but not pay attention to the road ahead. Which caused her to bump into someone, firm, it was like if she ran into a wall! "A-ah excuse me about that!" she squeaks as her eyes look up at rougish looking man....much similar to the ones looking for her. Nervouslly she takes a step back but flinches when she hears voices loudly discussing between each other, approaching closer to this very alley.

in a way old mond isn't dead. they are living in in their ideals and decsendents. sure its a cold and lonely thing to have, but its also a comfort and something to be cherished. to be reduced down to nothing not even your own name just your actions- and yet all that matters after all that dehumaniziation and myth making is the fact that thing that survied for thousands of years and maybe beyond is their love. he can sit with the traveler on the hand’s of the statue and be reminded too much of himself, and his bard. of how they, and paimon, go back and forth, with the palms underneath him throwing him a further too much into that nostalgia—remember that? do you remember any conversations we had like that?

(and he can look at kaeya, at rosaria, at—hell, those who look in the eyes of the heavens and say no, this is not how it will go, i refuse to let it continue like this. and he’s reminded of a mortal with eyes as cold as ice but a heart infinitely fond and sweet and he feels his heart squeeze. amos. amos, the dear that you were, the better you should’ve have.)

and he can look at the weapons left behind and hold them close and think that the warmth that surrounds him then isn’t just from his body itself warming the metals. and he can look around and see the future that they wished for, how it’s everything and more, how lovely they would’ve been in the lighting of the sunrise.

anyways yeah that wisp and their beloveds are loved through and through despite it all they have much room in their heart

kaku had to get used to dirty talk. he felt silly in the beginning when i mentioned liking it, and also was against calling me anything derogatory for a while. the type to actually lecture me bc he thought i was asking him to degrade me bc i feel like i deserve it or smth💀 when i explained its nothin like that and what it does for me he felt a lil better about it. he loves to say good girl & angel & things like that. and he likes being called a good boy, too. i like to call him daddy bc i like the effect it has on him <3 as for dirty talk he lets the filthiest things slip when he doesn't even mean to. when he's desperate or close or jealous or sleepy. it's not all the time but it makes it especially hot when it happens <333
