NORMAL IS GOOD
Tumblr media
"Think about it, Jenny. Everyday, television stations everywhere experience one oddity after another. We can't air a regular celebration of the sea sponge without somebody calling the network out. Don't you think we should avert back to a normal schedule?"
truth be told i'm not as fond with this as i'd like to be. it's still pretty good, and it's also a decent proof of concept. this is basically another one of those tv anomalies. but the network (not nickelodeon) is actively working with the hijack, and the "big thing" is that the hijacker is getting tired of all these anomalies happening too often on television.
this was mainly done because i feel like we get a new resignation video biweekly (not that the resignation incident itself is bad), but it was also an excuse to do exo-skin jenny because her design rocks
rest of this post will be some additional stuff.

Okay but like. Jenny is trans-coded and I think it's a really fascinating part of her story.
She wasn't born like a human girl but desperately desires to be one. She hates her old name (xj-9). Gets excited when she's called "a daughter" etc etc. Her experience AS a robot girl is OBJECTIVELY different from a human girl's. Yet... that doesn't make her any less of a girl!
And I think with the reading of her story as Trans.. you know what episode (to me) becomes FAR MORE interesting?
Tumblr media
Raggedy Android.
For those unaware (aside from this being listed as "one of the creepiest episodes in cartoon history" which. like. IT IS.) In this episode Jenny gets excluded from a hangout spot BECAUSE she's a robot.
Eventually this leads to her putting on her human exo suit. She LOOKS and is TREATED like a normal girl for once!
But there's a cost to this.
The exo suit begins to control her against her will. Forcing her to sit out of fights. Jenny isn't herself.
The suit tells her "this is how normal girls behave"
The episode, of course, ends with Jenny busting out of the suit and being herself!
Tumblr media
To me this episode is really interesting in the context of the accidental trans-coding of Jenny because it's something Trans people DO have to face!
"If you don't act super feminine as a trans woman than you're not a real woman!" Some might say.
And if that's how you want to present as a trans-woman that's entirely valid!
But that should be YOUR CHOICE!
Trans-men should be allowed to be feminine, trans-women should be allowed to be masculine! Nonbinary people are allowed to be some other third thing.
Just because Jenny fights crime and is made of metal doesn't make her ANY less of a girl than anyone else and that's why I really love this episode!

Once again I have found myself watching through the entirety of the 2000's Nickelodeon show from Cartoon Network alumnus Rob Renzetti, MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT.
The show was an immediate favorite of mine as a child and it has a lot of staying power as a piece of animation thanks to its visual style, themes, characters, and sense of humor. It's honestly one of if not my favorite cartoon and I wanted to get some people interested and give them some confidence while watching it. Usually these days people make skip lists for shows, that will probably be the smallest part of this post but I still wanted to give people recommendations and tell them what to look for and expect.
This list will help you find the GOOD EPISODES, GENDER EPISODES, and BAD EPISODES. I will also be providing a link to where to watch it for free below the read more.
As of writing this post the entirety of My Life As A Teenage Robot is available for free at pretty decent visual quality over at archive.org. This is how I rewatched the show.
The first suggestion comes for WATCH ORDER. This one is easy, the episodes are ordered as they should be aside from Escape From Cluster Prime parts 1 & 2 (Season 2x09a & b, as listed in the archive.org playlist) which you should watch after having finished the rest of season 2 first.
Season 3 of MLAATR comes out after the events of this special episode so don't save it for the very end.
Now for Content Lists. There are a few categories I'm making lists for. To make this easy keep in mind that pretty much every episode (EXCEPT THE LAST) of this show is totally watchable, even when they aren't great. So these content categories will come with the added modifier that if I think they're VERY GOOD I will highlight them GREEN, and if I think they're BAD I'll highlight them RED. I'll talk about my favorite episodes after we get through these.
GENDER/BODY IMAGE CONTENT
For a lot of you I imagine this is why you're here. Jenny has become a bit of a transgender icon for trans women who watched cartoons in the 2000's. I do want to preface this by saying Rob Renzetti has gone on record saying this was not his direct intention but that he is supportive of the interpretation and as a trans woman I find Jenny's struggles very relatable and in some ways as an autistic person she hits a lot closer to home than other canon trans characters.
So if you want to just watch a couple episodes just to get a shot of gender struggle so you can point at the screen and tell your friends "see! I told you Jenny was trans!" this list will have that. I am also including general body image content on this list because I think that's very relatable for but not exclusive to the struggles of trans women. Any body image centric content on this list will have BI listed after it.
"It Came From Next Door" 1x01a
"Pest Control" 1x01b (BI)
"Raggedy Android" 1x02a (
"The Great Unwashed" 1x06b (BI)
"The Return of Raggedy Android" 1x07a
"Hostile Makeover" 1x09a (BI, and it also makes a great case for puberty blockers imho)
"Tradeshow Showdown" 1x12b
"Victim of Fashion" 2x01 (BI)
"Humiliation 101" 2x03b (BI)
"Weapons of Mass Distraction" 3x01a
Season 1 definitely has the most to do with Jenny's self image, so you'll find it coming up in various episodes. It becomes less apparent as the seasons go on due to Jenny building self confidence.
SHELDON CONTENT
The chaser of the show. Not everyone hates Sheldon, but his crux as a character is being a creep/nerd who doesn't take no for an answer. I think at times his utter depravity as a toaster fucker and the butt of jokes works so I tolerate him for the most part but the way the show plays with his role/the possibility him and Jenny could get together is very Cringe/Cringe Comedy. He also sort of turns into the "gay friend" role in later seasons, which I'm sure a certain kind of person could dig into what that means for the themes of this show. Anyway, here's just a heads up for what episodes center Sheldon if you hate him or love him (???????).
"Attack of The 5½ Ft. Geek" 1x03a
"Ear No Evil" 1x04a
"Shell Game" 1x10b
"Saved By The Shell" 1x12a
"Love 'Em Or Leash 'Em" 2x04a
"A Robot For All Seasons" 2x05
"Dancing With My Shell" 2x07a
"A Pain In My Sidekick" 2x09a
"Designing Women" 2x10a
"Escape from Cluster Prime" 2x13-14 (I mean... he's IN IT... but don't skip this one)
"The Price of Love" 3x06b
"Good Old Sheldon" 3x07b (had this been the last episode with Sheldon in it, my opinion on him would improve greatly)
"Infectious Personality" 3x08a (this episode is mostly just weird)
"Agent 00' Sheldon" 3x09a
Silver Shell stops showing up in season 3. Also by season 2 Sheldon gets a lot of furry/pet play content so... do with that as you will.
SHIPPING CONTENT
Here's a list of some episodes if you're working on fics and need a reference. These eps are focused primarily on supporting whatever argument you're trying to make and I'll try to be impartial in this. Also I'm not really gonna do side characters.
"Hostile Makeover" 1x09a (Jenny x Brad)
"Saved By The Shell" 1x12a (Jenny x Sheldon)
"Love 'Em Or Leash 'Em" 2x04a (Jenny x YK9)
"Bradventure" 2x11a (Brad x Melody)
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Troubles" 2x12b (Jenny x Misty)
"Escape from Cluster Prime" 2x13-14 (Jenny x Vega)
"No Harmony with Melody" 3x02a (Brad x Melody)
"Mist Opportunities" 3x05b (Jenny x Misty) (primarily in conflict however)
"The Price of Love" 3x06b (Jenny x Sheldon)
"Agent 00' Sheldon" 3x09a (Jenny x Sheldon)
"Ball and Chain" 3x11a (Jenny x Brad)
OFFENSIVE
Okay, so what in this show do I think is bad or could offend people? Well, several of the cartoons show other cultures in a way that could be considered derogatory. This is again going to be me trying to be objective because I'm just some white girl who can't make the call for a lot of these, and a lot of these are issues in episodes I like.
"Speak No Evil" 1x05b (Japanese people depicted with yellow skin)
"Around the World in Eighty Pieces" 2x07b (Various cultures depicted in caricature such as the middle east and japan)
"Samurai Vac" 3x13a (SKIP, this one I feel pretty confident in saying the depiction of Japan is offensive and reductive. I also just think this episode is mostly bad and weird? The characterization of Jenny doesn't feel like her at all. The episode after it "Turncoats" isn't really worth a watch either, so you can call your watch through after Queen Bee.)
AVA'S FAVS
Here are the episodes I really like that I think you should definitely give a look! I will mostly be focusing on a few that haven't been mentioned here unless I think they're so good they need to be brought up again.
"It Came From Next Door" 1x01a (Obviously we've been here before, but the first episode of this show is solid enough that even if you just want to watch one episode, the first episode I think can do that for you)
"Raggedy Android/Return of Raggedy Android" 1x02a & 1x07a (These are just two episodes that work well together as dialogues with Jenny's self image/relationship with femininity and they get pretty creepy with it too!)
Various Great Season 1 eps: "Class Action" "Doom With a View" "Unlicensed Flying Object" "The Great Unwashed" "The Boy Who Cried Robot" "Grid Iron Glory"
"The Wonderful World of Wizzly" 1x13a (Rob Renzetti hates Disney part 1)
"Victim of Fashion" 2x01 (Jenny's outfits in this episode are VERY GOOD)
"Mind Over Matter" 2x02b
"Around the World in Eighty Pieces" 2x07b
"Mama Drama" 2x11b (Jenny is a terror)
"A Spoonful of Mayhem" 3x04a (ACAB)
"Girl of Steal" 3x05a (They managed to make their "don't steal" episode very funny and not preachy)
"Indes-Tuck-tible" 3x09b
"Historionics" 3x10b (Rob Renzetti hates Disney part 2)
"Voyage to the Planet of the Bikers" 3x12a
CONCLUSION
My Life As A Teenage Robot is a really exceptional show that I think should be remembered as more than just the vehicle for Jenny's introduction into the world. As an adult watching this show I really can't get over the art. The character design, the shading, the backgrounds, their commitment to drawing crowds as various different character styles. It really was a show that was going for it's style and it cohered very well. The humor also stands alongside other successful comedic shows like spongebob handily. As an adult, the sort of nerdy humor with fewer annoying bits works better for me than going back and watching a lot of cartoons.
As an adult I think I also appreciate how much the show was going for "dealing this situations." Obviously the show has morals for kids, but I think a bit thing it was going for was just showing characters dealing with tough/ridiculous scenarios. The show DOES stuff TO its characters giving what are very simple characters a chance to shine.
It's also very fun to see a character build confidence and earn the forgiveness of people. Obviously the world is unfair to Jenny but at it's core I think it shows a world that cares about her and can appreciate her just as much as it can anyone else. Despite standing out, Jenny is as much appreciated as she is derided. I really loved getting to see the life Jenny had to live, and I hope you do too.

7:23pm.
The white police cruiser pulled up to the raggedy warehouse, parking on the side of the road. At first glance, it seemed rather normal. It was about two stories tall, brick walls, vines all over… any bits of wood were rotting… but overall, it was your average abandoned building — other than the horrors that took place within it.
These walls wouldn’t talk — they’d scream.
The music that quietly played in the car was fully shut off as you killed the engine, taking the key out and placing it in your pocket as you exited the sedan. Leon followed suit, shutting the door behind him as he observed the warehouse. “That’s totally not creepy,” you remarked as you prepared yourself to face whatever was lurking in that monstrosity. Leon softly chuckled in response, thankfully being programmed with some sense of humor.
Back-up was on the way, and you couldn’t be more grateful. Sure, it was nice to know that you had an android detective by your side, but you two didn’t know each other that well yet. It’d take some time for you to get used to him, even if he was already adjusting to you.
The two of you made your way towards the entrance, proceeding with caution. Even after several years of working with the RPD, you still didn’t know how to process these situations. It was a difficult job, and some say that you should be worried if it ever got easier.
“Don’t worry, detective. I’ll be by your side the entire time,” Leon spoke softly, trying to ease your mind. Your heart rate was spiking, and he knew you needed to be calm going into the situation — or who knows what could happen. One mistake could change the whole mission.
Butterfly effect.
You just gave him a small smile and a light nod in return, ready to move on. Leon slowly opened the door, opting to go first and let you follow behind. Part of this mission was about protecting you, so he would put himself in harm's way in order to ensure that he was fully successful.
Your android partner walked in first, gun in hand as he observed the foyer. His gaze shifted quickly from place to place as he looked for any and all signs of life. His steps were slow, yet calculated, committing anything and everything about the warehouse to memory.
The two of you wandered around the warehouse, carefully creeping into each and every room. But after quite some time, you never found him. You didn’t even know who he was, but you were sure that your team could identify him with the right evidence from the scene. If this was really where the mystery man was based, anyway.
“He’s not here,” Leon determined, gently pointing his gun down but still keeping his guard up.
“Yeah, seems so,” you agreed, looking around the building as you sought out anything that may seem off. “Well, let’s check out the place. We could find more information that could tell us about our guy or what he’s doing here.”
Your partner nodded along as you spoke, choosing to follow your lead. You walked around for a bit, eventually finding yourself in the basement of the warehouse. This seemed to be the unsub’s main workshop, and yes, I mean that as a literal workshop.
Few lights shined within the dark and eerie basement, still leaving it rather dim. There was a hospital bed in the middle of the room, which you assumed was where Martha had died, and it had one lamp above it — almost as if it were from an operating room.
You shined a flashlight towards the rest of the decor that filled the area, wandering around as you examined everything. Surgical tools, android parts, several bags of thirium… how did this guy obtain all of this? He also had papers about the disappearances on the walls, seemingly loving the attention he was getting from all of this. You couldn’t believe it. How was someone so sick? Walking towards the mini fridge he had near a counter, you misjudged your steps and slipped into…
Is that… is that — blood?
Oh God.
Staggering backwards away from the pile that you had confirmed was definitely human blood, you felt two arms help you get back up, standing up after a few moments of struggling. “You okay?” Leon asked, his icy blue eyes searching yours for an answer.
“I’m alive…” you replied, not really knowing how to answer his question. He just nodded, seemingly understanding you perfectly even if you didn’t say a word.
Leon took the lead as you two finished searching the basement, constantly finding things that made you absolutely sick to your stomach. You could never get used to any of this, even after so many years of being in the force. But at least you had Leon by your side, right?
“That’s everything. We should get out of here and make a plan to catch him when he comes back,” the blond suggested, turning away from the horrors that lay within the basement and facing towards you. “Yeah… yeah, I’m sure we can figure something out,” you agreed, readying yourself to leave. But as you did so, you could hear metal creaking and the sounds of people groaning. Something was in there, and it wasn’t planning on leaving you alone.
“Leon? What’s that?” you questioned, hoping that your partner would have an answer. He looked over to where the noises came from, shining a flashlight towards the general direction— observing it. It didn’t take long for him to realize what was going on. “Those are androids… They’ve been… it seems our guy has been doing experiments on them,” Leon concluded, looking away from the damaged machines after a moment. They weren’t even human, but God, they sure seemed like it. Especially in times like these, where you could just see and feel the amount of distress they were in.
“Based on the newspapers, he caught wind of us finding out about the missing people, and he opted for androids instead to try to cover up his tracks,” you stated, disgusted by the unsub’s actions. How could someone do such a thing? It was horrendous, really. Those poor androids…
Clearly, the droids were even more hurt about the situation than you were — physically and emotionally. They had gone through so much. Just by the physical evidence, they were experimented on, abused, had parts exchanged or ripped from them completely and who knows what kind of torture they’ve endured other than that.
“Help us, please… he’ll be back any minute, but we can all escape,” one voice begged, his voice box slightly damaged.
A broken AX400 placed her hands on the cage walls, pleading with you. “Please… we’ve done nothing wrong. We just want to be free.”
You looked at Leon, and you could see the distress in his face. He had… he had sympathy for these androids. His LED changed to yellow, remaining there for quite some time before going back to the usual blue. And eventually, he looked back at you. He wanted to help them so desperately, but if anyone found out about his feelings towards the situation, he would be called a deviant and reminded of his place before he was reset. Or even worse, discarded in a junkyard to be forgotten about.
SOFTWARE INSTABILITY ^
You communicated with your team and had your back-up return to the station before they ever even arrived at the location. You had a plan figured out and hopefully, it could work.
Afterwards, you spoke with the androids, doing your best to help them stay calm. Although Leon was conflicted because of his emotions and his orders, you didn’t have to worry about that, so you decided to try to ease their worries. You couldn’t let them out yet, but you’d help them when you returned. You promised, and they trusted that you would keep it.
9:35pm.
You and Leon made your way back to the police department, ready to catch the unsub and put an end to this mess. Your heart was heavy, and so was the silence that fell between you two. It was a difficult situation, and neither of you knew how to go about dealing with it.
The car sped down the streets of Raccoon City, with the soft raindrops being the only sound that filled the quiet space.
“You alright?“ you asked, trying to check in on him. Most people wouldn’t even bother, but it was important to you that you always check in on your partners – android or not. “That was a lot… for both of us.”
The android next to you remained quiet for a few seconds before turning to face you. “I was scared. I could feel their pain… their suffering. I’m not supposed to, but— I could. Maybe there’s an error in my software, but I swear I’m not a deviant!.. I just–”
“It’s okay, Leon. I’m not gonna tell anyone. You can trust me.”
He must’ve trusted you a lot already, because if anyone else heard that, Leon would never be heard from again. But he knew that you were different, he knew that you cared. You wouldn’t hurt him, would you?
No, you wouldn’t.
Before you knew it, the two of you had arrived at the station. It had started raining, so you got a black umbrella out from the trunk and used it to keep you and poor Leon from getting wet. He probably didn’t mind the rain, but it’s just good manners to keep your friends safe and dry during harsh weather. Was he your friend? At this rate, maybe. You’d like to think so, anyway.
As you walked inside, you were greeted with almost complete and utter silence. Most of the staff had gone home at this point, only leaving you, Leon, a few officers and some janitors within the massive building. Not that it was a bad thing, of course. They needed time with their families and it gave you a few moments of peace — which was always needed with a job like this.
“I’m gonna go take care of some reports and then head home for the night,” you said to Leon as you made your way to the west office, making a beeline for your desk. He just smiled a little, giving you a simple “okay” before following you to the office to check out his own desk. Did he need it? Maybe, maybe not. But the thought was still nice. The welcome sign, too.
“Did you like the decorations?” you asked with a smile, just curious to see what he thought about them. “I did everything myself.”
SOFTWARE INSTABILITY ^
He nodded, smiling in return. “Yeah, they’re very nice. Thank you.” Okay, maybe he’s a little awkward, but still cute nonetheless.
“Sure thing,” you replied before sitting at your desk, eager to get everything done so you could get some sleep before waking up earlier and carrying on with the case. Today’s work had been exhausting in more ways than one, but you didn’t even know if you could actually get any rest until the unsub had been caught. Only time will tell.
The way you saw it, it was unfortunate that you hadn’t caught the guy — or even identified him, as he left no traces of his DNA or identity anywhere — but you also found some strong pieces of evidence. Speaking of evidence, you had Samuel, the caged androids, the android parts, literal human blood spills and so much more. The first and second floors of the disgusting warehouse were left alone as if it truly was abandoned, but once you got to the basement, you had realized it was anything but abandoned.
It had practically become a slaughterhouse.
You weren’t really sure as to why the unsub would do such a thing, maybe he had his reasons or maybe he was just insane, but you knew you’d figure it out soon. You had a plan, and you wished so desperately for it to work. You had to do something, there was no doubt about it. Countless lives had been lost, both human and not, and you were determined to figure out why.
And after a couple of hours of handling reports and other tedious work, you grabbed everything you needed to take home and readied yourself to leave. But of course, you wouldn’t leave without saying goodbye first. “Goodnight, Leon.”
“Goodnight.”

Enjoy!!
. . .
. . .
You had been with Marcella for a couple of months and you couldn't have been happier. You're a ragdoll that had been sitting in an antique shop for so long, even your clothes were rotting and moths ate at them. Every day, your hope faded that someone would buy you, at this point you were even hoping to be in a display case. You thought you would have never been played with like you had dreamed until Marcella picked you up.
When she first brought you home, you were so nervous at meeting all of the other toys that you laid limply as if a human saw you. They tried to make introductions, but you were much too scared not being used to being alive during the day. You felt so silly for being so nervous, especially when you were called a 'pill' by Andy, but you couldn't help it.
You were so happy but didn't want to believe it was true, fearing you would just go back to the antique shop. Marcella proved your fears wrong however as she played with you all day when she first got you. She gave you a new dress, in your favorite color with lace that lined the dress, a pastel version of your favorite color. The bottom of the dress had sunflowers scattered along the skirt with a white apron tied around your waist.
You were in tea parties and fashion shows with Marcella, you had dreamed of this every day since you were in that blasted antique store. You even got played along with other toys, there were so many different ones, you wanted to cry in joy but had to keep it in. Marcella was so sweet, she wasn't the most gentle but you didn't care. You were getting played with! You couldn't believe it, it felt like a dream you never wanted to end.
When Marcella had to sleep, leaving all of you in the nursery, you sobbed hard enough to wake everyone. "Y/n, what's wrong?" Ann said, coming over right away. She fell from her excitement, landing by your feet.
Your emotions had been shut off for so long, you didn't even know you could cry. Marcella was a sweet little girl, so you assumed that her rules were that her toys could cry. At that realization, you only cried more. You won the lottery of getting such a good kid, all of that waiting was worth it.
You could see all of the toys crowd around you with Andy being right by his sister. Even Babette was there, although a bit further back. You were still very nervous, however you were dying to get all of your feelings out, they felt like a big dense ball in your body.
"I-I've never been played with before!" You wailed. "I've been sitting for decades and I got played with all day. I dreamed of this for so long, I love Marcella so much!" You wailed, grabbing Raggedy Anne to squeeze her tight.
"You really mean that, Y/n?" Ann asked, her voice tender and sweet as she held you right back. She loved hugs, any and all affection she welcomed with open arms. You didn't know that fact at the time, just being grateful that you could be held as you cried, crying for the first time overwhelmed you terribly, much more than being nervous.
You hummed a 'yes', getting a big cheer from the group. You stared off with Ann in your arms, staring at a pair of overalls. Andy shifted, then kneeled so he was staring right at you, your (e/c) button eyes widened at how he looked into your eyes.
"Yeah, Marcelle's pretty great, isn't she?" Andy said with a light-hearted sigh.
You looked away but nodded, letting go of Ann. Ann's eyes widened, then wiped your tears with her hand, your tears left a wet spot on the cotton material of her hand. "But Andy, I thought you didn't like being a girl's toy!" She said behind her shoulder with a giggle.
Andy crossed his arms. "I only said that because I was tired of dressing up and tea parties, but I still love Marcelle." He huffed.
You smiled. You didn't believe it when Marcelle said that Andy had a candy heart just like his sister, but he proved it right now. Although you could tell he didn't like admitting it, so you didn't comment on it, instead keeping it in mind for later.
"Thank you, Ann." You said, mustering a wobbly smile as you could still feel crying come on again.
"Of course, that's what friends are for!" She said.
"My sister is a very good friend." Andy said, putting a mitten on Ann's shoulder.
"Thank you Andy." She said bashfully, making the other toys exclaim at her.
They all gave a comment about her, making her hide her face. Even though she was the apparent leader of the toy room, greeting new toys first and solving the problems of the nursery, she was still bashful. Getting to be in a room filled with tender hearted toys made you so happy, your chest filled with warmth.
You had waited for so long and got not only a kid so perfect for you, but all of her toys were just as sweet and tender, all you could feel was relief that this is your new life. All of that waiting was worth it, you couldn't believe that you were going to be played with from now on.
That had been a couple of months ago. You had played a lot, immediately coming out of your shell. Ann was so sweet, it was hard not to come out of your shell around her with how tender she is. Many of the toys were like that and even Babette warmed up to you when you mentioned offhandedly that you enjoyed fashion.
Andy was the only one you couldn't figure out. Sometimes he would be so sweet, making your entire cloth body heat up while other times he gave you a cold shoulder, often either hiding himself or seeking you out.
You didn't understand why he would be aloof some days, but you knew you enjoyed every second when he wouldn't want to be alone because then you got to play with him. Even though he said he didn't like the more gentle games, if you asked him he would always say yes. He would pout and grumble if other toys were watching him play those games but when it was just you two, you could tell he liked playing with you a lot.
You had everything, yet you weren't satisfied. It was autumn, before coming here it was the only time you felt happy. You could see all of the beautiful colors of the trees, breaking up the monotony of being on the highest shelf of the antique store. You wanted to go outside so bad back then but you were afraid of more bugs eating your clothing.
However you were at Marcella's now, you heard of the other toys going outside. You wanted to see leaves for the first time and even take one inside with you. You had always dreamed of going outside and enjoying the different colors of the leaves.
You finally mustered up the courage to ask Andy to take you outside. At first you asked Ann, being the closest with her, however she suggested to ask Andy instead. It made you confused, wanting to know why you should ask him and not her since he had been so polar opposite with you.
"Oh yeah, y/n, he's strong and tough." Ann said, covering her mouth, trying not to grin too much. She then beckoned you over to whisper "He likes protecting other toys and he knows more shortcuts than I do. You should ask him!"
You looked over at Andy who was on his back lifting a barbell made with objects from around the room, a thick paintbrush with rolls of tape on the side. You bit your lip nervously, then looked over to Andy. Sure, you knew everyone was nice and you had come out of your shell a lot, but every new situation that called you to be brave made you go into your shell right away.
"You can do it, y/n!" She said, a warm encouraging smile on her lips.
She was right, her smile made you know that you were scared because this was new, not because it was a scary situation. You walked over to Andy, a determined glint in your eye. However the courage you mustered up during your walk over to the ragdoll fell flat as you could hear him grunt and puff at lifting the barbell. You could feel a ball in your throat seeing him, wouldn't you be bothering him if he was already doing this?
You couldn't really back out as he noticed you not even a minute after coming over. He did a double take looking at the skirt of your dress, "Y-Y/n?" He asked in surprise, accidentally dropping the barbell on himself with an 'oof.'
"Andy!" You exclaimed, trying to grab one side of it. You didn't have much upper body strength, but you tried lifting it off of him the best you could. You tried and tried, your entire cloth body was warm from your efforts and it barely budged
"Here, let me get that." He said, lifting it with ease, setting it down beside himself.
"Wow, you really are strong!" You said. "I couldn't even lift that off of you."
You could see his face got so red, however he puffed his chest out. "W-well, yeah! I gotta be strong, tough, and terrific, makes me protect toys better, you know!" He said with a certain nod.
"Oh, that reminds me!" You said, remembering your question. "Do you think you could help me get to the backyard? I wanna get a leaf."
"A leaf? Why would you need a leaf?" He said.
You looked out of the window, seeing the orange tree by the nursery window. "I had been cooped up in that awful antique store. I saw autumn so many times and never could go and enjoy it, it was the only thing that made me happy then. I wanna bring some of it in here."
Andy hummed, rubbing his chin. "Well, why don't we bring a bunch then? Makes more sense that way."
"You'll help me, really?" You asked, a big smile on your face.
"Sure!" He said, standing up and offering his hands to help you stand up. "I'll take any excuse to go outside."
You could feel your cheeks get dark at the thought of holding his hands, even if it was for just getting up. You knew he was a very affectionate doll, but it still made you blush all the same. You took them, smiling as you got up. You were face to face with him, he was only a little taller than you but his face was so close to yours.
His black button eyes were wide and so were yours. You looked away and you could hear him cough, letting go. "Yeah, let's head out." He said.
The trip out was tense, but you didn't feel scared at all. He helped you down every stair, his hands on your waist and your hands on his shoulders. He insisted on helping you, saying how didn't want you exhausted before you even got to the backyard. You knew he couldn't help touching you, he was even like that with his sister, but it made you blush all the same. You enjoyed it a lot, it made you feel like he was your knight, and you were his princess.
Getting through the house was pretty easy. Only Marcella's mother would be here but she was out grocery shopping and she just left when you had asked Andy to come with. "I don't remember it taking this long to get there." He said with a huff. "Usually I just throw myself down the stairs."
"Why didn't you this time?" You asked.
"I know you're a ragdoll," He said. "But I don't want you throwing yourself down the stairs. I don't want you having to visit Susie to get new holes repaired after you went outside for the first time."
"You're so sweet Andy." You said, then hugged him.
"Gosh," He chuckled, hugging you back. "Of course! I wouldn't ever want you hurt, sweet cheeks."
"Sweet?" You asked, only parting enough to see his face that had a big grin.
"Well yeah!" He said, pinching your hot cheek. "They look like candy when they're so red!"
"Andy, you're making it worse!" You whined with a pout.
"You want me to stop?" He asked, letting go of you, opting instead to hold your hand.
You shook your head, hiding your face in your mitten. "No, you don't gotta." You said. You looked over, seeing his face even darker than what yours probably is. He nodded, then rubbed the back of his neck with the hand that wasn't holding yours. "Well, let's keep going. Marcella's mom might get home soon." He said, walking to the backyard.
He didn't let go of your hand once unt you both were outside. Maybe he forgot but you weren't going to tell him if that was the case. It was so nice holding his hand. He then had to open the door. "Watch this!" He said before he let go of your hand. He jumped high, grabbing onto the handle and pushed it open with his feet on the wall beside it.
"Oh wow!" You said, getting out of the way to give the door room to open.
He dropped down beside you and you helped him up so he could stand on his own. When you let go, he took off his hat and with a flourished bow, he said "And the outside, my lady." He said with a sweet smils.
You broke out into a fit of giggles at the exaggerated flourish. He gave a bigger smile, hiding his face with his hat. After you stopped laughing, he asked "After we get the leaves, do you wanna see some cool things out here?"
You nodded, going out into the backyard first with him following behind you. "We can grab at least five with us."
"Yeah that would be great!" You said, getting right to work on finding good leaves. All of them were beautiful but some called out to you more than the rest, the first five you felt that with, you had grabbed.
"Here, let me get that." He said, taking them all in his arms.
"You sure you don't mind grabbing them all?" You asked.
He shook his head. "Nah." He said. "I don't think she'll be back soon. Can I show you some stuff while we're here?"
"Yeah!" You said. He walked in a direction and you followed, he walked over to a log that was bigger than the both of you setting down the leaves in a nice pile.
"Sometimes twigs fall down and it hides a bunch of bugs." He explained. He went to a big stick, then flipped it over. Underneath was dirt almost black in color with something in the middle. It was something green and it kept squishing and expanding. You kneeled down, grabbing it with your mitten and put it in your arm. It covered a good part of your arm and you could see its skin was textured, looking like a softly curved 'L' with small appendages sticking out at the end that was by your head.
"No way you got that on your first try!" He exclaimed.
"What is it?" You asked.
"A slug!" He said with an amazed laugh. "Most girls would get grossed out. One time I showed Babette a slug and she didn't speak to me for a week!"
You looked, seeing the slug try to get off your arm and you gave it your other hand to crawl onto. "Why didn't she talk to you?" You asked, your eyes still on the slug.
"She was that grossed out!" He said with a big laugh.
You hummed, looking at it. 'Well, it's not gross to me." You said with a certain nod. "It's actually very cute." You said, seeing it crawl onto your other hand.
"Yeah well, Babette is kind of a pill." He said. "I know she's dating my sister so I gotta get along with her but," his mouth made a squiggly line, then he gave out a big sigh. "You know, I thought you were gonna be as stuffy as her too."
"What do you mean?" You asked, setting down the slug into its hiding place. He set down the branch and guided you to another place in the backyard.
"Well, here's a new girl doll and Marcella gave her a brand new dress. I thought you were gonna be as stuffy as the last new girl doll." He said with a shrug. You wanted to ask him what he thought of you now, then something caught his attention.
"Oh yeah, here's another." Andy said. "But this might be the last one I can show you." You two were by another tree, he pointed up and you could hear twinkling. You looked up, seeing silver sticks clanging together, making them chime.
"What's that?" You asked.
"I think they're called windchimes." He said, scratching his yarn hair.
"They sound so pretty." You gasped, looking up at them. With every breeze, the chimes twinkled and shined in the sunlight. The air was cool but you felt so warm with the sound and being around Andy.
"Yeah, pretty sound and a pretty doll fit together I guess." He huffed, crossing his arms.
You could feel your blush come back again. He was always so sweet. "Thank you Andrew." You cooed, reaching over and gave a small peck on his cheek. "I was so scared coming outside today but you made it so much fun."
He gave a goofy giggle, holding the place where you kissed. You felt something land on you, your smile immediately dropped.
You could feel terror in your gut at what landed on you. "A moth!" You yelled, shaking it off. You could feel your cloth heart racing, pure shock through your entire body, afraid of it biting you.
Andy immediately came to your side, waving his hands until it flew away. "Lay off of her!" He shouted to the moth flying away.
You could feel hot tears run down your cloth face and you hiccuped. You tried covering it up before he noticed but it didn't take long for him to look at you. "What's wrong, y/n?" He asked, coming to hold you.
"Moths ate me when I was in that stupid antique store!" You sobbed before putting your head in the crook of his neck. "I don't wanna be eaten again or Marcella will throw me out because I'll be so beaten up! I already had five holes before!"
"Hey, hey, take it easy, sweets. Marcella wouldn't do that." Andy said, patting your back as you cried. He gave you a minute, wondering what to say to make you feel better. "And besides, I'll protect you from those dumb moths."
You looked up, seeing his confident grin. "You will?" You asked, your voice still soft, afraid of your voice cracking.
"Of course!" He said, wiping a stray tear. "I'm gonna protect you no matter what."
"Thank you, Andy." You warbled, seeing the tear soaked into his cloth hand. "I think I had enough time outside though."
"Yeah, let's head in." He said before he let go. You were about to get the leaves, but he beat you to them and gathered all of them in his arms. He stuck his tongue out at you, making you give a huff. "Gotta be quicker than that, y/n."
"Are you sure you don't mind holding that?" You asked.
"Nah, I was the one who suggested getting all of these leaves." He said. You walked ahead of him so you could close the door when he got inside. You two made quick work of getting up the stairs, however halfway through the front door opened. Marcella's mom came in with groceries. You went limp and Andy stuffed the leaves in his overalls before going limp as well. It took a couple of trips, you had to make headway up the stairs as Marcellas mom went to the car to get more bags. Everytime she would come in and walk back out, you two would go limp just in case. After she was done, the two of you were out of eyeshot enough for you both to book it back to the nursery.
Ann was the first one to notice and then Babette who was trying to show Ann how to play cat's cradle. "Andy, y/n!" She said, running to you both. Andy was in the middle of getting the leaves out of his overalls when his sister came over. "How was the trip?"
You smiled. "For the most part it was good, but then there was a moth and it made me scared. But Andy saved me so I'm okay now."
"Leave it to her to be not scared of a slug, but scream at a moth." Andy said, taking the last leaf out to hand to you.
"You brought leaves!" Topsy said from the other side of the room. "Ooh, they're so pretty too." Everyone came over, looking at what the pair brought with them. You smiled, you didn't expect the other toys to be so interested in your silly quest. "I never had the chance to go outside, I always wanted a leaf from autumn because of the colors." You explained to the group.
"I think this one is my favorite." Ann said, holding up a great big leaf.
"You can have it!" You said, seeing how her eyes lit up at the colors. It was dark red with splotches of orange, it was already hers the minute her eyes laid on it.
"Really?" She asked and you nodded.
"Of course!" You said, handing it to her.
"Oh thank you, y/n." She said before giving you a hug with the leaf in hand.
After everyone had their fun with the leaves, you were left with one for yourself. It was the prettiest one in your opinion. You looked around, trying to find Andy to thank him when you spotted him. He beckoned you and you ran toward him. You were making good headway until you fell down on your face, your entire body losing all stability
You heard a patter of cloth feet on the wood and you were lifted up by your arms. "Aw, y/n," He said with a warm laugh.
"Sorry, I got too excited." You giggled.
"It's alright." He said. You were able to get on your feet again and you held onto his forearms.
"Okay, I'm ready now." You said. Andy walked you over to the closet, although Marcella rarely put you in here you enjoyed how quiet it was. "Hey Andy?" You said, making him jump. "Thanks for coming with me today."
"Of course." He said. "There's something I want to tell you."
Before you could ask, he planted a kiss on your cheek and wrapped you in his arms. "I really like you, y/n."
You could feel your entire face burn up, you hid your face, trying to calm it down. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"I wanted to tell you that I liked you." You mumbled in your hands.
"What was that?" He asked in a sing-song voice, taking one of your hands from your face and into his.
"I-I," You clammed up, suddenly losing your voice. "I like you too." You said, barely above a whisper.
"You're gonna have to speak up, y/n." He said, he cupped his ear with a hand.
"Andy," You whined, dragging out the last letter.
"What? I only wanna be sure I heard right." He said, his smirk mischievous.
You blinked, realizing what he said. "Andy!" You said, batting his shoulder before hiding your face in the crook of his neck.
Andy chuckled warmly, he held you back and kissed your crown. "Now I get to do that all day." He said with a snicker.
"You'd do that even in front of the other toys?" You asked, your button eyes wide.
"Well yeah, you're my girl now." Andy said, a hand on your yarn hair. "If you want it, you got it sweetie."
"Andrew, you're so sweet." You said, wrapping your arms around him even tighter than before.

Uncanny Excess-Chapter 2: Become Human
https://archiveofourown.org/works/65418583/chapters/168559930
TW: verbal harassment, mild language, mild violence and blood :P
A/N: also disclaimer going forward!! be forewarned that all throughout this fic I will be taking insane amounts of canon-diverging creative liberties. Also I’ve never been to Detroit, I quite literally googled “downtown Detroit street names” so any Michiganders out there, I’m sorry. I write this stuff for fun and for free so I’m gonna do what I want with it. Okay luv y’all enjoy :3
TEN MONTHS LATER:
“Lieutenant, this is your new partner, Detective Stern.” Fowler slapped said detective on the back a little harder than strictly necessary, and he stumbled a step forward in Hank’s direction.
If Hank were asked to describe the bright-eyed kid in front of him in a single word, he’d be forced to go with dorky. The kid’s immaculate manner of dress—from the woolen peacoat over a spotless white oxford to the dark leather dress shoes it looked like he shined every morning—made Hank feel unusually self-conscious in his raggedy old coat and wrinkled jeans. And, to be frank, the last thing Hank had expected when he was dragged into Fowler’s office upon his arrival was a new partner.
”You can call me Connor. It’s nice to meet you, Lieutenant,” the rookie—Connor—piped, offering his hand.
Hank shook it begrudgingly. “Whatever, kid, just don’t screw up my work.”
”What work?” Fowler asked gruffly. “You never do a damn thing I ask.”
“I could,” Hank grumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose. It was too early in the morning and he was too hungover for this.
Fowler just shook his head. “Anyway, you two are assigned with the onslaught of property damage reports we keep getting. Stacks and stacks of ‘em, all related to busted-up androids.”
A muscle in Connor’s jaw twitched, and Hank figured the kid had probably been hoping for something more interesting as his first case. His new partner stood with his hands politely behind his back and perfect posture, nothing besides that one little movement implying any sort of emotion towards their assignment at all. Hank wasn’t exactly pleased, himself.
“Oh, hell no! You stick me with a rookie and then I have to ‘investigate’ those blue blood bastards getting beat to a pulp?!” Hank shouted.
“Come on, Hank. It’s a whole series of vandalism throughout the city, just like break-ins or thefts. I’m not asking you to petition to deem them as assaults.”
”Maybe the assholes had it coming, Jeffrey, you ever think of that? That group of them has been a pain in the ass for everyone recently.”
Hank looked to Connor, hoping that his new partner would at least share the sentiment and back him up. This couldn’t have been an ideal assignment for him either. Hank was self-aware enough to know he’d be a shit partner, and the case was hardly anything difficult, he assumed it was just a bunch of dumbass teens vandalizing stuff like they always did. But Connor’s only reaction was a slight furrow in his brow, and Hank thought that if the kid clamped his jaw any tighter, he’d snap one of his pearly white teeth.
“Listen. I don’t care how you feel about the case. I just need it solved, or you’ll be out of a job.”
Hank could have gone further, would have gone further, if Connor hadn’t spoken first. “You can leave it to us, Captain.”
Fowler looked to Connor. “I’ve heard promising things about you, Stern. You rocketed through the ranks faster than anyone else in the history of this department. Don’t disappoint me.”
Connor nodded. “Yes sir.”
”Get out of my office, both of you. It wouldn’t kill you to do some work for once, Anderson.”
Connor, ever eager to please, was quick to the door, and as Hank followed him out, he gave Fowler a certain rude gesture, courtesy of his middle finger.
By the time Hank had shut Fowler’s door following his indignant shout, an entirely different kind of commotion was occurring in the bullpen. Hank didn’t exactly like the kid, but watching Connor stand with his hands held up placatingly as he struggled to pacify Reed—who was shouting at him—did make him feel something like sympathy. Hank knew better than to wonder what Connor had already done to upset Gavin, but knowing the latter, anything could have set him off, including Connor’s tendency to exist.
“I don’t know who you think you are, but you sure as hell don’t have any right to get in my way,” Reed snarled.
Connor’s voice was calm as he replied, though his expression was nothing short of bewildered. “I apologize, Detective Reed, I’ll pay more attention to where I’m going in the future.”
That was the wrong thing to say. In one fell swoop, Reed shoved Connor against the wall and pinned him there with his forearm. Connor grunted at the initial impact, his skull cracking against the wall, but didn’t fight back.
”Are you mocking me, rookie? Because if you are, I’ll make sure you get stuck on tin-can duty for the rest of your life.”
Connor managed to tilt his head in confusion, even with Gavin’s ulna against his throat. “Tin-can duty?”
He scoffed. “Yeah. You’ll never make it out of all those stupid, waste-of-time android cases.”
Connor’s face darkened at that, giving Reed such a malicious look that even Hank had to admit was kind of intimidating. Connor must be a sympathizer. Hank huffed as he realized that must be the real reason for Connor being on this case. Of course his new partner had to side with the cold, unfeeling monsters that had killed his son.
”Reed!” Fowler’s voice boomed from across the room. Gavin turned, stepping away from Connor, although not before slamming him hard into the wall for a second time.
As soon as Gavin was away from him and being thoroughly chewed out by the police chief, Connor exhaled, perfect posture slumping as some of the tension left his frame. He tried to ignore all the eyes on him as he smoothed his collar and straightened his tie, the familiar movement comforting. He sank into his desk chair, grateful that he had turned off his blushing software, and only after everyone turned away did he finally bring a hand to the back of his head. He hadn’t received any thirium loss warnings, but the lingering effects of the momentary jostle to his gyroscope wasn’t exactly pleasant.
Connor logged into the computer in front of him, like a human would, though his instinct was to interface with it. He tried not to think about how Fowler had phrased the string of assaults as “property damage,” Hank’s outrage at being assigned the case, or the entire ordeal with Detective Reed. He was failing spectacularly. He knew the situation between androids and humans were tense from the news articles he was able to pull from the internet, and from his six months speeding through the police academy, but the three back-to-back incidents in the DPD before 11 a.m. wasn’t exactly what he had been expecting.
Some of his frustration must have shown on his face, because when Connor glanced up following a sudden feeling of being watched, his eyes met Hank’s.
”You okay?”
”Just fine, Lieutenant, thank you.” Connor hoped there wouldn’t be any follow-up questions.
”Listen, don’t worry about Reed. He’s an ass.”
”I am not worried about Detective Reed.”
Hank cocked an eyebrow. “Right. Well, if it’s a quiet morning, how about we take an early lunch?”
”Shouldn’t we be spending our time on this case? These files are somewhat more complex than what I was anticipating.” Page after page was filled with gruesome photos and descriptions that made Connor’s artificial stomach turn. The longer they took on solving this case, the more of his people that could be hurt and killed. But, of course, he couldn’t tell Hank that.
“The files aren’t goin’ anywhere. Besides, they’re not murders. Property damage can wait.”
Connor swallowed down the defense clawing its way up his throat. “I know, it’s just that—“
He was interrupted by the obnoxious ring of the phone in his pocket. There were so many things he had acquired to keep up appearances—the watch on his right wrist, the metal water bottle on his desk, the light blue coffee mug in the department’s kitchen, and finally, the smartphone he was holding to his ear—even though he had an internal clock, didn’t require hydration the way humans did, and had the capacity to answer and dial calls from his CPU. Admittedly, it was all somewhat annoying to have to keep up with, and he was beginning to understand how humans were always losing seemingly important items.
”Detective Stern, DPD,” he answered as he glanced back at Hank, who hadn’t even bothered to feign interest in the call. “Uh-huh. Right. We’ll be right there.”
As Connor hung up the phone, he could feel Hank’s eyes on him again. “Looks like you won’t get the slow morning you wanted, Lieutenant. We’re needed on West Lafayette.”
————————
Connor stood deep in thought in the midst of the crime scene. A mangled android lay sprawled unnaturally across the pavement of the alleyway, thirium staining much of the surrounding area. He could tell, with his superior vision, that the stains had been much larger, but had started evaporating. However, from Hank’s reaction, a lot of the thirium was still visible to the human eye.
“Well, whoever called it in must have either been a bystander or happened upon the scene shortly after the crime,” Connor relayed as he knelt next to the android, digging out the latex gloves in his coat pocket and pulling them over his hands. He didn’t have fingerprints to leave, but the last thing he wanted was to be accused of tampering with a crime scene.
“How can you tell?” Hank asked, grimacing as Connor gingerly titled the android’s head to get a look at its LED.
“Thirium evaporates after a few hours.”
”What?”
“Y’know, ‘blue blood.’” Connor lifted his hands away from the android momentarily to punctuate the phrase with air quotes. He turned his attention back to the android. He couldn’t be completely sure of its model without a test of its thirium, but he couldn’t exactly use his built-in forensics lab with Hank watching. He settled for using his visual scanners, tipping the android this way and that intermittently so it would look like he came to the conclusion by observation and not the database supplied by his processors.
He glanced over his shoulder quickly, finding Hank preoccupied with lamely nudging a crumpled tin can with his foot, and the cops at the other end of the alleyway engrossed in conversation. Quickly, he dabbed his first two fingers of his right hand in the rapidly-evaporating thirium and lifted them to his mouth, swiping the substance on his tongue. He pulled his hand away from his mouth as fast as possible and clamped his jaw shut, pretending to study the remnants of the substance on his glove as the analysis scrolled across his vision.
Aha. “An AX700.”
”English, Stern.”
”She’s a model designed to be a housekeeper.”
”’She?’”
”’It,’ whatever,” Connor conceded, although it sent a pang of guilt through his chest. “Regardless, this is a domestic android. When we get back to the precinct, I’ll take a look at the files and see if the same model has been reported as stolen recently.” Connor’s database told him this android had, in fact, been recently reported missing, but he’d have to go about this the agonizingly slow human way.
“Okay, well, let’s get goin’, then. I’m freezing my ass off.”
Connor stood, peeling off the latex gloves before dusting off the knees of his dark wash jeans. “Yes, Lieutenant.”

He would be taken to a junkyard. I couldn’t just watch him be thrown away. A perfectly good android like him would be a crime to waste away and rust.
Sure, he was covered in oil. Some of his pieces weren’t properly screwed on, and he definitely needed new clothes and his hair brushed; but, it was nothing a little elbow-grease and effort couldn’t handle.
So of course I took him home.
🎃
It took plenty of time to get him into actual working order, but once I finished, I was glad I chose to rescue him. He was gorgeous. Not only was he physically beautiful, but his hardware was extremely high quality and mostly fully functional. I had fine-tuned any bits that seemed off, but overall, he seemed to be perfect.
I took pride in my passion projects, and he would be no different. Sadly, I hadn’t had time to boot him up, but patience is a virtue.
But finally, I had time.
He stood before me, five-foot-ten of wires, metal, and artificial skin. His hair was softer than mine, and he had facial features to die for. I turned him on, but it seemed to take longer than it should, and I wondered if I wasn’t as good at robotics as I thought.
His eyes flashed with the standard blue bootup before settling into a realistic humanoid version of eyes. The color was a deep, rich brown that was easy to get lost in. His head slowly lifted up until he stared straight ahead. And then he was still, waiting.
🎃
It took some getting used to. I had lived with roommates before, but an android was not the same. He was much quieter when moving around and was not a great conversationalist. He was a great listener though.
But something else was different about him. He seemed rather clingy for a being that was supposed to be without emotions or attachments. Maybe it didn’t help that I had named him… Maybe androids are like pets, and if you name them then you’re doomed to be attached. But I couldn’t help myself.
I refused to walk around referring to him as “android” or “robot” or anything else of the sort. So I named him Taehyung, and he seemed to like it if the tiny upturn of his lips was any indication. Then I worked on helping him with new slang, tweaking his vocabulary and speech to sound more human-like.
But that still didn’t explain the touchiness. It started out with him occasionally laying a hand on my shoulder. Then, he began sitting closer to me when I relaxed in my living space, and he would brush his hand along my back when he passed by me in the kitchen. Eventually, he worked all the way up to resting his hand on my thigh, hugging me from behind, and petting my head.
He was acting like a lover would despite me never asking that of him. I had never seen such behavior in an android before, but I couldn’t deny that it was getting to me. I don’t know what he was trying to accomplish, but if he continued to act that way for much longer then I’d likely let him get away with whatever he desired.
🎃
“Why do you never use me for my purpose?” He finally asked me one night. It was rare that he spoke, let alone without me addressing him first.
“Your… purpose?” I stared up at him from my place on the couch, cross-legged and comfortable in my raggedy sweats and oversized tee. He moved to kneel in front of me, placing his hands gently on either of my knees.
“I was originally created as an android for sexual pleasure.” The words were monotone, but they still managed to send shockwaves through my stomach, settling in the pit of my abdomen and leaving behind an uncomfortable warmth. He had to know how attractive he was—how attracted I am to him. “I heard them say they were going to throw me away because something malfunctioned in my system code, but I can still serve my purpose. I know I can; I just need to prove it.”
“Taehyung…” I began to speak; but, one of his hands tightened ever so slightly, and he peered up at me through his lashes in a way that rendered me speechless.
“Y/N. Let me prove myself worthy of the care you gave me. I need to show you that I am not a useless hunk of metal. I was programmed to provide pleasure for my owner, and I’ve been trying to get you to initiate. However, you have seemed uninterested in my capabilities.” I stared at him in shock, quite unsure how to respond.
Apparently no response was close enough to non-refusal in his eyes, because the next minute his lips were capturing my own. He kissed well, with sensuality and care, and it became quickly obvious that this was indeed his “purpose.”
Taehyung kissed with the perfect balance between firm and gentle—not too slow or fast—and since he didn’t need to breathe himself, he monitored my breaths in order to give me time to catch my own breath.
If kissing him was that magnificent then I couldn’t imagine what fucking him would be like.
His hands slid from their place on my knees and he uncrossed my legs, draping them over his shoulders. He drew the left leg of my pants up and pressed wet, warm kisses up the length of my calf before he repeated the action on the other side. His fingers slid slowly up the inner seam of the sweats until they caught on a couple holes in the thighs—worn down from rubbing together for so long.
Taehyung easily wiggled his fingers into the holes, despite the fabrics protest, and then he promptly ripped the crotch of my sweats away. I could feel myself clench at the action, which he caught of course.
My panties were no match either, which was not surprising after the beating my old sweats took. He stared at my cunt with a hunger in his eyes that shouldn’t be possible for an android. Or maybe I imagined it in the haze of my arousal. Regardless, he didn’t hold back for much longer.
His tongue swiped through my folds, eagerly stealing away the wetness he was to blame for. His lips attached to my clit shortly after, and my back lifted from the couch in response.
He sucked at the button, rolling his tongue around it several times, before pulling away and grazing it with his teeth. My hips bucked forward into his face at the pleasure, and I expected to be pinned to the couch for doing so. Instead, he smirked up at me and dove right in.
His tongue penetrated me, licking along the walls of my insides. His hands squeezed at the flesh of my thighs, pinching at spots that he knew were sensitive. I wouldn’t last much longer at this rate and he knew it.
His right hand slid higher, joining his face to meet my pussy. His thumb rubbed slow and steady circles against my clit, teasing, as he pulled his face away from my hole. I assumed he was going to move on to fingering me, but again he surprised me. He blew cold air directly into me, causing me to clench and squirm at the temperature change. I was too sensitive, but I didn’t dare ask him to stop. I only wanted more.
His mouth connected with my pussy again; his tongue reaching impossibly deeper and curling against the spot I needed most. At the same time, his thumb increased in both speed and pressure until I felt my toes curl against his back.
My hips were lifting off the couch and one of my hands flew to fist at the curls atop his perfect head. My vision went white and dotted with black stars. Never in my life had I orgasmed so hard, so perfectly.
He pulled away when he sensed I was becoming overstimulated, and I could tell he was waiting for a performance review. I could only pant up at my ceiling, still coming down from my high.
“If it wasn’t satisfactory, I could show you some of the other things I am programmed to do.”
“Oh trust me, we’ll be going through all of your capabilities, Tae.”

idea I had for older Jenny: Nora finally got a working (read: human to Jenny's taste, and not evil) exosuit working. Though she mostly just uses it to sneak into places that still hate robots.
Intended as a mix of various "older Jenny" designs I've made and the Return of Raggedy Android look, with it intended to look more like Robot Jenny than the latter did.

So I recently started watching "My Life as a Teenage Robot" and needed to draw Jenny in the different styles we see. The top one is Hot Rod Jenny from The Great Unwashed, the bottom one is Human Jenny from The Return of Raggedy Android, and the middle one is normal Jenny
