I agree with you that Lily has Luz's character wrong (and is saying narcissist as a bad thing which is ableist) but as someone with NPD who hcs Luz as also developing it her self sacrificing can absolutely be an act of narcissism (which isn't a bad thing, at least not inherently)

Luz is a people pleaser and that's a huge part of her struggle but narcissistic personality disorder can co exist with being a people pleaser because it doesn't actually equal selfishness.

People with NPD have high egos but low self-esteem. The idea is that due to trauma/environmental conditioning they center themselves in everything it's a survival tactic.

Luz has grown up isolated from her peers and coping with the grief of losing her dad + fear of disappointing her mom by losing herself in fiction. She goes into the Boiling Isles not taking it super seriously because it's like a fun isekai to her and on some level she knows she's the main character. She's lost the ability to really view the world any differently than that. She's Azura and she's the main character.

When things don't go the way they're supposed to, she blames those failures on herself because she's holding herself to the standards of a fictional protagonist. She's read plenty of self insert fan fiction and watched lots of isekai anime she's supposed to be overpowered and predestined and be a step ahead of everyone because she's so cool and meta and when she isn't she doesn't challenge that delusion so much as she does double down and shame herself.

What really stands out to me as grounds for my NPD hc as opposed to just being her autism is her s1 struggle to treat people like real people and not characters. She means well, she's a little sweetheart and wants to get an A in friendship but she also wants everyone's backstories and to be the main character in their life that fixes everything for them. This mainly shows with how she initially ignores a lot of Willow's boundaries like in Understanding Willow and Wing It Like Witches. She cares deeply about her friends but her world up until now has been her as the only "real person" (subconsciously) and everyone else as characters because fiction is what taught her what friendship is and how relationships work.

She starts unlearning this in season 2 though. Hunting the selkidomus is a bad idea and won't redeam her to Eda/she couldn't do that mission alone.

She can't win over Amity's parents or be the one to save her friend's futures all by herself.

King has thoughts and feelings and a past that he doesn't understand and that she isn't a part of, and all she can really do is listen and stand by him through it.

She can't cure Eda and maybe Eda doesn't even need curing, this isn't about her and it isn't about her unprocessed grief over her dad that (understandably) influences the way she responds to Eda's curse.

She affects Amity in nuanced ways and also her actions can lead to the same kinds of problems she tried to leave behind on earth.

Hunter isn't her quirky rival she can fix, he's the golden guard.

Amity loves her for reasons other than her being cool and the main character/wants to have a mundane and cute relationship where Luz doesn't have to hold herself to unhealthy standards.

Camila even points out that her initial decision to leave (while understandable) had more consequences than she realized and she can't just live out a fantasy.

All of these things chip at her ego but she's 14 and doesn't have a therapist her knowledge of mental health is not great enough for her to connect with people who have the same struggles and can help ground her.

So rather than realizing that she's a real person, she just has a narc crash and by the end of kings tide her self esteem plummets and she starts to mentally remove herself from equations completely. The overconfident high she was riding in s1 has officially crashed and she's forced to deal with the weight of reality for the first time since she's really ran from it.

I like Luz as a narcissist (or well she's a little young to have fully developed NPD but narcissistic tendencies at least) because her character arc is a positive one where she learns to love herself and to except her failures while also abandoning delusions about destiny and because she's in a lot of ways a deconstructed main character.

Anyway her sacrificing herself to save her friends depends on when in specific but in Clouds on the horizon/King's tide it's both a genuine attempt to save her friends and a form of redemption where she doesn't have to live to see the consequences. Even incredibly selfless acts still have some level of selfishness in them and that's alright. I wouldn't think the latter part quite so much if season 3 didn't double down that her self-sacrificing is coming from a depressed place and isn't really healthy, which I think is really interesting.

Lily calling Luz a "narcissist" for trying to sacrafice herself to get protect her friends and get Eda is one of the most bizzare media takes I've seen from her. For one, the deffinition of a narcissist is "a person who has an excessive interest in or admiration of themselves.", Luz trying to sacrafice herself to save her friends is a fairly selfless act and not narcissistic in the slightest.

Second, Lily seems to miss the point here. The reason why Luz is doing this is because Luz is someone who puts others before herself; she's heavily self-sacraficial. There's a really good video by a youtuber called TheLovelyLiz that does a really good job at disecting the depths of Luz as a character, but one the main points that it makes is that Luz is a people pleaser, how she puts others before herself to an almost destructive degree. This is what she's doing in this scene; it's an established trait she's always had. But Lily's too media illeterate to see that, now is she?

I just loved these cut villains, one whose design def seemed like it was given to raine when they got cut. (I wonder if the color palette was similar, but we don't have a reference to that so idk)

Thoughts on the cut episode below:

An episode where king and owlbert of all characters bond is kinda neat, especially since it provides owlbert himself a bit more character here.

The opening is def far different from any of the final ones we ever see in the series, in fact it feels like it should be taking place during the episode but it can't be given we see hooty from being sick to not being sick in pretty chronological order?

A focus on the healing coven was nice to see, especially since we never got that in the show itself, and get some idea of their powerset and what they do magic wise.

So Manny was an ambulance driver, and Camila was a nurse in this. People originally assumed camila was a nurse when the show started, and it makes me wonder if that was changed between seasons at some point cause clearly the crew decided to change her profession and it's unclear why.

you can use your palisman as a communicator? and an umbrella? I do think it's so weird that even at the very end of the show, they establish brand new rules for palisman. Like them being able to shapeshift into objects is straight up not explained and just sorta....happens in the show, like i feel like hunter would have no issue hiding flap if this is a thing. (It also kinda makes stringbean's ability slightly less unique) Like this is displayed in these boards, but they kept it even in the show itself, and i think palisman might need a proper rulebook.

On that same note, owlbert uses magic in this board, like we kinda knew palisman could do some magic without a witch, but this is the only time we've seen one use it to fight another witch that wasn't the batqueen. Like owlbert tries to full on blast people in this. I don't know if removing this episode makes this ability less canon in the world itself since they still can do magic in the show, it's just worth noting that palisman, according to this board, CAN fight back, even if they're not incredibly strong it seems. Certainly the kinda thing that makes you think on other episodes tbh.

This episode also brings up the idea that eda actually CAN and DOES bring human food to the BI, which never happens in the show, in fact luz implies she gets to eat very little options there, so this idea seems no longer canon?

The demon hunters at one point don't even seem to recognize owlbert as a palisman, which does not entirely make sense given they seem to be mostly common to the townsfolk, so I'm kinda glad for that plot hole being gone.

Caduceia makes it out like the emperor's coven forced her to teach? and she thought handing over a house demon to belos would get her out of teaching as if it were some kinda punishment or job she was made to do? I have questions

side note, house demons are called rare in this, like they're not common, not sure if this still applies in the final show, but yeah.

there's some very sweet moments in this with luz and eda especially, but also some funny moments, and some jokes that land a little less....i don't think we needed Caduceia to be kissing her snake like that from that angle, even if it was meant to be a little uncomfortable.

one reason i think this episode did get cut? we got a glyph in this

a healing glyph, which has some ties to water based on it's symbol

i'm guessing since they kept the main glyphs element based, a healing glyph would of stuck out and been a bit weird. Like it just heals people, it doesn't produce water despite looking close to the alchemy symbol for water, and well....we already got ice so this would be redundent.

so yeah, this episode introduced a new glyph that saved them in the end so it would of come back in future episodes, but to keep it simple that would mean cutting the entire episode as a whole just to keep the four.

Since they enjoyed Caduceia's design so much, they must've repurposed it for raine somewhere down the line.

Since it’s the last day of black history month can you share some Darius headcannons?

Of course

Darius is the type of autistic to need everything to be done in a precise way and hates the feeling of certain touches (despite literally being part abomination goo monster)

His palisman is that tiny goo monster

He has two mothers

Darius was a lot more easygoing and friendly when he was younger but as an adult, became a lot more strict and cold (more "tsundere" like), as a result of losing so many people close to him

He's known the Clawthorne sisters since they were in Kindergarten but they weren't really friends

He used to be best friends with Odalia since they were little kids and had the same girly interests. Darius had a better doll collection than her which Odalia was totally jealous of

To this day Darius swears that she stole some of his dolls but never called her out for it at the time in order to keep the peace between them

As they got older Odalia started judging Darius for having childish interests, along with how she would talk about other people made Darius be less close to her but still kept her around because they'd been best friends for so long

Darius met Alador in their Abomination classes, and despite both of them having different approaches when it comes to handling abominations, they became best friends

Darius admired how genuine Alador was and how fascinated he was by things Darius would normally overlook, how he wasn't the type to judge others and didn't care about what others thought about him (for better or for worse)

When they were younger, Darius would "jokingly" flirt with Alador by showering him with compliments because he genuinely found him cute (something he would never do now)

Darius introduced Alador to Odalia and the three became a trio, little did Darius know that this would lead Alador and Odalia to start dating

When Raine transferred to Hexide, they and Darius had to spend a lot of time together in the theater department. They initially clashed and argued a lot but grew to respect each other and even became friends (basically the opposite of his relationship with Alador)

As Darius grew closer to Raine, he also became friends with Eda and Lilith. He often acted as a wingman to Raine because he loves romance, and would talk shit with Lilith

Alador also became friends with Eda's group by association until he and Darius fell out with each other. Darius basically kept all their friends after the "break up" except Odalia who of course sided with Alador being his girlfriend

Even though Darius wouldn't admit it, it hurt losing both of his first best friends at the same time

After Hexide, Darius cut off Alador and Odalia completely, but still kept in touch with Raine and Eda from time to time (before their breakup)

He WAS actually close to Lilith, especially as he drifted apart from Alador and Lilith drifted apart from Eda. As coven heads, they were still on somewhat friendly terms but just weren't the same as before. After defeating Belos the two went back to being gossip buddies

Darius saw the former Golden Gaurd as a father figure

Despite always being annoyed by Eberwolf, he feels comforted by having someone who's always by his side (literally) and will never leave him (also literally)

Despite always annoying Darius, Eberwolf acts as both his support system and guarddog

Darius was briefly in a relationship with Adrian Grey, it ended badly and he doesn't like to talk about it

After warning Raine about Terra and forming the rebellion, Darius would often keep an eye on how Terra acts around them despite Raine claiming they're fine

Even while planning the rebellion, Darius, Raine, and Eberwolf would still go out drinking. They claim it's to ease nerves and to not act suspiciously. They're bffs now cause that kinda thing bonds you for life

Still kinda plays as a wingman to Raine but now he's getting really tired of Raine's lover woes and just wants Raine and Eda to get together already

Lowkey? Finds Raine attractive, and wouldn't mind being their rebound. Or third.

After defeating Belos, Darius has to work with Alador to restore the Boiling Isles. Even though he hates the thought of doing so, being one of the new leaders he decides to be mature and do what's best for the residents. But still throws a few insults here and there, also Eber growls at Alador

Eventually, he tries to help Alador improve himself for the sake of his kids. The two become closer, and maybe something happens

I've seen a lot of cute names for potential reada babies but imagine the hilarity of the trial and error it actually took for Raine and Eda to get to the right name

Eda probably would have suggested using her old fake ID, Marilyn, bc hey, it's the only "Lyn" name she can think of and her mother won't stop nagging about continuing the tradition-

And then there's the obligatory cycling through the super boring, traditional names, Jane, Charlie, Meabh-

Raine suggesting all the instrument/music names they can think of (there was probably a very risky 24 hours where Clairinet or Zyla-phone were on the list before they had enough clarity to see the light on that one-)

Eda's suggestions would definitely lean towards the more... unique.

Her previous record on the naming children front are "Owlbert" and "King", but Raine loves everything about Eda and they match her freak waaay too well so honestly the Jury's out on if they'd even try to stop her from naming their kid something absolutely tragic like Arson or Batthony, or if they'd call her a genius and ask to marry her again.

All of the names in TOH have a reason/origin/pun (ei. witch "Hunter"), and there's so many to discuss (many of which have been) but I wanted to share thoughts on Edalyn/Evelyn, Darius, and Raine's names that I haven't heard before. Edalyn doesn't have a direct meaning, it's a combination of Edith and Evelyn (which means desired, island). Evelyn's name is pretty intentional, she and Eda represent the Isles in some aspects ("Goodbye, Evelyn" being a line that's both trying to end Evelyn's legacy and also is said similarly to how Belos says "Goodbye, Boiling Isles" the episode before, the portal door having the Titan's eye on it too, Eda connecting to nature and having a good relationship with the Isles/ enough that the Isles trusts her to protect King). "Eda" as a first name is super popular in Turkey and means expression. Darius's name can mean "to possess wealth", but the Persian origin is "Holding Firm the Good", or to "possesses goodness" which is very dear to me as he's one of the (secret) rebel leaders, and also very much intended to be a play on Disney's queer-coded villain tropes.

Rain is a pretty big motif in the Owl House starting with "the Intruder" where the main trio get trapped inside the owl house due to the rain and Luz discovers her first glyph, to the series finale where Belos gets killed partially by the boiling rain (and the non-boiling Raine). Belos likes the rain in the human realm, it rains when Camila and Luz talk in "Yesterday's Lie", and it rains at the end of "King's Tide". All of these moments come together to create their own meaning with Raine, which I think is lovely. Raine is also called "Rainestorm" by Eda which is adorable and accurate (Raine can summon lightning as well).

Any headcanons for toh?

Oooooh. I have several, including an entire section dedicated to my love of the terrible Blight family dynamics. Here we go:

Luz and Gus both love Hamilton. Amity does not love Hamilton, but she tolerates it.

Amity's music taste is either 'the softest, lightest, saddest pop music' or 'heavy metal'. all happy songs on her playlist were added because she associates them with Luz or her friends, not because she listens to them.

Luz is convinced that Elvis is alive somewhere on the Boiling Isles.

All of the Hexsquad are the type to call each other in the middle of the night because an idea occurred to them. it's usually Willow who ends up being called.

Willow has tried--and failed--to understand the hype with either The Good Witch Azura or Cosmic Frontier. She however does know so much lore about both, and is so good at pretending, that her friends have yet to figure out that she doesn't care about their fandoms beyond 'you're really happy talking about it'.

Edric and Emira see Gus as their unofficial little brother

Darius makes Willow's wedding dress, when she gets married.

When Hunter and Willow get married, Gus is a combination of best man/man of honour and Luz is a combination maid of honour/best woman. Amity's just a bridesmaid, but her feelings are unhurt by this.

Hooty writes terrible RPF

Lilith likes Raine just fine but she will not let them know this.

Luz and Gus will corner Hunter at some stage and be like 'listen, we know you like Willow. If you're going to date her you have to treat her like a princess. Spare no expense, leave no stone unturned. when you ask her to Grom you must do a big romantic gesture."

Willow does not like big romantic gestures nearly as much as Luz and Gus do.

Gus helps Luz and Amity plan their big dramatic Gromposals, so that they both ask at the same time, with equally massive fanfare.

Amity is not naturally a big romantic gestures person, but Luz is, so she has adapted to a big romantic gestures person.

Eventually Gus and Luz will figure out that neither Hunter or Willow are 'big romantic gestures' people. it will take too long for them to figure this out.

Camila and Darius are appreciative of each other for raising Hunter. Beyond that, they don't actually mesh all that well. She doesn't understand his dramatics.

Darius is occasionally prone to calling Raine and Eberwolf in the middle of the night to drag them on sidequests.

Back when Lilith was head of the Emperor's Coven, Eda used to go to wherever the coven heads would meet, and she'd sit under the window with a boombox and blast the Boiling Isles equivalent of 'You May Be Right' and 'Everybody Loves Me Baby'. This stopped after Lilith left the Emperor's Coven, but a little while later, Scooter Crane resigned, Raine Whispers ascended to head of the bard coven, and Eda and her boombox returned.

When Hunter starts attending Hexside, he isn't sure what he wants to study, and with the track system being far more flexible--and him being very traumatized and not very well-socialised--Principal Bump lets him have a blank schedule and go to whichever classes whenever. This often ends up with him spending much of the day in Plants, where it's peaceful. or at least he says it's because it's peaceful.

Grimwalker physiology is pretty similar to witch and human physiology, however it has some strange and inexplicable quirks. One of these things is a complete and utter lack of a detectable heartbeat.

Eda and co. would not all have survived high school without Raine there to keep the peace, and rein in the more stupid ideas.

Also, my incessant headcanons about the Blight family:

Odalia's family used to be one of Bonesborough's richest and most eminent families, however either thanks to a bad business deal or a scandal they lost most of their fortune and repute while Odalia was a child, and by the time she started Hexside, she's been living in genteel poverty for years. This has given her high-class trappings, memories of having wealth, and a desperation to regain it.

Darius was the one to originally introduce Odalia and Alador. he eventually regretted this.

Odalia wasn't always a terrible person. She was always unscrupulous, sharp-tongued and a social climber, but she is also capable of genuine pleasantness.

Odalia and Alador once did like each other--or at the very least were attracted to each other originally. This soured over years of an unsuccessful marriage.

Alador is most definitely autistic. and also undiagnosed. among the things he finds overstimulating are a) children and b) Odalia when she's in a bad mood.

so when Amity was born and suddenly there was a crying baby, two chaos twins, and a very irritable post-partum Odalia, Alador's response was 'spend as little time in the house as possible.'

This is about when any last love between Odalia and Alador left the marriage.

Amity is unambiguously the favourite child. not that this gets her preferential treatment from her parents, but it does foster resentment among her siblings.

Alador just...gives them their inheritance when they asked for it. Amity put hers into saving, Emira uses it to be the hot rich single aunty to her nieces and nephews, and Edric spent his all at once on something like a waterslide for his house.

Edric needs budgeting lessons ASAP. he's not very good at it.

Post-divorce the twins joke incessantly about the fact that their mother is in jail.

I've seen a lot of people saying that Belos would have been better off being a character on another show and that Owl House didn't deserve him, but I've never seen people regret that Owl House doesn't belong to a channel with an older audience, like Adult Swim. Think about it. I love Disney for all the things that other people love and hate about it, but their main audience is children. Of course, everyone's favorite Alex Hirsch, was able to show a LOT of things not for children in Gravity Falls, but basically this show is about a town of humans, where the characters are mostly humans who do human things. Monsters, as part of the plot, appear in only twenty-five percent of the episodes and we know almost nothing about how they live. Boiling Isles is a place in another realm, a giant rotting corpse of an ancient powerful titan inhabited by witches and demons. Boiling rain is pouring from the sky, the oceans are boiling too, creatures like fire bees, spider-spewing griffins, slitherbeasts and hand dragons live all over the corpse. And despite this, witches and sentient demons behave like humans, react to things like humans. For fandom witches are just humans with different ears and magic and practical the same technologies and events and clothes that we have. They have only few things that makes them different from humans. We know that they make pies out of sentient fairies, we saw how Eda ate Adegast, we heard Lilith call Luz Eda's “human pet” and heard Eda say “Witches eating babies is so 1693”, but no one pays attention to it. People mostly discuss how cute Lumity is, or how bad Belos, Odalia, Tibbles and Kikimora are. People prefer to consider the Boiling Isles as some kind of utopia where everything is fine. But it’s boring. At first, the show showed one thing, and then abruptly began to show something completely different. Eda and King said that there is no weather on the Boiling Isles, but we never saw anything but boiling rain. We have never seen plagues, gorenados, shale hail, painbows and knife season.  

It's sad that people forget that Boiling Isles is a completely different world. It's very rare to see fanfiction or comics that take this into account. I have some Belos Redemption AU headcanons touching on this topic, but I have concerns that I won't get an answer. What do you think?

I totally agree with you that the series should have had the witches act and appear more differently than the humans in the show, and about how the Isles isn't a perfect utopia.

Also, I think the Owl House works fine as a show for children / younger and older teens.

Adding to the timeline of Darius and Eberwolf’s rebellion, it’s a fun little detail that right after almost being killed by Eda’s curse, they get a chance to talk with Raine properly and come to an understanding, which leads to the two suggesting the curse as a weapon against the coven; It makes sense, given how it completely negated two coven heads, and I imagine Darius’ Abomination form to be pretty unstoppable until it came across the decays of Archivist magic.

Raine seems to reiterate their refusal to involve Eda, and right after this scene we have Hollow Mind, which deals with the rebels’ attempt to invade Belos’ mindscape. Given Raine is established to pretty pro-murder, I don’t think it was as simple as learning the truth about the draining spell, since they seemed to have already figured it out; We see how damaging a mindscape can damage the individual themselves.

It seems their plan was to just assassinate Belos outright, since he knew the carvings necessary for the ritual. So was this Raine’s idea, a Plan B that they eventually pushed as a Plan A, because better to try taking out Belos ASAP, than let him attempt the draining spell at all, right? And of course this brings me to how the only other time we see a mindscape spell, it’s via Eda…

So did Eda teach it to Raine? After all, the mindscape spell the CATTs pull off seems to involve multiple forms of magic, so it tracks only Eda could do it for those reasons. That’s poetic; Raine using Eda’s magic to save Eda. Alas, it didn’t work out; The CATTs had to bail with Hunter’s presence. Maybe they would’ve succeeded if they’d made it in, or not, if it’s implied that Belos anticipated the attack; If Hunter heard rumors, it’s probable he heard it by eavesdropping on his uncle as Kikimora did.

And as for Luz? At that point, the plan was already a bust; She didn’t ruin anything. But she did put Hunter into the mindscape with her by accident. But as traumatizing as it was, it did inadvertently lead to Hunter’s survival, I suspect; If he didn’t see the truth with his own eyes, he might have realized it too late, and stuck with Belos up until the Day of Unity, and been killed at the skull. Kikimora wouldn’t have brought “Hunter” there herself, so the Hexsquad wouldn’t have followed her there, and thus King could not free the Collector.

In other words: Luz tackling Hunter saved the life of everyone with a sigil. Nice job, kiddo!

And so in a really roundabout way, Raine’s attempt to avoid using Eda to stop the draining spell saved everyone after all, as was Eda just dabbling in that kind of wild magic to begin with! That was one component to that whole outcome; The other was Raine confronting their avoidance by owning up to their mistakes, just as they own up to keeping Eda out of the loop for the sake of her kids, by involving all three. And look how it turned out!

It’s sad, but. It really took a lot of guts and acceptance on Raine’s part to face it head-on, eyes wide and back straight. They could’ve insisted otherwise, but by that point they’d learned their lesson to isolate Eda, after breaking up with her for doing the same to them. Different extenuating circumstances mind you, but it’s just. Wow. Likewise, Eda may have destroyed herself out of self-loathing at first, but this time she really is doing it for the isles, for the wild magic she always loved and defended; It’s how she earned the Bat Queen’s trust.

The first sacrifice was called off because it was done out of self-hatred, this one is done out of love, it’s actually for the kids Eda cares about, and not to cut herself off from them. And if it was those two Raine called it off for, it’s those two Raine lets it go on for.

(I wrote this like almost 2 years ago so it’s weird ik)

-You were friends with Luz and also had to attend to the summer camp where she was headed.

-This means that you also ended up in the boiling isles with her.

-This is when you met Eda the Owl Lady. She was a bit weird at first, but you eventually got use to her.

-She started to treat both you and Luz as her own before the events with the petrifaction.

-She knows that Luz has her mom back in the human realm, but you have never brought up anything about your family.

-Luz doesn’t even know much about it. She has tried to ask you about it before you two came to the boiling isles, but you always ignored her, so she just gave up.

-Eda wasn’t going to though. Now that you were in her care, she was genuinely worried for you. Yknow, those mother instincts.

-You do open up to her eventually though.

-If you don’t have a real family due to some past issues, then she’s more that’s happy to let you live in the owl house for as long as you need to.

-If you have a family but don’t come on best terms with them, then she will gladly be like a second parent to you. Or if you don’t wanna live with them anymore then she’ll just keep you there with her.

-Ever since that ‘chat’, you’ve gotten closer to Eda and actually started to think of her as your actual parent.

-Now I imagine that you’ve accidentally called her mom two or three times before and immediately apologized afterwards. But was only greeted with a ‘it’s alright kid’ from Eda.

-Ever since you got the boiling isles, Luz became more of a sister than a friend. So has King and Hooty.

-Speaking of King, he absolutely loves you! At first he seems like a little gremlin, but he was really sweet! Even if he was still a gremlin.

-You would listen to him speak about Demons whenever Luz or Eda were too busy. You would also fall asleep with him all the time on the coach.

-Eda has many pictures of you and king, and sometimes Luz or Hooty snuggled up on the coach sleeping. No I’m not kidding, she has so much that it scares you.

-Hooty was scary to you at first, but he’s actually a lot of fun to hang around with. Sure, he can be weird, but in a fun way right?

-You, King, and Hooty are a chaotic group. Eda can’t leave you three alone for more than five minutes or you guys would’ve blown up the house.

-One time, you three were having a ‘party’ between the three of you when Eda and Luz ran off to do some errands. Let’s just say you three had A LOT of cleaning to do that night.

-Eda would be quite protective over you. She would be the same for King, Hooty, and Luz too of course, but would be a little more protective over you then the others since she wants you to have a good life in the boiling isles unlike the life you had back home.

-Even though she cracks jokes or teases you, she doesn’t really mean it. So don’t take them to heart. But if you do get upset, she’ll stop and tell you that she’s sorry.

-She’s scared ti let the owl beast loose in front of you. Especially you. She doesn’t want you to be scared and feel like you don’t have a safe space to turn to.

-But once she gets it in control, she is happy to show you her harpy Eda.

-I guess if your sorta Eda’s kid you would also be the niece/nephew of Lilith.

-You didn’t like her at first since you found out she cursed Eda, but you found out that she was actually a pretty decent person.

-You’ve heard Eda talk about somebody named ‘Raine’ before, but never knew much about them.

-Once you joined the ‘C.A.T.T. s’, you finally got to meet them, and you loved them! They were friendly and you could see why Eda had a crush on them.

-Oh that’s right Eda, she thought that you wouldn’t notice her little (or big) crush on Raine.

-If you get stuck on the boiling isles when the Collector is free, then she will do everything in her will to protect you.

-If you went back to the human realm with Luz and her friends, then all she can do is hope you are all safe.

-If you want to move in with her after the events with Belos and the Collector, then she will gladly let you stay.

-But if you want to go home and just visit on a daily basis, then she would be fine with that.

-Since you sorta see her as your mom, you would probably see Raine as a parent figure as well. It would take a while to warm up to each other but all three of you will be like a happy family.

-Overall, Eda would be a great momma bird👍.
