Carlos Sainz 55 he's trying to be a nonchalant guy

Carlos has always considered himself relatively good under pressure. Tire strategy at Spa? No problem. Post- race interviews in three languages? Easy. Surviving the entirety of Drive to Survive with his dignity mostly intact? Doable.  

But apparently, none of those scenarios quite compare to the moment he glances up from his espresso and spots you walking through the paddock like you haven’t just shattered his entire understanding of reality by existing in Monaco, on a Saturday morning, wearing a linen dress and strappy sandals like in the movies he’s seen you in. 

For a brief, horrifying second, he wonders if he’s hallucinating. Maybe he hasn’t slept enough. Maybe someone spiked the hospitality coffee machine. But no- because you’re real, in fact, you’re smiling at someone near the hospitality suite, and you’re wearing Ferrari red. Which, frankly, feels a little unfair. Was it not enough to be gorgeous and globally adored? Did you really have to match his team, too? 

He tries to walk casually past you. He fails. Because you turn. You see him. And then- you smile. 

Carlos short- circuits. Somewhere deep in the recesses of his mind, a little voice is screaming in Spanish that this is not a drill, this is not a simulation, this is his celebrity crush making eye contact and waving. 

And like an idiot- like a boy in school with his name scrawled on a notebook- when you say, “Carlos, right?” 

 He laughs, awkwardly. He never laughs awkwardly. 

 “Depende,” he says, using a smirk to try and cover his panic. Depends. “Are you about to file a complaint or ask for a tour of the garage?” 

 You raise a brow. “Are those my only options? I had a few other requests as well.” 

 Carlos swears, right there, if the FIA were to cancel the entire weekend and declare you to the Grand Prix, he’d happily park his car and never drive again. 

Charles Leclerc 16 this is not a drill

Charles is not easily shaken. He’s been in four- car battles at Silverstone, he's handled the Monaco curse with the quiet pain of a man betrayed by his own hometown, and he’s spoken to British media while heartbroken. But all of that composure is hanging by a thread the moment his assistant walks up and says- far too nonchalantly- “Hey, don’t freak out, but your celebrity crush is at the paddock.” 

He laughs. He does. Because it sounds like a stupid joke, the kind of bait Pierre might use to get him to walk into a prank. But then he hears a nearby PR girl whisper your name, and he looks out the hospitality window, and- mon dieu. 

There you are. Just standing. Talking. Wearing sunglasses and a white silk button- down that’s doing unspeakable things to his central nervous system. You’re not even doing anything that special, just sipping from a glass of iced sparkling water like you’re hydrating for a casual day of stealing souls. 

Charles panics. Silently. With elegance. 

 He thinks to change his shirts three times. Rehearses his opening line in his head. By the time he actually walks over, he’s radiating the specific, manic energy of a man trying to pretend this is all very casual and not at all the beginning of his villain origin story. 

But when you spot him and smile, he’s a goner. 

"Charles,” you say, “you looked good in quali last week.” 

He freezes. He forgets how to thank people. How to form words. 

“I- you- merci. You… also looked… good… in your movie. That I watched. Alone. In the dark. That sounded weird, ignore that part.” 

  You laugh, which somehow makes it worse. Or better. It’s hard to tell. 

  “Would you like to show me around the garage?”  Charles nods, then immediately regrets how aggressively he nods. “Yes. Of course. Oui. Do you- do you want a hat? I can get you a hat. Or a jacket. Or a fireproof suit. Do you want to sit in the car? You can sit in the car.” 

  And just like that, Charles is no longer a racing driver. He’s a man at the mercy of his most embarrassing crush moment, and it’s only Friday. 

Max Verstappen 1 folds like a melting ice-cream

Max has built his identity around not being fazed. He’s dealt with championship pressure, multi- hour debriefs, and Helmut Marko giving unsolicited opinions on his love life, all without blinking. But none of that adequately prepared him for the way his heart genuinely stumbles in his chest when he sees you standing next to the Red Bull garage like you weren’t just voted one of Forbes “most beautiful people alive”.  

He knows your face- of course he does. You’re everywhere. Music videos. Award shows.   And now you’re at the paddock. His paddock. 

You glance his way, and Max looks down at his shoes. Like he’s shy. Like he’s twenty again, getting his first podium. 

At first, he thinks maybe he’s seeing things. Maybe someone on the team printed out a cardboard cutout of you as a joke. But no- cutouts don’t wear perfume. Cutouts don’t laugh that easily. And cutouts certainly don’t look up, spot Max Verstappen, and say, “Hi.” 

He panics internally. 

Because what the hell is he supposed to do with that? Say hi back? Pretend he’s not the man who once told a Dutch interviewer that you were the only person he’d consider watching a romcom for? 

But to his credit, he smiles. And when you say, “You’re taller in real life,” he snorts and replies with “You’re intimidating in real life,”. 

You grin, sharp and amused. “You scared?” 

Max shakes his head slowly, voice low. “Terrified.” 

And then, like it’s the most normal thing in the world, you lean in slightly and say, “Show me the car?” 

  And God help him, he does. 

Lando Norris 4 he's so glad that you matched his freak

Lando Norris has known a lot of chaos in his life. Races in the rain, PR misquotes, Daniel Ricciardo’s prank era. But none of that holds a candle to the sheer psychological collapse he experiences when he sees you- his actual, literal, not-a-bit-made-up celebrity crush- standing by the McLaren motorhome like you’ve definitely not got a reserved seat in his dreams and just happened to show up in person. 

At first, he tries to walk by. Cool. Chill. Sunglasses on, hoodie up, no big deal.  Except he walks into a recycling bin. 

And you see it. Of course you do.

You’re trying so hard not to laugh, and he honestly thinks he might pass away from the humiliation. But then you smile- and say, “You alright there, superstar?”

He wants to die. But also? He wants to marry you. 

“I swear I’m usually more coordinated,” he says. 

You raise an eyebrow. “Says the F1 driver who just lost a fight with a paper bin.” 

You’re so pretty. It’s aggressive, actually.

He approaches, heart thudding, hands clammy. 

“Hi,” you say. “I love your helmet design.” 

He short- circuits. “I love- everything you do ever in your life ever.” 

You blink. Then laugh. “That was smooth.” 

“Was it?” 

“No.” 

“Can I try again?” 

You grin. “Sure. One more life. 

He scratches the back of his neck. “If I give you a tour of the garage, will you pretend you  didn’t see that?” 

You smirk. “Only if you give me a McLaren bucket hat.” 

“Done,” he says, already texting someone to bring one over. 

He’s going to have to write about this in a diary he doesn’t own yet. 

Oscar Piastri 81 he now knows why he prefers to stay calm

Oscar prides himself on being the voice of reason, the man who doesn’t get distracted by chaos or press drama or petty gossip. But even he has to admit that all logic exits his body the moment he sees you walking through the paddock in tailored trousers, sunglasses balanced on your head, and a kind of confident glow that makes him feel like he’s watching a movie trailer narrated by Morgan Freeman. 

You’re talking to someone from the F1TV crew, and Oscar is standing like a statue, staring, forgetting that he’s still holding a protein bar halfway to his mouth.  And then you turn. And smile. And say, “Hi.” 

Hi. 

He swallows. Hard. “Hello. Yes. Hi.” 

Flawless. Well done, Piastri. 

You step closer. “I’m a fan, you know.” 

His soul briefly detaches from his body. “Oh. That’s- that’s cool. I’m also… a fan. Of yours. I mean. Not of myself.”

There’s a beat of silence. You nod, clearly amused. “I heard the McLaren garage is impressive. Think I could get a peek?” 

He blinks. “Yeah. Yes. It’s very… orange.” 

God help him, he’s never going to recover from this conversation.

Cretaceous Island is based on the Jurassic Park/World franchise. You will step into the role of the head T-Rex keeper.

You’ve been working as a T-Rex keeper for over ten years now and every day is as interesting as the last.

Unfortunately, not even looking after some of the deadliest creatures in the world was enough to prepare you for the carnage that was about to unfold.

When the system goes down and the dinosaurs escape with evacuation impossible, it’s up to you and a ragtag team to restore order and protect both man and dinosaur.

☝︎A piece of the recent dream. They're sippin' and drippin'. I realized that inside my head, I tend to set up tea parties of two characters from different fandoms whom I find some points in common.

☝︎What if the joker was twin? There are often two jokers in a set of cards. I came up with the red's name Jugel(Juker + Angel + Juggle).

Additional explanation of the main story and "scrapped file":

I tried to blend canon facts and my fanon thoughts, so it's kinda confusing. However, I strongly believe you already know UT world well, so you won't mix up them.

You saw he used two types of reagents to accomplish two different goals. They were both synthesized by Gaster. DTM(determination) was used as the catalyst of this reaction. Canonically, DTM can be got from the extractor(huge goat-skull like shape in my opinion) placed in true lab.

The transparent reagent is for initialization. It deals with the memories of the body part in their lifetime. Let's look into canon situations. It seems that Asriel's dust somehow gave the first yellow flower his memory and consciousness. His dust was scattered over the first yellow flower. (And indeed, there's traditional way to mourn for the dead by doing like this amomg monsters of the underground.) Then, the flower was applied DTM by Alphys long after. It results in birthing of Flowey. Back to the main topic, the clear reagent resolves and removes this kind of remaining memories so the body part belongs to no one.

The next is black reagent. It simply regenerate the body part. It enables to generate meat infinitely. However, once it's dropped on the body part before using the clear reagent of initialization, it will reform the figure of the owner's lifetime, which is soulless. So now, you can see why it must be initialized first.

I heard the opinion of using them for medical purposes. Well, can't we imagine he already has another better techs to help people in belief of him being a supremacy of knowledge? It's important to remember that the subject is not to find medical methods, but just to make use of the experimental by-products. In the end of this main story, he suggested new way to interment dead which couldn't turn into dust normally and to serve foods at really cheap cost. Actually, I came up with producing slimy initialized meats from the song "meat factory" and bucket full of slime found in Alphys lab during the gameplay(is it Amalgams' food?)

I also inserted some might-be suggestive things in the story because I was raring to draw weirdly. Why don't you kill time finding them? Welp, no one is so free to spend time for it… And no one's even reading such ridiculously written explanation… Wait, aren't you?

Summary: Bron finds himself out a hotel room after a late-night mix-up with the receptionist. Luckily for him, the reader is an old friend who is also getting into town late.

It's well past midnight when Bron's Uber from the airport finally pulls into the hotel parking lot. "Thanks, man." Bron mumbles a quick thanks to his driver before collecting his bags and heading inside the lobby.

Dragging his bags behind him, Bron heads for the check-in desk where there is a blonde woman watching something on her phone to occupy her time.

"Evening, sir." The woman perks up when Bron approaches the desk. "What can I do for you?" She asks him with a polite smile.

"Yeah, room reserved for Bronson Steiner?" Bron answers the blonde.

The blonde nods and starts typing at the keyboard in front of her. Bron watches her eyebrows furrow in confusion for a brief moment before goes back to her keyboard.

"Is there a problem?" Bron speaks up after a few moment of silence.

"Yes, I'm afraid so." The blonde frowns and mumbles something under her breath. "Mr. Steiner, I'm afraid that there was an issue with our booking system. We gave your room away earlier today." She bites the inside of her cheek, embarrassed by the mix-up.

Bron frowns but tries not to take his frustration out on the poor receptionist in front of him. "Are there any other rooms available? Even just for the night?" He asks her.

"No, I'm sorry." The blonde shakes her head sheepishly. "We're booked up fully for that Wrestling show going on in the arena across the way." She explains.

"Damn." Bron grits his teeth. "Okay, do you know if anyone else around has a room available?" He tries his best to remain calm and civil about the whole situation.

The receptionist clicks her mouse a few times in silence and Bron watches her in silence.

Out in the parking lot, you finally arrive at the hotel after a painstaking flight. You collect your bags from the back of your Uber and thank him before heading inside. When you step into the quiet hotel lobby, you spot Bron talking with the receptionist at the front desk.

"Bron!" You walk over to Breakker with a smile.

The two of you knew each other in NXT and were friends. You got moved up to Smackdown about a year ago and lost touch with Bron due to always being on the road. But recently Bron has joined the Smackdown roster. So the two of you have been catching up.

"I thought I was the only one crazy enough to be getting in this late." You joke with a laugh and walk over to Bron at the front desk.

"YN, hey." Bron turns toward you with a surprised but friendly smile. But you can tell something is bothering him.

You glance at the receptionist who is feverishly clicking away at her computer then turn back to Bron. "What's going on? Sign in not working or something?" You ask Bron.

"They accidently gave my room away earlier today." Bron explains. "And now they're all booked up for the show. So she's trying to find me a new hotel." He gestures to the receptionist.

"Oh, I hate when that happens." You frown. "When the show was in Ontario a few months ago they accidently gave my room away. I ended up having to share a room with Waller since we had that storyline going." You explain. "And my god can that man snore. Ugh, it was hell."

The receptionist continues trying to fix Bron's problem when an idea pops into your head. You turn toward her with a friendly smile. "Miss? Can I get checked in real fast?" You ask her. "It's a room for YN LN?"

The receptionist nods and quickly checks you in with no problems. You take your keycard and turn toward Bron. "You can bunk with me for the night, Bron." You offer. "Then you can see about getting a different room tomorrow when it's not like 2am and more places are open." You suggest.

"Oh, I don't want to intrude, YN." Bron shakes his head.

"You aren't!" You insist. "Come on. I've got a room with a king bed, Plenty of room for you and those broad shoulders for the night." You tease with a small laugh. "Really, it's no trouble."

Bron reluctantly nods and you ask the receptionist for a spare keycard. She hands one over to Bron and the two of you head up to your room.

You reach your floor and head for your room. You unlock the door and head inside. The room is nothing special. Just a standard room with a tv, table, two chairs, and a king bed.

"Alright, well I'm going to grab a shower before I head to sleep." You set your bags down and dig around for your sleep-wear. "Make yourself at home."

Bron nods and watches you disappear into the bathroom. He sits down at the edge of the bed and sets his head in his hands followed by a deep sigh.

"What the hell am I doing?" Bron groans to himself once he hears the shower turn on in the bathroom.

A little over a month ago when Bron joined Smackdown you were the first person to congratulate him on his promotion. It had been almost a year since you and Bron had last seen each other, but you acted like no time had passed. And that exact moment was when Bron realized that he doesn't just want to be your friend anymore. No. The man has a hopeless crush on you. And now he's about to sleep in the same bed as you.

Around half and hour later you emerge from the bathroom dressed in nothing but a t-shirt and underwear while toweling your hair off. Bron chokes on air from his spot on the edge of the bed as you approach him.

"That the side you want, Bron?" You ask absentmindedly and walk around to the other side of the bed.

"Y-yeah." Bron nods, gaze following you all the way around the bed.

You toss your damp towel toward the bathroom door and hop up onto the bed. "Cool with me." You settle into the mattress and reach for your phone to plug it in. "I'll see you in the morning, Bron." You switch your side-table lamp off and snuggle into your pillow.

Bron remains in a sitting position for a while, his nerves paralyzing him. But after a while he finally calms himself enough to strip his shirt off and lay down.

You lay on the other side of the bed fast asleep on your back with your head turned toward Bron. Breakker lays in silence and watches the rise and fall of your chest, silently scoffing at the Tony D'Angelo shirt you're wearing.

Eventually Breakker does manage to fall asleep for a while. He's woken up a couple hours later when he suddenly feels a weight shift in the bed followed by a warm body right up against him. Bron's eyes shoot open and he finds you snuggled up into his side and still sleeping like a baby.

"Shit." Bron mumbles to himself as he stares down at your sleeping form.

Light is starting to stream in through the window, so it's got to be at least six by now. A part of Bron wants to flee back down to the lobby and get his room situation figured out. And he probably would if you weren't using him as a body pillow right now.

Bron's heart thumps in his chest and the noise is enough to make you stir in your sleep. "God you're warm." You sigh half-asleep and adjust your body a bit before snuggling back into Bron. "And cuddly, Bron." You add with a yawn.

Bron lays awake for around another hour before you eventually roll off of him and fully wake up for the morning.

"Morning, Bron." You yawn and sit up in bed.

"Morning." Bron replies and does the same.

You take a moment to stretch your arms over your head before you let yourself fall back down into bed. "Sleep well?" You ask Bron.

"Yeah, fine." Bron nods.

"Liar." You reply with a sly grin. "You slept for like two hours max last night." You laugh. "You were to busy having a crisis over being in the same bed as me, dork." You giggle and poke Bron in the back.

Your claim makes Bron turn around to face you. "How'd you know that?" He asks you.

"I'm a pretty light sleeper." You shrug. "Plus when I rolled over to your side of the bed I could her your heart about to burst out of your chest." You giggle and poke Bron's bare chest. "So. How long were you planning on pining over me like a lost puppy?" You ask him.

"I-I-I was not pining." Bron huffs in embarrassment.

You smirk and rise into a sitting position again. "Sure you weren't." You tease him. "That's why you're blushing right now. Because you aren't dying to see me naked." You wink at Bron.

Bron runs a frustrated hand over his face and you giggle at him. "What's so funny?" Bron asks you, clearly about to die from embarrassment.

"You are." You continue with your fit of giggles and sit back up in bed. "And criminally adorable when you're all flustered and embarrassed." You add. "So. Whadduya say, Bronson? You ready to admit you've got a thing for me? Or do I have to go shower alone?"

You watch Bron's eyes widen in surprise and you can't help but laugh again at his flustered expression. "So adorable." You tease. "Come on, big boy. Don't get all choir-boy-eques on me now." You scoot to the edge of the bed and grab Bron's hand.

"Well I'd be stupid to say no." Bron finally replies after a few seconds of contemplation.

"Atta boy!" You grin and continue on your journey to the bathroom, Bron trailing close behind you.

You are going to eat this poor awkward man alive. And you can't wait to see what he's got in store for you.

On feelings & priorities - Firsts to Grow Up

Twitch wants to be the leader of her Terran siblings. She's the big sister (with Thrash as the big brother, of course). While a leader's usual struggle is when their team won't listen to them, Twitch's problem is she won't listen to her family -- feeding her fiery temper first until it blinds her from the more important things.

The first time the Terrans, Robby & Mo feel such rage was a week after the incident with Tarantulas. Twitch had attacked Thrash and almost used her blades on him. She cried out under Bumblebee's grip in protest, "It's just training!" She did not feel her twin's fear or the triplets'.

While they were stuck in the bunker, Twitch furiously hit the thick doors with her blades to no avail. Nightshade reassures her they were doing their best to lift the security systems only to be blamed for Bumblebee's situation. Nightshade stopped indulging their new inventions to Twitch since then. It took the parents to inform Twitch how she had hurt her sibling.

The second time was their sneaky trip to the city. Hashtag felt it the most, combined with Robby's anger when his old friends defend the artist of the anti-Transformers graffiti in the skate park.

Thinking back, they weren't defending it, and the graffiti looked years old. But Robby and Twitch firmly decide that its directed at the Terrans. Hashtag feared Twitch might attack Robby's friends like she did to Thrash. She grabs her little big sister by the propellers and tells Robby they should find their Terran brothers. Hashtag wasn't sure what to feel about Robby's old friends, but the tears welled on Stevie's eyes said enough. Hashtag couldn't brave herself to call Robby and Twitch out.

The third time was on that same night. After the Terrans and Robby got busted and return home after midnight, Twitch decides to return to the city to prove to humanity that they've nothing to despise about Transformers.

Then Hashtag got mind controlled by Mandroid.

The Terrans damage multiple city blocks all while trying to save their large sister without hurting her. In her forcefully closed mind, Hashtag saw the horror of the Cybertronian War on Earth via Mandroid's memories. Days afterwards, Hashtag tried to tell Twitch to drop her ideas to "prove humanity wrong", but she wouldn't listen to her, or Thrash, or their parents who were disappointed in them all.

When the fourth time happened, it was after Robby got hospitalised. Mo expressed to her mother how she wished she and Robby never found the Emberstone. Mo didn't mean it, the Terrans knew, but it hurt. Mo avoided them since saying that and it hurt more. It made Twitch angrier by the day.

Twitch wanted to run away -- to stay at the other magic water cave with a mural in it. The triplets didn't realise her intention as they wanted to go there in hopes it'd solve their link problem. Then Twitch shouts how much she believed that their human family no longer wanted them over mistakes they had made.

They shouldn't have sneak into the city. They should've fight Mandroid and just called Megatron. They shouldn't have disobeyed their parents who only wanted them safe. Their parents have planned how to introduced them to the world, and now it's ruined ... all because Twitch prioritized her feelings over the real importance.

So when Twitch threatens her triplet brothers for insisting that Cybertronians can never feel home on Earth, Hashtag finally snapped,

"You're a big jerk, Twitch!"

Apropos of forest and national parks rangers (the dedicated Shit Has Gone Sideways Handlers) having their jobs axed, and as a former hiker, I think that if you’re outdoorsy, you ought to be aware of the following resources:

- Where There Is No Doctor by David Werner & Carol Thurman, regarded by the WHO as the reference text for remote medicine (Internet Archive PDF link)

- Stop the Bleed training, available in the US & UK, which provides training on how to stop haemorrhage in an emergency situation outside of a clinical environment (website link to local training)

- Manual CPR instruction via Revivr, the dedicated British Heart Foundation manual CPR training programme (website link)

- what3words, which generates three unique words that allow emergency response & public safety bodies to locate users (available on android & Apple app stores)

WHILST NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL HELP IN A TIMELY MANNER, I’d really recommend that folks familiarise themselves with these resources, particularly emergent wound care & how to use what3words, as in an emergency situation, all preparedness is helpful.

In addition to all of this, I really recommend that folks have a first aid kit in their backpacks/vehicles.

You do not need the Batcave in your rucksack or your car boot, but it never hurts to be prepared. You can find stocked first aid kits in most pharmacies and retailers.

Failing that, here is how I stock my personal ‘on the go’ first aid kit for my backpack:

- 1 x card of paracetamol/acetaminophen tablets

- 1 x card of aspirin tablets (substitute for ibuprofen if you’re on blood thinners, have a clotting disorder or have other contraindications for aspirin use)

- 5 x alcohol antiseptic wipes

- 1 x tube of antiseptic cream

- 1 x tube of antihistamine cream (bug bite cream)

- 2 x pairs nitrile gloves

- 30 x plasters assorted size

- 3 x large sterile wound dressings

- 2 x hydrocolloid plasters

- 1 x sterile gauze bandage

- 1 x micropore tape

You may also want to include;

- 3 x large non-adhesive wound dressings

- 1 x roll of comprehensive bandage (self adhesive; useful for fixing wound dressings in place or for stabilising sprains)

- 1 x tube arnica bruise cream

Emergency medications (asthma inhaler/EpiPen/glucagon gel for hypoglycaemia etc) should also be either on your person or in your kits.

Ensure that you’re wearing proper clothing.

In the summer, you need protective sunhats and sunglasses, as well as SPF; you should also ensure that you’re carrying more water than you think you need, as you’ll be dehydrating faster due to a combination of heat loss and exertion. Loose, covering clothing made natural fibres like cotton etc., will shield you from the sun and wick sweat.

If you’re in tick country, sleeves and long trousers that are tucked into socks are non-negotiables. Lyme disease sucks absolute ass and can take months to recover from, as does tick borne encephalitis, tularemia and anaplasmosis. Long hair should be tied up and covered with a hat; after your hike, inspect your clothing and yourself thoroughly for ticks.

Footwear is more important than you’d think. Hiking in your Converse is a sure fire way to twist your ankle to fuck, and if you’re a solo hiker, that’s a good way to get in deep shit very quickly. Hiking trainers or boots are ideal, though any well fitting, waterproof trainer with a good tread and a decent grip will also suffice providing you’re not going through harsh terrain.

Finally, marked trails and campgrounds are there for a reason. Going off trail, especially in terrain you’re unfamiliar with, is a spectacular way to get swallowed up by a ravine or unmarked cave system, get lost and die of exposure, or get eaten.

Human exceptionalism is a real phenomenon, and a detrimental one. For all intents and purposes, when in nature, you’re a ham hock with delusions of grandeur. Bears will kill you just as dead as they would a deer. Same goes for wolves, coyotes, exposure, thirst, caves and flash flooding.

Speaking of wild animals; do not approach them. If you’re close enough to pet them, you are close enough to get bitten/gored/trampled/clawed/otherwise killed in a grotesque manner. Make an effort to learn about any wildlife you may encounter before your trip, and what to do if you encounter them.

Enjoy the natural environment, learn about it, and have fun in it, as loving it and learning about it is the best way to get invested in it’s protection and preservation, but do so in a way that means you’re alive to advocate for it when your adventure is done.

Do you have any ideas on how to world build a massive overpopulated city but it isn't dirty or in shambles. Basically, everything is neat, clean and works well. Just a massive population density. I'm thinking 30k people per km2 with a total area of 1200km2. When I find images or descriptions of such high density populations I often see buildings that kind of look all rundown and slummy (not to mention high crime rates and poor if not in poverty) Or is that like.. impossible if you have such a massive crowd in one spot?

Tex: “Overpopulated” implies “more residents than the infrastructure can accommodate”. What’s considered dirty or in shambles is the result of a garbage disposal system that isn’t structured to the amount of residents + guests (tourists, relatives, holiday-goers, etc). To have a city or other area properly equipped with the amount of employees to maintain sanitation and employees to repair buildings degrading over time, it must have properly-allocated funds, and enough of it. This is at its core a governance and taxation issue, not a morality issue of “just don’t make it dirty”. Crime and poverty are the natural result of neglect by one’s government, both at a local and larger level, which requires a lot of forethought in the amount of space an individual needs to live in private and public spaces.

Utuabzu: I’m going to assume you want a prosperous city with very high density. Happily for you, there are many examples of this in the real world. Density occurs when the demand for living/working space in an area is greater than the physical space available, meaning it is worthwhile to create more space by building upwards. This naturally occurs in the centres of all cities, because proximity to one another is a big draw for both people and organisations. In the absence of any limiting factors, this is usually counterbalanced by cost making it cheaper to build outwards and simply accept longer travel times, resulting in a relatively gradual gradient of density from rural periphery to urban core.

You get greater density when there are limiting factors on outward expansion. These can be geographic, like in the case of Singapore, Hong Kong and Manhattan (all islands), legal, like in the case of Vancouver, London and many other cities (laws and policies preserving green belts or valuable farmland), or political, such as was the case for Hong Kong and still is for Singapore (an international border acting as a constraint). Often it’s more than one of these. While places like Kowloon Walled City can exist - and it in particular is a very interesting case study in urban form - for the most part very high density occurs when people want to live and work somewhere, which usually means it’s a pretty nice place to be (at least in comparison to the other options anyway). Tokyō is the world’s largest city, with 36 million people (11 million more than the entire continent of Australia), but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone accuse it of being dirty or in a shambles.

It is also worth noting that density doesn’t necessarily look like skyscrapers towering overhead. Paris has a population density of almost 25k/km² when one excludes the outlying woodland park areas, and is predominantly mid-rise buildings. The 11th Arrondissement of Paris outdoes what you ask for, with a population density just under 40k/km², and is mostly historic midrise buildings. Other European cities like Barcelona, Naples and Thessaloniki have a similar development pattern, largely due to having been built mostly before elevators existed or were commonplace, which naturally limited building heights to around 5 to 6 floors (any higher becoming increasingly impractical for the sheer number of stairs).

Feral: The International Residential Code has the minimum size required for a house to be 120 sq ft/11.1 sq m. That’s a pretty standard secondary bedroom size in suburban USA. Your population density would have one person per 33.3 sq meters, which sounds great except that doesn’t account for any non-residential use space. Given your desire for the entire city to be exceptionally well-maintained, free of crime, and presumably a wonderful place to live, that means you need great air quality, multiple green spaces, art, food, entertainment. And your city’s overall size is massive. It’s 20.5 times the size of Manhattan, 11.3x the size of Paris, and 1.6x the size of Singapore - to name a few of the cities brought up in previous answers. This kind of sprawl does not make for good urbanization - just ask the city of Los Angeles, which is almost exactly the same overall size as what you’re aiming for but has a tenth of the density.

Because of this, there is a lot of prep work they need to do for the next midterm elections to be sure they can vote. Unmarried women, and married women who haven't changed their names, are deciding to keep their original names due to these potential new voting laws. We are waking up to the fact that the (currently) falling American birth rate is being weaponized into fear so we are easier to control. We are also standing up for our human right to immigrate, emigrate, and seek asylum, and stopping families from being torn apart. It seems like collectively there will be an even greater focus on children and families being killed and harmed in genocide, war, and conflict.

These might be leaders from previous social movements (the Civil Rights movement, the feminist / Equal Rights Amendment movement, LGBT+ movement, union organizers, etc), religious and spiritual leaders, authors and experts, as well as recognizing our own leadership skills. We're looking to question what "traditional" even is (example: a "trad wife" isn't traditional to most cultures and people), and find forgotten traditions that are empowering and equalizing. With the Hierophant also being known as the Pope card, Pope Francis's final address this past Easter Sunday is especially resonant to us right now (no matter your opinion of, or affiliation with, the Catholic church, these are touching and encouraging words to hear). We are able to let go of these toxic energies by building community and building structure. There is an increased interest in building mutual aid networks. Mutual aid can look like food pantries and free stores. It can also look like families creating a system where they babysit for each other (example: parents from family A drop their kids off on Friday night to be taken care of and have a play date with family B, on Saturday night the parents of family B drop their kids off with family A -- if that doesn't make sense let me know in the replies and I'll try to explain it better lol). Mutual aid can look like hanging out with a lonely elderly neighbor while you work your remote job, you can tidy their house and they cook you a meal, and you both get basic human connection. This is also a great time for us to share our skills with each other and the children in our lives, and learning how to teach the children in our lives. We have an increased interest in environmental education. There's so many free resources out there, go check them out! We are learning how to ask for help and receive help. Volunteering is healing, this is a great time for that (example: regularly working at a soup kitchen helped my doomerism and existential crisis).

Those products are usually the exact same as the generic ones. Any skills we have that we normally brush off as "nothing special" are actually really needed at this time.
