omg hiiii finally got my entry for the art contest completed! I've always known phantoms to be born from Mira's tears so finding out that they changed the origin (several times it seems?!??) was a shock 2 me, and i will NAWT let that origin be forgotten it goes so hard........... but anyways heres my GIRL!!! & her daughter with every disease the Phantom Queen!

The eclectic senior staff of the USS Redball reflect the eclectic crew of this aged, yet dubiously proud, vessel. From men who enlisted when the Excelsior-class was the pinnacle of Starfleet ship design, to Bajoran engineers who credit their engineering prowess to faith in the Prophets, here are the senior staff of the USS Redball:

MCPO Adrien Thorne

Command Master Chief and Chief of Operations

Chief Thorne was born in 2300 and enlisted in Starfleet in 2318. He is 62 years, four marriages, ten children and at least three wars into his Starfleet service, and has served on every class of modern Federation starship, from humble Apollo-class scout ships to the Sovereign and Vesta-class starships.

Now in his eighties, he is in the twilight years of his career. The crew refer to him as 'the Old Man' affectionately, and the Chief recognises while he may be past his prime, he can still offer sage advice to the younger crews. While such a decorated and storied man could've asked for any posting for his final tour of duty, he chose the familiar Miranda-class Redball. The 23rd Century stylings of the old ship bring him back to his youth.
