hey redscape week community i just kinda feel lost not to sound desperate or anything, but was it the same last year that the official account went kinda silent during the event? are they going to repost everything after the event has ended like in a queue? i am just confused and don't know if should be worrying for the admins sudden disappearance, from my little amount experience in art weeks/months it is the first time when admins just disappear after the first day

Hello lovelies! I hope things have been going well for all of you <3 The official interest check for Redscape Week '24 is here!

Since the poll has ruled that the event will take place during the summer months (or winter if you're in the southern hemisphere), it will be open from now until the end of April! It's limited to one response per person, but you can go back and edit your response if need be. Also, people not participating (or those who are unsure) may still fill out the form so long as they have ideas for prompts or themes.

Sorry for the delay on getting the prompts out!! Your dear redscapeweek admin has been battling strep for the last 3 weeks, as well as dealing with starting a new job and other assorted crazy life circumstances, so I haven't had much time to sit down and make a prompt list.

That being said, the current plan is to post the list by the 20th! That way I can give y'all enough time to create and we can still have the week in July as planned :] I hope y'all are having a great timezone!!

Ummm does it have to be romantic between Scar and Mumbo or could it be platonic boyfriends to like QPR instead?

I'd love to participate but I don't really do romantic between the two usually it's like platonic boyfriends, who are really close.

I figured since both you lovely anons asked the same question, I'd just answer you both at the same time :]

The short answer is yes!! Platonic or otherwise non-romantic depictions of redscape are 100% allowed and encouraged in this event.

The rules are simply that the work must focus on Mumbo and Scar's dynamic and relationship to each other. How you choose to depict that relationship (be that sexual, romantic, platonic, or some in-between/combo of these options) is up to you! Honestly I think it would be fun to see a QPR interpretation of the two, as an aroace fella myself, so go wild :D
