I have not seen anyone even mention that there is no legal justification under international law for Iran to strike Israel, either as reprisal or as "punishment."

The UN Charter says "All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state." 

Reprisals are heavily restricted under international humanitarian law in any case and according to some, prohibited altogether. 

While not formal international law, a UN General Assembly resolution from 1970 states flatly that "States have a duty to refrain from acts of reprisal involving the use of force."

The planned Iranian attack is not self-defense but explicitly meant to be "punishment"  and vengeance. That is simply illegal. 

When international law is used as a club against Israel for imaginary or perceived infractions, yet is ignored whenever anyone else clearly violates it, the term "international law" loses all meaning. 

Anyone who accuses Israel of violating international law who suddenly becomes mute when a state threatens Israel with "punishment" and "avenging blood" clearly doesn't care about international law to begin with.

Pairing - Johnson (Reprisal) x Fem!Reader

Summary - It was mornings like these that kept him coming back to you.

A/N - Inspired by the song Be More by Stephen Sanchez.

Your body laid bare beneath him. The patterned coral dress you wore last night was left on the carpeted floor, forgotten. Outside, muffled voices could be heard out in the hallway of the hotel room. The cleaning lady was arguing with one of the guests again. 

Johnson grunted, feeling you shift in his arms. He blinked, his bleary eyes straining against the harsh sunlight that spilled through the open curtains. You sighed, eyes still closed as you nuzzled deeper into the pillow. 

He watched the swell of your breasts slowly rise up and down beneath the sheet. Your plush skin was soft against his rough hands, as he gently trailed his fingers down your arm. 

It was mornings like these that kept him coming back to you.

The quiet moments, when you were still off dreaming away in his arms. He took these moments to really look at you, without feeling as if he were doing something wrong. Even though he knew it was. You weren’t his to look at. 

He watched your full lips parts as you drew in a deep breath, slowly beginning to wake. Soon enough your eyes would blink up at him, resisting the urge to drift off again with a wistful smile growing on your lips before saying-

“Mornin, doe eyes.” 

You rotated, the sheet slipping down your body as you propped yourself up on your side. A pattern of plum colored bruises were littered against your collarbone. He let his hand travel to your waist, gliding against the skin to rest against the curve of your back. 

“Mornin, doll.” 

You hummed, running your painted acrylic nails through his dark hair. His once carefully styled elephant's trunk was now a mess of loose curls (thanks to you). He watched, in silent adoration, as you tenderly brushed the curls back from his eyes. Johnson sighed, as he felt his body compulsively lean forward and into your touch. 

The soft tips of your fingers trailed down, where you traced the scar on the bridge of his nose. A deep seated panic rose in his chest, as you delicately traced the outlines of his face, as if trying to commit him to memory. You always did this, before you inevitably left. 

And he let you every time.

Your hand fell against his chest, smiling at him like always.

This is how it was. 

“I better get going,” you said. No excuse followed it. No poor explanation. Just your body pulling away from him. 

His hands followed after you, gently trying to coax you back to bed. You giggled, it rang like soft wind chimes in his ears. The morning sun splashed over your body, as if trying to swallow you. He fell back against the pillows, knowing it was better not to chase after you. You pulled the dress back on, the tight fit hugging onto your curves. He made out the dimples in your lower back before they too were covered. You placed your white pumps (with scuff marks on them) back on, your purse hanging off your shoulder. 

Johnson thought if he closed his eyes and re-opened them, he could go back to last night. When your body was tangled with his, his hot breath against your skin as he bit and marked any space he could. If only to fool himself. 

You turned, your bright face peering down at him. 

“I’ll see ya later, Johnson.” you said, before waltzing out of the hotel room. 

He leaned back, tucking an arm beneath his head as he stared up at the poorly painted ceiling.

The sheets were beginning to grow cold. 

Just like always.

okay, so, johnson's not that talkative, we all know this, so i’d imagine on dates he would just listen to you talk on and on about whatever you’re passionate about and he’d just watch with pure fondness and love in his eyes

he would take you on very simple dates (that probably involve alcohol cause that's like the only thing he eats), like for dinner or maybe a walk around the park, he just wants to be with you honestly

it wouldn’t matter if you guys were even in your apartment for your date, he’d be so happy just to spend time with you

he definitely does little things like, gives you a bouquet of flowers or ties your shoelaces and just takes care of you in general

you’d have to remind him to eat, THEN HE WOULD GET THE IDEA TO MAKE YOU SPOON FEED HIM AND YOU’D ROLL YOUR EYES AND SAY “okay, as long as you eat, you big baby” WHICH IS SO CUTE AAAAAA

when it comes to nicknames, he probably calls you pretty girl/boy, or princess/prince, OR OR ANGEL EHEHEHE

for pda i’d imagine he’s a bit shy at first but then after a while he doesn’t give a shit at all, you guys could be making out in public and matty and ethan are just next to you guys like “yes, this is normal” 

when things get rough for you, i feel like johnson wouldn’t really say anything but just give you hugs or get you whatever you needed because he HAS NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCK TO SAY, emotionally awkward things

though, i’d feel like he’d have some sort of attachment issue because he’s fallen for a lot of people and they never ever felt the same towards him so he’s scared you’d fall out of love with him or that you’d leave him

this sort of makes him possessive, and jealous, especially if you’re a worker at one of the bang-a-rangs and he’d just literally SEETHE at the sight of other guys looking at you, admiring you

every time johnson would get into fights, you would totally lecture him a tiny bit and then tend to his wounds and remind him to take care of himself

he would try his best to keep you out of all the gang stuff, all the illegal shit he does because he doesn’t want you to get involved and get in trouble

when johnson’s gone for a long time, you guys would probably constantly text and check up on each other and when johnson comes back you guys would stay in bed for like the entire damn day, doing whatever
