like no it's not aphobic to state that an organisation that recruits literal infants banning them from entering into deep friendships/familial/romantic relationships is a bad policy

no one should be forced or pressured into any type of relationship, or thought lesser of for not having or desiring a romantic relationship

conversely, forcing people to not enter such relationships is not great either (remember gay people in homophobic societies?)

at the end of the day critiquing the lack of choice is not aphobic

some people need romantic relationships to feel personally fulfilled, some people don't, they may or may not be aromantic, and a blanket ban is never a good idea in an organisation people don't join as adults with fully informed consent (distinguishing it from say priesthood) & is difficult to leave

The university protests are the result of so many complex socio-political and economic factors, and I genuinely don't want to minimize the presence of other influences

But at the same time, it is REALLY hard not to look at the liberal and republican response to college students exercising their First Amendment rights and hear the sound of decades of authoritarian parenting standing over you and yelling "look what you made me do!"

do different kinks have different levels of risk? yes. are some more common than others? yes. does being turned on by something reflect on your morals and values? no.

i especially want to get this through people’s heads with CNC. i don’t care why you want to engage in consensual non-consent, because the key word here is consensual. what you do with a consenting partner is none of my business.

being into CNC does not mean you think rape is a good thing. it does not mean you want to rape someone or be raped. it does not mean you are bad or evil or dangerous. it’s just a kink.

kink does not have a moral value. the only “bad kink” is nonconsensual kink, which is really just abuse. the way you have sex does not define your character.

Yes, I wish the general public takes COVID more seriously.

Coronavirus is not like the flu nor RSV and we've known about that since MERS and the first SARS. Also, massively disappointed with queer assimilationists since COVID is quite similar to HIV/AIDS and given how the government's eugenicist policies and their anti-LGBT campaigns wiped out many of the people who would have been elders in our communities today. Let's alone the deaf communities with the older generations of sign language folks becoming deaf and multi-disabled because of rubella, which is much more infectious than COVID.
