This was something the duo had done for the past few years. Rory Cullen had to remind himself that as he felt the scissors that his partner Wyatt was currently holding pulling through his hair. In fact, Rory had even done this exact thing go Wyatt, had cut his partners locks as a fodder for the feud that had last for almost three years now.

A feud that had started with Rory's own inability to cope as the less talented member of the 44OH.

Well, less talented at the time. These days, the 44OH had been fractured into two: Wyatt's yellow design and Rory's blue, two colors that, when put together, created the group's original green color. It was the only thing they had ever agreed on together—a little joke about the true nature behind the scenes. For the fans, Rory Cullen and Wyatt Foley were bitter rivals in a deadly blood feud. For themselves, the colors were a reminder that no matter how apart they seemed, they were better together.

That meant that as angry as he was, as Rory Cullen started back to the locker room from the ring, he couldn't kill Wyatt for cutting his hair. He slammed the door to the locker room open, a snarl deep in his throat as he let it swing closed behind him. Instead of Wyatt, Yellow 44OH member Caleb Timbers was the first to greet him. Caleb gave a giant grint as he looked up from his phone, held in his good hand, craning his neck to croon out in a sing-song voice towards the shower area, "Oh Wyaaaaaaaatt. Rory's here!"

Judging by the steam in the other half of the room, Wyatt had come back and immediately hopped into the shower. Rory rolled his eyes, sitting down to pull the travel bottles he used in the arena locker room to shower with and a towel out of his duffel bag. "You in on the joke tonight, Timbers?"

"What? Me?" Caleb gave a playful grin, pointing to himself with a good hand, "No! Never! You know the rules, Rory. Don't-"

"Bring Caleb," Rory rolled his eyes with a wave of his hand, "yeah, yeah, yeah."

"Hey, don't get pissy with me," Caleb blew a kiss to his partner, "That's one of the holdovers from when YOU were our leader!"

Rory rolled his eyes playfully as he raised a middle finger for the other, shedding his clothes and heading into the shower. Quietly, which suddenly made him grateful for Wyatt's hearing issues, Rory snuck up behind the other. He wound the towel up before pulling it back. The sound it made echoed in the room almost as loudly as Wyatt's howl of pain, "Fuck, Cullen!"

Rory laughed with a hearty sound as he wrapped an arm around Wyatt's neck from behind, "That's for my hair, Foley! All my lucious locks, now gone!"

"Just your top knot," Wyatt laughed as he leaned back into Rory's body, "Payback was always something you had to instill in me. Aren't you proud?"

The water cascaded over the two of them, Rory's lips just on the outer shell of Wyatt's ear. "I'm more proud of ya than you'll ever know, kid. You've come a long way."

Rickey Shane Page vs Ophelia

Always a delight to have RSP, an MPW original who we don’t always see much of nowadays, back in an MPW ring, especially here in his home state of Ohio, the crowd quite literally chanting “R-S-P’s my favorite wrestler!”, a fun little welcome back for the former MPW World Champion- his opponent tonight though, is anything but fun. The massive Lady Monster of the Dollhouse, Ophelia, one of the most terrifying individuals on the MPW roster. Rickey has been in some wars before, but it might take a miracle for RSP to walk out of this one in one piece. 

Referee Tom Dunn calls for the bell, and the second he does, Ophelia charges across the ring at Rickey Shane Page, letting out a banshee wail but RSP catches her in mid-air as she goes for something, and drives Ophelia down across his knee with a Chokebreaker! Rickey’s got Ophelia down, this might be it!

1…..2… KICKOUT!

Ophelia out at two! Ophelia rolls for the corner, quickly trying to regain herself, as Rickey charges in, but Ophelia gets both of her knees up, sending Rickey stumbling backward. Ophelia hops up onto the second rope, measures, and tries to launch herself at RSP with a missile dropkick, but Rickey sidesteps, sending Ophelia crashing to the mat, no water in the pool! Rickey mocks Ophelia for not being very smart on that one, before watching Ophelia pull herself up in the corner again. RSP hits the ropes, and charges in, nearly taking Ophelia’s jaw off with a corner forearm! Ophelia stumbles, and immediately gets picked up by RSP, raised up into a gorilla press, and dropped flat on her face! The former MPW World Champ has some tricks up his sleeve tonight!

Ophelia rolls to her back, as Rickey takes a moment to play to the fans, giving Ophelia a “you can’t see me”, hitting the ropes, and, in honor of the man retiring this year, RSP nails Ophelia with a five knuckle shuffle!

Ophelia rolls to the outside, where RSP follows her, RSP catching him with a couple of right hands against the guardrail, before grabbing Ophelia and making sure to get her back into the ring. RSP gets back on the apron, and Ophelia charges him, trying to nail Rickey with a fist, which Rickey blocks, and then peppers Ophelia with one of his own, but as RSP tries to get back into the ring, Ophelia kicks the middle rope between Rickey’s legs, effectively low blowing Rickey! Rickey falls down, clutching at his male parts, as Ophelia measures, and launches herself through the ropes with a dropkick on RSP, knocking him against the guardrail! Ophelia then grabs Rickey off the guardrail and drives Rickey down onto the floor with a double arm DDT! Rickey’s head gets spiked right down onto the concrete floor! 

Ophelia grabs Rickey and tosses him right back into the ring, before quickly mounting him, and raining down punches! Ophelia trying to beat Rickey’s face in, all the while screaming horrifically the entire time! What the hell goes through the mind of this psycho?! Referee Tom Dunn practically has to rip Ophelia off of Rickey Shane Page, but Ophelia still nails RSP right in the head with a big stomp. Ophelia takes a second to take a lap around the ring, laughing manically to herself the entire time, as Tiffany watches her experiment from ringside, not clapping or cheering, but rather as if she’s taking in obervations. Ophelia marches back over to RSP, using her knee to choke Rickey Shane Page down in the corner! Once again, Tom Dunn needs to pull Ophelia off Rickey Shane Page! Ophelia goes so far as to HISS at Tom Dunn, which visibly shakes him, someone needs to get this woman under control!

Ophelia drags RSP out of the corner again, and peppers him with a couple of straight right hands, before Ophelia whips RSP across the ring, so hard, that Rickey hits the turnbuckles and collapses to the mat! Ophelia has RSP in a world of hurt at the current moment! Ophelia then takes the opportunity to pull her shirt off, leaving her in just her gear and then use her shirt to choke Rickey Shane Page in the center of the ring! Rickey’s face starts turning red, and Tom once again has to pull Ophelia off of RSP. Ophelia throws the shirt aside to Tiffany as Rickey rolls towards the corner. Ophelia follows him in, charging at him, and nailing him with a big forearm shot in the corner, before dragging RSP out of the corner, and dropping him with a neckbreaker! Ophelia goes for the cover!

1….2… Kickout!

Rickey out at two. Ophelia rolls over to the side of the ring, to Tiffany for approval, before raising up her hand, and trapping RSP’s head in a vice grip like hold with the Iron Claw! Ophelia continues to wrench down on the hold, as Rickey tries to fight back up to his feet. RSP starts driving elbows into Ophelia’s ribs, before shoving Ophelia off of him. Ophelia rolls to the corner, and RSP tries to charge in, but Ophelia dodges, and RSP goes careening into the ringpost! RSP drops down into the corner, having just possibly wiped out his own shoulder on that one! Ophelia smirks and measures RSP, charging at RSP, going for the big boot, but Rickey gets up and sends Ophelia up and over the top rope, taking a long hard fall down to the floor! 

Rickey goes out to collect Ophelia, rolling her back into the ring. Rickey grabs Ophelia from up off the mat, in order to grab her, and whip her into the corner, and with Ophelia rebounding off the corner, Rickey sends her up for a backdrop, catching Ophelia with a kick on the end of it! Ophelia rolls around clutching her back, as RSP drops down and makes the pin! 

1…2… kickout! 

Ophelia out at two once again! Rickey sighs in frustration, before getting back to his feet, trying to pick Ophelia back up, but as he does, Ophelia catches him with a right hand to the throat! Right to the adam’s apple! RSP falls back down into the corner, and now Ophelia has Rickey right where she wants him…

Ophelia measures, charges in, and blasts RSP with a MASSIVE boot in the corner! Boot right to the head! Apparently one wasn’t enough for Ophelia, because she gets back to his feet, turns back around, and launches himself at RSP again, blasting him with another boot! And then Ophelia get up and nails Boot! Ophelia drags RSP out of the corner, after having maybe just knocked him unconcious! 

1… KICKOUT! 

RSP out at just one! RSP shoves Ophelia off of him, and Ophelia can’t believe it! Ophelia thought she’d just knocked out RSP! Ophelia looks around, before charging at Rickey again, looking to finish this, but RSP catches him in mid air around the throat! Rickey drives Ophelia into his knee with a Chokebreaker! 

RSP collapses after the move, not fully able to capitalize the way he wanted to, but he does manage to fall into the ropes. The sudden burst of energy that allowed him to kick out of Ophelia’s boot barrage right to his head seemed to have subsided, and now RSP was feeling the effects. Still, Rickey was starting to recover, or at least he was until Tiffany throws some sort of liquid in his eyes! RSP is blinded, and he gets up, clutching at his eyes, trying to rub whatever it was out of his eyes, only for Ophelia to grab Rickey and plant him with the Go To Hell! Ophelia hooks the leg!

1…2…3!

Jacob Fatu dropped his MLW title during a Weapons of Mass Destruction match.

In MLW, Jacob Fatu doesn’t experience loss too frequently. At Fury Road on September 3, 2023, a Weapons of Mass Destruction match saw the Samoan Werewolf suffer the ultimate defeat. In the process, Fatu dropped the MLW National Openweight Championship. Rickey Shane Page, a member of Raven’s The Calling, engaged in combat with Fatu. Trios Kingdom - Round One Kerry Morton/Starboy Charlie/Marcus Mathers vs. The Production (Derek Dillinger/Magnum CK/Ziggy Haim) .- Magnum CK planted Marcus Mathers with a spinebuster and then locked in the sharpshooter. Kerry Morton made the save with a high knee lift to Magnum's back into a spinning kick from Starboy Charlie which allowed Mathers to make the cover. Winners: Kerry Morton/Starboy Charlie/Marcus Mathers

Trios Kingdom - Round One Donna del Mondo (Giulia/Maika/Thekla) vs. Jake Something/Vincent Nothing/Giant Baba Yaga (with UltraMantis Black) - Donna del Mondo had Vincent Nothing in trouble, but Giant Baba Yaga came to his aid by hitting the running neckbreaker on Maika. Rather than going for the cover, Nothing recovered and lifted Maika up for a powerbomb, but Maika slipped off his shoulders and connected with a spinning lariat on Nothing. Giulia followed with a running knee strike on Nothing and Maika made the pin. Winners: Donna del Mondo

- After the match a very upset Giant Baba Yaga confronted Vincent Nothing, seeking answers as to why he picked Maika up after Baba Yaga hit her finisher. UltraMantis Black got between the two and cooler heads seemed to prevail, until Giant Baba Yaga turned around into a Black Hole Slam from Jake Something. Something and Nothing worked over Baba Yaga after the match, even ripping at Yaga's mask until UltraMantis Black charged back into the ring with a steel chair and Something/Nothing took a powder.

Trios Kingdom - Round One folkstyle (Shaw Mason/Tim Bosby/Hunter Holdcraft) vs. Big Mouth LOUD (Katsuyori Shibata/Kazunari Murakami/Manabu Hara) - Katsuyori Shibata went for the PK on Shaw Mason, but Mason caught Shibata's foot and transitioned into the ankle lock. Shaw Mason wrenched away at the ankle but Kazunari Murakami broke it up with a stiff right hand to Mason's jaw. Shibata landed the PK to Mason's sternum and picked up the three count. Winners: Big Mouth LOUD

Trios Kingdom - Round One Black Generation International (Kaito Ishida/Flamita/Yutani) vs. TrustBusters Reserve (Big Dan Champion/Joshua Bishop/Invictus Khash) - Invictus Khash applied the Fujiwara armbar to Kaito Ishida, but Ishida rolled through to escape. Maintaining control of the wrist, Ishida repeatedly pulled Khash up into a seated position before putting him back down with buzzsaw style kicks to the side of the head. After landing four successive blows, Ishida made the cover to advance in the tournament. Winners: Black Generation International

Trios Kingdom - Round One The 37KAMIINA (MAO/Yuki Ueno/Toi Kojima) vs. Team JTO (Ren Ayabe/Fire Katsumi/Akira Juumonji) - Akira Juumonji measured Yuki Ueno for the busaiku knee, but when he made his move Ueno dodged and Juumonji crashed to the mat. Juumonji scrambled back to his feet but Ueno was waiting and hit the WR and got the three count. Winners: The 37KAMIINA

Trios Kingdom - Round One Los Cancerberos del Infierno (Cancerbero/Luciferno/Virus) vs. Los Magnificos (Adrenalina/Explosivo/Fantastico) - Explosivo tried for the spingboard rana on Virus, but Virus countered with a powerbomb. Virus followed with a Tequila Sunrise type submission but controlling Explosivo's wrist to add extra torque to the hold until Explosivo conceded defeat. Winners: Los Cancerberos del Infierno

- Raven accompanied The Calling to the ring but before the bell would be sounded he was forced to leave the ringside area due to the lack of a valid Pennsylvania wrestling manager license.

Trios Kingdom - Round One The Calling (AKIRA/Rickey Shane Page/Delirious) vs. Titus Alexander/Alan Angels/Kevin Blackwood - Delirious tried for the Shadows Over Hell on Titus Alexander, but Alexander got out of the way at the last second. Alan Angels hit the Wing Snapper on Delirious followed by a standing top rope doublestomp from Kevin Blackwood. Titus Alexander finished things off with a top rope doublestomp of his own to advance his team to the next round. Winners: Titus Alexander/Alan Angels/Kevin Blackwood

Trios Kingdom - Round One: The Family Tree (Afa Jr./Sean Maluta/Journey Fatu) vs. Just 5 Guys (TAKA Michinoku/Taichi/Yoshinobu Kanemaru) - Afa Jr. went for the Black Adam Punch on Taichi, but Taichi moved out of the way and Afa Jr. instead connected with Sean Maluta. Afa Jr. berated the unconscious Maluta for getting in his way but turned around with a superkick from Journey Fatu. Afa Jr. staggered into a diving DDT from Yoshinobu Kanemaru and the Yokozuna Elbow from Taichi and was pinned in the middle of the ring. Winners: Just 5 Guys
