Robo-Sonic: My Favorite upgrade? I can think more clearly in this body, move faster and fly with my jet. I don't need rest. I can channel enerbeam energy through the power core in my chest and hand plates allowing me to discharge in battle.

The blue robot stares at silver for a moment and his eyes turn into small lines as his codings run the diagnostic for how to respond to the hedgehogs words. He then turns and extends his arms to grab a rock, then place one in his paw with a violent-sounding noise from his motors.

‘Throw rocks at The faker. He deserves to be pelted.’

Metal signs in his claws without hesitation.

Amy and Knuckles argue as they up to a robot crashing in through a mountain. Eggman has made yet another pointless attack, introducing a new pal of his, Octopusbot. Sonic runs around and confuses it, Amy bashes a tentacle off of it and Sticks jumps on top of the machine, making it stab itself in the head. 

"Sorry, I can't hear you!" Sonic responds to one of Eggman's complaints with a grin. "Too busy running circles around your Squidbot!" 

"It's not a squid, it's an octopus! Can't you tell by the size of the tentacles in relation to the head?" 

Sonic turns to you, and you shrug. "Don't look at me, I'm not a marine biologist." 

Tails sends forth a message to inform he is going to use his new invention. Sonic tries to ask if Tails has even tested it yet, but too late. It fires but the laser misses, bounces around and causes a landslide. Chaos ensues as you suddenly need to turn your attention from the villain to slicing the boulders rushing your way, one sword knocked out of your grasp. Sticks barely evades the downfall with her acrobatic skills while Amy and Knuckles are forced to focus on crushing the boulders as well. 

Sonic is the only one fast enough to bypass the dirt and rip some wires off. The robot shuts down, leaking oil like a squid would ink. Sticks and Amy, standing right next to it, grimace and you groan in despair. Lifting your blade up, you try to wipe the oil off before it leaves a stupid stain. Tails marches up with an apologetic frown. 

"Guys, I don't know what happened!" 

"I'll tell you what happened; your lazer almost turned us into robo-fish food!" Amy exclaims. 

"Yeah, and not the delicious flaky kind!" Knuckles crosses his arms. 

You lift your gaze from your oil-soaked blade. "Guys, it's not that big of a-" 

"I'm sorry, it malfunctioned!" 

"Maybe it didn't malfunction! Maybe this isn't even Tails! What if he's one of those sleeper agents, a mole pretending to be a fox- a fox mole!" Sticks jumps up to grab at his face, presumably to pull off his supposed mask. 

"Ow! Quit it!" 

"It just needs a bit of tuning, no need to be so harsh," you comment, deciding to ignore Sticks' paranoid accusations. 

"Hey, leave him alone!" 

"No, Sonic, they're right." Tails frowns. 

"Are they?" You raise an eyebrow. 

"Well, except for Sticks and that whole fox-mole thing. I put all of you in danger. I need to go." Tails rushes off on his airplane and does not answer Sonic's calls. 

"Hey, guys, go easy on Tails. So he made a mistake, I mean, haven't you ever-" The hedgehog gets cut off by the screeching of tires.

All attention turns to the long, purple vehicle and the guy stepping out of it. "Ooh, sorry if I scared you folks! Please, accept my most humble apologies!" 

"You almost made us roadkill, pal!" 

"A thousand pardons! Allow me to introduce myself; T.W Barker, entrepreneur, owner and ringmaster of T.W Barker's circus of wonders!" 

"Why does that sound familiar..?" Your eyes narrow. 

He chuckles. "Well, I am quite famous!" 

"A circus, huh? Like, with clowns?" Knuckles asks. 

"And elephants?" Amy exhales in wonder. 

"And art made from cornhusks?" Sticks grins before you turn to her and she deflates. "I have no idea what a circus is." 

"Alas, I have none of those. You see, my performers ate some bad sushi in the last town and have fallen gravely ill. All I have is my stunt bears." 

"So, how will you put on a show?" 

"I won't be able to! The children will be ever so disappointed." 

"Not the children!" Amy gasps. 

"Yes, the children. If only I could find some kindhearted souls to help me keep the magic of the circus alive!" 

"Mr. Barker, you're in luck, we'd be proud to volunteer in your circus!" Amy declares. Knuckles and Sticks nod in agreement, surprisingly enough. 

"Mhm, I'm so glad we're a hivemind," you mumble, "don't think I've forgotten about those trapeze stunts you made me do, Amy." 

"Yeah, speak for yourself, Amy! What makes you think I want to perform like some kind of trained animal?" Sonic crosses his arms, then turns to the roller-skating bears. "No offense." 

"Yes, yes, I understand. The training is quite rigorous, it's okay if you're not capable." 

"That'll do it," you mutter. 

"Capable is my middle name." Sonic dashes around the director. "Look, I just hope your circus can keep up with me. I'm in!" 

The others turn to you expectantly. You sigh and suppose one time would not be so bad. "Alright... on the condition I don't have to touch a single trapeze again." 

"Wonderful!" Having gained the approval of the last recruit, he raises the circus tent up. "I'm delighted to have all of you!" 

Sonic calls Tails but gets no answer, so you move on to getting your roles assigned. Sonic gets a running cage and Knuckles is the guy getting launched from a cannon. 

"You are skilled in swordsmanship, yes?" The director turns to you. 

"Obviously." 

"Wonderful! I trust that you will amaze the audience with tricks never seen before." 

"Naturally." 

Amy lists out all of the cool things she could be. The director, however, places a pathetic hat over her head. "You'll be a sad clown." 

"...Unreasonably." 

"A sad clown?! I see what's going on here. You're giving me the lame job because I'm a girl!" 

"I'm ready for my trapeze act, boss!" Sticks flies in. Amy groans in disappointment. 

As everyone gets ready for the show, Amy finds herself away from the stage. She can barely bring herself to focus on learning the art of juggling, trying to keep her mind on how happy her performance will make the children. You approach her in her solitude, sitting down nearby and striking up a conversation. 

"My talents are going unappreciated again." She sighs. "I offer my help and ask for nothing in return, and this is the thanks I get?" 

"He probably gave you that role because you're the only one who'd agree to it," you point out. 

"But it's so unfair! Why do I get punished for being kind and understanding?" 

You fall silent for a moment, then shift your gaze elsewhere, voice quiet. "...That's how the world works, I'm afraid." 

"It really shouldn't." She crosses her arms, leaning against the railing. You hum in agreement. A minute passes with no words, until an idea strikes you. An idea you usually would never even entertain. 

"...Yeah, but hey, what if wore the clown make-up with you?" 

"Huh? Really?" She blinks, snapping out of her sulking. 

"We could match!" You offer in a sing-song voice, giving a lazy grin. 

Amy jumps at you, crushing you in a hug. "That would be amazing! Gosh, I've been trying to convince you into matching with me for so long, this is-" 

She continues to ramble on until showtime, spirits lifted. Yeah, you are not the biggest fan of silly things like this, but it would be unfair if Amy was the only one having a bad time at the circus. So, you gave in and allowed her to dress you up. This show is a one time thing anyway, so you may as well be a little goofy going about it. 

The show begins soon enough and everyone performs their roles perfectly. Sonic's speed amazes the audience, they laugh at Amy's juggling and Knuckles' cannonball number entertains them. Gasps echo from the watchers and Sticks swings through the air without fear. All eyes lock onto you as they stare with bated breath as you skillfully manage and swing several blades, each movement carefully coordinated. By the time the performances end, the audience is left awestruck as they depart. 

"Great job, everybody!" Amy grins. 

"That was a blast! We should do it again sometime!" Sonic exclaims. 

"Yes, you should... and you will." 

You tense up at the shift in tone but not fast enough. Ropes shoot out from one of the cannon and trap you. Sonic gets locked up in his sphere right after. "Hey, what's the big idea?!" 

"Well, you see, my performers aren't exactly sick, they escaped. When I heard about your crew, I set up this brilliant trap, and you marks walked right into it!" 

"That's where you were familiar from." You scowl, rolling your eyes in embarrassment. "Should've paid more attention to the catalog of low-ranked villains." 

He ignores your taunt and focuses on the others. You squirm and try to summon your swords but to no avail. He thought this through, the material being a magic suppressing kind. The rest of your friends are caught one by one as well. Like any reasonable villain, he explains his plan and reveals where he got Sonic's cage from. 

"Of course," you mutter. Naturally, Eggman would figure out a way to annoy your friends without even being present at all. 

A league of Eggman's robots roll in. They are of no concern to you, you are only frustrated that you slipped up this badly. As you try to figure a way out of your bindings, Tails flies in. His perfected laser fires, melting all of your problems. No longer bound by magic suppressors, you call forward your blades. 

The director notices the situation, calling forth the robots. You slash them while Amy swings her hammer. Knuckles punches them to bits and Sticks flips her way around them, Sonic running through the metal. Tails shoots the laser at them and informs Sonic of the director's whereabouts. In the end, Sonic catches up and traps the wolf in the sphere that was meant to be his prison originally. 

"Let me out of this infernal cage! I'm an entrepreneur!" 

"No one cares!" You shout back to him. 

"That was some sweet flying, buddy!" Sonic grins as Tails lands. 

"Yeah, you did good!" Knuckles pats him on the back, almost knocking him over. 

"Knew you could do it." You unsummon your swords. 

"Sorry for saying you were a double agent. I didn't realize you were a... triple agent!" 

"Yeah, thanks, Tails!" Amy smiles. 

"I'm just happy I could help. Now, let's get out of here!" And so all of you walk home, leaving the horrible director screaming for help.

Since the canonization of Sonic Spinball to the mainline Sonic timeline, there's been a particular question on the minds of many fans.

That question is, of course, "does that make the Freedom Fighters canon?"

Sadly, the answer to that (as of now at least) is apparently no. Or at least "probably not", as the cameos of the Freedom Fighters are currently regarded as just that. Cameos. And it would seem the special stages in the game are regarded as non-canon, which makes enough sense given their quirky nature. ("Robo Smile", anyone?)

However, this does still leave something else. There's one particular character that managed to slip through and is undoubtedly canon due to appearing prominently in the main portion of the game...

That's right, Cluck, Robotnik's pet mechanical chicken!

Granted, Cluck exists not as a single entity but instead as a mass produced badnik model, but I'll take it. XD

So, congrats, Cluck, on being the one SatAM character to become officially canon in the games! lol

For all the Sonadow shippers who are as insane as I am, do you remember the very first line of the trailer where Rouge goes "Sonic, wake up!"?

Imagine the reason he was knocked out was because he got distracted by something happening to Shadow. What if after Shadow got back to him, as they were fighting, Sonic started to become more relaxed and he didn't notice Nine aiming the energy extracter (made specifically for Sonic) right at him. But Shadow notices. He doesn't think about the consequences of his actions, he doesnt care what happens, as long as Sonic is safe. Shadow leaps forward infront of Sonic and gets hit by the extractor's beam straight in the chest. Time slows down for Sonic, his pupils shrinking in terror as he begins to register exactly what is happening. "Shadow-" his words barely mustered were a whisper in the wind as the beam blasts them both back.

Sonic is awoken by Rouge's panicked voice but upon remembering what happened whipped his head around is a panic. "Shadow! Shadow!" he called out but there was no answer.

"Sonic we need you!" Rouge calls out to him again; his raw power was needed to push the enemy back, he would be one step closer to the Shards as they would be a step closer to fixing the Shatterverse. "Sonic!"

Sonic knows this, he knows they need him but he can't move. His body wouldn't let him move towards them especially not after seeing a still black headghog some ways away from him. Sonic stared at Shadow's lifeless body for a long while, hoping that at some point Shadow's body would at least twitch or gasp...but that never happened.

"Sonic! Sonic we need-!"

Every sense Sonic had was now trained on Shadow; how he we just alive, how if he would have paid attention he wouldn't have gotten hit with that beam. How he had always tried to warn him every since the beginning, and if he had just listened maybe they wouldn't have been here now.

Unbeknownst to Sonic, Rebel noticed purple and black lightning begin to crackle around his feet and hands but before she could mention it she was knocked down by Nine's bots.

The army had made it through. Nine had won. All he needed now was Sonic.

"It's over Sonic, you've lost" Sonic heard Nine's smiling voice from inside one of the Robo Flickies.

Lost? Sonic's vision trembled. He turned to look at Nine's army, in his eyes a dark light. "You...!"

Addressing Sonic's Moral Code Part 2

Part 1

Now on to Eggman some question why doesn't Sonic just take him to prison, which outside of a Sonic Twitter Takeover gag about Sonic taking him to prison people have put forward an answer to this. Putting Eggman in prison would put everyone there in immediate danger because all his robots would head there to break him out. We also know Eggman dissolved G.U.N. so one can only guess what he'd do to a prison he is put in. Once again it does seem like Sonic could possibly be against carceral punishment.

So why doesn't he just kill Eggman? Well aside from Sonic knowing that there is more to Eggman than just an evil genius bent on world domination, given their previous interactions in other games. It is established Eggman during Metal Virus does seem to legimately ponder changing and go back to being Mr. Tinker. But the main reason he doesn't is because the IDW Comics is canon to the games, and they have to stick with the status quo in keeping Eggman as Sonic's archnemesis. This isn't the non-canon Archie where you can kill off Robotnik and later replace him with Robo-Robotnik. I do find it interesting how this spawned multiple fan what if scenarios.

Now for Metal, many people believe the Metal Virus could have been avoided is Sonic either didn't release Metal or destroyed him, and that Sonic can't redeem Metal. They use a panel where Eggman is taunting Sonic saying Metal's software makes him this way and Metal can't break free of it. The problem with this we know this is just Eggman taunting Sonic, and we know this is wrong. Sonic even before Eggman's taunts this points this very thing out. Canonically multiple robots built by Eggman have broken free and moved beyond their base program, no longer being limited by their software. Thus rebelling against Eggman and joining the heroes. Sonic lists off E-123 Omega and Gemerl as one that have broken free, but they are far from the only ones. You also have E-102 Gamma, Bomb, and Heavy are more examples.

So why doesn't Metal Sonic, well it's the same answer as Eggman's answer. This isn't the Archie Comics where Metal Sonic can move beyond his base Programming and become a hero known as Shard. But speaking of the Archie Comics Shadow actual tries to do what Sonic has been doing in the IDW Comics to the 2nd version of Metal Sonic. Shadow makes parallels between him and Metal and tries to get him to change.

Okay, allow me to give you some additional context before just bombarding you with all the many reasons why you need to watch this show.

Search for the Lost is a fan-made production created by Creative Planet Entertainment on YouTube. This shit has been around for 6 whole years, and it is such a good show! Made entirely out of g-mod screenshots/screen recordings and Sonic gameplay, Search for the Lost is a show about Silver the Hedgehog and his friends figuring out what Melhiles of all people is doing back in action, and why the fuck he’s working with Eggman of all people. Also, why is Infinite back… AND WHAT’S ALL THIS TALK ABOUT A PROPHECY!?

OH AND BLAZE IS HERE TOO!?!?

AND THERE’S THIS NEW GUY CALLED FORGE WHO IS LITERALLY THE BEST IN THE ENTIRE SHOW HANDS DOWN 100000P0/10 BEST BOI BEST ROBO BUDDY EVER HE’S SUCH AN IDIOT AND SUCH A HILARIOUS GUY HE’S LIKE THE ONLY ONE WHO MAKES GOOD JOKES HE IS LITERALLY THE BEST EVER I LOVE FORGE

Aight lemme just give a quick spoiler-free explanation about Forge because I know yall are looking at this like “Who tf is Forge?? Some kinda fan character or something??” Because… Yeah, he is a fan character, BUT A VERY GOOD ONE AND HIS DYNAMICS WITH EVERYONE WORK LIKE A CHARM I TELL YOU HE IS NOT JUST SOME RANDOM SONIC RECOLOR.

Cuz he’s a Metal Sonic recolor! 🤩 Haha, well to be fair, they literally call out Sonic recolors in the show with this fact. It’s in Forge’s story! Basically, Forge once worked with Silver in his bad timeline in Crisis City, but the ashes and the chemicals were too much for his small little itty bitty bird lungs. So, to keep himself from slowing everybody down, he managed to shove his consciousness into an old Metal Sonic model. A black-and-yellow one, kinda like the one from Archie except a lot less like Sonic personality-wise and a lot more like Sonic visually. With all these new robotic upgrades, Forge became a force to be reckoned with, and became one of Silver’s bestest friends after the whole Iblis thing. Oh, and he ships Silvaze like it’s nobody’s business, so that obviously gets an A+ from me lmao

I may have gotten carried away with that explanation and maybe there’s some spoilers in there but it’s late and I’m sleepy so you’ll only know if you watch the show~! ✨🙂

Seriously tho. This show is very underrated. I’ve been keeping tabs on it for years now, ever since episode 5 came out! Trust me, that’s a long time. They have their plates full when it comes to personal things and it’s a big project so episodes come out after a long time in production.

There are only 7 episodes so far, but each episode is jam-packed full of lore and giving us more questions on top of every answer! It brings back characters we haven’t seen for a long while, and it always provides a reasonable explanation as to why some of them have been gone and why some just like. Cut contact or something. There’s characters from previous games, from Sonic X, from Archie, from IDW, BRO WE GOT GAMMA IN HERE BAYBEEEEE IF THAT AINT FREE REAL ESTATE IDK WHAT IS.

AND DON’T FORGET HEAVY AND BOMB FROM KNUCKLES CHAOTIX. PLEASE. PLEASE DON’T FORGET ABOUT THEM THEY’RE HERE TOO AND THEY’RE LOVELY

So. Please. Please just watch this show. Please look at all the additional content with Forge on their channel too, it’s fucking hilarious! Just… I wanna talk to someone about this show who isn’t just my lil bro. Like I love getting to bombard him with bullshit about characters he’s never even heard about until watching this show but I gotta know I’m not the only one. Please. These people are working so hard on Search for the Lost and I’d really appreciate if you even saw just one or two episodes. The story is very intriguing, the characters are all so well-written, TEAM DARK IS THERE, FORGE GETS A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION, so I say it’s all totally worth it!

Lore Post

Hello, @themafiaskeleton here, or Bones as my friends and folks on Spacebattles call me, here with some lore for Metal. Any further posts will have the tag; lore: Written in Iron on it. While I could write this in the Doc, I figured the wall of text should at least be kept short, so I will link this for any future followers to read.

IDW Verse Lore: Already in the doc, it's more or less a Bad End for sonic as he's dead. He still believes himself to be the One True Sonic because the events of the Metal Virus haven't occurred. This also means he doesn't have Sage or know about Starlines... Issues. And he doesn't know about Kit and Surge yet

Archie Verse Lore: Similar to the IDW one, with minor changes. Eggman, or rather, Robo-Robotnik is fully aware of who he is. In this Verse, he tried pulling a fast one on sonic as they retreated away from Neo, causing the Eggmobile to crash and blow up. Normally Robo-Robotnik could up and frick off to another body, however Neo cut him off from the system when he caught him. Just in case he found a way to get himself offed and ultimately find a way to disable Neo. He would put that version of Eggman out of his misery and shortly after kill sonic.

Robotization: Something rarely used unless for something medical. Neo in the Archie Version learned really quick about how sometimes the best answer to a problem is usually the easiest one. Neo was actually surprised to learn that it was initially intended to be for medical purposes, replacing someone's limb in case of being mangled beyond use, and still remained connected to the body in a way that wouldn't have the body reject the placement. As such he mostly uses it for that reason, only using it's ability to fully Robotisize for punishments for the most heinous acts. Such as treason and maybe even outright murder. The Robotisized will spend an allotted amount of time not in control of themselves, forced to do things such as labor and even combat if need be before eventually giving them back their free will. The worse the crime, the worse the time.

Punishments: One could call these cruel. And they are. Speaking out against the Empire would result in the speaker being muzzled, and would remain muzzled 1 month per word spoken. They can still drink, but would have to use a straw to eat. Thieves would have their hands sealed in thick and heavy metal hands clasped in prayer, the time varies depending on theft. Sometimes if the theft is really minor, such as a stolen fruit or vegetable, the thief would either spend a brief amount of time in jail, or be stuck wearing normal hand cuffs. Most punishments are cruel, usually meant to intensely and intentionally embarrass the criminal into not doing it again, lest they suffer more.

Labor: Most hard labor jobs are done by those who are Robotisized or actual robots. Some mines use organics, but those are paid to do their jobs. Slave labor, to Neo, is highly inefficient. Too much chance for a rebellion and Organics take years to replace meanwhile a robot can be made within mere hours. Farming is almost done exclusively by organics utilizing heavy machinery, while the robots, and occasionally organics, transport the goods to the correct processing plants.

Life within the Empire: To those outside of the empire, all they will see is an evil, hateful tyrant(which they aren't wrong) and people suffering because of it(they are partially wrong). To most within the empire however, it is wonderful. There are no slums as they are almost always kept clean and people have enough money to get by either comfortably or uncomfortably. Remain loyal, and you will be happy. Become disloyal, and you will suffer.

Disloyalty: It is most common within communities outside of the bigger cities of the empire. Those who take Neo's "kindness" for granted and turn to crime to make an extra buck or to the freedom fighters to be "free" of Neo. Those places are unofficially considered outside of the Empire. After all, you can't be apart of the empire if you're loyal. "Those slums aren't the slums of the Empire." Neo once said, "Those are the slums of those who are not loyal. Who are not patient. They are not a part of the Empire until they earn it."

Loyalty: Loyalty is a currency most valuable in the Empire. By proving you are loyal allows you to step up further and faster in life. It can lead to you not having your house checked for treason unannounced as much, even to the point you are told about it before it happens. You'll find yourself getting promotions easier and faster than others. You may even be rewarded by Neo himself with a medal.

Military: Known as the EAF or the Empire Armed Forces, it is mostly made up of Robots, however, a good chunk of the army is made up of organics, both Overlander(Humans too), and Mobian. They are given gear that allows them to withstand attacks from ballistics and laser weaponry. They are often used as spies as well. Sneaking into locations and pretending to be an ally for any resistances.

Resistance/Freedom Fighters/G.U.N.: Neo hasn't made it a priority to constantly be after them. Without the false Sonic to guide them, they are merely ants to be crushed underfoot. He will only fight them if he feels it is necessary.

The Master Emerald: It is still within his possession, hidden away within the capital and protected by all sorts of wards and technology. The location is not on any file, both digital and paper. Only Neo knows where it is, and even then, he will not use it unless absolutely necessary. The chamber they are in is reminiscent of the Alter on Angel Island, lacking the Seven Chaos Emeralds. Those too, have yet to be a priority for Neo.

The Memorial Garden: A popular attraction within the Empires capital of New Robotropilis. It is heavily guarded by all matters of security to preserve the garden, you must pay to enter and have offerings to the graves. It is freely open to the Public on the birthdays and death days of the dead inhabitants. It is a beautiful garden. In the center stands a golden statue, depicting both Sonic and Eggman back to back, their heads titled to be looking at each other over their shoulders while facing the rival's grave. The path is made of marble, and the hedges are laced with blue and red flowers. The graves themselves also are special. For sonic, covered by an arch of marble and hedge, his tombstone is made from lapis lazuli, shaped in his emblem with a pair of green emeralds for the eyes. For Eggman/Robo-Robotnik, also covered by an arch, his tombstone was made also in his emblem, aka his logo. It is made out of Red Jasper, and the eyes are made out of zircon.

"It is only natural to respect them both. They have done many great things, and thus should remembered as such."

Both graves have silent and wireless alarms, and the coffins are made out of various non corrosive metals and are airtight. Breaching either grave will have Neo come after you.

The Metallic Phantom

I've been meaning to make this post for a while, ever since I was asked on my piece Her Machinations, about Metal Sonic — as a fellow Eggman robot, Omega, is depicted in this AU as... a robo-vac. (I know, the crime we committed here is unforgivable 😭 If wanted, I can speak on Omega and why he is what he is in a different post).

But it begged the question: What about Metal Sonic ? If Omega's a roomba with an attitude (and questionable sentience), then what's Metal ?

And that got me thinking. Where does Metal fit into all this ? Does he even fit into this AU ?

So of course, I consulted my sister, because if anything related to AU Sonic’s history is under inquiry, she's my best bet for an answer.

We went back and forth on ideas, but we still didn't have a clear idea on what exactly he'd be, considering we'd never thought about his role before.

But we did have some vague possibilities:

Metal is a bot, impersonating Sonic. Simple. No kind of corporeal form, just a digital bot that probably caused a bit of trouble with Sonic and his image.

Metal, or the equivalent of, is a catfish who probably did the same thing, impersonating Sonic and scamming his fans.

Either way, it could have been an Eggman scheme all along (for whatever reason) or not. But it could partly explain why Sonic has a distaste in 'fakers'.

Whatever Metal becomes, or if he does, I'm sure he'll prove a nice little mention in one of Sonic's stories as an influencer.

Christmas check-in! How's everyone doing on getting presents?

"Not too bad!" Sonic rushed in and out of view coming back with a few small, simple items. "Just some stuff, easy to get, they'll like it. BUT FOR TAILS, MY BESTEST BROTHER BUDDY, I...GOT...A NEW... PLANE WING! Because...it broke...while he and Eclipse were flying...and he was jumping on it...and fell...and Tails couldn't find another wing to fix it with so I found one for him! Awesome, right? Its so awesome. I'm the best gift giver ever."

"I made everyone robo companions!" Tails looked excited and proud for a moment. "...Then they exploded. Those were some cool few minutes though. Sticks probably wouldn't have liked it, but I thought, maybe she misses Buster? So, I don't know what to get them now. But I can figure it out!"

"IS THE PROCESS COMPLETE OR WILL WE BE REQUIRED TO BREAK MORE WINDOWS."

"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHUT IT." Rouge lightly hit Omega's armor with her shoulder.

Amy turned over to Eclipse, who looked like he was shaking in place.

"Another cup of coffee, Amy."

"You had ONE and you're shaking. No more coffee for you."

"I NEED TO STAY AWAKE. THIS IS IMPORTANT. COFFEE."

Amy glared at him.

"...Please."

"You figure it out."

"Don't mess with me now, I just traveled from miles over to get this stupid...climby thingy for my brother. Do you know who I am? I'm Shadow the Hedgehog, and I can make things difficult for you if you don't cooperate."

"I know who you are. Fine. The price? Your soul."

"I really don't need it that bad. Do you want my money or not."

"YOUR SOUL."

"I'm leaving."

"Do that and I'll curse your entire family."

"How?"

"Somehow."

"That's not an answer."

"Is too."

Shadow growled. "You're a child. Just give me the thing."

"HA! YOU BELONG TO ME NOW!"
