“By Thurisaz, I break all chains. By Laguz, I let my pain flow away. By Dagaz, I am reborn anew. By Raidho, I walk the path of truth. By Jera, I claim my earned reward. By Ansuz, I speak, I see, I become.” “I release all that holds me back— From this moment on, I lead my spirit forward, unbound, unseen, yet unstoppable. So it is. So it shall be.” ~ K.D. Blessed Be Seekers of the Arcane
So, this month is all about Sigil Magic on my Patreon Coven of Venus and so I've decided to share three of my favorite sigils, that I use pretty regularly in my magical practices.
Now most of these sigils are drawn from hand and uploaded to my computer so I can post them here for you to see so please be gentle. I'm not a word class artist, yet.
Feel free to use these sigils, however you would like but I do ask that if you are going to re-produce them that you give me credit for creation of the Super Solider Jupiterian Bind Rune, anywhere that you post it and that you do not re-produce it for anything other than your own private personal usage.
Let's get started with the first sigil - one the first I ever created in my practice. An oldie but a goodie!
Tumblr media
This a pretty simple a attraction sigil, that I made as a baby witch, that is designed to draw, bring, lure and magnetically pull energy towards you. I can't really take credit for a spiral for some errors, so go wild with this one! I typically use it for candle magic or to enchant beauty items, depending on the ritual. The cool thing about this sigil though is that it's pretty multi-purpose because you can add additional elements to it depending on your needs like in the example below.
Tumblr media
With this example of the attraction sigil, I've edited it's design to pull in and attract communication between two people using the elemental sigils of air (for quick communication) in the center and fire (to promote motivation, drive, forward speed and movement). Adding an additional petition in the spiral using the target's name etc for a hypothetical situation, where two or one person is not communicating with the other. As I mentioned before this sigil is multipurpose and you can dream up a multitude of different uses for it, depending on the situation.
The next sigil is probably one of my favorite creations because it is a combination of several sigils into one, the Seal of Jupiter and several Celtic runes including Inguz, Raidho, Sowilo, Wunjo, Fehu and Pertho creating a kind of Super Soldier BindRune/Jupiterian Sigil Stave to take you on a harmonious ride, that seeds the expansion of your good luck, fortune, success, victory, financial prosperity and chance in risks or gambling - especially when working with super dangerous situations. It's also really helpful at keeping the peace when working with testy or pesky people at work. This seal came about because I used to have really high paying job, that involved me working around extremely dangerous machinery and maneuvering in and out of tight spaces daily, where one wrong move could get me or someone killed. It brought me a lot of luck, success, peace of mind and even a promotion at this job. It also could be used to bring you extreme luck or fortune in money magic rituals or maybe even at the slots, since it elevates your luck taking risks to the extreme, I haven't tested it out yet there - so if one of you decides to test it out in the casino, give me a report!
Tumblr media
Again please be kind - this was scrawled in pen and uploaded to my computer, so it's not super perfect.
Last but certainly not the least, is a simple Come to Me sigil that goes a long way. If you notice it also contains some Jupiterian Elements, the seal of jupiter is mighty helpful! I can't take credit for this sigil - I've had it for a while in my phone and believe I screenshotted it from Blood Moon Bruja. But don't quote me on that, if you happen to know who the author of the sigil is - please let me know, I'm happy to credit them here in this post for their work. I just simply thought it was ingenious. Use this one at your own risk, it's pretty decent in lust and love spells.

Anyway I hope y'all have enjoyed this post!
I certainly enjoyed typing it up for you this morning and I hope those of you in our Coven have enjoyed this month's content from our series on Sigil Magic here on Tumblr and on Patreon.
If you've made it this far and you're really into the occult or the arcane,

Runes in witchcraft
In witchcraft, runes are often used as divinatory tools or symbols of magical significance. They are an ancient Germanic alphabet with each character carrying its own unique energy and meaning. Many practitioners use them for guidance, spellwork, or meditation, drawing on their individual interpretations and associations with each rune.

As a fan of both Freya Marske and Jordan L Hawk (fantasy + murder mystery/crazy conspiracy + queer romance), does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Baneful Rune Chant
So this started as a writing exercise to see if I could rewrite the "Witches' Rune" chant into the "Baneful Rune" which is referenced in Lady Gwen Thompson's "The Rede of the Wiccae" as published in Earth Religion News. (The line being: "Widdershins go by waning moon, Chanting out the baneful rune.") I have never used this to raise energy either in circle with others or by myself, this was originally just a fun challenge I gave myself. However, I feel like we are in a time where binding and similar spell work is very much needed and perhaps this chant could be beneficial in that.
If anyone does try this for energy raising. Please reply and let me know how it goes!
Fearsome night and black-veiled moon, East, then North, then West, then South, Bend before the Baneful Rune, Here we come to cast you out. Water, Fire, Earth, and Air, Chalice, Pentacle, and Sword, Make the poppet with your hair, And bind you tight with our word. Athame, censor, candles, and cords, Bell, and Book of Shadows too, Death upon you with his scourge, And Fates and Furies descend on you. Queen of Sorcery, Queen of Night, Consort who has laid down slain, Lend us all your awesome might, And keep our work from being in vain. By all the blight of the baneful plants, By all the spite of the black sow, Be spellbound by our chants, And rendered thus harmless now!

Do you use runes in you witchy life?
Runes are ancient characters from runic alphabets, historically used by various Germanic and Nordic peoples.
In witchcraft, runes are employed for divination, spellcasting, and invoking specific energies.
Each rune carries symbolic meanings, allowing practitioners to tap into their mystical properties for guidance or to shape magical intentions.
The use of runes in witchcraft is rooted in a belief that these symbols possess inherent energies and connections to the natural world, providing a framework for spiritual exploration and manifestation.
