Look what I've purchased - yup When the Rose Speaks its Name a Sherlock Holmes Anthology, a charity anthology showcasing queer Holmes and Watson inspired by the original Arthur Conan Doyle canon.
I can't wait to start to read it but right now I need to finish something before I do so later today :)

Re-Wild, by West Fraser.
A current trend in land management is ‘re-wilding’ where we let nature do it’s thing. This beaver pond is located in Marion, S.C. on private property and is in transition back to its natural state. In the painting you see lots of duck weed, cypress, and other trees in various states of decay and life. It is thought that the beaver is responsible for many of the wetlands we see in the lowcountry, and we are happy that these responsible land owners are allowing the come back of more natural spaces. (this also means less landscaping and chemicals, all good things)

We Asked 8 Bartenders: Whats the Most Overrated Tequila Cocktail?
When it comes time to mix a drink with the world’s most popular agave spirit, dozens of bartenders agree: The Margarita and the Tequila Sunrise are the most overrated tequila-based cocktails.
“Now don’t get me wrong, Margaritas can be great,” Anthony Baker, NYC-based mixologist, tells VinePair. “But people need to explore tequila cocktails other than the typical Margarita — or perhaps even incorporate tequila into other classic cocktails.”
Sadly, the Margarita and its handful of maligned variations came to mind for many bartenders we spoke to. (Sorry, spicy Marg lovers.) But it really comes down to the fact that there aren’t as many tequila-based cocktails that have hit mainstream success here in the United States. The overwhelming majority felt that the quality of the drink is in the hands of the bartender and the ingredients they choose, rather than the recipe itself.
Here’s what bartenders have to say about the most overrated tequila cocktails right now.
The Most Overrated Tequila Cocktails:
Margarita
Spicy Margarita
Strawberry & Jalapeño Margarita
Tequila Sunrise
Keep reading for details about all of the recommended bottles!
“The Margarita. It’s a very popular classic cocktail with a lot of different variations. In my opinion this cocktail is overrated for one reason: It’s too popular, and that alone just makes it less interesting. Who wants to drink what everyone else is already drinking?” —Andrii Palokha, Bartender, The Chester at Gansevoort Meatpacking’s American Bistro, NYC
“The most overrated tequila cocktail is by far the Margarita. Many people go crazy over Margaritas — no matter how overly sweet, no matter how intolerably spicy, and no matter how annoyingly salty they are. They will continue to order and drink them in large, questionable quantities, and this is mainly because people barely know of any other prominent tequila cocktails. Margaritas [can be] great. But people need to explore other tequila cocktails than the typical Margarita, or perhaps even incorporate tequila into other classic cocktails.” —Anthony Baker, Mixologist and Virtual Cocktail “Professor,” NYC
“Margarita. Most bartenders do not take the time to make it properly. Sweet and sour [mix] is used by a lot of bartenders — little do they know, that kills the tequila.” —Valeria Murrieta, In-House Mixologist, Estancia La Jolla Hotel, La Jolla, Calif.
“Spicy Margarita. Margaritas are supposed to go with spicy foods to give you a cooling contrast to what you are eating! Hot-on-hot is a monotone meal experience.” —Rob Krueger, Head Bartender at John Fraser Restaurants, NYC
“Spicy margarita — enough said, but to elaborate, it’s never enjoyable to have a drink that’s just going to have overwhelming heat. The overuse of jalapeño and habaneros becomes more gimmicky. The spicy Margarita is the new Dirty Martini.” —Jesse Dureka, Head Bartender, Philadelphia Distilling, Philadelphia
“I’m personally over strawberry and jalapeño Margaritas. I’m not opposed to a nice fruit-infused Margarita — we have one at JIMMY with tequila, mezcal, peach, and lime — just that strawberry-jalapeño combo I see everywhere.” —Johnny Swet, Master Mixologist and Founding Partner, JIMMY Rooftop Bar, NYC
“The Tequila Sunrise is the most overrated tequila cocktail, due to it being ordered for looking pretty but typically being way too sweet, often masking the terrible tequila that is used.” —Morgan Hurley, Bartender and Beverage Director, Mex1 Coastal Cantina, Charleston, S.C.
“Tequila Sunrises are absolutely overrated. Quality ingredients can help a little, but why drink tequila if you’re just going to cover it up with sweetness and juice?” —Meg Hoberg, Lead Bartender, Sidebar at Bode Nashville, Nashville, Tenn.

‟ Ye gave me your word, Claire. ”
He was still far too weak to be up and out of bed ( with both Jenny and Claire insisting that he stay put ), but all that really did was leave him to stew over the developments that had occurred since his return to Lallybroch. Just when he’d taken to giving up on life completely, practically begging to be shot by the English after Culloden... Claire had turned up here. Jamie had scarcely been awake since to give her the cold shoulder, but the feeling of betrayal remained. Even as a small, niggling, damned part of him was more glad than he could express that she was here. Not back through the stones. Not in her own time. Not with Frank.
‟ If anythin’ were to happen to me, you’d go through the stones. ” His voice might have been weak, but it was firm, with his eyes lingering on her form, as though waiting to hear her explanation -- even as he knew, deep down, what her reasons were for staying. How could he not know? He’d had the same reservations about sending her back, but then he’d thought selflessly. Not of himself, but of their child. He gritted his teeth in frustration. ‟ Christ. You weren’t to know I’d... survive this battle. What would have happened to you and the bairn then? ”
The words were there, unspoken. I didn’t want to survive this battle.

Fraser Construction is on schedule and in control with USCB’s Hospitality Management Campus expansion. By Bianca Herron
Joe Harden founded Joe Harden Builder Inc. forty years ago as a general contractor specializing in construction for the hospitality sector. Today, the company is known as Fraser Construction Company LLC.
The Bluffton, S.C.-based company over the years expanded its service offerings to include design/build, sustainable buildings and construction management, while retaining a strong portfolio of hospitality and clubhouse projects.
“We’re really good at managing high-end commercial projects and provide a high attention to detail,” Vice President of Operations Jay Fraser says. “Although some companies are low cost and others are high in production, we like to think we’re the commercial version of a high-end homebuilder.”

Linda Hartough, world-renowned golf-landscape artist (www.hartough.com), has been selected for induction into the Low Country Golf Hall of Fame.
“I am deeply honored to be included in the Low Country Golf Hall of Fame,” said Hartough, the first artist to receive this distinction. “It is very fulfilling to have this lifetime achievement recognition for painting the great courses of the game.”
The induction ceremony will take place April 1, 2017, at Moss Creek Golf Club, on Hilton Head Island, SC. Bob Collar, founder and executive director of the Low Country Golf Hall of Fame, will serve as master of ceremonies, and 13-time LPGA Tour winner Rosie Jones will speak.
“Linda Hartough’s standing in the world of golf has brought such attention to us here in the Low Country,” Collar said. “We consider her to be the number-one golf-landscape artist in the world, and she is most deserving of a place in our Hall of Fame.”
Hartough, who resides on Spring Island, S.C., joins Doug Weaver, longtime Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort director of golf instruction, as an inductee into the third induction class of the Low Country Golf Hall of Fame. Those who are already members include Sea Pines founders Charles Fraser and Joseph Fraser Jr.; well-known professionals Mike Harmon, Tim Moss, and Jim and Karen Ferree; successful amateur Kevin King; longtime Sea Pines executive Cary Corbitt; and golf writer Charles Price.
