Summary : Sarada arrived at the park where all the villagers had gathered to celebrate Hanami. The village's cherry trees were in bloom, giving Konoha a magical atmosphere. Everyone was enjoying the festivities. Yet, Sarada had no desire to celebrate. It had been three years since Omnipotence had changed the world and Boruto had been a fugitive.

Sarada arrived at the park where all the villagers had gathered to celebrate Hanami. The village's cherry trees were in bloom, giving Konoha a magical atmosphere. Everyone was enjoying the festivities. Yet, Sarada had no desire to celebrate.

It had been three years since Omnipotence had changed the world and Boruto had been a fugitive. Every day, Sarada defended him against the villagers, the Hokage, and her friends. She could not help it, she could not stand how they treated Boruto. How they saw him as a traitor. She could feel people staring at her and she could hear their whispers. But she pretended she did not see anything.

She held back a weary sigh. She did not want to come. She was only here because Chocho had asked her to. She had not asked her just once, but she had persisted for two days until Sarada finally gave in. She could not help thinking that this was the third year Boruto had not attended Hanami. They had always participated in this celebration.

When they were children, Sakura and Hinata would meet at the park. It was a tradition they'd started when Sasuke went on a mission and Naruto became Hokage. When Team 7 was formed, Sarada, Boruto, Mitsuki, and Konohamaru would spend the day together. She remembered their last Hanami. Kawaki was the new member of their team, and Team 10 had joined them. Sarada had never had so much fun. She would give anything for things to go back to the way they were. To be with Boruto and for everyone to remember him as Boruto Uzumaki. She had seen him a few times since his fleeting appearances in the village. They had only seen each other for a few minutes, but at least for that time, she could be with him.

Sarada saw Chocho in the distance, she was waving at her and setting up a blanket for the picnic. Shikadai and Inojin had not arrived yet. Kawaki had no intention of coming, and Sarada did not want to see him. And if Kawaki did not come, she was sure Mitsuki would not either. She joined Chocho and they sat down on the blanket.

“I'm glad you came,” Chocho said.

“I'm sure that otherwise you would have come to get me by force.”

“I would.”

Shikadai and Inojin arrived. They ate and chatted. It was a beautiful day, but Sarada did not have fun.

“Are you okay ?” Chocho asked.

“Of course.”

“Don't tell me you're still thinking about him.”

Sarada turned her attention to Shikadai, who was looking at her sternly.

“Shikadai !” Chocho reprimanded.

“She has to stop,” Inojin added. “He's a traitor and the Hokage's assassin.”

Sarada could not take it anymore. It was always the same thing. She knew it was not their fault. That it was because of Omnipotence. But it was harder and harder to bear. Especially in the midst of the Hanami festivities, when Boruto should be with them. Sarada stood up.

“Where are you going ?” Chocho asked.

“To stretch my legs.”

She walked away, but she could hear Chocho saying :

“Well done, guys. Really well done.”

Sarada found a quiet spot away from the crowd. It was a cherry tree. She opened her eyes wide as she remembered that it was under this cherry tree that she had spent her last Hanami with Boruto. She put her hand on the tree and closed her eyes.

“It brings back memories.”

She suddenly opened her eyes and turned around. Boruto was standing in front of her.

“Boruto ! What are you doing here ?”

He should not be here. Every time he appeared in the village, it was dangerous for him.

“I wanted to spend Hanami with you, like we always did.”

Without thinking, she rushed into his arms. Her desire to spend this day with him was stronger than anything else. Boruto put his arms around her and hugged her.

“I won't be able to stay long,” he said.

“I know.”

Kawaki would feel his presence soon. It was inevitable. If only they could spend a little more time together.

“There he is,” Boruto said suddenly.

He moved away from Sarada, looking at the direction Kawaki was coming from.

“Go find Chocho and the others, so he doesn't know you were with me.”

Sarada nodded. If she listened to herself, she would wait for Kawaki to teach him the lesson he deserved. But Boruto was right. It was better for her to find her friends and not make the situation worse. Hesitant at first, Boruto approached her and kissed her forehead.

“I'll see you soon,” he said before disappearing.

Sarada blushed and gently put her fingers on her forehead. A huge smile lit up her face. They would see each other again soon, and even if it only lasted a few minutes, she could not wait.

She went back to see her friends before Kawaki arrived.

I was reading a post which said it's 2025, they still prefer 'Narusaku over Naruhina', I really want to make some points regarding those fans.

Difference in anime and manga

1. In anime, sakura literally treated Naruto badly before he became famous, and once he's famous she started acknowledging him, concerned about him, making medicine pills ( most of which is filler, including the confession arc, in which Naruto was traumatized)

2. In manga, she never cared for him at all, all she could think about is Sasuke, she never made those medicine pills, instead she was crying alone thinking about Sasuke. Confession meant nothing to Naruto)

According to them, The last movie is 'forced'. I still don't understand, the last movie was not even required, it was just for 'Naruhina closure' (basically, the movie was done to 'clean up the mess what animators created'). I still think that even an arranged marriage with Hinata is better than love marriage with Sakura. Sakura never understood Naruto's pain, there's no emotional connection between the two.

Narusaku fans are obsessed with 'Narusaku', that's all.

Seriously they need to give up NaruSaku was a toxic ship that was never going to happen.

Exactly the studio was so bias always giving NaruSaku filler and it gave anime only fans a screwed perspective. NaruHina moments like how Naruto put his hand over Hinata's after the Neji fight and the whole Pain fight was changed up in a way that avoided NaruHina. In the manga Naruto actively avoids Hinata and gets Pain away from her and even looks her way before chasing after him.

The last worked really well and explained a lot, NaruHina was always going to happen the movie just filled in the gap.

Naruto getting with Sakura would end in pain and divorce. She will insult Naruto and constantly make him feel unwanted and unloved till he breaks. The stress of being Hokage would be so much worse and the kids turning out even worse cause both would be busy with work and avoiding each other.

Valentine's Day 2025 [NaruSaku]

She was just thankful she was able to meet with him in his office before the day was over. She walked in with a couple of simple bentos, and a container of chocolate truffles that she practically forced Ino to help her make a few days earlier when their days off aligned.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Naruto~” Sakura told him, placing the bentos and container on his desk before she leaned in to steal a kiss.

“I know it’s not much, but I had a pretty busy shift earlier, so I hope this suffices for now. I have tomorrow off, though. So if you’re up for it, maybe a late celebration could be in order?”

Naruto missed the days after the last war when he had all the free time to plan for special days like Valentine's Day today, but he was just so busy as Hokage. Luckily Sakura understood with her shifts at the hospital, it was just a matter of who finished first so they could spend the rest of the day together.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Sakura. You're a lifesaver as always," Naruto replied to her, he looked tired but was still grateful as he kissed her back. Funny that he was thinking similarly, why he had decided to do as much paperwork as he could today so there was at least less to deal with tomorrow, Shikamaru offered to take over for him too.

"Of course, and great! I'm gonna try and take at least the day off tomorrow to spend it with you so," he added, soon enjoying the bentos with Sakura, then looked impressed at the chocolate truffles.

"Whoa, did you make these?!" Naruto asked her, knowing she'd rather make than buy delicacies like that. Despite how busy the day was, Naruto prepared a little something beforehand. Right when he could sense Sakura was coming, he had one of his clones finish off the preparations for flashy fireworks that would on his signal, would display in front of the Hokage stone faces, reading:

In the night sky for Sakura to see, and the whole village too.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles (Magia Lupus Arc) EP#10 - Mash Burnedead and the Divine Visionary: An Adler dorm prefect follows directions on a note and finds the concealed door. Love, an emotionally unstable Tornado magic user, decides to kill Dot from jealousy when he claims to be engaged to Lemon. Dot creates a smokescreen to try steal her wand but is trapped inside a tornado. Love reveals Milo set a trap on the concealed door; unless they defeat Milo in 30 minutes Mash will turn to stone. Dot remembers his sister telling him it's ok to fight back, especially to protect a friend. He breaks free of the tornado, revealing under his headband is the warding cross Ira Kreuz, meaning he has the innate ability to increase his magic power based on his emotional state. Love is so scared of his raging power she surrenders. Milo, a Stone magic prodigy, is instantly defeated by the Adler prefect, Divine Visionary Rayne Ames, a Sword magic user and Finn's older brother. Love escapes while Rayne encounters Mash and realises he is the student Wahlberg told him he could trust. He too warns Mash about Abel but also informs him if he defeats Abel and wins all his stolen coins Mash will instantly be a candidate to be the newest Divine Visionary. Rayne continues with his own mission while Mash finally reaches Abel.

Blue Exorcist (Exorcist Candidate Live Combat Arc) EP#11 - Demon of the Deep Seas: Rin, Izumo and Renzo are sent for their first mission as Esquires to a coastal town, where they meet a boy named Yohei. The town has been afflicted by a kraken. Yohei reveals that his father set out to face the kraken six months before and is still missing. Yohei believes that it killed his father. When the kraken appears, Yohei attacks it but is saved by Rin. Yohei's father then appears, still alive, and explains that the kraken is a good demon.

Naruto (Land of Waves Arc) EP#04 - Pass or Fail: Survival Test: As their classmates gradually all meet up with their Jonin instructors who will decide whether they are fit to become Genin, Team 7 are forced to wait for theirs. Eventually, after Naruto sets up a juvenile trap, he and his group meet their instructor: Kakashi Hatake. Appearing to be a slacker, Kakashi takes the day to let his students each introduce themselves and tell each other their desires and aims: Naruto states that his dream is to become Hokage, Sakura seems too embarrassed by hers to say them publicly, and Sasuke declares his intent to restore his clan by killing an unnamed person. With the introductions over, Kakashi tells Team 7 that their test will begin tomorrow and that they are not to eat before then. The next day, after forcing Team 7 to wait for him again, Kakashi explains that the test entails the seizure of one of two bells from his person, the catch being that only two of the prospective Genin will pass while third is sent back to the Academy. While Sasuke and Sakura hide themselves away as the test begins, Naruto attempts to face Kakashi head-on with his Shadow Clones Technique, which is easily countered, and then falls for a snare trap. Tous profitaient des festivités. Mais pourtant, Sarada n’avait aucune envie de faire la fête. Cela faisait trois ans que l’Omnipotence avait changé le monde et que Boruto était un fugitif.

Sarada arriva au parc où tous les villageois étaient réunis pour célébrer l’Hanami. Les cerisiers du village étaient en fleurs, ce qui donnait à Konoha une atmosphère magique. Tous profitaient des festivités. Mais pourtant, Sarada n’avait aucune envie de faire la fête.

Cela faisait trois ans que l’Omnipotence avait changé le monde et que Boruto était un fugitif. Chaque jours, Sarada prenait sa défense face aux villageois, face au Hokage, face à ses amis. C’était plus fort qu’elle, elle ne supportait pas la manière dont ils parlaient de Boruto. Comment ils le voyaient comme un traître. Elle pouvait sentir le regard des gens sur elle et elle pouvait entendre leur murmure. Mais elle fit comme si elle ne voyait rien.

Elle se retint de lâcher un soupire de lassitude. Elle n’avait aucune envie de venir. Si elle était là, c’est seulement parce que Chôchô lui avait demandé. Elle ne lui avait pas demandé qu’une seule fois, mais elle avait insisté pendant deux jours jusqu’à ce que Sarada finisse par céder. Elle ne put s’empêcher de penser que cela faisait trois ans que Boruto n’avait pas assisté à l’Hanami. Ils avaient toujours participé à cette célébration.

Lorsqu’ils étaient enfants, Sakura et Hinata se retrouvaient au parc. C’était une tradition qu’elles avaient instauré lorsque Sasuke était parti en mission et que Naruto était devenu Hokage. Lorsque l’équipe 7 s’était formée, Sarada, Boruto, Mitsuki et Konohamaru passaient la journée ensemble. Elle se souvint de leur dernier Hanami. Kawaki venait d’intégrer leur équipe et l’équipe 10 les avait rejoint. Sarada ne s’était jamais autant amusée. Elle donnerait tout pour que les choses reviennent comme avant. Pour que Boruto soit auprès d’elle et que tout le monde se souvienne de lui comme étant Boruto Uzumaki. Elle l’avait revu quelques fois depuis ses apparitions furtives au village. Ils ne s’étaient revus que quelques minutes, mais au moins pendant ce laps de temps, elle pouvait être avec lui.

Sarada vit Chôchô au loin qui lui faisait de grands signes et qui installait une couverture pour le pique-nique. Shikadai et Inojin n’étaient pas encore arrivés. Kawaki n’avait pas l’intention de venir et de toute façon Sarada n’avait aucune envie de le voir. Et si Kawaki ne venait pas, elle était sure que Mitsuki ne viendrait pas non plus. Elle rejoignit Chôchô et elles s’assirent sur la couverture.

« Je suis contente que tu sois venue, dit Chôchô.

-Je suis sûre que sinon tu serais venue me chercher de force.

-Exactement. »

Shikadai et Inojin arrivèrent. Tout le petit groupe mangeait, discutait. C’était une belle journée mais pourtant Sarada n’arrivait pas à s’amuser.

« Tu vas bien ? Demanda Chôchô. 

-Bien sûr.

-Ne me dis pas que tu penses encore à lui. »

Sarada porta son attention vers Shikadai qui la regardait avec sévérité.

« Shikadai ! Réprimanda Chôchô.

-Il faut qu’elle arrête, ajouta Inojin. C’est un traître et l’assassin du Hokage. »

Sarada n’en pouvait plus. C’était toujours la même chose. Elle savait que ce n’était pas de leur faute. Que c’était à cause de l’Omnipotence. Mais elle supportait de moins en moins cette situation. Surtout en pleine festivité de l’Hanami où Boruto devrait être avec eux. Sarada se leva.

« Où est-ce que tu vas ? Demanda Chôchô.

-Me dégourdir les jambes. »

Elle s’éloigna, mais elle pouvait entendre son amie dire :

« Bien joué les garçons. Vraiment bien joué. »

Sarada trouva un endroit tranquille éloigné de la foule. Il s’agissait d’un cerisier. Elle écarquilla les yeux en se souvenant que c’était sous ce cerisier qu’elle avait passé son dernier Hanami avec Boruto. Elle posa sa main sur l’arbre et ferma les yeux.

« Ça rappelle des souvenirs. »

Elle ouvrit brusquement les yeux et se retourna. Boruto se tenait devant elle.

« Boruto ! Qu’est-ce que tu fais là ? »

Il ne devrait pas être là. Chacune de ses apparitions au village pouvait être dangereuse pour lui.

« J’avais envie de passer l’Hanami avec toi, comme on l’a toujours fait. »

Sans réfléchir, elle se précipita dans ses bras. Son envie de passer cette journée avec lui était plus forte que tout. Boruto passa ses bras autour d’elle et la serra contre lui.

« Je ne pourrais pas rester longtemps, dit-il.

-Je sais. »

Kawaki allait bientôt sentir sa présence. C’était inévitable. Si seulement ils pouvaient passer un peu plus de temps ensemble.

« Le voila, déclara soudainement Boruto. »

Il s’éloigna de Sarada, regardant la direction d’où venait Kawaki.

« Vas retrouver Chôchô et les autres, qu’il ne sache pas que tu étais avec moi. »

Sarada acquiesça. Si elle s’écoutait, elle attendrait Kawaki pour lui donner enfin la bonne leçon qu’il méritait. Mais Boruto avait raison. Il valait mieux qu’elle retrouve ses amis et qu’elle n’aggrave pas la situation. D’abord hésitant, Boruto s’approcha d’elle et déposa un baiser sur son front.

« On se revoit bientôt, dit-il avant de disparaître. »

Sarada rougit et posa délicatement ses doigts sur son front. Un immense sourire illumina son visage. Ils allaient se revoir bientôt et même si cela ne durait que quelques minutes, elle était impatiente.

Elle retourna voir ses amis avant que Kawaki arrive.

Everyone knows Naruto is a fake underdog story bc Naruto was quite literally born with everything he just wasn't taught properly till he was 12

In order to fix this I think the objectively funniest ending to this show would be to have Sakura be just vaguely stronger than Naruto or Sasuke. Like what a fucking great ending that would be. Sakura haters would have gone ballistic and then we would have achieved world peace
