As the binder was taken from his paw he stood back crossing his arms over his chest, those green hues starring at the trio as if trying to pay attention to Thier reactions. Though it wouldn't take long for a smile to cross his beak, breaking that stoic look as his work was complimented. He was proud of his work, but it wasn't often those outside of the mistress and Arabella that his potential was often recognised for what it was. Even back at the factory, he'd sketch in what little freetime he could grasp for himself, but not even his fellow muds saw his potential for something greater beyond cold metal walls.

Though at the mention of submersibles he raised a brow, running his claws over his chin feathers as he quietly contemplated what kyung had said. Before he would finally turn back to the desk, the shuffling of paper ensuing till he found what he was looking for. Placing the papers together in a pile he tapped them to straighten them out on the desk, before turning and holding out the papers.

"I've not worked on submersibles, however in the past I've worked on airships that could also land on the water and work as a sort of boat. So that, if wanted, they didn't have to remain in the air. It seemed to be in some demand and the mistress wanted me to explore the concept for our own airships that come and go from the port." As he mentioned the mistress he glanced at Roxanna before looking back to the foreign trio, but unlike before there was a spark of interest in his eyes that hadn't been there before. The heart of the inventor having began to thrum with a new anticipation or creating something different from his usual work.

"while I've not done submersibles prior, I'm open to expanding my portfolio if given the opportunity and means to... Carry out my work" an olive branch, a chance for slick to try something new, but also an opportunity for the brass claws to pursue to expand Their means of being able to assist more mudokons around mudos.

The Mudokon compared to others they had met on the airship seemed to be the eldest, age showing in the creases on his face and the bags under his eyes. But also in that wizened gaze he held as he inspected the trio, his ears giving a slight ficker whenever they spoke. With a gentle sigh he pushed away from his desk approaching the trio as he held out a paw shaking each of Thiers. He may of seemed unamused prior, but now aware these guests weren't merely here to stare at him like some sort of spectacle, his features shifted to be less tense.

"pleasure to meet yous, I ain't one to have knowledge on guarding or nothin, but you any troubles with your airships or anything else along those lines, I'm willing to aid. In fact I'd rather encourage it, the devine is... Well the devine but working on the same project all the time gets a bit boring" he spoke bluntly before turning back to his desk, he opened up a drawer shuffling around a paw inside. The sound of folders and paper being shifted through filling the space, before finally he pulling out a black binder. Making his way back over he dusted the binder off as he held it out. "Feel free to exam my work and capabilities"

The binder was filled with sketches and blueprints of airship designs, some clearly older than others but all relatively high quality. Each sketch neatly tucked into a plastic pocket.

Why does Electra chose to race with Slick in the final, like you literally paid her to wipe out Rusty and then decide yeah I’ll race with the known train crasher instead of one of my nothing but loyal components. What was the logic here
