While I'm okay with genderswapping Transformers in shows to better balance gender ratios, I do wish that wasn't apparently the first resort for writers once they've grabbed Arcee, Elita-1, and/or Windblade instead of just... Using one of the many female Transformers that already exist.

Other female characters I want to see animated:

Autobot Road Rage, my tippy top pick. She is so cool and sexy.

Decepticon Spacewarp. She's a deep space explorer that has lots of different adventures and finds herself questioning the Decepticon cause.

Megaempress and the Four Guards. For the love of all things good, please pull a Ruckley and write these ladies something decent because the Unite Warriors comics are terrible with them.

Autobot Javelin, sharpshooter and warrior! She has a really cool design and I think there are some really interesting ways you can take her character, especially if you bounce off the IDW2 story where she's traumatized from getting a head injury in combat!

Decepticon sleeper agent Flip Side. I want to see a dedicated story arc based off of her story with Blaster and how she deals with realizing her life was a lie.

Pyra Magna and the Torchbearers/Rust Renegades. While Victorion showed up in the Prime Wars trilogy, the separate components didn't seem to do so. I think either story from IDW1 or IDW2 would be fantastic story to explore in an animated story!

What female characters who've never been animated (or perhaps showed up for maybe 5 seconds) would you like to see?

GALAXY FORCE Chromia White Version

Here's a novelty for you. Chromia White Version, also (erroneously?) known as "Chromia Minerva Type" due to the resemblance, is an exclusive redeco of Galaxy Force Chromia (or more technically, Cybertron Thunderblast) only sold in limited edition DVD sets of the anime. She comes from the collection of @transgirlsoundwave, who wanted the internet in general and TFWiki in specific to have some higher quality snaps of such a rare toy. I like to think I acceded in my inimitable style; nobody else has ever posted a gallery of Chromia a) with my custom Spacewarp, b) with BotCon Elita-1, or c) without using Girl Action Poses. Enjoy!

And here we have the cover for Chapter 13 of Addendum (an IDW1 Arcee novel fanfic): Gender Diaspora. This cover was super fun to work on with @VansZero (discord) love how it turned out and how they depicted the Everbright (that would be that blocky gray and blue ship in the upper right corner), and he made Road Rage's expression so memeable lmao we adore this piece. Also yes, the symbols on the Delta Leaguer's torsos? That's the Delta Forge (not actually named in the fic) symbol, ie the symbol of the Delta League (also known as the Anti-Vocation League), a reclamation of Solus Prime's forge hammer. cyan=tears pink=blood. Here's a zoom in on Arcee's and our rough draft for it that we gave VansZero:

"Fastest taxi service in the sector," Spacewarp said, like she hadn't gone the long way. "This is as far as I go, though. Who knows what trigger-happy weirdos you've got patrolling out here."

The bait wasn't subtle but Chromia didn't bite. She bit her lip and her hands flexed.

"You know--"

Spacewarp loudly activated her airlock before Chromia could embarrass them both. "Well, until next time!"

"… Yeah," said Chromia, releasing the armrests. "Until then."

I'm thinking like his outward vibe when you first see him is like punk biker dude, but he's actually chill af. Bro happened to be riding thru New Mexico (I think thats where the WAP was docked in the one-shot?) at the time a funny little spaceship filled with funny cons crash on Earth. Either that ooorr I could have the group meet him thru a holomatter avatar episode (smthn smthn brainstorm wants a thingy from earth, scavs take the job, funny human adventures ensue) but i feel like that'd be jampacking a lotta things into one, idk tho

But yeah MP3, made him music-y because well... his name. I think he'd be great buddies with Spinister!!! I liked their little interactions in Revolution and Spin would be fascinated with a human pal

i love being out of the loop on fan theories bc my WD Gaster headcanon has been the same for like eight years, namely that he was from a geographically separated population of No Face-esque inky amoeba creatures with mild psychic/spacewarping abilities and Rouxls is a hybrid species with no mask which is why he's weird and goopy

Though she went for years as a toy only character, Spacewarp had a dedicated online column about some of her adventures. She has also appeared in Of Masters and Mayhem as a Mini-con.

just realized that the Solus/Amalgamous/Megatronus ship name is Sam or Solgamtronus

fyi we read TF One Megatronus as comparable to a he/him butch (the way we do transformer sparktion and gender assemblage that's not the word they would use and torque is much more on aforementioned xeno-spectrum than at all having to do with masculinity, it's just worth mentioning that it has been useful in the place of the term for say, chromia and spacewarp, or optimus and pyra magna, while also having a different meaning for someone like arcee and elita one. truly it's a different meaning for each of them in turn with some overlaps because they approach sparktion on an assemblage model as well as gender)

this is all to say that we like to think 3 out of 13 of the Thirteen were in something comparable to a lesbiab polycule together
