Hello there people of tumblr and people.

I actually sent an email to Starship Entertainment regarding Wonho and Shownu. Whether anyone takes the time to read it on their end or not really does not matter to me. I felt the need to express my opinions on the matter as I felt some decisions were made rather rashly and in the heat of the moment. As understanding as a person I may be, I really feel that the decisions that were made were just too quick to think and assess the situation.

Regarding Shownu: It is not right to have a relationship with a married woman, BUT he did not know AND he ended the relationship as soon as he found out. The alleged married woman makes a bad name for woman. Sure in some countries polygamy is okay and an acceptable part of their culture. However, she was the one having the affair and she knew of her own actions. There is really not much I feel I can say on Shownu’s allegation, however things were done, things were said and I am appreciative of the fact that Starship Entertainment is fighting for Shownu

Regarding Wonho: I feel like I have a lot to say on what has happened to Wonho. As understanding of the events that took place in the recent days as I am, I do not wish to accept them. To the scandal of Wonho owing money; whether he does or not, I feel that he could have stayed in Monsta X and just took a hiatus from the group rather than completely departing from the group. If he owes money, he can pay it back. I don’t agree with the method that all this information came about. Everything should have went through legally and just dealt with rather than going through social media and dishing out the tea. The person who made these allegations only makes these allegations to get attention because publicity is publicity whether good or bad. I do not think that I personally would want to be known in any community for a reason such as this and honestly if someone did owe me such a large some of money, I would have sent it to collections and if it wasn’t paid, I would have sought out an attorney to help me plead my case and get the money owed back.  Regarding the alleged marijuana usage; coming from America, I feel like such news as this doesn’t really matter. We know of celebrities here that openly either do the drug. Though controlled federally, some states have allowed recreational use, so here it is not as big of a deal. Sure you are an idol to the people that look up to you and you want them to set an example, however what they do one their own time, is really their own business. So maybe coming from where I do come from and living in the mixing pot of it all, certain news is often not looked as news here. It’s more so shrugged and turn our heads not caring.

I do not believe that anyone is above the law. If he owes the money, then yes he should pay it back. Smoking in the past is just that, it was something done in the past. The past is the past, things we do are things we learn from, however it does not define us as a person. In the least, I don’t think it does. If he still does I really think that is his own damn business. Personally I do not care about any of it. All I care about is that Monsta X is now 6 instead of 7. They have all worked so hard to get where they are today. We as a Kpop community know how hard artist have to work and how much effort they put in just to even get a shot to debut. I think there were options that Starship could have done. It was very shocking and I think it was very rash and irrational that Starship willingly went with Wonho’s decision to depart from Monsta X. Another option could have been that Wonho take a hiatus and do his military service. Other artist have done that and by the time they return from it, the things that happened in the past were just that.  Overall I thought the decision making was too hasty for both parties. I understand Wonho did not wish to tarnish the Monsta X name, but the decisions were made in the heat of the moment.

Past mistakes are lessons to be learned from, but do not define who we are. Live and learn.
