HIIIIII okay so. im making an animated tv show abt a neurologist with FND who uses a wheelchair some days, crutches others, and nothing a few days. should i give them a service dog or no bc they're a neurologist?? like i think the representation might be nice but i don't want it to feel too unrealistic but i mean at the same time it isn't that unrealistic, i just don't know of any medical professionals that have service dogs

is there more than one abridged edition of clarissa? (i tried googling this and got confused...) if so, which are you partial to? i might read the abridged version--for comparison purposes--at some point after i finish the unabridged version. also, what's your favorite tea lately?

There definitely is more than one abridged edition, but I don't know that I could summon up details at this point - the textual history of Clarissa is something I used to know a great deal about, so it's going to drive me crazy that I can't remember.

Thomas Beebee's Clarissa on the Continent, on the translation history of the novel, and Lois Bueler's Clarissa: The Eighteenth Century Response, which collects early reader responses, are both about early textual history and I feel like they deal with abridgments at some point but I couldn't swear to that.

In any case, the only abridged Clarissa that I've read, simply because it's the one that made it into my hands at ~14, is John Angus Burrell's for the Everyman edition, which I think he did around 1950. It's just under 800 pages, and I think just about half the length of the original. It's wild, some of the stuff he cuts!

Anyway, the tea I've been truly relishing lately is a house blend from a favorite local tea shop, so I can't share it without revealing my location! But right at this very moment I'm drinking a sample of Tea Vivre's Jasmine Dragon Pearls.

I recently re-learned that Hunk's face makes an appearance in Dark Side Chronicles, is that something you think you can find/reveal? I've seen the screenshot of it reflected in the G-vial

The screenshot you sent is actually from Umbrella Chronicles, not Darkside :) He only has one very brief appearance in Darkside, just a brief flashback to him killing William.

Unfortunately the Chronicles games use a mix of pre-rendered cutscenes and cutscenes that actually use models on the fly. The pre-rendered cutscenes can't be edited in any way. If you try dumping textures during a pre-rendered cutscene, all you'll get is just the frames of the cutscene. In the interest of being thorough, I did dump the textures for Hunk's model, but as you can see there's no face. His face is only visible in the pre-rendered ending cutscene so there's no reason for them to have given his model a face.

The best I can do is a screenshot of the cutscene with some graphic enhancing emulator settings on and then manually making some brightness/color adjustments in an editing app to make it clearer:
