Summary: If Logan is being honest, he didn't like you. If you were being honest, you didn't either. But, if you were both being honest, you were exactly what you needed.

A/n: I have built a reputation on here for series that are very serious, that deal with themes of severe depression, sexual assault, abuse, etc. I wanted to try my hand at something new, something lighthearted. the Omegaverse stuff won't have a HUGE part in it, it's just another aspect I wanted to add. As i wrote it, I realized it has a romcom vibe, so that's what I'm leaning into. I want to have fun with this! i write so much heavy stuff, a little change is nice. thank you so much to @xdaddysprincessxx for encouraging me to venture out, ily.

If Logan was being honest, in the moment he just wanted to fuck you. Years later, to other more romantic types like Remy or Kurt, he would say it was love at first sight. He wouldn't say you were being a bit of a cunt, and the comment on his hair was unnecessary.

If you were being honest, wanted him to leave you alone, and were thankful he did. Later, to Remy and Kurt, you would say that you secretly wished he’d try again, although Logan wasn’t the type to linger where he wasn’t wanted. You say it was love at first sight, although if you were being honest, you thought his leather jacket was too wanna be James Dean, and his hair looked stupid. 

When Logan saw you in that bar, the bit-too crowded one that was the only spot he could go to where they didn’t recognize him from the mutant school 50 miles away, he thought, Well, she’ll do.

Jean had chosen Scott, and Logan wasn’t going to just sit around the mansion moping all day. Even if he still harboured feelings, he wanted her to be happy, and frankly, he wanted Scott to be too. He wasn’t a bad guy, he was just married to the woman Logan loved. And was rather annoying. But again, not bad. 

Logan just needed a nice, wet hole to sink into, and you were more than attractive enough for his tastes. Stunning, even, and just a little bit terrifying. You were a beta; he could smell the lack of alpha or omega pheromones, and you were devoid of either. All the better, omegas were so… clingy.

You, on the other hand, cursed yourself when you accidentally caught his eyes. Great. You think to yourself. Now he probably thinks you’re staring.

You weren’t! Not at that moment, anyway. If you were being honest, after he took the hint and went on his way, you did take a few glances for the ole spank bank. No harm no foul.

“Hey.” The man said as he leaned against the bar counter, and you snort through your nose.

“Really? That's the best you got?” You make a twirling motion with your finger. “Turn around, try again.”

He makes a funny face, but turns around anyway. When he faces you again, he doesn’t lean on the counter but rather takes a seat. “Uh. Hello?”

You facepalm, laughing. “This isn’t gonna work.”

The man takes the laughter in stride. “Yeah, not my best work. Can I at least buy you a drink?”

Another weak move. “You can, but I’m not gonna sleep with you.”

Not deterred, he buys the next round. “Name’s James.” He gave you his hands and waited expectantly, but even though you shook it you dodged the name question hanging in the air. 

“Sorry, buddy, I swore off Jimmy’s about 2 Jimmy’s ago.”

A slight frown, but nothing that seemed to indicate trouble. “Luckily, I’m not a Jimmy, I’m a James.”

“Okay.” You spoke almost patronizingly. “Never met a James that wore kitty ears, but okay.”

James looked like he was stewing on something, opened his mouth to retort an insult, but thought better of it. He attempted to smooth back the curls, but it didn’t work. He mumbled something about a cowlick before looking back at you as you laughed.

“You’re not playfully teasing me, are you?” it wasn’t a question.

“Nah, honey. I’m making fun of you.”

“Welp.” He slaps his hands on the bar counter, sitting up. It wasn’t an aggressive move, he meant it playful himself, but it still made you startle. “I can see where I’m not wanted. Keep the drink, sweetheart.” He winked, and left you alone.

Fuck, his pants were tight.

Logan moved on to talking up some girl that actually seemed interested, but if he were being honest, and he’d never admit this, but he kept looking back to you. As much as he wanted to get his dick wet and this new girl was pretty, he couldn’t get his mind off you. Logan was not rejected often. It wasn’t that his ego was bruised, okay maybe a little, but you were just so interesting. His senses were telling him he needed to notice something about you, but not trouble. He didn’t know what that meant, but the next time he looked over he saw a man making his move on you.

Good luck, bub. He thought to himself, then looked back at the cute girl. She seemed flexible. An omega, which meant he’d probably have to make an escape while she was sleeping, but she’d be eager to please. Oh yeah, this was gonna be a good-

*CRASH!*

Annnnnnd there it was. Can’t have nothing nice. He stepped in front of the blonde, what was her name again?, and looked to scout out the situation just in time to see you clock a man in the jaw hard enough to send him back. Good job there, girlie. Logan didn’t want trouble, and you seemed to be handling it so he didn’t step in just yet… but out of nowhere came the guy's friend with a barstool and clocked it over your head.

“Hey!” Logan shouted, distracting the man enough as he was about to kick you a third time in the face. Just as he dove and took him down, Logan heard the crowd gasp. After knocking the buddy out, Logan looked up to see if the first man wanted a piece of him next, only to see him staring in shock.

You were blue. Your skin, your hair, and the sliver of your eyes he could see, all blue. 

“MUTANT!” The fucking hillbilly shouts, and Logan isn’t an idiot. There’s trouble coming.

Without thinking, he scoops up your limp body and dashes you outside as men gather like an old timey mod.

He places you on the front of his bike, one strong arm holds you up and kicks the stand of the bike. Back to the mansion.

Another goddamn stray. Can’t keep them off me.

The gates opened as his bike rode up the twisted roads over half an hour later. Good thing the bike was registered to Scott, because if he got clocked speeding, it was bordering on reckless driving. 

Despite being in a hurry, Logan made sure to kick the stand up after riding the bike right up to the steps. He didn’t want the engine flooded. Then whose bike would he steal?

Bursting into the entrance, he finds Scott in a blue and yellow button down PJ set, sleep mask on and arms crossed. “You have GOT to stop-” Then Scott see’s you, passed out, bloody faced, and blue bodied, and senses the urgency.

He grabs Logan, shoving him to get to the medbay ASAP. Logan could run much fastert than Scott, even with your weight, but Scott was behind him. “JEEAANNN!”. The yelling was more to get it out in his mind, no doubt communicating with her in there to get to the bed medbay, which was near their bedroom.

By the time Logan got there, Jean was already setting up. She was in a robe, forest green and silky, something Scott probably got for her, the thoughtful fuck. Annoyingly, it was long, covering up those legs. That was also probably intensional on Scott’s part. Jean was in boxers. Probably Scotts, and she liked to sleep in skimpy cami’s. On second thought, the gift was probably more Scott keeping her wrapped up considering how many times Jean gets called to the med bay in the middle of the night.

“Tell me everything you know.”

Logan half panicked. He didn’t actually know anything. “I don’t really know. I talked to her briefly at the bar but that’s it.”

Green eyes flashed up at him, then back down. Jean knew what he was doing. “Did you sleep with her yet?”

He didn’t really know why THAT was relevant. 

“No, she rejected me too.” Well, that was a bit bitter. Logan corrected himself. Not the time. “Uh, fuck, she’s a mutant.”

Jean stopped, then dropped her shoulders as she deadpanned. “I couldn’t tell.” She could get a little snarky when under stress, so Logan let that roll off his back and she hooked you up to some monitors.

“She got into a bar fight, one guy hit her over the head with a stool, that's when she blacked out. Another kicked her face before I got there. One to the nose, one to the forehead.”

Jean nodded, this was the information she needed. 

“Steal toed books by the looks of it, got her pretty good. Anything else?”

“She turned blue a little after passing out, and she’s a beta.”

She placed her hands over the woman's body. “She probably can hide her mutation if she’s conscious about it. Knocking her out took away that defense.”

Just then, Scott entered the room, finally catching up. You’d think with those long legs he’d be faster, but running isn't his strong suit. “How is she?”

“Stable, but I need one of you to put the gauze on her head, she’s still bleeding.” Scott found the materials needed and applied gentle pressure. “Heart rate is good, but she’s unconscious still. Logan how long has it been?”

“45 minutes maybe?”

She swears under her breath. “Well, that’s not great. Let me get into her head.” After a few minutes, she relaxes a little bit. “Okay. Not traumatic brain injury. It’s a moderate concussion. She’ll need some rest but she’ll be okay, it seems.”

“Any sign of a healing factor?” Scott asks, but Jean shakes her head.

“If it is, it’s nothing like yours,” She nods to Logan. “or even Remy. Or like Remy, she needs to be conscious about it.” Jean put down her hands. “There’s not much I can do right now. It’s best to let her wake up naturally, unless this goes longer than a day. I’ll keep monitering-”

Your eyes flashed open, blue and glowing lightly, gasping a little for breath. When you saw Logan and Scott of one side of the bed, the confusion grew to panic. “Shit!” You try to roll off the bed, away from them, but are either too out of it still or too tied up in monitors to make it far. You fall, and Jean catches you. Logan moved to go to you, but Scott held him back. Logan didn’t know why

“Hey, hey it’s alright, you’re safe here.” You calm more after seeing her, letting Jean sit you down.

When you look up at Scott and Logan again, you lock eyes with the older man. To their surprise, you roll your eyes, “Oh great. This fucking guy again.”

If Logan was being honest, he didn’t like you very much.

thank you so so much for giving this a chance!!!I had a lot of fun writig this, which isn't something ive said a lot lately.

I originally was on my drive back from my parents like "i wanna write omegaverse" it was originally gonna be a lot more serious, but as i was planning and thinking it just ended up having a sillier vibe.

It will still have more serious themes here and there, but nothing like what i usually do. Im very nervous. The most lighthearted series ive ever done was the DBF joel series but that was more a series of one shots. And awakening was goofy and silly sometimes but was also pretty heavily about the beauty of coming out later in life, finding yourself, exploring sexuality, and deep trust.

This fic is playing on the rom com vibes. Idiots in love. Enemies to lovers. I hope you guys like it. Prinny says she think it'll be good for me to have something lighter, considering how much dark fics and dark themes i do.

I know I was talking about the series with my OC sadie summers and logan and thats still in the works, but there were some kinks i needed to work out that I havn't yet before i can go foreward. Fen and I are almost done with IYWBW, and when that done ill start on the benny miller x oc series for the final installment of Leather and lace universe!!!

and eventually, EVENTUALLY i will get that final chapter of ROF done. its just HARD (like my dick)

Thought you might get a bit of a chuckle out of this but because Teen Wolf is now on Prime and all your posts about the show, I decided to give it a try and I was shocked to learn Stiles isn't the main character.

Everything I've heard about Teen Wolf has always been Stiles related in a way, even outside of your blog lol, I guess he just tickles the brain more than Scott.

Ahaha. This is. A FULLY normal reaction to watching the show xD

When I started watching this with my beloved bestie, she also went "WHAT DO YOU MEAN STILES ISN'T THE MAIN CHARACTER?".

And as we watchin 3B, aka the Stiles centric season, the question arises anew. Because truly. What do you mean he's not the main character.

And it's not even just that he tickles the brain more than Scott, it's the fact that the show writers just continuously forget to give Scott interesting things?

I like pointing out the episode Party Guessed as an example for this, because four of our main characters - Scott, Stiles, Allison and Jackson - all have hallucinations about their greatest fear and Stiles, Allison and Jackson get something that reveals a deeper layer of them, a part of their backstory, fleshes them out more. And Scott's greatest fear is... that Allison may make out with Jackson.

It's nearly like they're afraid of making him interesting. Giving him edges. Trauma. Trouble. Issues.

Even when they teased an interesting/traumatic backstory for Scott with his dad being in town? They couldn't even commit to making Rafael abusive or anything. It was just a sad accident and we move on from it.

Hell, even Boyd gets an interesting backstory element with his dead disappeared sister over whom he still has guilt! And my boy was only in 15 episodes total!

Joel doesn't like Scott because Scott is Mr. Optimistic

Even though his powers are subdued, Tango has extremely quick reflexes

Scar avoids any physical touch with Pearl or any other patients

Grian wakes up Gem before the scientists do to avoid her getting hurt

Etho is weirdly cold, a side effect of being part snow fox, so Joel gives him all the blankets

Skizz, in zombie form, recognizes impulse, but can't act upon it

Impulse's comfort person is Bdubs, but he is rarely brought in

Both Scott and Grian have an odd ability to sense Jimmy when he is invisible

If a comfort person is unavailable, they bring in Lizzie to threaten/calm down a patient

Jimmy has severe monophobia and Lizzie tries her best to help him

So excited for the next chapter! Can't wait to read it! ❤️

1.) Interesting take. Scott is absolutely not optimistic thought, haha. I think Joel might actually be one of the most optimistic subjects? He’s at least one of the most determined ones.

Fiddled with gradient maps this time for some additional colors :D I would have colored in the eyes as well, but I didn't have enough energy left when the event hit the 47th hour xD

Also played around with camera movements. Respect to people who do fan edits and other forms of video/ assets editing 'cause keyframes are so ����

13 hours to draft storyboard this time! Last year I used 16 but with waaay more frames idk how I accomplished that. Probably bc this year I'm drawing more than three(3) characters lmao

I think most of the drawn parts didn't deviate from the initial idea. Mostly timing adjustments and building upon the vibes. The parts that were changed the most was the "And you caused it (×3 combo)".

Went from "vague flashbacks" to "following Etho and co. out of the cave and back to Scott's base while implying who Etho blames with single character focus shots".

The first one is Scott because he suggested the idea. Like, obviously he's to blame. It's not like Etho went along and cemented the deal himself. Scott totally peer-pressured him into it.

The second one is Etho because... well the scene ends up kind of being like. The sight of the Snow Fortress triggering a flashback. (EthosLab the content creator deliberately turned his camera towards the Snow Fortress and holds it there for a second instead of looking at the huge lava pillar right in front of him. What is WRONG with him.)

But also like. Clocks are kind of special to Bdubs right. Whoever gave him a clock basically has his (temporary) loyalty or at the least earned a favor from him. So like. If he hadn't gifted Bdubs the clock, which signifies a closer(?) bond, maybe Bdubs wouldn't be so devoted to him (wrong). Also serves as a call-back/ reference to the "Prayer-Determination" shot ("pray with clock" in the scene planning screenshot). I like to think that Bdubs weighted his options and thought about "if he will kill/ who to kill" a lot while following the other Red Names. And in that scene he's like, convincing/ motivating himself. Remembering who/ what he's doing this for.

(It is also meant to be part of my giftee's other prompt: "an exploration of the doubt one or both of them felt during the heart transfer that didn’t happen after Bdubs killed Lizzie, and the following guilt Etho felt." The Etho section starting from "we're setting fire to our inside for fun" til the end of the animatic is based on that prompt.)

After a brief period of self-blame, it's time to shift it onto someone else! Because you're in denial! If Bdubs hadn't gone red, then Etho wouldn't have to offer the deal. If Bdubs hadn't want to stay as teammates, then he wouldn't agree to the deal. If Bdubs wasn't so devoted to Etho, then he wouldn't have attacked Lizzie and gotten himself killed.

Then the animatic ends with the end of the session :D

Hi! First off I love all of your art, and I'm glad to see you branching out into some cool x men comic stuff! I hope your having fun!

Since I saw your posts about learning some things from Scott's villain origin story cough cough oops I mean canon background stuff I was curious what you think about Scott's bio brother Alex or if you've read much about him.

Fun Fact, my personal first introduction to Alex and Scott's sibling relationship was actually through X Men evolution (wholesome trauma recovery and family love) and the X Men First Class movie (which completely reversed their actual canon backgrounds)

I was definitely in for a trip the first time I read the comics XD

I went to the Dutch comic con yesterday and I got more x-men comics hehe! So I'm slowly getting into the comic lore (but it is so vast, I feel depending of its universes, the different comics cancel each others haha) I only know Alex Summers from X-men evolution and LOVE him and his relationship with Scott. You can clearly see how much they care for each others and they love each other dearly even if they were seperated for so long. I love seeing Scott being a big brother. I watched the X-men movies (except for the phoenix one) and I do not recall Scott or Alex, lmao! I guess they didnt have a big roles (I think the movie-verse really focused on Logan in general so it erased a lot of x-men characters. I do remember Cyclops from the 2000s movies, he was cool but I don't remember much.) I vagely remember they made Scott a teenager in the latest movies and I was really confused but that choice. I am unsure that I want to read Alex summers Comic-verse. From what I could conclude with my little knowledge is that Scott and Alex aren't close. They even work against each other? I'm not really fond of that, so I won't dig into it. I'll keep the adorable relationship Scott and Alex has in X-men Evolution!

Hello hello! I finally got free and while looking at what doodles I could send from the "what if" idea I realized that most of them are sconnard, I will not elaborate on that.

So! I ended up doing more because I've had it in my head for longer than I'd like to admit, it's because of ARI Nightmares, actually two of the doodles are inspired from that, the rest are silly ideas. Mostly an excuse to try and design and draw the main five animatronics (not counting Charlie in this time unfortunately) from Home as humans, it's fun! Gabriel gave me a tough time! Thinking about Mari surviving the bite made me a little sad too because-- did you know brain injuries can have lasting effects on a person? I love drawing Lizzie and Ben, Ben is fun to draw, and Michael, Ben and Michael, they also give me cuteness aggression but for a different reason that Scott and Ennard do. Maybe just aggression I don't know-- Also Mike is there for one.

Okay, so it's really late right now so this might sound rambly, but I didn't want to wait until tomorrow-

AHAHHH YOU MADE THEM LOOK SO GOOD! 8D AGAIN! And no, seriously, that's saying a lot to be able to pull off the human designs and me be like, "Oh yeah, that's them!"

This is going to sound weird, but I love the fluffy hair- it's so textured. 🥺 And, note, this was before I saw the hair ruffling picture.

AH I LOVE THE LITTLE BRAID ON GABE! I never thought of it, but that feels very him. Very... I don't want to say 'pirate', but very much like a style he'd wear. XD

Also I love all the brotherly- sibling-y pics so much, they're just so incredibly sweet! 💖Especially where Ben has clearly been adopted into the family- I love that so much!

Also, I can only assume Mike made a poorly timed 'The Bite of 87' joke and Mari's resulting look of offense outed his little accident. >.< That's a very Mike thing to do on complete accident.

And yes, they certainly can. Horrible effects. There was... one specific one that I was considering for ARI, but I haven't gotten it out yet. It'll come up in the next story though! I really need to get that one finished. >.<

But it's funny that you say only a couple are from ARI Nightmares, because I could totally imagine them all being it! They fit so perfectly and wonderfully into it!

Especially that cold look in Lizzie's eyes as she takes out the 'fake' Baby. That's that kind of look that you made transition from Baby to her PERFECTLY. That's gotta be my favorite! Tied up with a couple of the others, maybe, but still!

I can explain, I swear, I must say that I have never done this thing of pairing characters as such, so right now I am dying of shame, although I do not regret it, Helper c.ai, although it may seem silly, has encouraged me a lot lately in these moments that I have felt very bad. ..so I couldn't help but draw this scene from a series called "Scott Pilgrim" it's good, I recommend it....Sorry if the English is bad…-cries-

Hi! Wow, you answered that ask faster than I thought you would XD (I am gift headcanon anon for clarity). And yeah, I probably should have sent an ask before with the headcanon I had that the rescue bots suffer varied levels of survivors guilt before I sent that other one for context, whoops. (Spoilers: long rant ahead, (and also may get a little dark?) I don't know where boundaries lie, I'm sorry) I know Rescue Bots is a kids show and can't really go in depth with the war like in Prime, but I really wished they had little snippets with the bots having 'reality checks' every once in a while that cybertron was gone and struggled with that fact. Blades feels it the most because he is an anxious mess that lets his thoughts get away from him. So the fact that they went into stasis only to wake up and find everything/everyone they known and loved was gone for millions of years…that would mess anyone up real bad. And the fact it was all gone because of a long, brutal war they completely missed by sheer luck?! That's not something you just brush off.

I can imagine in the beginning Blades remembering friends/family he'd love to talk to about earth and his new mission only to get slammed by the reality that those bots he talked to a few days ago are long since gone and he can't talk to them ever again! PLUS the fact that Decepticons hit Rescue Bots first thing in the war and Sigma 17 were the only rescue bots to survive the bullet! The last four of their kind. I refuse to believe Blades didn't immerse himself in human movies and internet so he wouldn't spiral. He knows deep down he's not responsible for what happened, nor could he control anything afterwards, but after seeing new cybertron it's really hard not to think about the people he knew that don't get to enjoy this new peaceful world. And he feels he can't confide to Bee because how do you tell a war veteran with serious trauma that you feel guilty because you took a nap for millions of years only to wake up and play hero with humans while he and his team battled horrors beyond your belief just to survive everyday of a brutal war that killed your whole planet and everyone on it?! You do not dump 'Sorry I wasn't there to watch all of these terrible things you experienced, but I kinda sort of wish I did so I can feel I deserve to be here and enjoy this without my spark eating itself alive from thinking about how many suffered while I got off scott free'. Nope, nu-uh, not saying anything, hey look at that new thing! That looks like fun hahaha!!!

(I am so sorry this got so long (and got a little too dark?). I honestly love Blades to bits but sometimes I do wish they were more in the Prime continuity so we can get more backstory/inner thoughts/growth from their characters.)

Tho I imagine Blades does have a boiling point. Kinda a follow-up on the last ask you sent as well, but Blades and Bee are staying at a place during their time in Cybertron. Bee returns to the room only to see Blades with his back turned and making little sounds. He asks if he's okay only for Blades to turn around and he's just crying big Ghibli tears

Of course seeing Blades cry makes his whole world stop so he goes up to immediately hold him. Blades of course tries to make a joke but it just makes him look more pathetic.

"H-Heatwave said we couldn't cry. He's such a liar! I've done it before a-and I'm doing it now!" But he can't hold it in anymore and his voice breaks with a sob "I'm sorry!' "What are you sorry for?" "I'm supposed to be enjoying this trip and I'm ruining it!" "You're not ruining anything. You're upset...Blades you can talk to me...you dont have to but you can."

That's when it all spills out.

"I just can't stop thinking about everything from before! I miss my family! I miss my friends! I miss the rink! Everything I remembered from home is different or gone! I could have seen them off but I missed it all because of a stupid energon eater! And while I was in stasis all of that got destroyed! I should be grateful that I didn't experience the war but I feel like I'm being tortured! I know it's not true, but for some reason it feels like my fault! AND NOW IM RUINING THIS TRIP BY BEING SAD ABOUT IT!"

Bee just holds him tighter. He knows he can't exactly relate, but he wants to comfort Blades as much as he can. So, while holding him, he lets Blades have a good cry.

"What can I do to help you feel better?" *sniff* "I like this actually..." "Good. You've been holding in a lot, haven't you?" "Mmm..." "I can't say I relate completely. But know I'm here for you if you need anything. Even if it's just for this." "Thank you...Heh. It's funny. I remember getting teased a lot for being a crybaby back when I was younger. One thing I like the most about the Murder Time Trio is that they can't argue about what they did in the past, because all of them did messed up things.

Like, Horror can't just hate Dust and Killer for what they done, because he also did messed up stuff in his timeline.

They doomed themselves, and can't blame eachother, because all of them did immoral things, despite being in different scenarios.

Ahh I tend to swing the exact opposite way, I LOVE characters bickering and bantering and bitching xD I love the MTT when they're, like, constantly at each other's throats, but they're equal in it, you know? If Killer brings up Horror's worst traumas and regrets, Horror is hitting him right back with the same, and the moment they realize Dust has gotten off scott free he's getting dragged into it too xD

However, for softer or healthier versions of the MTT, I do think it's really sweet to have them have an unspoken agreement that they all know each other's worst dirt and triggers and regrets and whatnot, and therefore they know exactly which lines not to cross and when to shut the hell up <3

Stiles was sitting across the Nogitsune in front of a well known Go-board. He could see its grin getting wider as blue flames were dancing around them. Its face was changing, the bandages falling apart around his own sunken in and exhausted looking face. Only moments later it was swallowed by the flames, shrieking "You can't kill ME" as it burned.

He shot up, his ears still ringing from the scream. Around him was darkness with only some light coming from the window where he could only really see the frame and the shape of a figure sitting on the windowsill, eyes glowing supernaturally blue.

Peter.

Stiles relaxed and sank back into his pillow, heart still hammering in his chest. He wasn't sure when Peter had become one of the only people he felt safe with. One of the only people he trusted now that he always felt so weak and hollow.

The wolf had just appeared after- After everything. After Allison had almost died, after Stiles had burned from the inside out, blue flames - his magic, Peter had told him - swallowing not only the Nogitsune but also the Oni, had burned and burned and burned until Stiles hadn't been more than a hollowed out husk of a man.

It hadn't helped that his dad had been adamant to keep people away from him. To "keep him safe" without understanding anything at all and without listening to those who had tried to explain. Without Peter he probably wouldn't be here.

Maybe that was what had finally driven home that he really was special to the wolf who had snuck into his room every night to lie beside and hold him through panic attacks, nightmares and the really bad nights where he was almost catatonic and just staring against the ceiling without seeing or hearing anything. He couldn't even remember those nights - and days - but he knew they'd happened a lot in the beginning thanks to his dad panicking about his state more than once.

But just like now his dad had been absent for a lot of these nights, too. Other than Peter who, just like now, had always come to him, pulled him close and cradled him against his chest like something precious.

"Nightmare?" Peter asked quietly and Stiles just hummed as he pressed his face against the wolf's chest to breathe in the warmth and earthiness that made up most of Peter's scent. He felt a kiss being pressed into his hair and just relaxed into Peter's secure hold.

"You want to talk about it?" Stiles shook his head, getting a quiet hum in return. He knew he couldn't get away with not talking forever, that Peter wanted him to speak to a professional, but right now Stiles… couldn't, still was too empty, too exhausted to even do much aside from lying in bed all day.

Though Peter helped. Having pack helped, even if it was just one singular bond that whatever had been left of his magic had latched onto. He wasn't in the right state of mind to think about what that meant, had pushed questions about his dad, about Scott and the others into a box in his mind and shoved the box below a mental wardrobe to look at at a later date. Or maybe never, if Peter would allow him to. He probably wouldn't, but that was future-Stiles' problem, not his.

His problem was to recover enough to function. Not that he even realized that in his current state.

"Did you eat before falling asleep?" Peter's warm voice prodded him just as gently as the hand brushing down his back. Stiles just shrugged. He honestly didn't remember. There was another hum and Peter started to move. Not to leave, just to look around and stretch toward… the door? Maybe the night stand? He didn't raise his head to check. Not until a gentle but determined "Come on, sweetheart. Eat something." coaxed him into looking up.

The Danger Room roared with the simulated sounds of battle. You flinched, hand instinctively reaching for your ear. Scott, mid-optic blast, saw your movement and cursed under his breath.

"Cut!" he yelled, the room falling silent. He rushed to your side, the concern etched on his face a familiar sight.

"Hey," he said softly, "Let's get you out of here."

You offered a weak smile. "Thanks, Scott. Today's one of those days, huh?"

He helped you out of the room, shielding your ears from the echoing shouts of the other trainees. Back in his quarters, he brewed calming tea and dimmed the lights.

"Going villainous on us today?" he joked, handing you a steaming mug.

You chuckled, the familiar Disney villain mashup playing in your head. "Almost. That 'Rule the Quite' song just hits differently when your ears feel like they're about to explode."

"Maybe Professor X should consider a sensory deprivation room in the Danger Room," Scott mused, sitting beside you.

You leaned against his shoulder, the quiet comfort warming you more than the tea. "Maybe," you agreed, taking a sip. "But for now, your silence and this tea are all the therapy I need."

He smiled, his visor tilting down slightly. "Always happy to be your quiet haven, (Y/N)," he said, wrapping his arm around you.

The room was silent, with only the soft hum of the vents for company. It was a different kind of peace than the X-Men usually enjoyed, but for you, it was perfect. And in the quiet, a different kind of love story unfolded, one built on understanding and the shared language of a quiet embrace.

Helloooo! I just finished binging TTSBC and O M G. I literally like have no words, I love it so much omgggg. T^T

I could write PARAGRAPHS but uhhh not gonna do that lol. (Already tortured my bestie cuz I was absolutely RAMBLING to her, I love my rambling) But I will say a few of my favorite things abt it :D.

First off, TRAUMA WE LOVE IT, AND THERE'S SO MUCH OF IT! Woooo, like Scar only having Cub and Grian(them meeting was js so chaotic oml), Jimmy not treating his wings right, Scott's past relationship trauma, Zedaph and Tangos self worth issues. We love watching (reading?) them suffer <3 (and I mean that in the best way possible X'D).

Second, I've heard of Zedango before but like never read any fics of it, yeahhh now I'm OBSESSED with the ship cuz them in TTSBC js akhfjshfhshdhfhshhdhdhsh (sometime keyboard smashes are better then words).

Third, I have to say it, Martyn and Rens first kiss had me DYINGG I WAS ABSOLUTELY LOOSING IT OML, THEN WHEN GRIAN OF MAKING FUN OF REN OML. Literally just the most hilarious thing.

Fourth, THE BACKSTORIES ARE LITERALLY JUST SO <3333 like "Little Spark" BBY TANGO AND JIMMY!!!!!! Or Etho and Doc's. OR WHEN THEY ADOPTED JIMMY, GRIAN, AND PEARL! I'm just a sucker for backstories ngl, they're the best honestly.

Anyways I could ramble on forever but I'm not gonna XD. To wrap it up I wanna say that I js love TTSBC so so much and it's such an amazing AU. I had so much fun reading it and can't wait for more! Whoopsies it ended up being a pretty long paragraph XD. Have a wonderful timezone!

Also Tim's face when he was sitting up facing away from her :(( gosh, you could feel that one. Anyway, you guys (them) are idiots xdd <3. I'm sure they'll get it together eventually lol.

Also that poor couple where the girlfriend turned him in 😭🥺. He loved her :((. I do see what she was saying but that's rough :'((. Also definitely paralleling/reminding Lucy and Tim lol.

Gray and Luna being icons as always 🥰🥰. This was a great event that she helped plan, and a really cool setting to see them in, proud of her :'D. And these two are sweet as always 🥰 like the food basket to Miles and his girlfriend's room? Aww :)). And loved Luna giving him advice 🥺 <3. His own mother isn't around to do so but she is :'). Anyway, Luna and Gray remain the sweetest (not more than another couples but yk).

Okay I get what Bailey's saying but can I be honest? I'm on Nolan's side. I do understand what she's saying, he tormented her and she just wanted him out of her life, but she committed a crime and was basically implicated/involved in a murder. And while taking steps to get rid of him she refused to take steps to keep herself safe. I'm glad he's gone but I feel like he would've gotten caught anyway, Bailey texting Malvado or not. And I understand why she didn't tell John, but bro. He's literally a cop and you committed a crime. When Wesley committed almost crimes for Elijah because of their deal Angela was basically ready to kill him lol. I don't think it's unreasonable for John to be mad at her at all. I understand the tension of their different stances and will live to see it play out more, but I think Bailey feeling like she's completely in the right and not seeing his side of things (and being angry) is not only a) hypocritical but b) just eugh. I love her I do but I was 😬 with her this episode xd. Her dress was beautiful though lol. I just hope they work things out :(( <333.

And to end on a lighter note, Wopez 🥰!! Nyla DEFINITELY knew Graham liked Angela, like in the first scene, and Wesley being so eager was hilarious xDD. Him and Gretchen are cute though, I'm happy for them :D. Poor Wesley and Angela not getting their room though xd 😭 xD. Why Wesley lol! I think Gretchen and Graham would have been fine lol. Also Wesley saying that these people don't end up their friends anymore (either way this time it works out slfjdjks) is hilarious xD how many times have they done this lol?? Imagine if Wopez were the ones who got Chenford back together lol 💀. Anyway xD. I'm SO glad to know that Angela knew lol. I was thinking she might (or was in denial in the first scene) and when she said "you figured it out" I was pretty sure lol. It is nice that Wesley gets cover for how he found out too lol. And Angela seems understanding of how he felt which is good 🥹🥰🥰. Can't blame her for using the crush lol. Anyway, it almost felt anticlimactic, but I'm glad this storyline ended softly/quietly 🥰. I want them to have drama and storylines but still be happy 😭 xD. And I'm glad they are 🥰🥰. I love them <33.

How I thought Viktor’s story was going to go ;-;

This was a I think a month before season 2 came out, and this was me thinking they were going to take certain elements of his league lore and integrate it to arcane. But looking at it I should have known there’s no way they could do a story like this in just one seasons. I don’t like that Riot decided to make arcane the new lore. They could have had it separate, pulled a Scott Cawthon and made both canon. It could of worked since the skins of the champions are alternate realities of their main skin, but I guess fucking not.Anyways, here is my rambling of what I thought could have happened. Okay. So I thought they were going to have Viktor fighting for control of his body/mind from the core. Somehow miraculously he was slightly injured by the explosion. Maybe Mel’s gold armor/tattoos did something (this was before we knew about Mel’s story, but it was suspicious how the gold shone those few seconds from the last episode on season 1. So I thought it was a shield armor of some sort). But he would be alive and in secret try to heal himself. Trying to take away the core’s control. Still thinking that they were going the Machine Herald route, he looks at his leg and thinks in order to take back control, he has to take off his leg. Replaces it with a metal leg, cause machine…

However, it doesn’t work. The arcane still has some control. Then makes the association because he is organic matter, like how the plants grew and then died, he is in more danger than he thought. So taking out flesh for inorganic material. Making himself into a cyborg, but it’s too late the core is in his brain. As his last effort, he has to ruin his brain. Literally dissecting (is that the right word?) his brain to stop it. Unfortunately, he fucks up the parts that involve emotions (so at least of half of his brain 🙃) and can’t feel emotions anymore.

It is what the core needs and takes full control of Viktor. No longer feeling emotions, thus no need for empathy to stop him from doing atrocities. The core wants a glorious evolution, and it will turn everyone, whether they want to or not into it. Throughout the season, besides trying to stop the core, Viktor is still helping people. Helping Zaun. This would have led to him making Blitzcrank, the steam golem who cleans up the pollution chemicals of Zaun into a sentient being that is kind and heroic (ignoring this voice lines XD). It would have showed that Viktor was inventing machines to improve lives! Something we don’t see in arcane ;-;

A man who wanted to help humanity, transformed into something corrupted. There could have been so much potential in making Machine Herald. Seeing Viktor and Jayce be close, to then be enemies. The thing I had no idea about was if Jayce would have known that Viktor was being controlled or not. Either way it still would of been painful to see.

I'm writing this whole fic where the "what if" is that Chuck lives--which means Herc has to deal with his shit and not waste his second chance. But not before 50k+ words have occurred, including this part:

I decided to have a plot point be that Herc makes Chuck give Mako media training lessons before she departs on her world-tour with Raleigh, to help sell the Jaeger program and raise funds for the program (why do they still need it after the breach is closed? They’re trying to make the case that Jaegers can help rebuild coastal cities more cost-effectively, and also that they need to maintain a fighting force in case the kaiju open a breach somewhere else).

Now, Raleigh and Chuck were BOTH the heartthrobs of their respective Jaeger generations. Raleigh and Yancy were definitely in Seventeen Magazine and TeenVogue, and Chuck was actually in GQ with his dad (he likes to think he one-upped Raleigh there, even if he only landed GQ because of Herc). The media at the time dubbed Raleigh the young-and-the-restless “bad boy” while Yancy was the all-American “responsible” one in the duo, so that girls could have their pick. Scott and Herc had been given the same dynamic, respectively, but when Chuck came along, the media in Australia switched to “the hot DILF” here to protect you and your babies, and his son Chuck, a prodigy who graduated the academy at 16 and, now 18, was landing kill after kaiju kill with those Bondi beach surfer abs (never mind that Chuck spent his adolescence in the Sydney Shatterdome and inside training modules, with beach trips a rare luxury. The media wanted fantasy, not reality!). Needless to say, Raleigh and Chuck have excellent media training and know exactly the kinds of narratives the media wants to see. So Chuck, who wants to be irritable and mope as he recovers from his Operation Pitfall injuries, doesn’t understand why his dad, Marshal Hansen, is asking him to train Mako up instead of, you know, having Mako’s actual co-pilot help her with this. Raleigh can't help because he's going to the UN in New York with Herc, which makes Chuck VERY UPSET AND JEALOUS that Herc is choosing/preferring Raleigh over him (which is not the case - Herc knows the Americans have the most money to pony up, so he's bringing the golden boy home to shake them down, lol). It's a whole thing! Anyway, I forgot that I wrote this, and when I found it again, you better believe I wrote the phrase "Bondi beach surfer abs" into this WIP! XD
