Headcanons for all current Sebastian Versions including
-Sunkissed! Sebastian
-Octoboy! Sebastian
-AASB! Sebastian
and Human!Sebastian
SUNKISSED
—Sebastian is married you after graduating from university. He was very into IT while you were the art and crafts person. You two met because Sebastian was your private tutor and soon eough you started dating during university.
—He has a small journal where he writes important memories in of you during his time in the Blackside, since he is scared that he will forget those someday.
—He is touch starved since you are a very clingy person, and now he misses your warm hugs and gentle headpats.
—Homecooked meal person. He is the one doing the cooking and he kept the habit as best as he could in the blackside.
—He is overall softer, he had a good life before Urbanshade and it's showing in his personality. Sometimes he has a small moment of rage before going all quiet and soft, crying alone in the dark and blaming himself for everything that has happened.
OCTOBOY
—Sebastian has many faded bite scars on his hands, they are barely visible but still existing. He has the habit of feeding you, but you aren't good at aiming with your mouth, biting him and not the treat he tries to give you.
—His Shop is not as stuffed as original. Most items are secure on his tail or on high shelves, knowing that you are a bit too curious. Sebastian will always watch out that you are only able to reach the stuff that you are supposed to reach.
—Sometimes he is awake at night to think of good stories or songs that he can use for your bedstory time. He doesn't know any from his childhood so he improvises by sugarcoating the entities. Ah yes, did you ever counted Wall Dwellers jumping over a fence when you had a sleepless night?
—Sebastian gained the skills of a mother when he got you. Cleaning, cooking and babysitting are next to his usual activities on the top of his list. And should he be busy with scavenging then he just drops you of at Sasha or Painter.
—He would never say it but you are his new motivation to get out, to give you a better life and showing you that there is more.
AS ABOVE SO BELOW
—Sebastian is cold, manipulative, agressive and a master when it comes to deceiving people. He will gaslight you into believing he is your alley, he will gain your trust and he can and will play the knight in shining armor without feeling even a bit attached to you.
—He is violent and rough. Once you are on his bad side, you turn into his personal stress toy. Getting thrown to the side, getting pulled by the hair or even hits and slaps. He has no mercy and once you start to cry or scream, he just gags you and throws you in a locker.
—Yandere. If he ever falls in love, he would be a yandere type of lover. Love will blind him since it replaces his rage. Don't be fooled, he will be the toxic kind of yandere, suffocating you with his controlling behaviour to keep you safe.
—He is the most evil version of them all, showing plenty of red flags. And yet, there is a small, very small glimpse of kindness in him. He wouldn't admit it, but he wouldn't kill without an actual reason. That's it.
—Sebastian has a hand, or three, for tinkering and building stuff. So he will most likely just put together a tracker and put it on people he has a close eye on. You included. He's a little stalker, isn't aware tho.
HUMAN
—He will hang around the shop because of you. You are his favorite person and he thinks you are beautiful even after Urbanshade experimented on you.
—He will sing when hes alone. He would literally go through a dark hallway while singing a Katy Perry song since he once read that singing reduced anxiety and boredom. Doesn't mean he is good at singing.
—Most normal of them all and the most basic. Not much trauma, but enough sass. He will either jokinly insult you or share cooking tips.
—He is good at art, so he will doodle when he has a safe moment and takes a break.
—He smokes. Or at least used to smoke. He had to stop when he got to the Blackside but he was still suprised when you told him you could smell it on him.

An Odd Consolation
~ Sebastian Solace/GN!Reader
~ (Physical) Hurt/(Reluctant) Comfort
~ Platonic
~ 2.3k words
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How long has it been since you’ve gotten a first-aid kit? Five floors? Ten? You were starting to lose track. After an encounter with what felt like Jesus Christ himself punishing you for being an Expendable, your head felt all fuzzy and distracting. Though, realistically, it was Eyefestation paired with a bad crossing from the Good People and a sprinkle of face burns from a steaming pipe. Not fun!
Large gashes paint your chest, just from the claws of the Z-96. The skin on your face felt tight as a result of your painful first degree burns. The worst part about this program was the pain. Sure, you can die and respawn which was cool..you guessed.. but getting mowed down by an angler variant? Or getting electrocuted? Or the puddles of void mass crammed inside the lockers? Torn to shreds by wall dwellers? It all hurt terribly. Only to be cursed to wake up again, with Sebastian right in your face, and do it all over again– Unless you wish to be blown up, of course.
You weren’t even collecting data anymore. Your, now torn, jumpsuit had long been dried since the last flooded path you managed to stumble upon, which further supports your theory that whatever wet warmth is sticking the fabric to your skin, is the blood from your wounds. Clutching your chest in a self-hug of sorts to prevent any more blood from spilling out, albeit unsuccessfully, you force yourself to keep going.
Every time you stop for too long to catch your breath, the intercom chimes overhead, with the same staff voice telling you – threatening you – that you need to move forward, lest you want to be detonated where you stand. So, you push forward.
One wobbly step after the other into door, after door, after flooded hallway, after door. Only stopping to hide in a locker, hide from turrets, or to dive as quickly as you possibly can into another room to hide from any angler that even remotely sounds like Pandemonium.
You were tempted to just give up and open up your vulnerabilities to the next entity that wanted your head on a spike. That was your best option after all. A bit more pain to finally make it all go away for a while? Before you wake up again, that is. A new start..sounded frustrating, but so damn enticing.
However, you’re pulled from your thoughts when a vent is pushed open on its own. The metal grate clatters loudly against the concrete floor right at your feet, followed by a hushed “over here!”. You’d completely forgotten about Sebastian in your misery. The angler-mutant-thing that always managed to find where you died, bring you back to life, and borderline insult you for your performance. You weren’t sure if he was always watching you through the security cameras or if he was getting reports from the other monsters somehow, but you couldn’t care at the moment.
Stealing a quick glance around the dark room, spotting a few Squiddles lingering in the shadows, you’re focused on the two doors in the room, both key-card locked. The first, the navi-path interface sparked, despite the green numbers telling you “027”. You can already guess that Z-96 is behind it and Painter has infected the interface. The second door reads “049”, which makes much more sense to your pain-addled brain. You vaguely remember Sebastian giving a rough estimate to where his shop is located. Somewhere around fifty?
Dropping down onto your knees a bit too roughly, causing blunt pain to your kneecaps – hardly protected by the flimsy knee pads Urbanshade provided – you steal a cautious glance behind you for wall dwellers before crawling towards the vent. One arm supports most of the weight of your front half, as the other cradles your chest wounds. You feel like you can cry out of relief at the flicker of Sebastian’s lure, causing the room to illuminate.
“Welcome back, frien- eugh..” He starts. Comforting, you think sarcastically with a subtle roll of your eyes. Offering him a tightlipped smile as you stand up, gritting your teeth from the strain of your wounds as your muscles struggle to keep you upright. “What..happened to you?” Sebastian inquires, slightly judgemental, with a tilt of his head. His three eyes follow your each and every move. Watching as you silently shuffle across the small space, right towards his tail. Fully locked onto the medkit strapped to the appendage.
Stuffing your hand into the deep pockets of your jumpsuit and pulling out what little amount of data you have. A handful of USB sticks and some soggy files… equivalent to only ninety bucks. God damn it. Your lack of proper data hunting had come to bite you in the ass. With a sigh, you opt to just buy a battery with what little options you actually have. Your flashlight was running a bit low anyways.
Haphazardly tossing a few folders and USB sticks on the floor for Sebastian to pick up, you trudge up to the desk directly to the right of Sebastian. Several DNA casings rest atop it, illuminated by a small lamp, Several different colors for, what you can imagine are, all sorts of different species. The large document that you know belongs to Sebastian practically taunts you to read it, but you shift your gaze back to the batteries. Reaching forward to grab one with a bloodied hand, only to pause when a large, pointed claw pokes you in the shoulder nearly pushing you over. “Are you not gonna fix that?” Sebastian prompts as he tugs his four-clawed hand away from you, clasping it back over his left, watching silently as you fumble, catching yourself on the desk. He tuts at the bloody print left behind as you set your palms flat onto the dull-white surface. “Don’t have enough data..” You grumble tersely, shifting your feet better underneath yourself as your knees threaten to buckle. Snatching the battery off of the corner of the desk, you slip your hand into your pocket and fish out your flashlight. Flipping it over and trying to twist the bottom of it off, struggling only slightly with slippery hands but you manage, sliding the battery into its compartment and twisting the small cap back on. Sebastian is silent, for some reason. Usually, there was some smart ass comment about how he doesn’t give credit or insulting your lack of funds…but there’s nothing.
His eyes feel like they’re piercing into your soul as he stares down at you. You don’t pay attention to him. He’ll be there..just like always. Tucking your flashlight away, you grab the blue keycard off of the desk and turn back towards the vent with intent to leave Sebastian’s shop.
That was until you feel two large claws on your upper back as Sebastian grabs ahold of the slack of your torn jumpsuit. Picking you up by the fabric with a humiliating ease, as if you were a kitten being held up by its scruff.
“How stupid are you?” He scolds as he sets you down on his tail. Your boots almost slip against his scales, unused to the uneven surface beneath you, but Sebastian, with an annoyed sigh, grabs you as gently as he can muster, setting you on the ground again inside the inner curve of his tail to prevent your…idiotic…self from dying over some dumb mistake.
“It’s the least you could do..apart from not dying, that is.” Sebastian mutters under his breath, chuckling at his own remark. Using his two left arms, he unfastens the first-aid kit from the straps around his tail, holding it in place. It’s too damn small in his claws, so he hands it off to you. Setting it, rather roughly, in your arms.
Stunned, you hesitate. What was he playing at? He would never give you free stuff. In fact, he would probably shoot you if you even asked. Staring down at the medical kit, jaw slightly agape. Sebastian huffs, plucking the kit from your hands again and flicking off the top with his...thumb? “You idiot…” He grumbles, dumping the contents onto his large palm, handing it down to you. The plastic lid and container tossed aside uselessly. A thick roll of gauze, bandages, skin tape, epinephrine, burn cream, antiseptic wipes..the usual insides. You raise your gaze up to meet Sebastian’s own, much more impatient one. Slowly reaching out and taking the gauze into your hands, grabbing a hold of the loose end and strapping it to your side, pinching it down beneath your fingers to your ribs. Pulling the roll back around your back, switching hands to get the other side, before completely around your chest. It fucking stings..bad. You can feel your blood trying to soak through the fibrous material, subsequently sticking it to your wound. But, you know it’s for the best. Trying to avoid Sebastian’s critical eye as you work, having to pause for a moment due to an ache in your bicep muscles from the repetitive motion. “Why are you helping me?” You question warily. Your voice causes Sebastian’s ear fins to flick every so slightly. Shrugging noncommittally, he sets down the extra materials on his tail in front of you, leaving it up for grabs as you need it.
“You needed it, didn’t you?” Sebastian scrutinized, inspecting the ring on his third hand, so he’s not creepily watching you bandage yourself. “That’s… not what I asked.” You huff, finally getting your chest tissue and ribs covered up. Looking up at Sebastian as he skims the small shop, like he hadn’t seen it before. Not-so-subtly moving his left hand down, using his claw to cut off the spare gauze attached to the roll, allowing you the proper amount you need.
“I know.” He states. “And I don’t care.” You hum suspiciously, but don’t push it. He was helping you out for free, why would you complain? Pinning down the loose gauze strand to your side once again, you use your free hand to finagle the edge of the skin tape, yanking it unceremoniously to grab a bit more slack you can actually use. Silently lifting it up by the edge, letting the roll freely dangle, wordlessly asking Sebastian to cut it as well.
Surprisingly, he complies. Swiping a claw against the tape, freeing it from the roll, causing it to hit the floor at your feet. Awkwardly adjusting the strap to prevent it from sticking to itself, you can pin down your gauze.
“Sit.” Sebastian demands, gingerly tugging on the back of your jumpsuit, causing you to lose balance and tumble backwards, landing right on your ass. It hurts a bit, but the pain quickly subsides. Your back pressed up against his firm tail, tilting your head back to be able to stare up at him. “What?” you question, only to be met with silence. He ignores you completely, but he doesn’t let you get up. Tucking his third hand up underneath your chin, keeping your head tilted up towards him. The coldness of his ring against your skin causes it to prickle with goosebumps, but you don’t mind much. Peering down at your half-burned face, his claw accidentally digs into a blister, causing you to hiss in pain. You didn’t really plan to do anything about the burn, just wanting your bleeding to stop, but Sebastian had other plans. “Sit.” He repeats firmly, as if you were going to get up and scurry off. His second left hand grabs ahold of the small tube of burn cream, puncturing it with ease before spreading a small amount on the length of his claw between the first knuckle and the second. Using the blunt side to massage the cream into your face, all while holding your jaw like an uncooperative pet.
Sitting still, you allow Sebastian to cover your burns. It’s an action neither of you are particularly used to, but neither try to jerk away from the other. With a sigh, you relax against him, closing your eyes. His skin isn’t particularly soft, feeling more like the grit of a cat’s tongue, but he seems to take more caution around it. Sebastian’s not exactly warm either, but he’s comfortable, at least. “Why’re you helpin’ me..?” You mumble, pulling your knees up to your chest to get a bit more cozy against the floor. You can feel your lower back tingling slightly as it begins to go numb, but shifting more will only cause more pain. “Because you lack the self-preservation skills to do it yourself.” Sebastian grunts, more focused on coating your face in petroleum jelly rather than his responses. Removing his hand from your face and draping it over you, making you feel incredibly small. His ear fins fluttering at the sound of an angler screeching as it rushes down the hall, searching for you. You hum monotonously in acknowledgement, subconsciously tensing at the sound, despite knowing it wouldn’t be able to reach you through the vent. “You’re not falling asleep on me. You still have things to do.” He states firmly, but he makes no actual effort to move you away from him. Pleased with the coverage on your face, Sebastian finally pulls his hand away, wiping the remaining residue on your jumpsuit. “‘m not.” You agree, but you know you’re probably lying.
You never really realize how exhausted you are until you’re on the verge of tears from pain alone and forced to keep moving. Kept on edge, stressed to the end of your wits. You knew you should get going. This was weird. Not to mention, Sebastian was usually an asshole..but you don’t move. Readjusting yourself underneath his large hand, acting as a blanket, you curl up into the curve of his tail, resting your head against it.
“Don’t let me get eaten..” You slur in your exhaustion, earning a small hum from Sebastian, not exactly giving you any sort of indication if he would or wouldn’t. Instead, he rests his thumb atop your head, moving it ever-so-slightly back and forth over your hair in a “petting” motion. He would probably charge you double next run, but as you began to fall asleep on him, you couldn’t bring yourself to care. At least you weren’t dead.

so about that in-depth post i owe ya
this is about the hlvrai undead au, so warning for major injuries, death, and body horror ahead! i wanted to go into more detail about how each cast member does (or doesn’t) die.
imagine, for a moment, that you are Gordon Freeman.
you’ve just arrived late to work on the day of the big experiment. you run through the halls as fast as you can to the locker room to get your HEV suit on. at the gate, you’re stopped by a random security guard who asks for your passport and hassles you about not being allowed in. you finally get past him, and then run into a fellow scientist that you’ve seen around. he introduces himself as Tommy and mentions something about soda. he seems upset about something, but that’s none of your business. you reach the locker room, and there you find Dr. Coomer- a clone of Dr. Coomer, to be exact, one of hundreds- and you politely address him, though he seems a little scatterbrained, then get suited up and head out. you’re almost there when you pass a commotion. looks like some of the scientists are manhandling an old guy in a hospital gown while he screeches at them about tubes and free will. that’s none of your business, and you’re way behind on schedule, so you continue on. you reach the test chamber, enter, and start setting up the experiment. Tommy, the employee you ran into earlier, is up in the observation room giving you instructions with a couple other scientists. you get to the point that you’re starting to push the crystal into the beam when something catches your eye.
up on one of the walkways is a skeleton.
that’s not possible, skeletons don’t just walk around without bodies, but it makes you pause for a moment before the scientists above loudly announce for you to continue with the experiment. it must just be stress making you see things, that’s all.
you push the crystal into the beam, and everything goes terribly, terribly wrong.
the machine overloads. a beam of green energy blasts through the window of the observation room, and the last you hear of the shutdown efforts is a collective scream. in your panic, you trip and your helmet falls off. now you’re absorbing god-knows-how-much radiation, but it doesn’t end there. a ball of brilliant verdant light builds in the center of the machine, shaking the room and lifting you off your feet, giving you a moment to watch in horror as you recognize the theoretical disaster that is a Resonance Cascade, before a massive shockwave throws you like a ragdoll against the wall of the chamber hard enough to crack your skull. arcs of plasma prickle across your exposed face, and you die.
except you don’t.
you could’ve sworn that you died, it really felt like you should’ve, but you wake up in the test chamber with a raging headache and a strange feeling in your chest. it’s not clear how much time has passed, but you know one thing for certain: you need to get out of Black Mesa.
long before the Resonance Cascade where everything went horribly wrong, a few crucial events occurred that inevitably lead to these unforeseen consequences.
a decade or so ago, Black Mesa and Aperture Science got into a legal battle that resulted in an exchange of leadership between the two companies. a direct consequence of this was harsh cutbacks on safety regulations in the Black Mesa facility, leading to a high employee turnaround and an even higher death record. management needed a solution for their dwindling population, so instead of robots or fewer OSHA violations, they created the Longevity Department. this department was responsible for finding any means to defy death and hopefully a way to reliably revive the heaps of lost staff so they wouldn’t have to hire new employees. there were many attempts made at simulating immortality, but none were particularly successful. eventually, they started dealing with a mysterious entity known as the G-man who provided the company with crystals from Xen, a dimension that existed outside of the concepts of life and death. but these crystals were meant to be used as a power source to solve Black Mesa’s growing power shortages, and they weren’t a main factor in the Longevity Department’s goals.
so what happened to the other members of the Science Team?
Benrey was your average security guard, a normal human who liked playing video games on his off time. his best friend was Tommy, one of the scientists that was hired a few years back and a bit of a quirky guy but nonetheless fun to hang with. Tommy’s been acting weird and sad though, and Benrey doesn’t know what’s up. on the day of the fateful test, the main man who was supposed to put the thing in the thing was late, so when he showed up Benrey decided to tease him a bit. when he finally let the guy go, Benrey was called to report elsewhere and help with a disturbance. he decided to take the rickety definitely unsafe elevator that didn’t have safety railings with some other employees. he and some other guards had a running competition for who could jump from the highest point on this particular elevator on the way down, so Benrey decided to show off to the boring scientists and hopped off early. in dnd terms, he rolled for athletics with disadvantage and no proficiency bonus and hit two nat ones. in a moment of tragic absurdity, Benrey hit the ground at such a bad angle he managed to break his neck. he was dead by the time the elevator stopped a few seconds later, and the scientists sighed about yet another security guard down and called for a cleanup crew.
Dr. Coomer was not the first Dr. Coomer, and he expected he would not be the last. the original Dr. Coomer was a great scientist who sadly contracted a terminal disease (completely unrelated to unprotected exposure to vats of green goop) and was ‘volunteered’ for the Longevity Department’s cloning experiments. cloning is not a perfect process, and many of the Coomers that are produced have serious health issues that kill them almost immediately. the ones that survive have to be augmented with various cybernetics to continue living, and due to the quality of parts every clone has about a 50/50 shot of their bodies rejecting the implants and dying anyway. the particular Dr. Coomer in the locker room that greeted Dr. Freeman was not only on the cusp of organ failure, but the implants in his brain had caused a fatal amount of swelling. he was supposed to be under observation, but he had managed to wander away from the other scientists and to the locker he was sure was his. shortly after Dr. Freeman left the locker room, he was found by the scientists from the cloning department. they tried to convince him to come back with them, to which he agreed, walked violently into a wall, and died on the spot.
Bubby was born in a test tube and he did not want to die in a test tube. creating test tube babies was an imperfect science, and the ‘experiments’ were subjected to accelerated aging, short lifespans, and a plethora of health issues. Bubby hadn’t spent years stuck breathing fluid then years more in physical therapy running tests to see if he could survive outside just for his body to betray him and get him thrown back in the darn tube at the end. thanks to an old friend, he managed to sneak out amidst all the hubbub surrounding some new fancy power source test. unfortunately, his body was no longer able to sustain itself outside of suspension, and his organs began to collapse on themselves under the weight of gravity. Bubby was caught halfway across the facility when his legs were too weak to run and his lungs didn’t want to cooperate anymore. he put up as best a fight as he could- his greatest wish was to see the outside before he kicked it, but failing that he absolutely refused to die in that tube- and a final bit of luck blessed him that his struggling overloaded his failing body. he fell unconscious before they could get the proper equipment, and within minutes, was dead.
and then there’s Tommy. due to his nature as a psychopomp, Tommy has a certain instinct for when someone is about to die. he was aware that Bubby wouldn’t make it and there would soon be another Coomer clone for the biohazard bin, but what upset him the most was his best friend Benrey. Tommy’s dad had warned him about getting attached to people in this line of work, but Tommy couldn’t help it. He was young (by supernatural standards) and he still had a lot to learn. He couldn’t tell Benrey what was going to happen of course, even if he did, it wouldn’t change his fate. So, as a way to say goodbye, he spent some extra time playing video games with his buddy before the day he was fated to die. this also happened to be the day Tommy was supposed to observe one of Black Mesa’s tests using a Xen crystal G-man had procured as part of his deal with the company. nothing major, just a simple experiment that would be over in less than an hour. Gordon Freeman would be the scientist handling the machinery, and Tommy already had a vague idea of when his time would be up. the man had a terrible habit of not double checking the seal on his helmet, and one day enough radiation would seep in to be fatal.
on the day of the test, everything went off as expected. Tommy felt it when Coomer, Bubby, and Benrey each fell, and though he was upset he planned on collecting their souls to guide them after the test. Gordon entered the chamber, Tommy and the other scientists instructed him step by step, and then-
well, for a being who has a sixth sense for life and death, the Resonance Cascade’s disruption of that balance, the outcry of every soul in the facility at once, and the screaming sensation that everything was wrong got to Tommy the moment things started going badly. he opened a door to the void and disappeared moments before the beam of energy struck the observation room. thus, he survived unscathed. returning to the destroyed facility was an overstimulating experience, but it was even more of a shock to find three people that should have absolutely been dead and gone running around and dodging newly created hazards.
far from the epicenter in the defunded Cybernetics Department, Darnold manages to survive the waves of Xenergy and holes himself up in his lab so the zombies and the US military can’t get him.
Joshua also exists in this! he’s the one character that is actually an ai. Gordon is constantly chosen for the HEV suit grunt work instead of being able to do the science behind the experiments, so to combat his frustration and boredom he messed around with artificial intelligence in his spare time. this led to the accidental creation of an actually sentient AI in his work computer that he named Joshua and labeled his son. he knows it would be very, very bad if Black Mesa found out about Joshua, so he keeps him a secret and has asked one of the much more stable Coomer clones to watch over him while he’s away. when the Rescas hits, Coomer is still watching Joshua, and when it becomes clear that things have suddenly gotten very bad, Coomer takes Joshua with him to try and find Gordon. the two have a series of misadventures in the facility while the Science Team are having their journey until eventually Tommy sends Sunkist to find Gordon’s son. from there, Sunkist takes Joshua and reunites him with his dad at Chuck E Cheese after the Benrey fight.

FNAF in DBD concepts:
So we all probably heard that FNAF is officially Dead by Daylight's Anniversary chapter for next year, and it's all but confirmed that the killer will be Springtrap, but here are some other predictions and concepts I have. These likely aren't happening it would just be fun.
Springtrap - Vanny Visceral Skin

Pretty self-explanatory. If Springtrap is the chapter's killer (which it most likely is) then Vanny would be a great visceral skin for him. I would say Legendary, but I feel like Vanny would have completely different animations to Springtrap due to not being a robot.
The Dredge - Mangle Legendary Skin

I think this would go hard, as it would be a mess of wires with her main head being obviously the Toy Foxy head, whilst the rest of him would be a mangle of animatronic parts. I think something cool would be if instead of goopy noises, she made radio static noises and metallic sounds. He'd have to have more added wires and limbs to make up for Dredge's size but it doesn't have to be a 1-for-1 recreation anyway.
The Unknown - Michael/Ennard Legendary Skin

This would go hard I think. It would be pretty similar to the Unknown's default design, just purple and more zombie-looking I guess. I think the Unknown works for this idea since it really gives the appearance of a non-human entity wearing human skin to appear humanoid, and that's more of less what Ennard was doing with Michael's rotting corpse. Maybe facially it could look somewhat similar to Josh Hutcherson but that's a bit of a stretch.
Dwight - Nightguard Inspired Costume
Usually, with big video game licenses like this, one of DBD's original survivors gets a skin, typically either Dwight or Feng. While I could see Feng decked out in a Chica cosplay or something of that sort, that seems a bit too out there I guess. I think it would make more sense to see Dwight in a FNAF-inspired outfit, either based on the movie or the graphic novel's security guard design. Hell, maybe he'll just get a purple shirt or a shirt with a Fazbear design on it, idk.
The Map
So I know a lot of people want the map to just be based on one location. However, I personally have a different idea in mind. Similar to the Saw map, they could merge different locations together. If it's a one-for-one recreation of, let's say, Fazbear's Frights, we'd get another situation like RPD, where it's accurate to the original game but also not great for DBD's gameplay. Instead, I think it would be interesting to have rooms and locations based on all of the games. Maybe the office is the iconic FNAF 1 office, and then there's Pirate's Cove, but also the Puppet's music box is here, and there are some broken animatronics lying around that are from various different games. It would also make sense lore-wise since, in DBD, the maps are taken from the character's memories, so it would be like an amalgamation of Springtrap's memories, for example. It would be more interesting than trying to choose one of the iconic FNAF locations, and turning it into a DBD map.
Map Easter Eggs
Adding to my last point, whatever map they decide to go for should be similar to Midwich, RPD and Nostromo, in my opinion. Not structure-wise, but rather with the easter eggs. Midwich has girls crying in bathrooms, shaking bodies, bodies falling out of lockers, and RPD has zombies outside the windows and the save menu music playing in the safe room. Nostromo has the face-hugger in the window, Jonesy in the lockers, and the MU-TH-UR room, and if they added this level of love to the FNAF map, that would be amazing. Some ideas would be hearing the music box music near the Puppet's box (and maybe even the Puppet leaping up from the box), JJ under the office table sometimes, the audio of Chica in the kitchen playing behind the Kitchen door, the Cupcake wandering around and Shadow Freddy/Bonnie randomly appearing in the hallway but then disappearing when you turn around. Stuff like that.

My Stargate Rewatch continues!
On to Episode 7 of Season 1 of Stargate - Cold Lazarus. Despite writing a lot about it, I’m not sure how I felt about this one.
SG1 are on a planet with bright yellow sand and broken blue crystals scattered around. While Sam and Daniel are examining the crystals, Jack walks a bit further away, takes a closer look at one intact crystal, and gets zapped! And a copy of him returns through the Stargate to earth.
There’s not much to report about the crystals so SG1 are on downtime until their next mission. The copy looks through some photos and letters in Jack’s locker, and we see it has some of Jack’s memories, before it goes to Sara’s house ‘to find Charlie’. Sara (and her dad, who is at the house because Sara is fixing his car) interpret this as Jack struggling with his grief. The copy eventually collapses after some awkward conversations with Sara, though I get the sense that the conversations help Sara as Jack has never talked about it before.
Meanwhile, Sam and Daniel have stayed on base and Sam is investigating the crystals. She realises the blast marks look like staff weapon blasts, so they get Teal’c to shoot one of the crystals with his staff weapon. In the gate room. Without asking permission 😀 Eventually they’re able to communicate with the crystal entity. Meanwhile, the real Jack returns through the gate and is not happy about being locked up.
Janet confirms Jack is really Jack, the crystal explains that the Goa’uld destroyed them after an Goa’uld was accidentally killed on the planet, and Sam realises that the crystal is emitting dangerous radiation, and the copy will be doing the same. They track the copy down to the hospital, and SG1 go in to recover it, meaning that Sara, who brought the copy to the hospital, realises what’s going on.
The copy explains it was trying to heal Jack, but ‘your deepest pain was not physical’ and takes the form of Charlie. SG1 take it back to the SGC, and Jack takes it back through the gate.
Further Thoughts
I have mixed feelings about this episode. It’s interesting to see a truly ‘alien’ species, and the plot gives viewers more background to Jack’s character, especially if they haven’t seen the film. We find out how Jack closed himself off after Charlie’s death, and how that affected his relationship with Sara. The line about Jack’s deepest pain not being physical was really moving. But in some ways the episode feels ‘off’ and the issue of how it’s all explained to Sara is never explained.
It’s also annoying that when they realise the copy came through the gate, they search the base for it, but don’t bother to check the security logs to see if the copy left the base, even though we know from Children of the Gods that the base is high security and you have to sign in and out. Continuity, what continuity!
Some interesting points I noticed
- SG1 are checked for radiation after they’ve come through the gate - did that continue? The reaction to an unauthorised off-world activation is intense. But there were no checks that identified that the copy wasn’t the real Jack?
- They still have a shared locker room (surely there’s space for a separate women’s locker room!). I assume this is military only. Ferreti’s name is on the locker next to Jack’s.
- Sam talks about her brother and his family, and that she misses seeing them as they’re in San Diego. But I’ve read that later in the series she says they’re not close.
- Sam doesn’t know that Jack has a family, and says to Daniel that she’s worked with Jack for months but knows nothing about him. Daniel then explains what happened to Charlie.
- Downtime for SG1 is mentioned for the first time, but Sam and Daniel stay on the base to research the crystals. Them staying on-base during downtime happens in various fics too, so it seemed like a cliche to see it.
- Teal’c asks Jack (actually the copy) to show him more of earth, as Jack has promised to do this. We see his quarters (very empty ☹️) and see him watching TV (riots on the news and heavy metal music). Not the best impression of earth!
- Daniel calls Sam ‘Captain Carter’ when they’re investigating the crystals, so they’re still quite formal with each other at this point.
- Sam says ‘Holy Hannah!’ when the crystal first moves, which I think is the first time we hear her say it. It crops up a lot in fanfic.
- When the real Jack is in the holding cell and talking to the camera, we see Sam smiling at his antics 🥰
- Teal’c wants to take his staff weapon with him when they go to the hospital, based on his TV viewing, but Hammond gently takes the staff weapon away from Teal’c and gives him a baseball cap to wear 😀
- In the hospital, SG1 have torches just like the torches Mulder and Scully used to use in The X Files - very bright beams that illuminate nothing 😀
I still can’t decide if I liked the episode. Onto episode 8 next - The Nox.

Rogue Protocol, Chapter 2
(Curious what I'm doing here? Read this post! For the link index and a primer on The Murderbot Diaries, read this one! Like what you see? Send me a Ko-Fi.)
In which Murderbot tries to figure out why this feels different.
(As an aside, my apologies if I use she/her pronouns for Miki at any point during its presence. For some reason, I have no problem tracking Murderbot as it, and I only rarely get the impulse to gender Art with he/him, but my brain will not stop trying to she/her Miki because it's so soft and sweet and a perfect cinnamon roll, even though that's not necessarily gendered at all. Incredible how we internalize our perceptions of gender, even after a good ten years of trying to deprogram myself, and spending most of those out as nonbinary myself!)
MB takes a shortcut off the transport, so it doesn't have to spend more time with the doomed humans it can't save. It's becoming old hat to hack SecSystems to allow it through weapons scans. It stops to buy some data clips, noticing that its hard currency card still has lots left on it, and thinks that Tapan and crew must have paid it generously.(1)
MB finds the transport headed for Milu, and confirms its details. It's on a 47-cycle schedule, and expects to be cleared within two cycles. MB normally likes to negotiate passage, but this one is so limited in scope, it just hacks its memory to board. MB scouts the ship and its capabilities, and settles on a bunk, not realizing the bedding in one of the lockers is there for a reason.
Twenty-ish hours later, the life support cycles on. MB queries the transport, and gets word that two passengers are boarding, and the transport is now filing a departure time. MB hustles to a less-accessible locker, and stuffs itself into the back, hiding itself behind supplies. With the transport's drones, it has a decent idea of what's going on outside, even without security cameras.
Sixteen minutes later, the lock cycled and two passengers came aboard. Two augmented humans, carrying traveling packs and a couple of cases I recognized immediately. Combat gear, including armor and weapons.
MB is a little surprised, as its understanding is that bots are much more commonly used for combat than humans, even with the corporate and political entities that have treaties against combat bot use. Or, at least, those sorts of entities finding a way around the restrictions is a common plot on serials from outside the Corporation Rim.(2)
The humans don't talk much, but it was too much to hope, really, that they would say why they're going to Milu. MB sets the drones up to record, and settles in with its shows until it has enough to run analysis.
It took twenty cycles by Ship’s local time to get to Milu.
MB thought it would be fine, as it can remember being shipped in transport boxes and cubicles for longer trips. But, it's gotten accustomed to traveling as a human, not cargo. In the end, it's used to having freedom of movement.
It's rather relieved when the ship reports it's on approach to Milu. Only, the station feed is completely lifeless, and it creeps MB out, even knowing the station is approaching final shutdown for the same reason it's here to investigate.
MB checks the analysis of the drone recordings, and finds that the two humans, Wilken and Gerth, are security consultants, subcontracted for GoodNightLander Independent, or GI. They filed abandonment on GrayCris's deserted facility, trying to take possession and prevent its disintegration. The research group these two are hired to work for were sent by GI to report on the station's status. It's exactly the job MB and its model are designed for, but there's no bond and no SecUnits involved.(3)
As the ship docks, MB puts all the memory chips into a space under the skin next to its right arm's energy weapon, since it's going to leave the knapsack in the locker. It disembarks a safe time after the humans leave, poking around to see if they left anything behind first, but no luck. It leaves the ship in a maintenance status, and makes it think it needs MB's permission to leave, so it won't be stranded.
It disembarks, and follows Gerth and Wilken on the working security cameras, using its code to delete itself from those same cameras. The humans head to what a schematic says is the Port Authority/Cargo Control office. A motion-sensitive ad goes off in front of MB as it makes its way, and it barely doesn't scream. It's never seen emergency marker paint used that way before and hates it very much.
MB finds a maintenance/weapon scanner drone, and repurposes it for spying. The humans have found two other humans, and a human-form bot. MB has complex feelings about all-construct bots like this one. They aren't popular, because their capabilities are unremarkable, and they're often used to portray the evil SecUnits in the media, which MB isn't annoyed at one bit.
The new humans are introduced as Don Abene and Hirune, and the bot as Miki. Introducing a bot is highly unusual, and the consultants mostly ignore it. Abene hopes they won't need security, but there's no way to be sure before they go in.
They go over some possible scenarios, and MB feels a little smug about two things: one, that it knows more about terraforming than these clown security humans, and two, that even humans sometimes find it hard to hide their facial expressions.
As the humans head inside and keep talking, though, Miki looks up, directly at the drone MB is watching through. It focuses directly on the camera.(4) MB looses the drone, wiping its memory, and letting it go back to its normal patrol route. Miki doesn't move, but does send a ping into the aether, as it were, to see if anything will reply. MB, for its part, makes sure it's not leaking any signals and tightens up its walls. It assumes Miki picked up the ad MB set off, or a whisper in the feed, and tries not to think about it.
Eventually, MB finds a place where it can get a connection to the yes, just two cameras inside the Port Authority offices. It catches enough to gather that their first trip will be short, just twelve hours, then back for a rest period. This should give MB plenty of time to find what it needs, but there's one problem: getting onto the ship they're taking.
I was going to have to make friends with the stupid pet robot.
While the humans take a rest period, MB has about three hours to seduce Miki into helping it onto the transport. Miki, for its part, is extremely friendly and completely guileless. When MB asks Miki not to tell anyone that it's here, Miki says it tells Don Abene everything, because she's its friend. MB realizes it's going to be even more annoyed than it expected.
MB explains to Miki that its existence must be secret to keep the humans safe. Miki asks it to promise, and after a moment of hesitant flabbergast-ery, it does. When Miki asks for a name, MB offers Security Consultant Rin, and Miki immediately calls that it's not MB's real name. MB says that's what it wants to be called, and Miki accepts this, and says it will be Rin's friend and help the team.
When MB asks for access to the shuttle's system, Miki hands it over, no further questions asked. It finds that there's no bot pilot, and no SecSystem. This tracks with what it's heard about the regions outside the Rim, that they focus on external threats, not internal ones, but that's not what MB is used to deal with. It does think about what Preservation might be like to live in, but squishes that idea as fast as it can.(5)
MB figures there's no problem to find a place to hide out in the shuttle, but it will have no monitoring capability whatsoever when it does. So, it debases itself again, and asks Miki if it will agree to be Rin's eyes and ears, warning that sometimes Rin might have to speak through Miki to warn Miki's… friends. Miki, again, agrees eagerly.
This felt way too easy. I almost suspected a trap. Or … Miki, have you been directed to reply to every query with a yes? No, Consultant Rin, Miki said, and added, amusement sigil 376 = smile. Or Miki was a bot who had never been abused or lied to or treated with anything but indulgent kindness. It really thought its humans were its friends, because that’s how they treated it. I signaled Miki I would be withdrawing for one minute. I needed to have an emotion in private.(6)
=====
(1) I dare say they were all grateful for its help and them all coming out the other side alive. (2) I think this is actually a really important and telltale spot. Wells, through MB, is telling us that MB doesn't know everything about the society in which it lives, only that for which it has context. Which, nobody knows the full context for their society, not really, not even political leaders. But we're so inclined to take MB at its word, to take its statements as fact. I think this is a really important reminder that that's not always the case. (3) How odd. Why might they not want a SecUnit involved in this one? (4) Even our old pal Murderbot might be underestimating this one. (5) The thought process makes out like it thinks Preservation would just be boring, but I can't help but think there's some longing behind the comment. (6) What do you think Murderbot is feeling here? Jealousy? Embarrassment? Guilt? Anger? I don't think just one emotion can really capture it all, myself, but "an emotion" is punchier than "emotions".

I was wondering if I could pls get some x reader for Jonah Vasquez from dbd he is my fav character and there really isn’t anything on him I’m not picky on what you want to write thx have a lovely day
Honestly don't know much about his character lmao
Jonah Vasquez x reader
You guys both sat around the campfire and were just chatting. He stared at you with interest as you went on a rampant about how the Entity should at least get you some cute cosmetics if she's gonna put you through all this suffering. He smiled and let out a small laugh and shook his head.
You threw up your hands in the air and let out a noise of frustration. Black smoke surrounded you and you made a deadpan face "Oh fuck" you said and you disappeared. Jonah chuckled then stopped as the smoke enveloped him as well. "Shit..." Then he disappeared as well.
He walked over to your upset form, your arms were crossed over your chest and you leaned on one side of your leg making your hip pop out. You looked over at him and smirked "So she got you too huh? Well this will be fun" you say already coming up with a plan to fuck around with the killer. Jonah knew what you were up to and was totally down.
As you spawned into the world you walked across the map and found a secure gen. You started on it and decided to find Jonah then start messing with the killer. You soon finished the gen and found Jonah.
You leaned into his ear and whispered "Alright so you find the killer and get into a locker and I'll shine a flashlight in their eyes so they free you and were just gonna keep doing that" you smirked and he nodded "Alright sounds fun but if you fuck up imma beat the shit outta you" he said and held a fist up. You let out a loud laugh and tossed your head back, being dramatic as always.
Your heart started beating rapidly and you looked at Jonah and froze. You both nodded and very loudly sprinted inside the shack. You hid behind as crate and Jona slammed the locker shut. The killer, The doctor, walked in bat in hand and giggled. He opened the locker and grabbed Jonah. You then rushed and clicked on your flashlight and shined it in The doctors eyes causing him to drop Jonah then shake his head. You giggled and Jonah let out a loud laugh and you both sprinted out and ran into a huge house.
The doctor was on your tail, you ran behind Jonah and protected him from The doctors hits. Jonah opened a locker and slammed it shut. The doctor ignored him and went after you, you circled around him and he hit the wall. You let out a loud but short obnoxious laugh. Your eyes filled up with tears and your side ached. You ran out of the building and hid but that was short lived as The doctor somehow saw you.
You cursed under your breath and ran back into the building. You saw a locker and quickly got in it careful to not slam it. But as you backed into it you noticed Jonah was in it as well. "What the fuck are you doing?" You whispered shouted "What are you doing?" He retorted. You huffed "I had to run from that ugly ass fucker he wasn't falling for the locker trick and I needed to hide" you said
You tried to position yourself so now you and Jonah are facing each other. You didn't know how both of you fit but you weren't going out there just yet. The doctor neared and soon was about to open the locker then you slammed it open. It slapped him on the head and knocked him down. "Take that bitch!" You yelled and grabbed Jonah's hand and you both ran out of there. "Your fucking crazy" he said and followed you.
Gens went off in the distance and soon you were able to escape. You and Jonah were able to successfully escape without a scratch. You both grinned at each other and joked about the match when you got back to camp. You told everyone about it and had a good laugh.

@voicestm | continued Immediately, she regrets her wording. It seemed, much like her good friend Blight, the lady of crows suffered an affliction that prevented speech. With apologetic eyes, she paused her own movement to stay still and take in what she was trying to say. Me? "My jacket?" She searched her eyes for worry or approval. "You like my jacket." Kira understood. She doesn't hesitate in her generosity, taking it off her shoulders, and pulling it from her equipment belt. It's her custom Umbrella Security Services jacket with her vampiric high collar, form accentuating pleats, and wide pointed tail coats. It was only a matter of time before the Entity would replace it back in her locker, so she feels no remorse in parting with it, as long as she gets to keep her notepad, cigarette case, and lighter, which she pockets in her trousers.
"It's yours, if you like."

SCP-4444, "The Dream Machine"
Item #: SCP-4444
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4444 is to be stored in a reinforced, high-security locker that is to be accessible only to Level 3+ personnel, due to the potentially revealing images presented. Every significant dream revealed must be documented and submitted to Site-██
Description: SCP-4444 is a metallic box measured at 1m x .5m x .75m, with two cable ports with 1.5m length cables, one of which is connected to a metallic object resembling a miner's cap. The side of the box is labeled, "See your dreams in person!" SCP-4444 came into Foundation custody after the storage key of Person of Interest [DATA EXPUNGED] was acquired. Inside the storage unit was a multitude of Group of Interest paraphernalia, with a focus on mechanical-based GOIs. SCP-4444 was one of the few to be both intact and operational.
SCP-4444 must be plugged into a monitor to function. Once it has been, the cap must be slipped onto a sleeping humanoid's head, which will then cause their dreams to be projected onto the connected screen. If the individual is not dreaming, an amalgamation of past dreams, ideals, and the imagination of the individual will craft a dream and send it to the display. Should the connected individual be hooked together to SCP-4444 for an extended time, the box will begin to rattle before opening, allowing the dream to begin manifesting in the real world; this can be stopped if the device is unplugged, the cap is detached, or if the individual wakes up.
Testing Log:
Subject: D-3291 Time Dreaming: Twenty minutes. Dream Displayed: A Christmas party involving the subject at their job prior to incarceration. Subject was shown opening presents, eating food, and drinking champagne. Dream came to a close when subject began to enter his car in the dream.
Subject: D-094 Time Dreaming: 1 hour Dream Displayed: A field of flowers. After exceeding the time limit, the box's vent port opened and flower petals left it. Soon afterwards flowers began to sprout up out of the ground. They were mowed down after the testing ended.
Subject: [REDACTED], who claimed to be haunted by a recurring night terror that they couldn't remember. Time Dreaming: 45 minutes Dream Displayed: A shadowy horror chasing subject. As the time approached the time to cut the feed, the doors jammed, allowing the time to bypass the limit. The vent port opened and a dark shadow exited. It manifested as the screen turned to static; the entity killed the subject before retreating back into the box.
Subject: SCP-5723. "Yam"; testing overseen by Agent Sapphire. Time Dreaming: 10 minutes Dream Displayed: SCP-5723 fusing with SCP-2113, "The Gaia Seed", transforming into a large plant monster. Agent Sapphire, the leader of the strike team Omicron-5, "The Misfits", recognized the potential danger should the session continue. Afterwards it was found that SCP-2113 indeed was partially moved in its containment.

A state grand jury has returned a 21-count superseding indictment against seven individuals and three corporate entities, following an investigation of an alleged longstanding family-operated prostitution ring at Club 35 in Sayreville.
The investigation into the strip club along Route 35 revealed that it doubled as a house of prostitution that generated millions of dollars in revenue, said state Attorney General Matthew Platkin.
Computer hard drives seized in a search of the club contained hundreds of hours of video surveillance footage from security cameras showing various dancers performing sexual acts on patrons in the VIP rooms, Platkin said.
Evidence seized in a search of the club included hundreds of condoms, lubricant and sex toys, Platkin said.
The search of the club also turned up a large bag containing approximately 700 condoms, Platkin said, and condoms were also stocked in a vending machine in the club’s locker room for dancers to purchase.
The investigation found that customers paid a fee to the business to enter the VIP area for private dances, then had the option of paying additional variable fees directly to dancers for sex during the time in the VIP rooms, Platkin said.
The proceeds moved through numerous bank accounts controlled by the defendants, which were used to conceal the source of the funds, Platkin said.
MyCentralJersey.com has reached out to the defendants' attorney for comment.
“Our investigation determined that the operators of Club (35) were using various illegal means to turn their club into a multimillion-dollar racket,” the attorney general said in a press release Friday morning.
The grand jury voted Monday to file criminal charges against Anthony Acciardi Sr., Doreen Acciardi and Stephen Acciardi, all from Freehold, as well as Anthony Acciardi Jr., of Old Bridge, all of whom owned or managed Club 35.
Other alleged co-conspirators charged are Jennifer Hecker, a dancer who allegedly solicited undercover detectives for commercial sex acts; Jeannine Nichols, a club manager who is the sister of Doreen Acciardi; and Jason Portes, Nichols’ husband who was also a Club 35 manager, according to Platkin.
The three corporate entities charged are Acciboys, LLC, an entity owned by Anthony Acciardi Jr. and Stephen Acciardi that owned ATMs; 35 Club, LLC, d/b/a Club XXXV; and Alana, Inc.
The investigation showed certain defendants largely failed to report the proceeds of the unlawful prostitution operation as taxable income, and allegedly established corporate entities to camouflage the true sources of the money, according to Platkin.
The investigation also determined that the alleged co-conspirators took steps to make the funds appear as if they had been derived from lawful business dealings, Platkin said.
The indictment also alleges the club illegally sold alcohol on premises, despite state regulations prohibiting that practice. The business is BYOB, but allegedly sold various types of liquor that were hidden in a rear shed on the property.
Some of the defendants were arrested on May 12, 2021, when Sayreville police, along with the Middlesex County Guns, Gangs and Drugs Task Force, working with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, executed search warrants at Club 35 following numerous complaints of prostitution occurring there between 2019 and 2021.
The case was subsequently superseded by the Office of Public Integrity and Accountability (OPIA) Corruption Bureau.
Bank records indicate that since 2015, the defendants maintained both personal and business accounts associated with their several businesses, including Club 35 and Acciboys.
Since 2017, more than $10 million had been deposited and withdrawn from these accounts, Platkin said.
The indictment also alleges certain defendants significantly under-reported their income on state tax returns in an effort to evade taxes and to hide the proceeds of their criminal activity.
After executing search warrants, police recovered approximately $140,000 in cash, $283,000 in gold, and $297,000 in silver from the home of Doreen Acciardi and Anthony Acciardi Sr. There was also $117,000 in cash, $61,000 in silver, and $47,000 in gold found in the residence of Anthony Acciardi Jr, Platkin said.

SCP-666: “Devil Stones”
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
All known instances of SCP-666 are to be kept in separate reinforced containment lockers at Site-██, each lined with non-conductive, non-reactive materials. Handling of SCP-666 instances requires prior approval from Level 4 personnel. Testing is to be conducted in isolated chambers with remote observation only.
Unauthorized individuals who come into contact with SCP-666 are to be detained, evaluated, and administered amnestics if necessary. Any newly discovered instances must be secured immediately, and civilian witnesses are to be interrogated and monitored for anomalous effects.
Description:
SCP-666 refers to a collection of smooth, palm-sized stones composed of an unidentified basalt-like material. Each instance of SCP-666 exhibits a unique anomalous property when held by a living subject. While the effects vary, all SCP-666 instances share a common theme of temptation and consequence, often providing a desirable outcome at a severe cost.
Each stone activates only when grasped firmly in a subject’s palm. Some effects manifest immediately, while others require extended contact. SCP-666 instances do not function when covered by gloves or other materials, suggesting a biological component to activation.
Notable SCP-666 Instances:
• SCP-666-1: Grants the holder a temporary boost in physical strength, increasing output by approximately 500%. However, muscle fibers and connective tissues rapidly deteriorate upon release, often resulting in complete immobility or fatal organ failure within minutes.
• SCP-666-2: Temporarily grants the ability to see into the immediate future (ranging from a few seconds to several minutes). Users report extreme mental strain and eventual detachment from their own present reality, often leading to catatonia.
• SCP-666-3: Heals all injuries and ailments within seconds. However, the pain of every injury the subject would have sustained over their natural lifespan is experienced simultaneously upon release, often causing immediate psychological breakdown or death.
• SCP-666-4: Generates immense wealth in the form of gold coins appearing in the subject’s vicinity. The holder is later plagued by extreme misfortune, with each coin seemingly linked to a future catastrophic event in their life.
• SCP-666-5: Allows the subject to influence the thoughts and actions of others while held. However, the subject’s own thoughts become increasingly foreign to them, leading to dissociation and eventual loss of personal identity.
Additional SCP-666 instances exist, though their effects remain undocumented due to the extreme risk of testing. Each stone bears a faint, shifting inscription in an unknown language that resembles Sumerian or Enochian script. Recovered texts from ███████ suggest that SCP-666 instances are fragments of a greater entity or system of power, possibly linked to esoteric rites dating back to pre-human civilizations.
Incident 666-A:
On ██/██/20██, during an unauthorized experiment, a researcher grasped multiple SCP-666 instances simultaneously. The resulting cascade of anomalous effects led to an event classified as an Ontological Breach, requiring full site lockdown. Surveillance footage showed the researcher vanishing into an unknown dimensional space before all affected stones turned inert. Further analysis of the footage revealed faint, whispering voices speaking in an unidentifiable dialect, with the final audible phrase roughly translating to “The bargain was struck.”
Further research is suspended indefinitely.

Lost Share Certificate? Here’s How to Secure a Duplicate Share Certificate
A share certificate is a critical legal document that serves as proof of ownership of shares in a company. Losing it can be stressful, as it may hinder your ability to sell, transfer, or claim dividends on your investments. However, obtaining a duplicate share certificate is a structured process, and acting promptly can help you regain control of your assets. In this blog, we’ll guide you through the steps to resolve this issue and safeguard your financial interests.

What Is a Share Certificate?
A share certificate is issued by a company to its shareholders, detailing the number of shares owned, the shareholder’s name, and a unique certificate number. It acts as tangible evidence of ownership and is essential for executing transactions involving shares. Whether you’re an individual investor or a corporate entity, this document is vital for asserting your rights as a shareholder.
Risks of Losing a Share Certificate
Losing a share certificate can lead to significant complications:
Inability to Transfer or Sell Shares: Without the physical certificate, executing transactions becomes nearly impossible.
Dividend Claims: Companies often require the certificate to process dividend payments.
Fraud Risks: A lost certificate could be misused if it falls into the wrong hands.
To mitigate these risks, it’s crucial to act quickly and follow the proper protocol to obtain a duplicate share certificate.
Steps to Obtain a Duplicate Share Certificate
If your share certificate is lost, stolen, or damaged, here’s how to secure a replacement:
File a Police Report
Immediately report the loss to the police. This step helps prevent fraudulent use of the certificate and serves as official documentation for the next steps.
Notify the Company
Inform the company’s registrar or transfer agent about the loss in writing. Provide details like the certificate number, number of shares, and folio number.
Submit an Indemnity Bond
You’ll need to execute an indemnity bond on non-judicial stamp paper (value varies by state). This legally binds you to compensate the company for any losses if the original certificate is misused.
Publish a Public Notice
Place an advertisement in a widely circulated newspaper (local and national) declaring the certificate as invalid. This step alerts the public and reduces fraud risks.
Submit Required Documents
Provide the company with:
A written application for a duplicate.
Copy of the FIR/police report.
Indemnity bond.
Newspaper clippings of the public notice.
Proof of identity and address.
Await Verification
The company will verify your claim and issue a duplicate share certificate, typically marked “DUPLICATE” to distinguish it from the original.
Preventing Future Loss of Share Certificates
Secure Storage: Keep physical certificates in a safe deposit box or fireproof locker.
Digitize Documents: Scan and store digital copies in encrypted cloud storage.
Dematerialize Shares: Convert physical shares to electronic form via a Demat account, eliminating the risk of losing paper certificates.
Why Professional Guidance Matters
The process of obtaining a duplicate share certificate involves legal formalities, paperwork, and coordination with multiple entities. Mistakes can lead to delays or rejection of your request. Partnering with experts ensures:
Accurate preparation of affidavits and indemnity bonds.
Compliance with company-specific requirements.
Timely resolution of issues.
Conclusion
Losing a share certificate can feel overwhelming, but with prompt action and the right approach, securing a duplicate share certificate is straightforward. By following the legal process and prioritizing secure storage practices, you can protect your investments and avoid future hassles.
