Something that gets me about the rat Grinders™️ is their lives are so,,. Boring!

Everytime we don't see them, they're out in the woods spam killing monsters again and again, they're sitting in silence painstakingly writing glyph after glyph to prepare for a party that they're only going to, to do work. Ruben is making music only to fill with the same repetitive key words, Kipperlilly is campaigning day and night to zero response from the student body.

Compared to the BK's there's no joy in their life! There's no real connections being formed! Two adults intervened before they ever got to figure out what 'adventure' is and now they think adventure is repetive, boring Work.

all of my finals are done, and so a decently busy summer begins! Congrats to anyone else who made it through finals!

For anyone curious about my schools projects, check out my Ko-fi and consider leaving a tip to see behind the scenes of projects :3 I’ve been working with paper cut-out puppets, claymation, sand animation, and a combination of all in after effects among other things! I’m considering submitting some stuff to film festivals, and so I may have to hold off sharing the final products unfortunately; however, I received a grant to work on my senior thesis, Your New Home, over this summer, so expect lots of concept development pictures uploaded on my Ko-fi and be a part of my journey if you like the dynamic of eldritch-like beings trying to take care of humans without fully understanding that time loops stress them out (plus a crusty anxious dog!)
