“Alright runt, cleanup time.” Showbit lounged in his dressing room smugly, tossing a mop over to his most recent and persistent visitor. However, his guest seemed pretty annoyed.

“I’m not a runt!” Centralia glared up at him, throwing the mop to the floor.

“Well, you’re a lot shorter than me, that makes you a runt… Unless you’d prefer to be called a munchkin. Or a dwarf. How about I just call you pathetic.” He laughed lightly, enjoying the younger Habit’s building anger. “Just get the set cleaned up, I’ve got another taping tomorrow.”

“No.”

“No?”

“I’m not gonna clean it up again, it’s too much and it’s not fair!”

“Not fair?” Showbit chuckled, slowly tilting his head.

Before Centralia could react, Showbit lunged forward and grabbed him by the back of the neck, lifting him up roughly the same way one would scruff a cat.

“Are you really going to disrespect me? After everything I do for you?” He hissed, the claws of his gloves digging into Centralia’s skin. “You ungrateful little brat, don’t forget you’re living here under my goodwill. I could let Loathesome drag you back.”

Centralia’s lip wobbled, a small shriek of dismay bubbling out when an exceptionally large millipede crawled out of Showbit’s sleeve onto him. He curled up a bit, trembling. “I’m- I’m sorry- I’ll clean up everything…”

“Good.” Showbit dropped him with a light smile, taking pleasure in hearing one of his little wrists snap and the pained cry it elicited. “I expect it clean by dinner.”

“Okay…”

Showbit paused. Ah, he’s sulking. Well that won’t do, Centralia is so much slower at cleaning up the set when he’s sulking. Kneeling down, he pulled him into a hug. He didn’t let him out of the hug, even when Centralia was made further uncomfortable by the insects crawling over him. “C’mon, cheer up little doll, I’ll let you immolate the first contestant that loses.”

“......Promise?” “Of course! I’ll even let you use the flamethrower if you’re careful.”

Ahhhh shit. I had a feeling something was coming, it's been too quiet recently. I saw the teeth and claws she posted, and all I could think was: "Oh great, another Habit bites the dust- Er- Habit." Something something, breaking the Habit.

It's kinda typical Habit behavior from what I've seen for Habits to they and be the last one standing, I'm very sorry that you have to deal with this shit too. All I can say is don't make any deals with your Habit- Well- Any more deals with her. There isn't a single Habit out there that isn't a manipulative, loophole finding bastard.

What you can do, for now at least, is keep track of who she's targeting. Watch for what kind of Habits she targets. You'll notice they'll start getting tougher over time. The day she takes out someone tougher than Showbit?

Pulling Teeth

If he waits any longer, he’s going to kill someone. He just knows it. Evan’s thoughts are racing, there’s a scratching sensation deep in his skull. It’s laughing at him. It’s clawing its way to the surface. He can feel it clawing at his skull. 

“C’mon, what’s the harm?”

That voice, that scratchy, sharp voice keeps taunting him from the depths of his mind, encouraging him to let out this monster, to let it fix all his problems. Bullshit. If he lets this thing out, it’s going to kill somebody. He’s going to kill somebody. He can feel his canines cutting into his lip. He can feel his nails sharpen.

Looking up in the bathroom mirror, his eyes were not his own. They were cruel, mocking.

“What can you really do? It’s only a matter of time!”

Gripping the edge of the counter, he grimaced. He can taste copper. He can hear the scratching in his skull getting louder. He can feel the scratching, the clawing…

He grips the pliers tightly.

Was the whole Traumathon thing just a way for her to get close enough to Showbit to kill him? I mean, she still ate a baby, but if she did it gain Showbit's trust and take him down from the inside, wouldn't that save more lives in the long run? She's not doing these things for the right reasons, but if I can help her to make selfish choices that save lives in the long run, maybe that's the best I can do?

I don't know, I feel like a shitty person either way. It's a whole trolley problem situation. It's pretty obvious which choice to make in theory. But in reality? Pulling that lever can be the hardest thing in the world.

I'd really like some advice here, guys. What do I do?

Woah, your tv does that on it's own? Man, I wish mine did that, I'm way too nosey about what other people might be watching.

My theory is that traumathon is the ripoff but showbit has access to more resources, but I may be biased because I just don't think showbit has ever had a creative thought in his life. I guess there's not much of a way for me to know?

Also, how's dad-hunting been going for you? Have you been getting any closer to finding your dad?

Yeah, my TV is pretty weird, I'm gonna post a list of the channels and what's on em' in a bit.

I'd have to agree with you, and I'm basing that off episode count alone. Traumathon just hit 100, Gorefest has like- Triple that. I personally believe Showbit is trying to steal his viewers by airing his show at nearly the same time haha!

As for finding my dad, no luck yet. He's pretty good at going to new places fast, so as fast as I'm hopping rifts, he always seems to be a couple ahead of me. He'd call that "Having a work ethic that us lazy millennials could never understand" XD
