Fuji-Kawamura? Alright, they're close and sometimes doubles partners. Fuji-Tezuka? Also reasonable. Tezuka-Kawamura? Does Tezuka even have a direct conversation with Kawamura more than once in the entire series??

Nasuko (the Fuji-Kawamura singing duet) being Tezuka's backup vocals for his Valentine Kiss feels like the icing on this confusing cake. Maybe they can band together and form a new band: The Brunets.

Tezuka is gay.

Oishi is pansexual

Fuji is gender noncomfirming. He still idenities as a cis guy, but he doesn’t mind they/them. He just calls himself queer and doesn’t care for labels

Kikumari is bisexual with a masc lean.

Kawamaru is on the aroace spectrum.

Inui is bisexual with no strong lean either way

Momoshiro is bisexual with a fem lean.

Kaido is a trans man who he/him, and he is also gay.

Echizen is a trans man who uses he/they. He is also on the aroace spectrum and gay.

An excerpt from whatever was in my head for this story. Maybe I will write it down one day.

It is set in this medieval Kingdom. Final Fantasy like.

Fuji is a Prince of this Kingdom who on the outside looked promising. Filled with richness and natural resources, but actually was built on blood and lies.

Fuji is raised to be their killer. He is also abused by his father, the King, but no one knows about that. Except for his own family and the higher ministers. And so, the citizens rebelled under the help of Atobe (who is a Prince of a nearby Kingdom. He has his own reasons to start the rebellion, including one involving Tezuka).

Fuji killed his family to spare them from the rebellion while Atobe beheaded the King. They then captured Fuji and used him as a sign - cue humiliation r*pe etc.

Tezuka is a son of a noble family from Fuji’s Kingdom. His father hated the King and knows that the King is turning mad (GOT Style). Fuji was ordered to kill Tezuka’s family but he let Tezuka got away (as he actually saw Tezuka when they were a boy and was instantly captivated by him). Tezuka then vowed revenge.

Anyway… this is like the end bit lol.

“I’ve always loved you.” Fuji confessed, the feeling that was hidden all these time.

The feeling that started when he first saw the boy in that match. His sharp movement, his prowess, his ability and intelligence, Fuji loved it all and was instantly captivated.

If, in this life, he could have just one wish, he wished for that boy to live, and so on that night, he let him go. Not that he could even defeat him.

Fuji was delighted when he saw the boy again, now has grown up to become a man. He didn’t mind the pain, he could take the pain if it paid for his sins. If it returned the pieces that were taken from him.

He just didn’t expect Tezuka to be so tender to him. Even if it is a lie, Fuji was enjoying it. He was bathing in a warm light for once.

And so, in this moment, he knew it was time to pay for his greatest sins. “Even… if it is a lie, thank you for loving me…”

Tezuka could only watch as the blue-eyed man closed his eyes and fell to the ground. There was blood, pouring out from the fragile body.

He quickly casted his swords away and cradled the dying body. Fuji was still breathing, but it was faint.

“Hey… Fuji… hey…” Tezuka slapped the cheek that started to lose its colours.

He dreamt of this moment, of seeing the killer of his family died in front of him. He didn’t dream it to be this way.

What’re your characters’ mbti type?

You asked me such a simple question, Anon, but I've been struggling with it for hours lol MBTI lacks nuance, so I constantly thought that "my boy has much more personality than that! This description barely suits him!" Not to mention that people's choices for grouping characters that, in their opinion, belong to those types are so weird and questionable… But enough of my whining about that.

Edmund was easy enough - he's INTJ, without any doubts. He might sliiightly remind of INTP, maybe.

Ned is ISTJ. He was also easy to figure out, and the description fits him nicely.

Then my struggles started. Niall is someone like ESFP?.. He's definitely extroverted, observant, thinking and prospecting, but the description for the Entertainer sounds so off 😭 Although not the worst one and gets some of the aspects right.

Liam, in his typical fashion, is a fucking enigma and a pain in the ass because he doesn't follow any rules orz not even mine. I can describe him as introverted, observant, and that's when I lost him. Feeling? Yeah, that's what he'd like you to think. Or more so that's what you'd think without knowing him well. And then judging… I guess. So, the answer would've been ISFJ, but it's just awful and doesn't suit him at all. I'm so sorry 🥲

However, I can describe his type with a bunch of other characters. Maybe you're familiar with some of them, so it'll help you to understand him better. Just imagine them united by the same mbti-type: Nagito Komaeda (Danganronpa), Fuji Shusuke (Prince of Tennis), Tohma Seguchi (Gravitation), Jade Leech (Twisted Wonderland), Russia (Hetalia), maybe Vincent from Silent Hill 3? Idk.

Can't remember anyone else so far, sorry!

The funny thing is, I actually had their types in mind when coming up with characters - that being said, it was for the classification we have in Russia, socionics - it's a pseudoscience which has the same concept in its base. I like it much more in this case, and have 0 problems with putting my boys into neat little groups from there. They don't really correspond to MBTI types, despite the article probably stating otherwise (I haven't read it).

More Prince of Tennis headcanons (cause I finally found all 179 eps!):

Every once and a while Tezuka will look down at Echizen and go “I would take a bullet for you” and Echizen just responds with “k” every. single. time

The team has given up on getting answers out of Tezuka. They’ve asked him a million times why he says this and every single time he acts like it didn’t happen

Fuji says “it’s like a reflex for him at this point” and that’s the closest thing to an answer the team will ever get

Sometimes when Echizen is being a smug little shit Oishi will just pick him up by his collar and carry him away. Like a mama cat wrangling her baby

I was reminded that Oishi comes from a family of doctors but the idea that he doesn’t know how to use a first aid kit properly makes me laugh

Kaido, Eiji, and Echizen would be the funniest trio ever. Cause I’m just imagining Echizen being an arrogant little shit and pissing someone off

Kaido getting mad at at said person when they get pissed off at Echizen and trying to start a fight with them

And Eiji being dramatic as fuck (cause you know… youngest child) and yelling shit like “yeah Kaido fuck him up he made chibi cry” while Echizen is trying to make himself cry on command

Honestly I’m kind of convinced that Inui’s drinks have made the team immortal. It would honestly be the least surprising plot twist of the whole series if Inui said “I’ve made us Devine beings”

I think they also wouldn’t be surprised I think they would all have the same reaction that’s something along the lines of “with all the hell you put us through the next one better give me fucking super powers”

I think Echizen is aroace or demi. I’ve been watching this little brats dumpster fire of a love life for 100 episodes and I can safely say I don’t think he wants or needs one

Tezuka: that’s a pansexual man if I’ve ever seen one. I just have a feeling that he wouldn’t be tripped up by things like gender

Fuji: demi I don’t know I just have a guttural feeling like you have to reach level 100 of friendship for Fuji to even think about looking at you romantically

Eiji: bisexual when this bitch showed up on screen doing his little flips and tricks I was like “that is a raging bisexual” just something about doing the most in something as simple as tennis gives of bi energy

Oishi also pansexual like Tezuka I feel like he wouldn’t really care about gender if he thinks they’re cute the he thinks they’re cute you know?

Kawamura I can’t really tell if he’s 100% gay or 100% straight but something tells me it’s one of the two. Cause I can’t really picture anything else

Also coach Ryuzaki is a lesbian. Does she have a granddaughter? Yeah. Does that prove anything? No

I also can’t imagine anyone on the team being neurotypical like something tells me they’ve all gotten an adhd or autism diagnosis at one point in their life
