So like, I finished watching Why Women Kill s1 yesterday and it's just so. good. Like, I'm in love with it. I'm currently in the middle of s2 (although it's not as good as the first one). I'm in love with all the storylines! They're all just so perfect omfgs I love them-

Simone Grove is the main character of the series "Why Women Kill", who lives in the mid-1980s. She is a socialite, married for the third time, she has an adult daughter, with whom she maintains a good relationship.

Simone's main traits are egocentrism and demonstrativeness. She loves to be the center of attention and is ready to do almost anything to maintain the interest of others in herself.

In the very first episode, the heroine finds out that her husband has a lover, and this news is a blow to Simone. At first, she thinks about getting a divorce for the third time, but abandons this idea when she discovers that Karl is sick.

When Simone finds out that Karl has AIDS, she not only does not leave him, but also sacrifices her status and well-being. The heroine parts with her wealth to look after him, and stays with her husband until the very end.

The story of Simone and Karl ends tragically: the heroine does not agree to euthanasia for her husband for a long time, but decides to take this step after seeing his suffering.

Before the frenzy of Ripley promo takes over, I wanted to highlight Andrew's beautifully moving acceptance speech and tribute to his mother (who died very recently, March 7th) from the Critics Circle Theater Awards and his Best Actor win for VANYA.
