I find it a bit extreme that Bella Goth has no skill points at all, but I guess that’s just how it is. Mortimer has quite some skill points, but he also has a job as a B-Movie star, so I suppose he needed some in order for his promotions to make sense.

What's really weird to me is that Cassandra Goth has a fuckton of skill points:

✦☆ Sims 2 console fanart☆✦

Over the last few weeks my brain has been hyperfixating over the sims consoles spin off's (mainly bustin' out, Ubrz and TS2) but unfortunately cannot play them as I haven't been able to get my PS2 out of storage :( so I drew some of my fave console sims.

I'm really happy with how I drew both Felicity and Pat, but I've drawn both these sims a few times so that makes sense :P. I also drew Scary Mary (feels weird to just call her just scary XD) and Mazuiko for the first time! I haven't played Urbz as much as Bustin' out and TS2 console but I remember really liking these two sims, mostly because they're both the "leader" of their districts and of course Neon East is my fave district (with Central Station being a close second).

I think both Urbz came out well, It was especially fun trying to figure out how to translate certain details into my art style, even small things like how pale Mary is lead to me trying new approaches (most of her skin isn't coloured in and I used my lightest alcohol marker to add shadows to her skin :D). Only frustration was getting a bit of red posca paint on Mary, luckily it wasn't too hard to cut a bit of paper from a different sketchbook page and glue it over the area, but still frustrated by it lol.

Speaking of Mary I also gave her facial piercings because for some reason she doesn't have an visible piercings which, I assume is due to her running the piercing shop and maybe the dev's not wanting to imply she pierced herself, even though I personally think it'd be very in character for her to do that, especially since her bio from the Urbz website mentions her liking piercings and pain.

Sim Dump: TS1 Console

Hi, hi! I've been playing the console games lately. Figured I'd share my re-creations of the sims from there. All CC is included, and they're all shared in one 7z. : D

Because their faces in the original game are kinda low res and basic, I just went and did Pooklet's method on them for the most part so they look a little more unique.

First: The Roomies! In order, Betty, Carlos, Layla, Leon, Zara and Bingo.

Next is none other than MOM, who will nag you to fix the tv, yell at you for studying Mechanical so you don't shock yourself, and then yell at you some more for not fixing it fast enough because you have 1 skill point and just want to fix the TV and move out... yes I'm salty

So my sibling’s been playing the sims on my PlayStation, right? He’s been doing this legacy challenge thingy and was setting up this huge romance for 2 sims since they were teenagers. It had been a while since we checked on the fiancé. He went to check on the guy AND SOMEHOW HE’D HAD A BABY ALL BY HIMSELF? THEY’D BEEN DATING SINCE THEY MET. IT WAS AN INFANT. He aged it up out of spite and was harassing the father. Tell me why when we added them to the household THERE WAS NO MOTHER LISTED? AT ALL? NOT EVEN A POLLINATION TECHNICIAN. HOW DID THIS MAN COME TO HAVE A CHILD? DID HE JUST SPAWN IT OUT OF NOWHERE?? HELP?

I had such a blast going through this custom made world! it's a beautiful faithful recreation of all the handheld Sims 2 spin-off games and I am simply obsessed with it!!

Highly recommend it if you've ever played any handheld spin-off, I can assure you you're gonna love this world as much as I did, it's SO well made!

Bustin' out fanart & mix media collage

A few days ago I felt like drawing some bustin' out fanart since I have finally been able to play the game again! and I wanted a bit of a break from said game cuz even with building at lot of skill points at Mom's place at the start (5 skill points for all skills) it still was getting hard for me, especially when I tried to get my sim married!

Speaking of my sim I decided to just play the default character, Pat Newbie and start with the counter culture career because one of my roommates was watching and wanted me to pick it because it confused her XD. For reference she's also a sims player but, has only played TS2&4 on PC (mostly a TS4 player though) so it was especially fun seeing her reactions to some of the games more "mature themes", learn more about Sims franchise in general and, even asking what the game's rating is lol.

As for the fanart, I first did an acrylic ink painting of a picture I took of the frutti household (I played them a little before drawing when I got frustrated with story mode lol) to both practice my ink painting skills and drawing environments/scenes, since I tend to stick to just drawing characters. I think it came out okay but I'm a little embarrassed it took me about an hour to do. Here's the picture below, warning for terrible photo quality lol.

After doing that painting I drew Pat an an outfit I gave her after moving out of Mimi's place and used alcohol markers to colour it in. Then lastly I drew Pat (in another outfit cuz I love cas) with Randy and Paisley from Casa Caliente because I honestly love that place and these two, and their house is extremely fun, I even gave them another room with another heart bed in it before moving onto pixel aches. This drawing also became an ink painting because I really love to paint with acrylic inks, imo they're like water colours but better.

Then I of course put my fanarts in my sketchbook and made a fun little layout with scrap paper and stickers, I also used stamps for some text and heart details :P. Hope you all enjoyed looking at my fanart and reading my super long art and sims ramble, assuming you did, idk if anyone even reads this far lol I mostly do this for myself tbh XD
