Sims 2 Hotel Door Default Replacement

This set includes:

Default replacement door matching my Justa Door DR

Solidity Door Default Replacement

This door uses my Justa Door default replacement as a repository so that is required. You'll also need LordCrumps' Shadow file.

The peephole is from the Immortal Portal door from Discover University, except I increased the number of faces so it looks more round and less jagged. The fire escape map on the back is from the same door, but I added Simlish text. The font is Nootrasim by @franzillasims.

I created my own do-not-disturb sign and screen for the electronic lock. It lights up! All the icons are from Icons8 and the font is Nootrasim again.

CEP and Recolours

There is a package with recolours for the poster included in the zip with the mesh: a notice and no poster at all. To recolour the poster, you will also need to install the CEP (included in that zip). Put the CEP in the CEP Extra folder in your base game program files folder. For Ultimate Collection users, this is: Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\Catalog\zCEP-EXTRA

Diagonal Door Bug Fix

I created a fix for a bug with the diagonal door - if you put the door back on a grid-aligned wall after it has been diagonal, it will turn into a dorm door because Maxis hooked up the wrong GUID. You're probably not putting hotel doors on diagonal walls, but I was when I was testing it and I thought I'd broken something. This time it wasn't me! 😅

You need to put the fix in the Bins folder in the program files folder for your latest pack. For Ultimate collection users, this is: Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins

A sweet little summer treat, and a quick and easy project. Just what I needed. I'm still very much on semi-hiatus. But something like @pluto-sims' Elmer and Pick'N'Mix dresses...cute, colorful, and on a mesh already converted 4t2? I can't resist. @megamassikalove did the initial conversion of EP18SummerDress and @deedee-sims made them top-only. Perfect. Gimmie. Even after all of these years converting stuff myself, I love an easy project like this. And these patterns! Popsicles! Whales! Geometrics! Lovelovelove!

They're top-only and set as Everyday and Pajamas. CU, like all of my kid stuff. 50 in total. DeeDee's mesh is included.

Some of Pluto's Pick'N'Mix textures looked very similar in TS2, so I tweaked a few of them a bit. The Elmer textures are unchanged.

Finally ready to share my recolours of SDA's Louisiana Kitchen!

All credits go to Sims Design Avenue for the original meshes and I'd also like to give a huge thanks to @hokadk47 for their amazing additions to this set which you can find on their page over at Sims2artists along with the original meshes: https://sims2artists.com/index.php?board=360.0. These include the Newport-style upper cabinets shown above and the built-in oven unit, which are not part of SDA's original set. I recoloured the two master meshes in this set which are "Louisiana Frances Armoire 1x1" and "Louisiana Frances Meuble Bas Cuisine" - so any meshes that are repo'd to these will pick up my recolours :)

Also want to give credit to @00tany00 as I used textures from their beautiful Marble Luxury Floor Sets for some of the counter tops (particularly floors from sets 06, 05, 03 and 02), so I recommend grabbing those if you'd like some matching floors!

Fully Seamless Versions of Shasta Pirate Wood Textures

While making my Secret Santa Present for @jellymeduza, I realised that @shastakiss Pirate Wood textures aren't fully seamless. The long sides tile perfectly if you put them next to each other, but the short sides look like this:

In game it was mostly visible with my horizontal Niche recolors. After putting them through GIMPs "Tile Seamless"-filter they now tile perfectly.

I did it for the regular textures and the version with the horizontal grain I made. Also included are 512x512 versions.

I also made, a bit later than the rest, true seamless versions of the Pirate Color texture as they were just a bit off in terms of vertical seamless except for the "Kelp"-texture which had a visible white stripe at the bottom. The Color texture come in horizontal and vertical in 256x256 and 256x512.

I put them up for download in case somebody else want them too.

Sims 2 Dorm Door Default Replacement

Here is another add-on for my Justa Door default replacement set, this time replacing the "Myne" dorm room door.

It has no posters on the back. Instead, you can recolour the photo stuck onto the front of the door to either a blank, a text scribble, or a scribble with a smiley face. I converted the photo 'frame' from @ravasheencc's Photographic Memory mod for Sims 4. The photo is smaller than the one on the original door, but still big enough that you can tell who occupies each room.

I also made a new no entry sign, which is in a separate package, in case you want to keep the original.

Happy merry!! Merry happy!! Jingle twinkle! Double well-wishing for channukah and xmas!! I usually give our sims some pj's for the holidays, but this time it's somewhere to wear those pj's. I might actually have gone "ooo" when I first saw @bostyny's Ageless Bedroom for TS4. It had to be my xmas set this year. A must. Then part 2 came out and I wondered if I'd bitten off more than I could chew. This is part of why my updates have been a bit sparse lately.

I mean...look at it though! Don't you just wanna snuggle in and wait for Santa?

Since this is a long post, you can download it up here or down at the very bottom. Choose either merged or unmerged recolors. Unmerged is almost 500 files total. Merged is 22. There are a ton of recolors and I could only repo some of it.

I love that this set is called Ageless. It's the perfect name. Depending on the colors and items, this set can be airy or dramatic. It's so versatile! Great stuff, Bostyny!

I didn't convert absolutely everything. I didn't have the time, and some stuff was beyond my skill level. I left out the mirrors, paintings, ceiling lamp, and jewelry stands.

Each object comes with 27-ish recolors. I only added some new recolors for the olive branches. Everything else is Bostyny's swatches. I repo'ed what I could, but there are still almost 500 files total in the unmerged folder. Yeep.

I reduced poly counts here and there, when needed. I also reshaped and tweaked some stuff. The table comes in two different sizes, a side table and a larger one you can use as a desk. The TS4 dressers I did as console tables, for multiple reasons.

Functional Camera

The first folder you will see is named "Choose One - Functional Camera", in this you can see the Deco version and functional version of the camera. Both versions will work in your game, if you want a functional camera, please read the "read me" file, as it has an edit of a mod from our lovely friend @episims.

It does require this mod but allow my edits to overwrite the mod version you are using, either cellphone or no cellphone! So yes, for the functional one you will need to download the rest of the mods / cameras etc from Epi!

Neon Light Options

Inside the second folder named "Neon Light Options" has two comparison photos, both lights can also be used in game, but the reason for the two options is purely because I wanted the room to glow like the other EA Neon lights, but I couldnt get the glass and neon bulb to work well together. So there are two options, one that is more true to Sims 4 but does not illuminate the room, and another where its adjusted to work better in the Sims 2. Please see the Read Me file in this folder for more of an explanation!

Poster Options

For those who have my Every Base Game Wall Deco files you can remove the folder named "REQUIRED FOR REPO VERSION" inside the "Poster Options" folder. I only included it just in-case. This version has the art work repo'd to all the other poster meshes so you can swap and change the art on different meshes.

The Standalone version does not require any extra files, it is in there just in-case you do not have the main Poster file mentioned above.
