the circle maker by sparkbird and i am not who i was by chance peña are both c!reo coded, and in this essay i will-

in all honesty i feel like. reo is sad. (which song 2 touches on) despite the arguing and beef they have with midas and how little they hesitated when they brought midas to the worldport, i feel like they hold a bit of guilt for how young midas was (personal hc that reo was also kinda young. like 18-19. when they became quixis.) when they became quixis and then everything that happened with icarus.

and when their eye started bleeding again they shoved down that sadness and guilt and just prepared, but the call never came and reo probably realised that soemthing went wrong and reo held that against midas.

ok not to be that guy but aita for getting mad for being invited to plans as an obvious afterthought because I'm able to drive. I always volunteer to normally but I feel like. every once in a while im invited strategically and if i was in their position I'd work out a way to make it happen otherwise. used to be thrilled to be invited along as well but now it's kind of getting old when im clearly expected to drive

I will say, watching the entire series over the course of two days really gives you an appreciation for how much the characters change. Like, it feels more gradual when you're not binging it but like, literally just yesterday these kids were babies and like, they're still babies but they've grown so much it makes my heart cry. Aang is the one I notice the most drastic change in (seriously, book 1 Aang and book 3 Aang can seem like entirely different characters sometimes), but like, all of them, from Zuko being more hesitant (tho still an impulsive idiot bless his heart), Sokka's confidence going from a bluster to a deep seated knowledge of his own worth, Katara starting out so unsure of herself and becoming the badass she is just, UGH, even Toph, she was so abrasive and now it's so clear she loves them all in her own way.

This show is so good. It's just so good.
