Thoughts on Blade of Courage?

It's fine. But so far, just fine.

I know it only just started, I wasn't expecting crazy stuff so early on or anything, but it's alright for what it is. However, in true Sonic fashion, the fandom was quick to prop it up a bit too much for what it was IMO, which got annoying quickly. Considering that I've already been dealing with the bitter taste of overhype in relation to a certain game beginning with D, you can see why I wouldn't be in the mood for this not long after lol. I also can't help but feel that some of its praise is applied from an "it's not IDW" angle, which yeah, of course it's better than IDW, but it kind of takes away from its own potential qualities.

Still, I maintain that it's okay so far. But I hope it starts to actually interest me later on. It really isn't fun when I'm not fully able to join in on the engagement for these things.
