You know those "please donate to help my family fleeing the war" DMs you get on the regular? The ones that are all worded almost exactly the same? Yeah, they're spam. Total bullshit.

It's such a shame that somebody is trying to benefit off a war that is currently happening, but sadly, there are disgusting people like that out there. People who truly need help won't be spamming strangers on Tumblr - the only people spamming you for 'donations' are sickos trying to benefit off other people's struggles.

Either way, just report and block anyone who sends you those DMs. Don't feel bad. It's fake. It's spam.

Block Spam SMS in the Messages App

To effectively block spam messages and calls on your Xiaomi device, you can utilize built-in features available in MIUI or HyperOS. Here's how to set them up:

How to prevent spam messages

Many people get annoyed by spam messages constantly. It's not that these spam messages take up a lot of space on your phone. Rather, it leaves many important messages behind. What else do you have to do in this case? There is the use of Google Messages settings. Spam can be easily turned off from the settings of the Google Messages app. You have to follow the following procedure:

1. First, open the Google Messages app.

2. Find the message that is spam.

3. Once you find the message, long-press it.

4. Now you will see the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.

5. Find the block option and tap on it.

6. A popup will open in front of you. There you will be asked to report this message as spam

7. Do you want to do it or not? Tick the box and tap on Block option.

This way you can block and report spam messages.

ok ok im sure you get a ton of fanfic recommends but you NEED to check out Kenosis by Interstyx on AO3 i know i know its long and its dense but its so good and its like super cool if you look at the dates each chapter drops this stuff was written by like ep 2 or 3 annd later on it bascially predicts what happens later in the show ok AND the author is a huge fan of your work
