I used the spreadsheet in the back of the 1.6 Official Guidebook to identify the most loved non-universal loves. The most loved nonuniversal gift is Diamond, followed by a tie of Amethyst, Emerald, Iridium Bar, and Pink Cake
EXACTLY HALF OF ALL GIFTABLE NPCs ARE ON THIS TABLE (17/34).
I started a similar document when I was doing the Qi's Kindness quest (I had 2.5 days to finish it when I accepted it, whoops) but I wasn't satisfied with it and wanted something more thorough.
This does NOT include Alex, Demetrius, Elliott, George, Kent, Lewis, Linus, Pam, Pierre, Robin, Sam, Sandy, Sebastian, Shane, Wizard, Harvey, Leo (17/34).
Very proud of this!!!!

Year 1 Summer Tool Upgrade Guide based on the Green Rain
Small spoilers for 1.6!
Since it’s kinda bad to be without tools (especially axe) when the green rain comes, here’s a guide for upgrading tools during summer during year 1 (everyone gathers in the saloon during the first green rain, but Clint will be working during the other years)
Green - possible days for the green rain,
Yellow - good days to upgrade tools, since they’ll be ready for the green rain
Red - tools won’t be ready or won’t be able to be picked up because of the green rain, or it’s a festival day

you see i tried playing it but. i got overwhelmed cause the time was passing too fast and i didn’t know what to do. oopsies :3
okay lemme give you a guide. pick the standard farm. on day one, plant your parsnips and with the 500 gold your given run to Pierre's (next to the doctors place in town) and grab more parsnips or potatoes, then go back to your farm, plant them and clear some space, then sleep, then during day 2 open your mail, get Willys letter and go see him, while your walking around town try and talk to people, try your hardest to fish (it's hard at first but promise it gets A LOT easier) and sell your fish in your shipping bin for money, any forageables you find near the busstop or in cindersap forest sell for good too, down in cindersap during spring there's spring onions and they sell for good. then sometime after day 5 on a random day if you walk into town in the morning from the busstop entrance you'll get the community centre cutscene. go to the cc and then read the Junimo scroll in there (to the left in the bottom room) you won't he able to understand now but the next day you'll get a letter from the wizard, go visit him towards the bottom west of cindersap (bring your tools as it might be overgrown) and then do the cutscene with him, then you'll be able to read the junimo scrolls back at the cc. complete the bundles as early as possible and if you need any help don't be scared to ask me <33 as you complete more bundles more big bundles will open.
also make sure to check the travelling cart every Friday and Sunday, she has some items that can really help with your playthrough!!

not really a farmer request .. but i need to see ur shane wearinf those silly shirts (my favorites include the "how to pick up chicks" shirt with the stick figures and things of the like)
Tumblr media
ty for the silly request!! i like to think he’d get that shirt not bc it’s silly but bc he’s like no that actually is how u pick them up. and every time u compliment the shirt he describes how u pick them up in real life. how hot is that r u drooling too

valgrace playing video games
jason is a 100% completionist that has to do everything and make sure everyone is happy. he’ll have guides pulled up so he can do everything. he only feels complete if he does everything the game has to offer
leo is ‘no thoughts, only vibes’ and rushes into fights before he’s ready and wings everything. he has strangely good luck when he does this. he’ll play a game for a week straight then drop it and never play it again
also they like to “play together”. by that i mean they play separate games but they’re next to each other while doing so and occasionally talk about what they’re doing to each other

"Lar has never played Stardew despite being gay and neurodivergent" bit is over. I've put about two hours into this game and plan to make that more
With that said, I also went into it COMPLETELY BLIND
WHICH WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA
I understand. Nothing. Why can't I find the remaining 6 people I need to greet. Where are they. How do you get a Sunfish. I keep catching sardines. Caroline needs a SUNFISH BY TOMORROW HOW DO I GET ONE. Why does the scarecrow need a piece coal. Where do I get coal. Why does time run so goddamn fast. Why do I have to take three hours to walk everywhere. How do you befriend the NPCs they just keep repeating one liners anytime I talk to them. What is going ON???

haha twirls hair ... would anyone be interested if i opened writing commissions? i'd set different prices for locals (malaysians lol) and non-locals bc even i get tired of getting shit for pricier than i should just bc inflation is a thing
i'll think of more details if people show interest but for now i can say i'll write original stuff and fanfiction. no smut or omegaverse. canon x readers and canon x canon both welcome
edit: completely forgor. actually showing my works

Things I’ve learned about Stardew Valley from discussing my game with my sister:
You should have livestock by the end of the first year.
It should not take you until 2pm to water all your crops. That is too many crops with just a watering can.
If all you do is farm you make a lot of money really fast and also no friends.

think you'd ever consider making custom portraits for characters in SDV? no pressure obvs, but i think it'd be very fun to see them all in game in ur style
Yes I have!!!! 👀 I very much want to do this!!!!!
A couple of things have held me up on it:
it will take a long time
I feel like it should be pixel art but I know in my heart it will look better if I just draw it in my normal style but I feel conflicted on that
I am a HUGE fan of the seasonal outfits mod by poltergeister and in their bio they said anyone can use assets they made in their own mods so long as it's free and credited, so... 👀 I would want to make ALLLLLLLL the different seasonal outfits too and therefore make 4x as much work for myself
on the last note, I have different headcanons for some characters (like for example, Leo and Haley having curly hair or Abigail being chubby) so I worry I'd have to edit the sprites too... probably 😫
I don't know how to do it and am a little scared although I have made mods for games like the sims, skyrim, and fallout new vegas before with guides, and figured out how to make my own mods in arcanum without any guides at all when I was 14 SO... I'M SURE I CAN DO IT.... BUT... 🧍
All that to say!! It probably will happen eventually!!! But I am nervous to take the first step! 😭😭😭

it's more of a reminder for myself, but anyway... flower dance
easiest: Shane (talk and give him pizza on 19th, 20th, 21th, 22th)
easy: Harvey, Sam, Leah (loved gifts sold at the saloon) talk everyday since day 1 and give loved gifts until 4 hearts (don't know for how long, never tried, too lazy to calculate)
also kinda easy: Haley (talk everyday give all the daffodils esp on a birthday)
easy, but need everyday work (parsnip seduction): Alex, Sebastian, Emily, Maru, Penny
need to go to the mines, so it's a bother: Abigail parsnip won't work, rain
pray to Yoba for good luck: Elliott
parsnip seduction
4 hearts worth 1000 friendship points
focus on one person
talk with the target every single day (except during special animation, like when Seb is smoking) 24 days 20 pts each = 480 pts
plant 15 parsnips on day 1, get the recipe for basic fertilizer after the first harvest. then plant no less than 20 parsnips with it. you should get at least 3 gold quality parsnips
give your target two gifts every week. in total, you must give 8 gifts: 5 normal quality and 3 gold quality parsnips (5 normal 45 pts each; 3 gold 56 pts each. this is 393 pts. plus 10 pts every sunday for gifting 2 gifts last week, so it's an additional 30 pts)
complete the introduction quest 100 pts
so you get a total of 1003 points, which is enough for a dance. but each step is necessary cos it's the bare minimum
notes
if you didn't know, every day you don't talk to a villager will result in the loss of 2 friendship points
Maru loves cauliflower, so it would be a better gift than gold parsnips
Abigail stays at home during rainy days, and if it's on wednesday, you'll have to go to the mines (ugh) to get amethysts, and she dislikes all vegetables
Elliott... dunno where to start. it's pure luck, cos you can't talk to him when it's raining. I love fishing and I spend all my first week by the ocean. usually I reach lvl 3 in fishing on the third day of spring and buy crab pots on spring 4th. I usually have at least 9 crab pots by the seventh of spring and sometimes that's enough to catch lobsters in time. a lot of praying. it really helps to speak only to him in order to get a bulletin request.
Sebastian, loml, I get at least 8 good quality flounders in the first week, so no parsnip nessesary (but I do spend all my time by the ocean except when I run to talk to him). also if you tell him that you like reading comics in one of his dialogues you'll gain an additional 30 pts.
I guess you should still talk to Haley everyday and give her all the daffodils, since her loved gifts are kinda hard to get at the beginning but birthday helps like a lot
Haley, Abigail and Sam dislike parsnips. (and it will definitely rain, so Elliott will stay at home. this means parsnips will be good for everyone, except those four)
for me, it's easier to complete the introduction quest at the egg festival (talk to Pierre later) and before that I only met the bachelor(ette) for the bulletin requests also check saloon everyday for dish of the day and a travelling cart on friday and sunday
I'm sure there are easier ways to get it done, but this is what fits my gaming style (fishing, talking and no mining). treasure chests also provide a lot of useful items that make everything way easier
also english isn't my first language, I just wanted to practice. sorry for the mistakes
