hard to explain, but I called it a hanabi or fireworks complex.. you know hanabi or fireworks right? you waited and prepared for it excitedly, got super happy and awed during the amazing show, yet it didnt last long… and soon after, everything went quit and silent… that would totally illustrate my summer experiences this year…

getting new hope, having crazy adventures, experiencing a feeling that I havent felt for so long, and being NOT lonely for once! everything was happening so fast!!! July to August were the time when everything was so HYPED, was super excited and happy for once!!! yet… as they said, easy come, easy go… at the end of September, it seems all the happiness and good things suddenly stripped away from me… like never even happened, and im still trying to digest that fact now.. so yeah, much like hanabi huh?

aint saying not grateful or anything, those amazing things sure is a permanent memory for me, something that will be a permanent thing in my life, but it’s just… I do hope it will last.. then again, my fault to even dare hoping then, hahah… heavy… but yeah, maybe that would be a good experience for a summer lover dude like me, all happiness come only during summer, dang… heavy..

OK! Just showed Tim this photo and said how can I make this? He said I could book in for two days of about 6 hours work and we could make it out of light blocks and ply wood - left for me to stain after... I also mentioned buying a cabinet off Facebook marketplace and he said we could modify that for sure. Super happy with this outcome !!! I just have to come in with a drawing and measurements. Hopefully I can source a cabinet over the weekend to work on... and my animatronic eyes... Also, I want to practice sign painting for the title...

Update zu meiner Fanfiktion-On-Off-Beziehung

So Leuddies, die einen oder anderen haben es vielleicht schon gesehen, ich bewege mich mal wieder in euren Kreisen.

Und bevor ich zum Beantworten der Fragen von @wayfaring-schofield zu Rae komme, wollte ich ein kleines Statusupdate dalassen. Btw da sind sehr nice Fragen drunter, auf die ich mich sehr freue, sie endlich zu beantworten!

Ich war eine Weile weg und jetzt hat mich das Schreiben wieder in den Bann gezogen. Ich kann sogar schon einige Fortschritte melden. Für Midnight Funeral ist das nächste Kapitel schon halb fertig. Der letzte Abschnitt macht mir da ein bisschen zu schaffen aber ich schaue mal, was ich draus zaubern kann. Auch wenn ich gar nicht weiß, ob überhaupt noch jemand an der Story interessiert ist, es hat sich richtig angefühlt zu tippen, was mir im Kopf herumschwirrte.

Und auch bei Kissed by the Devil gibt es eine Minineuigkeit… zwar noch nicht öffentlich aber bei mir hat sich einiges getan. Ich habe die Steckbriefe alle noch einmal gelesen und mich neu in meine Auserwählten verliebt! Die Webseite nimmt in Babyschritten Gestalt an und der erste Abschnitt zum ersten OC ist geschrieben. Es kann sein, dass das jetzt alles noch ein halbes Jahr dauert - da bin ich ganz realistisch - aber ich bin dran und noch immer fest entschlossen, die Story zu schreiben. Es würde mich natürlich freuen, wenn ihr anderen auch noch dabei seid. Und ganz ehrlich, ich glaube auch erst, dass die Geschichte losgeht, wenn das erste Kapitel hochgeladen ist, aber ich bin guter Dinge!

Nach langer Zeit...

hat Drohne 138117 endlich die Energie für ein kurzes Statusupdate. Die seit dem letzten Update vergangenen Monate waren für sie sehr herausfordernd und ließen ihr kaum die Möglichkeit, mit ihren regelmäßigen Updates fortzufahren. Die meiste Zeit verbrachte die Drohne in der Simulation.

Mittlerweile konnte sie die meisten dafür verantwortlichen Themen erledigen und war so in den letzten Tagen auch endlich wieder aufnahmefähig für ihre Programmierung. Nach der langen Pause fällt es ihr schwer sich komplett in den Sleep-Mode zu versetzen. Auch einige Befehle zeigen nicht mehr die volle Wirkung. Drohne 138117 wird in nächster Zeit zuerst die entsprechenden Basisfunktionen wiederherstellen, bevor sie sich erneut einer kompletten Neuprogrammierung unterzieht.

Aber wenn man ein bisschen genauer hinschaut, steckt da mehr dahinter, als man auf den ersten Blick denkt. Lass uns das mal gemeinsam auseinandernehmen. Was heißt das konkret? Im Grunde signalisiert diese Meldung, dass dein Paket nun offiziell auf Reisen geht. Es hat das sogenannte Paketzentrum im Ursprungsland oder Ursprungsgebiet erreicht – also den ersten logistischen Knotenpunkt, wo es registriert, sortiert und für den Weitertransport vorbereitet wird. Zijn millennials ouderwets? Weten ze minder?

Laten we eerlijk zijn: millennials krijgen vaak de schuld van alles. Ze zouden te gevoelig zijn, te veel avocado’s eten en de huizenmarkt om zeep hebben geholpen. Maar nu komt er een nieuw verwijt bij: zijn ze… ouderwets? Weten ze misschien zelfs minder dan jongere generaties?

Dat kan toch niet? Millennials zijn immers de generatie die opgroeide met MSN, de overgang van Nokia’s naar smartphones meemaakte en als eerste internet moesten gebruiken zonder Google als alwetende vriend. Ze wéten hoe je een videorecorder programmeert en hebben nog de trauma’s van een vastgelopen LimeWire-download. Kennis zat, zou je denken!

Maar de Gen Z’ers lachen zich een breuk. “Jullie weten niet eens hoe je een TikTok moet editen,” roepen ze, terwijl ze in 30 seconden een viral video maken met overgangen waar Steven Spielberg nog iets van kan leren. En eerlijk is eerlijk: hoeveel millennials hebben niet minstens één keer ‘help’ gegoogeld toen ze een Excel-sheet moesten maken voor werk?

Toch is het een beetje flauw. Kennis verandert gewoon. Waar millennials uitblonken in het onthouden van telefoonnummers en de perfecte statusupdate op Facebook, zijn Gen Z’ers meesters in multitasken tussen 15 verschillende apps terwijl ze tegelijkertijd een cryptische meme ontcijferen.

En dan hebben we het nog niet eens over mode! Millennials groeiden op met lage taillebroeken en frosted tips, en dachten dat dit het toppunt van stijl was. Nu komen Gen Z’ers aanzetten met wijde broeken en chunky sneakers alsof het de jaren ‘90 opnieuw zijn. Het modegevoel verschuift gewoon – en laten we eerlijk zijn, sommige trends hadden beter in het verleden kunnen blijven.

Dus, zijn millennials ouderwets? Misschien een beetje. Weten ze minder? Absoluut niet. Ze weten gewoon andere dingen. Zoals hoe je een router reset als het internet eruit ligt – en laten we eerlijk zijn, dat is de echte overlevingsvaardigheid van de moderne wereld.

It giet oan!

Onze superhond is niet te stoppen. Hij drinkt zelf, staand, uit de verhoogde waterbak die ik heb "gemaakt". Niks bijzonders, gewoon een fruitkistje op z'n kant en met de decoupeerzaag een gat erin gezaagd. Wel de perfecte hoogte voor Tor!

Zodra ik de doos waar zijn voerbak in zit ook gevonden heb (iets met een verhuizing, alles is kwijt..) krijgt hij ook zijn voer gewoon weer staand. Tot nu toe krijgt hij zijn eten onder streng toezicht anders eet Mythos (onze kater) het voer met medicatie op. Mila (de poes) is niet zo stoer en waagt het maar niet om van Tor te stelen.😂

Over voer gesproken, Astors menu ziet er op dit moment als volgt uit:

Ontbijt :

Smuldier (ontdooid) , twee maagzuurremmers, 1 tablet Carporal pijnstilling 24h, 7,5 ml Synopet gewrichtensupplement, een beetje zalmolie.

Lunch :

Halve portie Smuldier (ontdooid/gegaard, ik ben niet heel goed in dingen op tijd uit de vriezer halen) , soms 2 eetlepels griekse yoghurt als extraatje, 2 maagzuurremmers, 4 druppels CBD

Diner :

Halve portie Smuldier (ontdooid/gegaard), twee maagzuurremmers, eventuele extra's zoals een ei of ongekruide gegaarde groenten die geschikt zijn zoals broccoli, spinazie...kleine beetjes, 4 druppels CBD voor de nacht.

De maagzuurremmers doen hun werk goed ! (Weer snel geschakeld door Aukje en correct opgemaakt uit mijn telefonische statusupdate door Mariska, supertof!)

Snacks krijgt Tor wat minder, gezien zijn Speklapstatus niet helpt bij zijn mobiliteit. Er ligt wel altijd een runderoor binnen pootbereik om op te knauwen. Op het oog lijkt hij al best wat te zijn afgevallen !

Tijdens mijn lunchpauze vandaag hebben we nog even een rondje gerend :

Het valt me op dat zijn voorpoot bijna helemaal plat komt telkens. Ik kijk het even aan,gezien hij natuurlijk pas net spieren aan het opbouwen is, maar wellicht is een overlegje met onze helden geen slecht idee om zeker te zijn dat Tor daar geen problemen mee gaat krijgen als hij blijkt gewoon nog lekker lang bij ons te blijven..

Voor nu is in ieder geval duidelijk dat we onze wandelschoenen verruilen voor hardloopschoenen!♥️
