lose myself. tags : suggestive, smut?, fem!reader, wolf!wriothesley, rut, mentions of suppressants wc : 1,7k synopsis : when his agony becomes too unbearable, neither you nor him are able to control yourselves masterlist
-
The air is thick in the Fortress. Everyone has already been warned to refrain from approaching the corridor in which the Duke’s chamber was situated, let alone seek the warden himself out. Of course, no one in their right mind would even dare to do so, as everyone who resided within the fortress was well aware of this very specific yearly occurrence.
Yet, as your careful steps echoed through the vacant hallway, it was obvious that your mind was far from its right place. The cutlery and porcelain clinked on the tray in your hands, yet the sound was akin to a whisper compared to the low grunts and painful moans that you could already hear from afar. The rattling of chains and cuffs got louder the closer you stepped to the thick steel doors.
Trying to swallow past the thick lump in your throat, you breathed. In and out, several times, before you exhaled deeply one last time and dared to push through the doors.
It was dark. You could barely see in front of you if it weren’t for the light from the hallway slipping inside through the crack of the door. And then you saw him.
A sliver of blue caught your eyes and made you briefly freeze in place, letting your sight adjust to the barely illuminated room.
He was sitting on his bed, one leg lazily stretched out on the mattress while the other was pulled up towards his chest. The next thing that caught your eye were obviously the chains that were attached to the wall behind him and clinked with each miniscule movement that he made. With his cuffed hands in his lap, Wriothesley slowly lifted his head, ragged breaths turning quiet for mere seconds.
It seemed as if he had only now taken notice of your presence, which was nothing less than concerning as this man’s senses were always heightened. Always the first to hear someone approaching, and the best at recognising people solely by their smell.
“So sweet.” He had once whispered, lips brushing against your ear as he approached you in the cantine. “Could smell you all the way to my office, my love.”
Once you deemed yourself ready, you eventually dared to round the bed and set the tray down on his nightstand. Too many pills, suppressants, littered its surface, and your breath hitched when you took note of the deep claw-like scratches along the wooden piece of furniture.
“What are you-” He cleared his throat. “What are you doing here? Who let you in?”
“I let myself in.” You explained matter-of-factly, trying to keep your voice steady and controlled, pretending that you weren’t perturbed by his current state. “This is my bedroom too in case you forgot.”
Usually, Wriothesley’s deep timber laugh would make your stomach flutter, your own lips curve into a sweet content smile. But something about it seemed darker this time, almost intimidating. It made your heartbeat climb up to your throat, and your palms sweat and twitch uncontrollably. “How many times do I have to tell you?”
His head limply fell back on the headboard, his naked throat and torso on full display and glistening with light traces of sweat in the dimly lit room. With deep laboured breaths, his chest heaved and you could see how flushed the scarred skin was. “I don’t want you near me when I’m like this.”
The next smartass remark was already on your tongue until you noticed the reddened flesh along his wrists. You wondered how hard he must have been pulling on his restraints for his skin to look so raw.
The bed creaked beneath your weight as you joined him, taking a seat on the edge of the mattress just so you could inspect his wounds better. With a feather light touch, you let the pads of your fingers trail over his wrists, your movements halting at each hitch and deep exhale of his breath.
He must be in so much pain, you thought. Nonetheless, as you were sitting here in front of him, he gave his all to keep his composure since he was well aware that you worried. “It’s bad, isn’t it?” You gulped and looked up at him, taking in his dishevelled state. From the sweaty strands of hair falling over his eyes, to the dark circles underneath his eyes, everything about him screamed agony.
“Y/n.” He gritted through his teeth, the sharp white canines glinting underneath the muzzle. “Go. Away.”
With an annoyed groan, he forcefully banged his head back against the headboard when you ignored his words and instead reached for the glass of water on the tray. With the cold glass in one hand, and the end of the straw in the other, you carefully guided it through an opening of the wired muzzle and nudged his lips with it. “Come on, you must be thirsty.”
Surprised but also relieved, you sighed when he complied and started sucking on the end of the straw. With two, three hard sucks, the glass was almost empty when he guzzled and had to pull back and cough a few times. “Slow down.” You instructed gently.
“Argh- Shit!” The handcuff jingled when he suddenly moaned, his forehead scrunching as he squeezed his eyes shut. Quickly, you set the glass aside yet all you could do was watch his body turn rigid, the muscles beneath his hot skin tensing as another gruesome wave of pain washed over him.
Almost instinctively, your hands reached out towards him to feel him, calm him, comfort him-
But in that same instant your world was turned upside down and it took you a while to realise that Wriothesley had pinned you beneath him. His restrained hands briefly brushed along the top of your head as his elbows dug into the mattress, the man shakily hovering above you and breathing so heavily you could feel each warm exhale on your face.
“Darling, you have to go.” He stressed again, though this time you could discern something different besides annoyance in his voice. Desperation. However, you weren’t sure whether he was desperate to save you from himself or to keep you here with him.
Your eyes stung when a broken whine escaped him as your hand grazed the base of his ears. You watched them twitch several times with each touch of yours before they flattened on his head, his breath hitching when his body tensed up again. “Wri’, let me help you. Please.”
Slowly, as if fearing to scare away a wild wounded animal, your palm trailed down his chest. “Don’t.” The hoarse whisper sent a rush through your body. His heart was beating so fast. Your hand trailed furtner down to his abs. “Darling.” He warned, while he was still as tense as ever, but his words did not match his body language as he didn’t shy away. Until your fingertips slid along the waistband of his pants, until you could feel the thick clothed bulge. Fuck, he was so hard-
“Oh, fucking hell- Stop.” He shouted, probably loud enough for whoever was lingering down the hall to hear him. Yet you didn’t so much as blink or twitch a finger in response.
Instead, he watched as your hands gently settled on each side of his face, and he knew what you were going to do. Wriothesley’s hands tightened into fists, the thick cold material of the cuffs digging further into his skin, though all he could feel right now was your body beneath his. How warm and soft you felt, how good you smelled, how beautiful you looked.
With a soft “click”, the muzzle loosened and fell from his face before you discarded it and haphazardly threw it somewhere to the side.
Bites and indents of his teeth could be clearly seen along his lower lip from all the times he must have bitten down on it. You tenderly cupped his cheek, and watched his nostrils flare as your thumb traced his marred mouth.
Wriothesley swore he could feel his dick twitch solely at the soft gasp you let out when he parted his lips, and his wet tongue tasted the digit. With a deep hum, he closed his eyes and started sucking on your thumb, the tip of his tongue ever so often tickling your skin until he pulled back with a wet pop.
“Wriothesley. Come on.” Your entire body was shaking at this point with anticipation. “Let me take care of you. I know you won’t hurt me.” At least not more than you could handle.
He huffed but could not control himself from leaning down to press his nose against your neck. How he was able to refrain himself from sinking his teeth into your neck and littering it with bites and hickeys, he didn’t know himself. “How do you know?”
“I just know.” It was a weak whisper, yet carried so much more weight with the way you were looking at him. Eyes so full of life, so full of tenderness, so full of love. Love for him.
Times and times he had wondered how you could do something like that. Love him, that is. But over and over, again and again, you had proved that some things simply did not need an explanation. Some things were given like the blue in the sky, or the constant change of seasons. Nobody questioned them. And so you had also made it clear to him to not ever allow himself to question your feelings for him.
When the bed creaked again, and Wriothesley witnessed you lift your hips up to slip your garments down, that oh-so-sweet scent invaded his senses, and you could see how the last ounce of his resolve crumbled. His ears twitched as he watched you unbutton his pants and tug the zipper down, so damn slowly. And before you had even a chance to wrap your hand around him, he was already bucking his hips into your palm, his chest and neck all flushed.
“Fuck, fuck. Fine, but I’ll keep the handcuffs on.” He rasped, but grinned wickedly when he heard you whimper once his teeth found their way in your soft flesh.

On The Same Page pt 6(Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Reader Bookshop! AU)
Stuck in by the rain, you, Simon, and Sam receive important news over dinner...
Part 5, Part 7, Masterlist
Image from GIF by tana-the-dreamchaser
Simon followed you up the stairs like a shadow, his steps even but quiet. If not for his hand seeking yours you would have thought him a ghost. He seems to seek you like a moth to starlight and you find yourself relaxing with his close presence. You reach the door at the top of the stairs and push it open to be met with the smell of a simmering spice. You perk up instantly and call out for Sam. His curls pop out of the kitchen and seeing your entwined hands he smiles.
“Are you making what I think you are making?” You ask hopefully, eyes softened towards your friend. You step into the living area and release your hand from Simon’s. He abides by it but lingers close to you, choosing to take in his surroundings.
The vibes of the apartment are, well, eclectic. Amongst the thriving house plants, SImon can see little bits of you and Sam. The worn love seat a dappled plum color, a plush leather couch, and, he looks at the floor and chuckles, a fox in a sweater welcome mat. You move to the kitchen after asking Simon to make himself comfortable. He nods and moves to the loveseat, taking your backpack off and setting it to the side before taking a seat. He observes further as you step into the kitchen to talk to Sam.
On the coffee table, there is a vase of sunflowers, the TV stand is an old steamer trunk, and lining the far walls across from the door are books. Upon four shelves is a library’s worth of books and Simon stands and approaches them. Upon further expectation he cracks a smile, the inner panel of the bookshelves are painted the same as the ceiling of the bookstore. A rough hand comes up and he traces the spines of some of the leather-bound books. There are books of all kinds roughly categorized by genre. Littered amongst the shelves are other things, among them, Simon finds things like a cow teapot, a Union Jack mug holding pens, leather-bound notebooks, a dragon beanie baby, and something else that pauses his searching.
On a desk in the middle of the two sets of shelves is a collection of mechanical parts. The smell of gun oil and steel pulls memories from service and he leans down, turning on the desk lamp to examine it closer. In the middle of the desk is a typewriter. The carriage is set aside from the body of the typewriter and the smell of oil gets stronger. He looks around the table and finds a myriad of cases, some big and others small, mostly belonging to what he assumes to be typewriters.
You pop your head out of the kitchen to call for SImon but you find him engrossed in his examination. You smile, unsurprised at his curiosity, most visitors are drawn in by the book before stumbling upon your workstation. You step out of the kitchen and call to him. He looks up and turns to you in question.
“Dinner is ready.”
You say it with a growing grin as Sam had made enchiladas in a Tex-Mex style you missed. Simon looks back to the disassembled typewriter once more before he approaches you and follows you into the kitchen. If the living area was eclectic the kitchen was more so. Along the walls of the modest space hung pictures of every kind. Along the side wall, under a window was an old dresser or antique buffet that held a beaten-up record player. Along the wall were art prints, old diagrams, and book posters. On the buffet, next to the kitchen table was a collection of tabletop books, big glossy things meant as eye candy. He huffs a laugh at the selection: fox photo collections, Jules Verne releases, and typewriters.
He turns his attention to Sam who is already sitting at the table, three places set for you guys to eat. Even the cutlery and plates are a mix of wild colors and subtle finery. You move to the stove where a baking dish holds something excellent smelling. Grabbing some oven mitts (fox chefs of course) you take the dish and set it on some ceramic pot holders on the table.
“I hope you like enchiladas.” You say it with a pleased expression before shooting Sam a nostalgic smile. You motion for Simon to sit and he does before you take the seat next to him.
You all begin to eat without much fuss, conversation passing in softer words between you and Sam while Simon chimes in every once in a while. However, after about 15 minutes in, Sam pauses as if remembering something.
You see a look pass over his face before he reaches behind him and picks up a letter off of the counter behind him. He offers it to you and you recognize the handwriting.
“Sofia was here earlier, she looked urgent and dropped this off mentioning for you to read it. Something about a collaboration of some kind for a release over here. She wouldn’t give me more details than that before she was rushing off to her next appointment.”
“Huh,” You work on prying the envelope open gently, “she would normally call.”
Sam shrugs but watches with curiosity as you pull out a typed document. The paper at first touch is heavy, almost a thin cardstock, and the smell of ink and paper is crisp. There is even a wax seal holding the paper close and you want to roll your eyes. The sneaking familiarity seeps into your bones as you swipe a finger under the seal breaking it and unfolding the paper. When you read the heading your stomach clenches. It was from your old company. Something in your demeanor must have changed as you lean back in your chair feeling suddenly winded. Sharp eyes turn to you and Simon and Sam both stop eating.
“What is it? Sam asks with concern, leaning forward in his chair. Simon next to you frowns as your eyes skim the letter, your shoulders getting tenser and tenser. At the end of the letter, you bite your lip before slowly closing the letter and handing it across the table to Sam without a word. He about tears it open and reads it himself.
“This is bullshit.” These are the first words out of his mouth and he tosses the letter onto the table. You don't reply, instead pushing your almost empty plate aside and putting your head in your hands with a sigh. Simon’s hand finds your knee under the table instantly and you eye him through your hands. There is exhaustion in your eyes, one that is familiar to him. You move to lay your head down with a sigh, leaning towards Simon naturally for comfort.
“What is it, Dove?” He asks, voice low.
“Read for yourself.” Is all you offer and he does so, reaching a long arm for the letter before reading.
The letter begins with a ‘greetings’ in a faceless text. Following are niceties and a “wish you are well’. One that you wanted to scoff at, given your last encounter with your previous publisher. He continues over the unnecessary and gets to the meat of the letter.
… due to the raving success of your last book under our services, we have decided to do a release tour and event of James’s new book under your direction. We have already reached out to Sofia for contact with you. Given both books' American popularity, we expect such a collaboration to benefit not only you but also White Owl Publishing. We expect James’s arrival in London this Sunday. If you have any questions please reach us at…
Simon frowns and looks at you.
“When the hell did James start writing?” Sam asks you but you just groan and pull yourself up, a hand reaching under the table to squeeze Simon’s in silent thanks. Something serious settles over you,
“I don’t know. Maybe when he started sleeping with the CEO’s daughter.”
You bite it, voice sharp as a knife. The woman was an accomplished author under her fathers' direction and specialized in YA and new adult romance novels. You used to hold a lot of respect for her when you first joined the company but she soon, after learning of your specialization in children's literature, became downright dismissive. That dismission partnered with a giggly fascination with James, turned you away from her and towards the more quiet of the other authors and editors. However, given her status as the CEO's daughter, there was no escaping her influence, thankfully Sofia was always with you, and due to your focus on children, you didn't have to interact with her much. Other than events like the Publisher’s Gala, and well you know how the last one turned out.
After the gala, you had learned from one loyal person, a fellow children's author named Sarah that the affair had been going strong for months. She hadn’t known until a drunk Sabrina had bragged on his arm at an after-party that faithful night. She called the moment she discovered your plans to leave and wanted you to know.
Back in the moment, you debate your options. Given the publication’s no doubt about you after the Gala, you couldn’t risk saying no to this. Why they wanted to associate with a ‘failure and second rate nobody’ you didn't know. You look to Sam, his family's business was now connected with one of the largest publishers in America, and you weren't going to risk their skins because of disgust and fear. A silent resolution lit up your face, Sam, seeing this, grins.
“You're going to go with this.” It's not a question out of his mouth. A shaky smile hits your face at that. Simon just looks to you, something about your determination makes him want to smile. His hand turns to entangle with yours under the table and you look at him, taking this as his support.
“Johnny will want to knock some heads” His voice surprises you and laughter bubbles out of your chest. It quiets down to giggles a moment later and you pull your plate back to you. He wasn't wrong. A few tea times after meeting the man you had told the Scot the story of why you ended up in London. His brows furrowed and looking at you he cursed.
“Cheat? On a prize like you lass? Need me to do him in?”
You mention this to Simon in a giggle. He smiles.
“Good man, Johnny is.”
He runs his thumb over your knuckles and you breathe out as your heart skips a beat, tension draining from your form as you take another bite before nodding in agreement. Simon gives you a small smile before he turns back to his food with a hum, but his hand remains in yours through the rest of dinner.
---
After dinner, you stand up to collect the dishes. Sam gives you a look before shooting up to race you to the sink. You beat him by a foot before splashing him with cool water. He chuckles at you, eyes brightening at your mirthful expression. You hear the sound of a chair and Simon stands. Sam looks at you with a grin and a raised brow before he pulls himself into a stretch.
He looks at Simon and then back to himself.
“I may have a shirt and some sweats if you’d like to change Simon.”
The taller man moves around the table and pauses, looks down at his jeans, and gives a nod. With the confirmation, Sam winks at you and leaves the kitchen for his room. You shake your head fondly before going to wash the dishes, but a hand stops you. Simon is next to you then, the proximity quickening your heart once again.
“I’ll do ‘em,”
is a statement and he nudges you aside gently with his large frame. You realize then just how big he is. While you were by no means tiny, Simon was tall. Sam was easily 6’ but you had to tilt your head to look up at Simon. He started dutifully washing plates without any more comments so you studied the side profile of his face. With a strong jawline cut with a few scars, your eyes focus on his eyes, focused and quiet as he works. The action, so domestic, calms something in you. While you loved being with Sam, you missed being with a partner sometimes, the attraction and the comfort. You loved Sam like a brother and that came with the typical roommate squabbles sometimes, you laugh mentally. You missed James some though despite everything. Having another person to hold was a human element absent in your life.
But, your heart murmured, there is Simon.
You sigh inwardly, your heart skipping a beat as you envision his smiles. They lit up his face in a way that took the weight of his service, the exhaustion, off his shoulders for even a brief moment. He had seemingly been open, but respectful about some sort of feelings towards you, and you cherished his careful support.
Your hand on his arm pauses Simon, and his eyes flicker down to yours in question. Without much thought your hand traces what is exposed of his forearm, fingers swirling around the inked skin, you linger a moment. Then, with a steady exhalation from Simon, your hands follow up his arm and over the sleeve, feeling the strength of his bicep Simon stills. His other hand reaches for the hand towel and setting the plate down he pulls back from the sink and turns his attention fully to you.
You look engrossed in your study of him, like a jeweler over a diamond or precious stone. You lift for a moment seeing the towel and step back, allowing the man to dry his hands before he takes the next step to follow you. Your eyes widen in realization when your back hits the side counter and Simon steps comfortably, naturally even, into your space.
Your breath catches in your throat when he raises a hand to your face, it ghosts over your cheek before, heart pounding, you lean into his palm. It is rough, worn from years of work, but it's warm, and something deep in you preens at the touch. Honey eyes find yours, widening a moment as you lean in, before lowering in reverence. Here you were, he thought,
“Sweet thing.”
It comes out in a whisper and your heart clenches. You close your eyes, raising a hand against his, cherishing the feel of the touch. His heart stutters then when you reopen your eyes and give him a sweet smile. Your hand runs down his arm and the other wraps around his abdomen and you close the space between the both of you with an embrace. His arms drop in surprise, but as your head comes to rest against his chest, they soon engulf you in the scent of leather and smoke.
With your ear against his sturdy chest, you can hear his heart pick up, you smile to yourself then, happy the effect is mutual. Simon inhales the scent of old books and baked goods and hums, the sound reverberating through you. He chuckles before setting his head on yours just enjoying the feeling of you in his arms. You mutter something and he questions you with another hum. You repeat it a bit louder.
“Want dessert?” The question incites a chuckle from him and his arms loose to look down at you. Something swirls in his eyes, warm like syrup, and his lips quirked up in a smile.
“Sure, Honey.” The two syllables of endearment are languid and you bask in them like a noon sun. His eyes flicker down to your lips a moment and your breath catches, but the sound of footsteps alerts you to Sam. You know him well enough, he doesn't want to interrupt so you smile at Simon and run your hands up his arms before stepping out of his grasp. Sam enters a second later with a bundle of clothes. His eyes are lit up and after glancing at you he grins at Simon.
“Here you are, Mate.” He gives a mock British accent and hands the bundle to Simon. You then pat the taller man's arm.
“Guest room is down the hall, Sam will show you. There's a bathroom too. I hope you eat cheesecake?”
You ask him and he just nods before Sam motions to him to follow. Simon gives you one last glance then heads after Sam. Once both men are out of the kitchen you grasp at your pounding heart as your stomach flutters. You felt giddy, a childish wonder in your heart at the affection. Simon was so warm and you felt safe in his arms. You hum to yourself as you pass to the fridge, opening it and examining the inside.
Beside produce and leftovers sat your quarry, made a day or so ago. There sat a glorious strawberry shortcake cheesecake, made by you. Albeit there was a slice missing courtesy of Sam but the cake was an absolute unit. You pull the covered dish out carefully as Sam pads into the kitchen alone. He leans against the counter as you work and regards you.
You hum more as you work, relaxing further in his presence, reaching to grab three plates. You then cut modest slices for each of you before sticking the rest of the cake back in the fridge.
“You’re thinking too loud Sammy.”
You then turn to him, a knowing look on your face. What surprises you is the serious look on his, Sam’s arms are crossed as he leans. You set the plates on the table before approaching your friend.
“What’s wrong?”
Green eyes turn to you, dark as English ivy, and they flicker down to you.
“I think James means trouble.”
It is all he offers. You sigh, taking a seat at the table. You think a moment. You wondered why your manager, Sofia wouldn't have called you, but this seemed like such a sudden onset by your old publisher. Given her sudden rush to leave you wondered where this put Sam’s family. Hearing your story the small publisher was happy to take both you and Sofia under their wing. White Owl Publishing was small, but they had cherished new classics under them. Your eyes flick up to meet Sam’s.
“We can’t risk your family’s reputation. Not after everything they've done for me and Sofia.”
Sam’s jaw clenches and you are taken aback a moment when his muscles tense. Sam had always been the most level-headed person you know.
“I don’t give a shit after what he’s done to you.” It is firm, Sam stands taller at the statement. You think back to the firm grip on your neck. Showing up at Sam’s door with tears streaming down your face, the choked sobs. It was the first but not the last time the man had laid hands on you. Weeks before the gala was marked with a possession like no other by James. In hindsight making up for his affair but you didn’t and still don’t understand why Sam triggered it.
“I should have knocked his teeth in the first time he touched you.”
Sam’s voice is even but you can sense the rage simmering. You get up and go to him seeking to comfort him but you jump when you see the form of Simon at the entrance of the kitchen. Your surprise has Sam turning as well, the simmer broken.
“He grabbed you, Dove?” Simon’s voice is ice. If you thought Sam was simmering rage, Simon has the look of a soldier. His eyes are dark and his lips are up in a snarl, but he is collected, with a refined rage, trained to kill. You gulp. You nod slowly.
“In the past month or so before the gala, when I found out he was cheating. James got possessive.” You say it calmly but there is a bubble of anxiety, black and vile, in your stomach. You try to shake it off, but the shadow of the experience hangs over you. Simon, fresh from the shower steps into the kitchen, hands open in an offering. Sam watches as you glance at Simon before stepping into the man’s embrace, something in his chest settling with firm contentment.
Simon on the other hand wraps you in one arm and uses his hand to smooth down your hair. He rocks you slowly and you melt in his arms. You calm in his arms, staying a quiet moment before running a hand over his shoulder and reluctantly pulling back. You look up to Simon with a shy smile,
“The cake will get warm.”
He lets you go slowly and follows you and Sam to the table. He takes the same seat and is met with a heavenly smell. The smell of vanilla and strawberry draws his eyes to the masterpiece in front of him. Sam offers him a smile before taking a large bite out of the cake that makes you giggle. You look at Simon before taking your own, albeit more modest bite. Simon follows and is met with heaven. Strawberry bursts on his tongue as the combination of heavy cheesecake and fluffy shortcake mix into a powerful combination.
“Fucking hell Love.” Is all he offers and you laugh, not expecting such a reaction from the stoic man. Your laughter is music to his ears,
“Glad you like it, Simon.”
He could get used to the sound of his name rolling off your tongue.

Caving In
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
Summary: Natasha visits Reader's apartment and she gives in.
Words: 956
You wished that you had never opened the door.
Natasha stood on the other side of the threshold, highlighted by the yellow glow of the sparse lights that dotted the hallway. Her red hair rested on her shoulders, not a single strand out of place. Her green eyes were clear and bright.
“So?” Natasha prompted, holding up the plastic bag in her hand. The smell of delicious fried food filled the air. “Are you going to let me in?”
You wanted to say no. You wanted to slam the door in her face. She was a page in your life that you wanted to rip out and throw away. Her hair, her eyes, her body, those lips. They were part of a life that you no longer lived, that you never wanted to revisit.
And yet, you found yourself stepping aside.
She entered your apartment and went straight into the kitchen, her deep and rich perfume washing over you as she passed. You sucked on your teeth, reigned in a sigh, then closed the door.
She knew exactly what she was doing. That scent, the warm presence of it, permeated the wall that you had spent the last few months trying to build. It elicited memories of humid evenings huddled in a rundown barn on the side of a rural road, long nights tangled in the silk sheets of a 5-star hotel, hours crouched on the top of a roof in the pouring rain, long evenings of sitting in the dark stitching up deep painful wounds.
You followed Natasha into the dimly-lit kitchen. She pulled two plates out of one of the cupboards then opened a drawer and rummaged through the cutlery you’d thrown into it. She gathered a knife and two forks.
You hadn’t bothered organizing your kitchen. It was the only part of the apartment you hadn’t renovated yet, though it definitely needed it. You doubted it had been touched since the 1960’s. It had pale blue paint that occasionally flaked into your food or drinks and the most horrendous red tile countertops that were so cracked you could hardly tell where one tile ended and another began.
Natasha was wholly unbothered by it. You didn’t think she would be, considering the state of the places you and her had stayed in, but it still came as a slight shock. She suited a Central Park penthouse better than this.
“I heard you were in Paris,” Natasha said as she transferred the food from the containers onto plates.
You crossed your arms and shrugged. “And?”
“You hate Paris.”
“It’s better than Manhattan.”
Natasha hummed and grabbed the plates. She made her way into the living room and sat on the couch, setting the plates onto the coffee table. “Why did you come back so soon?”
You didn’t bother answering; Natasha already knew the answer. The Avengers only let you drift so far and for so long. They wanted you close in case the sky split open again. At least, that’s what they said. You were certain that Natasha had meddled in that agreement more than she admitted. She was, after all, the one that had convinced Tony Stark that you weren’t a threat to America despite very much being one. She had even managed to have him to give you an apartment and a very healthy allowance on top of it.
“Why are you here?” you asked as Natasha started to eat the fries from her plate.
She had her eyes pinned to you as she ate. You steeled yourself and stared right back.
You knew you would give in. You always did. You always let her in, you always gave way to her desires. If she invited you to a hotel or out to drinks at a dive bar, it would only be a matter of time before you caved and agreed, no matter how hard you fought against it.
You didn’t even know why you tried to resist anymore. At first it was a way to separate your past life from this one, then it was punishment for all you had done. You had caused so much pain, so much suffering. You had dedicated your life to repenting for all you had done. You did whatever the Avengers asked of you, volunteered at soup kitchens, donated what extra money you had.
Now, you had settled into a life sequestered away in your apartment, renovating the same rooms over and over again. When you weren’t stuck painting or decorating or polishing your floors, you were in high-end boutiques and designer stores, spending that very generous allowance on fine clothes and handbags.
Yet not even a fifty-thousand-dollar Hermès bag could ease your pain. Not in the way Natasha did.
Natasha finished her mouthful and patted the couch beside her. “Eat before your food gets cold.”
You opened your mouth, ready to find an excuse, and then she smiled. Her warm, radiant smile. The smile that washed away your worries again and again. The smile that reminded you that the world wasn’t all sharp edges and cold blades. The smile that filled your empty chest with passion.
You let out a breath and allowed your arms to fall to your side. You took in a deep breath, steadied yourself, then settled onto the couch.
“I thought you were supposed to be in Denver,” you said and picked up your plate.
“I leave in the morning,” Natasha said. “I wanted to see you before I left.”
You couldn’t help the smile that sprouted on your lips. You hid it by taking a bite of food, but that did nothing to hide the blush that crept along your cheeks when Natasha placed her hand on your thigh.

Brain Curd #68
Brain Curds are lightly edited flash fiction - practically first drafts - posted daily and sometimes written with the express intention of being terrible… but, you know, in an endearing way. Please enjoy.
Alice’s toast popped up from the toaster, slightly overdone. She rolled her eyes.
“We need to replace that toaster, Dan!”
Dan yelled back something unintelligible from upstairs. She wasn’t sure he’d heard her, but a slightly overdone piece of toast wasn’t a big deal. She took a butter knife from the drawer and nearly touched it to the butter dish, but stopped. She brought it close to her face to examine it. There was a brown spot on the blade.
She frowned at it. What the hell is that? She thought back to everything they’d eaten since moving in. It was mostly takeout, the sort of thing that came with its own pristine plastic cutlery. It was rare that she reached for a piece of silverware from the drawer. So maybe this brown mark predated the common era entirely.
In any case, the thing to do was to scrub until it was gone. She turned the sink on to a medium-high sort of heat and grabbed a green scrubbing pad. She went at it for about five minutes before realizing it wasn’t working. The spot was exactly the same as when she started.
Alice huffed and threw down the scrubber. She set the knife down on the sink and crouched to open the cabinet underneath. When she emerged again, she wore thick rubber gloves and held a bottle of Brasso in one hand and steel wool in the other.
She squeezed the bottle onto the spot and began scrubbing with all her weight. The cloudy paste on the surface of the knife turned a light brown. She smiled, but her face still showed determination. She continued scrubbing, scrubbing, scrubbing. And when she was afraid she might have sanded halfway through the blade, she stopped and rinsed it off.
But the brown spot remained.
Confused, she looked at it from every angle. There was no explanation for how this could be. She washed it with a sponge, dried it with a paper towel, and stuck it in the back of the drawer, behind the organizer, where they kept the ice cream scoop. She’d clean it another day. Before she shut the drawer, she took another knife to spread the butter on her toast. But she touched the plate and realized it had entirely gone cold.
She looked between the plate and the toaster, sighed, and put the toast back in.

Genuine questions about the Apocalyptic Genre
So, what is the shelf life of a bullet? Assuming that it was left in a box in a relatively dry, temperate room?
What would happen if it got humid / wet?
What about guns? Let's assume they're in a safe, how long can they go unoiled and ignored before they're useless?
A lot of the things Survivors in apocalypse and zombie movies find to save them just, don't seem practical to find and be able to use without any ongoing maintainence or care
And some things break down naturally (eg petrol has about 6mths of use if stored perfectly).
Fabric frays and can wear thin over time, but heat, rain, huidity and substances can increase the decay
Food is impermanent
Seeds do not last forever, unless stored Very Specifically, and your average shopping centre isn't going to.
Plastic gets brittle over time, and breaks.
A lot of stuff we use is straight up designed to fail after a certain period of time.
Medications? Forget it, you're already dead. Mobility aids? Anything that needs electricity?
Generators that aren't solar powered are likely going to be impacted after a period of time, esp fuel based.
Cars? There's a lot of little parts that can go tits up. Sure, maybe you luck out and you bunk down next to a nearby car superstore, still not going to have Everything for Every Model and Year. Headlights, wipers, etc. may sound small... but when you need them, you need them.
Tyres? Rubber wears down rapidly.
Clothes - do you know how to manufacture fabric? Sure you might run into a lincraft or spotlight in the early days and have fabric to spare in your panic hut but, at some point, someone's going buck wild. Fabric wears out.
Camping stuff? Assuming you have a tent and basic stuff? Not many are made to last forever (except some super expensive models, etc)
--------------
So, what could you reasonably expect to find say...
a) Day 1 of the apocalypse, zombie or otherwise? Probably most things.
b) Month 1 of the apocalypse? A lot of food and medications would have spoiled, industry went down even if only in certain fields, cars would be blocking the way, maybe some places have electricity and water. Depends on the area.
c) Two months? 6 months? A lot of things people assume they will find or have access to in an apocalyptic setting are gone, or not in useable condition.
d) 12 months to 2 years, even a lot of the canned stuff isn't safe. The main thing you need is common sense and a knowledge of dangerous food signs (botulism) like buldging cans.
------------
What could we possibly think to have access to, scavenger wise?
Let's assume that that apocalypse was a devastation that did not involve aliens or zombies or being hunted. The rules would be different. Not a lot of humanity left.
+First things would be checking house to house in a radius out from your own to find people and animals that have been left. Free who you can. Livestock might need to have gates opened so they can move to somewhere with more grass or food... if you are not used to livestock, use your brain but also try to find someone who might have more of a clue how to move them safely.
+Take inventory of what you have on you and have access to, food, water, clothes, etc.
+One good zombie apocalypse podcast mentioned that day one they had everyone fill up all containers and bathtubs and buckets with water in case the power went out. Sounds good. If you have tanks, make sure you have a ladder somewhere, to do the old 'how much' test.
+Some way to make fire. The flick lighter you have now will work, until it runs dry... start thinking of other options from day 1, because that day will come. The wood sticks and friction works, but is slow, flint/steel not everyone has options, two stones can take ages to spark, etc.
+Probably cutlery and some cooking items. Worth collecting, esp if its more than just you and you lost your own home / were a brand new uni person with nothing in the apartment.
+If you have a cooler, but no access to ice, it might not be ideal. In the first days, though, you might have a chance to use it with ice for meat and other items. Ice boxes are brilliant and last DAYS if used right, without a change to ice. But not a forever option.
The question is if you then need to move somewhere cooler.
+If you raided a school you could get one of those big plastic drink containers to store water in. Or most bunnings type places have the 20L water containers, some with spouts. Bonus of getting a trolley thing to pull it about in. Its about a lot of water that can be ported as needed. They are uncomfy to lug hand-wise over distance, because of the way it dangles of your arm, but if you got creative with ties, you could backpack it.
+Bags. Different shapes and types, especially backpacks.
+Water bottles, or containers like thermos that would hold stuff for long treks, etc. Most camping stores could have the little pouches and the long straw but like... you get a bit of mildew in there and the whole thing is a pain to clean etc.
+Assuming you can settle somewhere, and are not 100% mobile the whole time, you'd be focused on being somewhere with access to wood for fire (food, heat, light) depending on the type of apocalypse.
+Cheap stores could be plundered in the early times for shitty items that might work a few times, and basic hygiene items. You don't need brand name if you're desperate to be clean. Soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, a towel or two, etc. They won't last foreever, but when a towel starts to die out, it becomes other things like rags,, something to patch up a hole in the wall, fire starter material (most are polycotton)
Stuff that you need in the moment but can replace as life goes on.
+A basic toolkit, might last a while (live in a Bunnings, you might have a chance to rebuild society lmao, garden section, tools, even dog and cat foods there too if you manage to get out with your furry fam)
+In any school or ofice there should be at least one orange over full first aid kit. Grab it. The things in it will need a bit of updating over time, and discarded after a time.
+Pharmacy - you're gonna need meds and a local medicine wizard who can find solutions for the meds that run out and aren't replaced, if any.
+Paper and pens, something to help you leave notes for others to let them know where you are, or where to get help. Even just keep diary and inventory. You could try carving on rock but who has the time?
+Seeds and fertiliser. This'd need to happen earlier o, and if water is scarce you might need to get creative - is there a dam nearby or a creek they could plant near? Can you get soe of those Easy Planters that have a little wate tray under that kind of manages itself.
At least one shovel. If the rich try to raise prices on things... remember, a lot of fertiliser can be improved through the addition of blood and bone.
+I'd raid the library for things like a Big Book of First Aid, any book that told of native foods and poisonous plants, any How To Guides, and also some novels of different kinds to make sure no one was going to lose their minds. Maybe steal a whiteboard and some markers, so you can teach others these things, because hopefully there'd be a community starting up to replace what was lost.
Hopefully, the librarians wouldnt kill you.
+Cloth, pillows, bedding (possibly from stores or from abandoned homes of the gone), even scraps from the op shops and general clothes. Thread - try to find the cotton stuff, the plastic 2 dollar stuff from cheap stores tends to snap easy, esp with too much tension. fine for little stuff tho.
Coathangers too, you want this stuff up off the ground and not in a Pile. that's snake heaven and also a quick way for it to molder. Where possible, for a community, you'd want to find a way to get and store clothes of all ages and sizes because there'll be kids, and they grow so goddamn fast. Shoes... are negotiable.
+Lots of those Put 'em together Yourself furniture items will die if too old, wet or simply the stars are aligned wrong. Plan further out whn possible.
+Fuel - we know it doesn't last forever. Also a lot of chemicals will likely either be inert or super dangerous after a period of time, be careful handling bottles you find, etc.
+Food - finding in the initial, no wokkas. OVer time? Flour doesn't last forever. You can get eggs if you have food for chickens and the shelter for them. Maybe if you have a butcher you would be able to manage the acquisition of meat... or make do.
I have thought about Farming in the Apocalypse. The problem with the idea of a protagonist just Finding a farm and mangically getting food is that, that's not how it works.
Any farming family can tell you that there's so many different parts to a farm, turning crops, caring for cows and cattle, even just milking must be done regularly or the cows can have severe problems or die. Sheep need regular care and shearing, and also you have to manage them so they don't get flyblown, etc.
You can't turn the tractors on after a certain time, the harvesters, etc. You'd need to think about possible acres of fields needing to be managed by hand. Some crops get burned to stubble, how can that be safely managed? What do you, random possible city protagonist, know about rotating crops?
Do yuo understand what to do for animal husbandry? Hopefully someone from one of the families around would be there, and able to guide and manage it overall, train the survivors, but that never works out in movies.
You might have eggs, milk, meat, and some forms of food in this situation (depending on the farm, some are specifically one or two things), not much fruit
You would need to find a fruit solution, even if you have to raid a shopping centre for rotting fruit to see if you can salvage the seeds. IT would take time to cultivate, even if it did.
Could reach out to any horticulturists who survived, I guess.
+If you can learn to cure the skins, you'd have leather. It needs some human intervention, and piss, so someone would find joy in that...
You can use leather for clothes, shoes, bags, waterskeins (find yourself a medieval reenactor, most can do it themselves), tents, even (if done right) a makeshift pot on the fire. Absolutely fascinating what can be done with it, and it lasts.
----------
There's so much I think about when it comes to the apocalypse.
Maybe it wouldn't be the most exciting to read/listen to someone eeking out each day in the world left behind, but imagine the story.
Even several stories of people all over hte globe finding new ways to keep going. Some countries would barely be affected, given they alreay live between modern and traditional, and that duality is passed down to the following generations.
But in the industrialised world, where everything is from somewhere so removed from us that the public couldn't work out how to cook a roast on a fire without etting it aflame... like, ometimes I wonder.
The possibilities are endless.
The loss of what is known and the distress of realising that the loss isnt finished. It's going to keep going... again and again, as food runs out, clothes wear away, cars stop working, fuel goes inert, what was known corrodes and either you adapt, or let it drive you inwards.
It could be more fun if the only worry in the apocalyptic wastelands isn't 'need guns, and gun food (bullets)' - also sex.
Sure, that's a human desire but like, we can swing by the adult toy store and see if there's someone inflatable for you to chill with until we get basic needs going, because a baby would be the Worst Thing right now. Actually, what is the expiry date on most contraceptives?
I mean, you'd need weapons. Esp in a farming situation... sometimes births go wrong or an animal breaks their leg, or they're poisoned and suffering. Like, you have to manage that. Especially in a time without vets at the snap of a finger.
There's some practicalities, apart from just This Is Our Town Stranger as part of the dramatic climax, where they then have an Intense Head Nod during an ensuing fight, and now Stranger is One of Us.
I have no idea where this was going lmao, I have been thinking about how silly some of the Survival nonsense is in movies and books and podcasts.
And everything again changes if you are contending with being hunted by aliens, the infected/zombies, animals, etc...
But you can't eat bullets... except in one way. You can't quench thirst with a well oiled gun. Also, guns are loud, I know that gets brought up a lot but what is the fastest way to alert someone to your location? Firework boom boom. Get a damn axe. And a GRINDSTONE. Blunt ones won't split skulls or carapaces or whatevs.
#random thoughts about the apocalypse genre#also what if you need glasses?#ya fucked#hearing aids? again the batteries are hard to come by

7 Simple Ways to Embrace Reusable Products in Everyday Life
Have you ever opened your trash can and wondered where all that waste comes from? From food packaging to single-use plastics, most of us throw away more than we realize. Over time, these habits pile up—not just in our homes, but in landfills and oceans. That’s why embracing a lifestyle built around reusable products can make such a powerful difference.
Switching to sustainable alternatives isn’t just a trend; it’s a meaningful shift toward reducing waste, saving money, and living more mindfully. In this guide, I’m going to share seven practical, easy-to-adopt strategies to help you bring more reusable items into your daily routine.
Whether you’re just starting out or already using eco-friendly options, you’ll find tips here that fit your lifestyle and help you make positive changes without feeling overwhelmed.
1. Bring Your Own Bags and Containers
One of the simplest and most impactful habits you can develop is carrying your own shopping bags. Plastic bags are used for an average of 12 minutes, yet they can take hundreds of years to break down.
Reusable grocery bags made from canvas, jute, or recycled materials are sturdier and much better for the planet. Keep a few in your car or by the front door so you don’t forget them when you head out.
Beyond shopping bags, consider investing in reusable produce bags and storage containers. When you visit the bulk section or bring home fresh vegetables, these containers help you avoid unnecessary packaging. Over time, you’ll notice just how much less plastic comes into your kitchen.
2. Swap Single-Use Bottles for Refillable Options
If you haven’t already made the switch to a reusable water bottle, this is your sign to start. Not only does it save countless plastic bottles from ending up in landfills, but it also helps you stay hydrated wherever you go.
Look for stainless steel or glass bottles that are BPA-free and designed to last. Many brands now offer insulated versions that keep drinks cold (or hot) for hours, which is perfect for busy days or workouts.
You can take this mindset a step further by using refillable coffee cups and thermoses when you stop at your favorite café. Most shops are happy to fill your own container, and some even offer discounts for doing so.
3. Switch to Reusable Food Wraps
Cling film and plastic sandwich bags are convenient, but they’re some of the most common sources of kitchen waste. An easy alternative is switching to reusable food wraps, like beeswax or silicone covers.
These wraps mold to bowls and containers or wrap directly around produce, cheese, or bread. They’re washable, last for months, and keep your food fresh just as well as disposable options.
If you pack lunches or snacks regularly, reusable silicone bags are another smart solution. They seal tightly and can go straight from the fridge to your bag without any mess.
4. Choose Refillable Cleaning and Personal Care Products
Many cleaning supplies and toiletries come packaged in single-use plastic that ends up in the trash after a few weeks. To cut down on this waste, look for brands that offer refillable options.
Concentrated cleaning tablets can be dissolved in water, letting you reuse the same spray bottles again and again. Some stores have refill stations where you can top up dish soap, laundry detergent, and other household essentials.
Personal care is another area where you can adopt a reusable mindset. Shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and refillable deodorant containers eliminate disposable packaging and often last longer, too.
5. Bring Your Own Utensils and Straws
Grabbing takeout or eating on the go doesn’t have to mean using disposable cutlery and straws. Packing your own set of reusable utensils is an easy habit to pick up.
Compact travel sets typically include a fork, spoon, knife, and chopsticks, all in a convenient case that fits in your bag. Pair them with a reusable straw made from stainless steel, glass, or silicone, and you’ll avoid dozens of single-use items each month.
It might feel odd at first, but once you get used to carrying your own utensils, you’ll wonder why you ever relied on plastic cutlery.
6. Make Reusable Choices in Your Closet
Fast fashion contributes massively to pollution and textile waste. Instead of constantly buying cheap clothes that wear out quickly, focus on durable, versatile pieces you can wear for years.
Choosing higher-quality garments reduces waste and often saves you money in the long run. You can also embrace second-hand shopping, clothing swaps, or rental services for special occasions.
When it comes to laundry, reusable dryer balls are a great way to reduce waste and energy use. They naturally soften fabric and cut down on drying time, eliminating the need for disposable dryer sheets.
7. Rethink Gifting and Entertaining
Celebrations and gatherings are notorious for generating extra waste. With a little planning, you can keep your next event both festive and sustainable.
Try wrapping gifts in reusable fabric bags or scarves instead of disposable paper. Set your table with real dishes, glasses, and cloth napkins instead of plastic or paper versions.
If you host often, consider investing in sturdy reusable serving ware that you can bring out for birthdays, holidays, and any get-together in between. These small choices add up over time and set a positive example for your guests.
Why Reusable Products Matter
Embracing a lifestyle centered around reusable products is about more than just cutting down on trash. It’s also about:
Reducing your carbon footprint: Manufacturing single-use plastics requires significant resources and energy.
Saving money over time: While some reusable items cost more upfront, they pay for themselves after a few uses.
Creating healthier habits: Many disposable products contain chemicals that can leach into your food or skin.
Inspiring others: When friends and family see your commitment to reusable living, they often feel motivated to try it themselves.
Final Thoughts
Living a more sustainable life doesn’t have to mean doing everything perfectly. Even small changes—like switching to reusable bags, water bottles, and wraps—can have a big impact over time.
The next time you’re about to throw something away, take a moment to ask: Is there a reusable option I could try instead? Little by little, these choices build habits that benefit you, your community, and the planet.
Start with one area that feels manageable, and celebrate your progress as you go. You might be surprised at how natural it becomes to choose reusable solutions once you see how simple—and rewarding—it can be.

Essential Camping Tableware: Enjoying Meals in the Great Outdoors
Essential Camping Tableware: Enjoying Meals in the Great Outdoors Camping tableware is a significant component of outdoor dining, as it combines practicality with functionality to make meals enjoyable even when one is far away from home. No matter whether you are hiking across difficult terrain or having a family camping trip in a peaceful forest, having the best tableware can transform your experience.Get more news about Camping tableware, you can vist our website!
Choosing the Right Camping Tableware Choosing camping utensils involves thinking about their durability, convenience and weight. A common choice for many people are lightweight materials such as titanium, stainless steel or BPA-free plastics due to their ability to stand up against usage by campers.
Types of Camping Tableware
a. Plates and Bowls: Many camping plates and bowls are designed to be lightweight and stackable, making storage easier on your back or in your camping equipment. Look for options that can be easily cleaned and that will not easily break while using them outdoors.
b. Utensils: Compact multi-purpose utensils have become very important for any camper. These consist of fork, knife and spoon sets which are commonly made of stainless steel or other tough plastic materials. The better ones even have a combination opener like bottle opener or tin opener which makes them more convenient overall.
c. Cups and Mugs: Insulated cups/mugs keep beverages hot/cold depending on weather conditions. If you want to prevent spillage around the campfire or during hikes then go for those with handles/grips.
d. Cookware: However, cookware does not include strictly tablewear like dishes but pots pans together with cooking tools are important when you want to prepare meals at the campground– N/B non-stick lightweights wares also function well in this case
Eco-Friendly Options
Eco-friendly versions abound for environmentally-conscious campers wishing to dispose off traditional camping tableware. Biodegradable plates, bowls and utensils made of such materials as bamboo or cornstarch proffer a sustainable solution without any compromise on their uses.
Organization and Storage
Meal preparation and cleanup can be enhanced through organizing and storing camping tableware efficiently. For instance nesting bowls and collapsible containers offer space-saving advantages that will help you make the most out of your camping gear.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Camping tableware should always be kept clean as well as maintained if they are to last for long and promote good hygiene during outdoor activities. Most camping tableware pieces can be washed through dishwashing machines while others can simply be rinsed under hot water mixed with mild detergent hence convenient while in remote locations.
Investing in quality camping tableware from trusted brands ensures that you can enjoy delicious meals while camping without sacrificing comfort or convenience. Right cutlery improves the fun of your other activities in nature as it helps you keep a perfect focus on this organic world being built by memories around campfire either as a weekend retreat or an extended journey far away.

Case Study: Transforming Food Service Efficiency with Modern Cutlery Solutions

In the fast-paced world of food service, efficiency is key to success. At Sanz Pte Ltd & Biogreen, located in Singapore, we recently had the opportunity to partner with a local restaurant chain seeking to enhance their operational efficiency through modern cutlery solutions. This case study explores how our innovative cutlery dispensers transformed their service delivery.
The Challenge
The restaurant chain was facing several challenges related to cutlery management. Their existing system was inefficient, leading to delays during peak hours. Staff often spent too much time searching for utensils, which impacted overall customer satisfaction. The management recognized the need for a solution that would streamline their processes and enhance the dining experience.
Implementing Cutlery Dispensers
After a thorough assessment, we recommended a mix of disposable cutlery dispensers for high-turnover locations and stainless steel cutlery dispensers for more upscale settings. This dual approach allowed the restaurant to balance convenience with sustainability.
Hygiene and Efficiency: The disposable cutlery dispensers provided single-use utensils, ensuring high hygiene standards during busy service times. Staff could quickly dispense utensils without the worry of contamination.
Durability and Aesthetics: The stainless steel dispensers added a sleek, modern look to the dining environment while being durable and easy to clean. This not only improved functionality but also enhanced the restaurant's overall aesthetic appeal.
Results
The results were impressive. Within weeks of implementing the modern cutlery solutions, the restaurant experienced a noticeable increase in efficiency. The time staff spent managing cutlery decreased significantly, allowing them to focus on providing excellent customer service.
Customer feedback also reflected the positive changes. Diners appreciated the convenience of having utensils readily available without long waits. The restaurant chain reported a 20% increase in customer satisfaction scores, directly linked to the improved dining experience.
Conclusion
This case study illustrates the profound impact that modern cutlery solutions can have on food service efficiency. By partnering with Sanz Pte Ltd & Biogreen, the restaurant chain not only improved operational workflows but also enhanced customer satisfaction and dining experience.
For businesses looking to transform their food service efficiency, investing in the right cutlery dispensers can make all the difference.
