vlad: well he's psychic he could figure out the truth if he actually cared. and he has!

diego: does not think jacques did it but enjoys the tabloids. knows other rich people personally who he thinks have killed their spouses

morgyn: will post things like "friendly reminder that j*cques v*llareal literally killed his wife and is a billionaire so maybe don't go to one of their hotels" on tumblr and will then do a call out post about like a fanfic writer who wrote an unhealthy relationship with more severity

pascal: knows conspiracy theories and this one is bullshit. or maybe it just doesn't interest him as much as aliens and that's why he thinks that

jeb: has a very "well of course he did. them rich folk can do whatever they want. there ain't no hope for the rest of us" while kicking a can down the road approach

The library was supposed to be abandoned. Ophelia knew this because it was right across the road from the Meetinghouse, and she’d seen its boarded-up windows hundreds of times before. But now, as she stood outside looking up at the faded red brick building, she swore she could see some light coming from between the cracks in the boards. She was immediately on edge. Was it Olive?

Ophelia looked over her shoulder at the Meetinghouse she called home for the past two years, wondering if she should just leave and return to her comfortable estate. Then she turned back to the old library. Her aunt was conjuring up more paranoia inside of her than usual…which was saying a lot. She didn’t like it; she was sick of letting that woman have so much control over her life. So she decided to face her fears and go inside anyway.

The bottom floor was nearly empty. Just a few rickety bookshelves decorated with cobwebs and dust bunnies. What Ophelia was really looking for—Strangetown’s old residential records—was located upstairs.

She crept up the steps, pausing every few seconds to listen for signs of life other than her own, but she could only hear the incessant chirping of crickets from outside. When she reached the top, the room was dark except for the bit of moonlight peeking through the wooden panes nailed to each window, and a few weakly flickering candles. Someone must've been here recently, but the room was empty now. She noticed a dusty lamp sitting on a desk, so she pulled its chain to turn it on.

The parody

His name was Johnny Zest, born John Landgraab, but that wasn’t a name he used anymore. His family disowned him years ago after he skipped out of school. Johnny wasn’t academical, at all, he was the class clown, and boy did he make them laugh.

Johnny was funny, and he was good at it, so he wanted to work on that instead. He wanted to be a comedian. And that is what he eventually became, much to his family’s disapproval. Not anything big, but enough to make ends meet, and usually just at the local comedy club. One thing he was particularly good at was parodies. Given a little time, he could change his voice quite convincingly. People were amazed with his parodies. He nailed it, they told him.

After a show one evening, a guy approached him by the scene after his performance, as the next set was being set up.

“Great show, dude” he said with a big smile. Johnny thanked him for the compliment.

“Do you think you could make yourself sound like me?” the guy asked. “Well, I��ll need a little time to see how your face moves when you speak, and of course get to know your voice…” Johnny began to explain, but he was cut off before he could elaborate further.

“Heh, it would be great, if you could. I could put you on my channel, you'd get tons of attention." The guy kept talking, but Johnny was beginning to zone out.

Then it dawned on Johnny, who this guy was… He had to be some sort of influencer.

Johnny didn’t recognize him, the guy probably wouldn’t like the fact, that Johnny had no idea who he was. And this guy seemed to be the kind of person, who wanted to be recognized.

So Johnny just played along, after all, acting was what he was good at.

"Hey, let’s take a selfie together, I’ll post on my channel. Then maybe you can get me some free tickets for your next show. Then you can show your impression of me." It wasn't until the guy had taken his selfie and shown the uploaded result to him, that he actual figured out his name: Jackson Ready.

His meeting with Jackson had made him realize something, he wasn’t just good at parodies, he was great at it… Maybe it was time to put it to use…

He began studying Jackson’s posts intricately, trying to absorb as much knowledge about him as possible. Learning all about his hobbies, interests, and most importantly; his behaviour. He had to admit that Jackson was pretty generic, nothing really set him apart. He just filmed other people doing stuff, and then made it all about himself. Johnny couldn’t see any justification in this guy’s popularity, but he wasn’t going to complain, after all he was planning on using it.

He practiced extensively Jackson’s voice and behaviour. He also spent hours on makeup to make himself look just Jackson; they were quite similar, which made it easy, and Johnny wanted to be sure, that he nailed it. In the following weeks, he did everything to try and become just like Jackson, and he was getting more and more accustomed to it.

Thanks to a shady individual from Strangetown, Johnny had come into possession of the device, that was going to subdue Jackson and take him out of the picture. With that he was now all set to put his plan into motion. His last show on stage. The prelude to his greatest performance yet.

He sent a message to Jackson, of course with a free ticket attached, as well as asking him to meet him backstage after his performance.

Johnny managed to get through the show. Jackson was sitting front row… and Johnny had kept a good eye on him, this was going to be wild.

“Hey, dude, you were great tonight - freaking hilarious.”

“Thanks,” Johnny said, his pulse was rising, he knew his window of opportunity was small, and it will appear in just a moment. “So did you think you could make an impression of me?” “Yes, I have been practicing quite a bit.” Johnny said as he led Jackson to the backstage room. “Cool, we can do a couple of short recordings, then I can post in on my channel.” “Excellent, dude!” Johnny said imitating Jackson’s voice. Jackson was visibly surprised. “Woah! You sound just like me, but wait till I have started recording.”

“Oh okay…” Johnny said with his regular voice. Having hid a little tube device in his hand, Johnny anticipated the moment. Jackson was way to occupied looking at his phone screen, seemingly trying to get a good angle as well as light. But his inattention was just, what Johnny had waited for.

Johnny injected the tube into Jackson’s neck, Jackson yelped almost inaudibly, before he dropped his phone and collapsed on the floor.

Not wasting any time, Johnny quickly pulled off Jackson’s boots, socks, suit, watch, cap and underwear, stripping him completely naked. Jackson had a nice body, Johnny already knew that obviously, but seeing it in real life was something definitely more satisfying.

He went over to the mirror table pulling off his fake soul patch, without it his chin was as smoothly shaved as Jackson’s. He then grabbed the wig and quickly put it on. It looked pretty convincing, but Johnny was intending to dye his hair as soon as possible, so he wouldn’t have to rely on the wig. He put in the contact lenses, he knew Jackson used them too, so nobody would notice. Then he began to apply the makeup, he had prepared in advance. He knew exactly what to do to make the disguise flawless. He admired the result in the mirror, his Jackson face was spot on.

He began to undress and threw all his old clothes into his “prop box”, there were actually no props inside the box, the box itself was the prop, but as long as everybody thought it was filled with props Johnny could carry out his plan with little worry.

He stuffed all his old clothes into the box, then dragged it over to the unconscious Jackson.

He lifted him with surprisingly little effort, he wasn’t exactly sure, what that injection had done to him, but he quickly folded Jackson in half and placed him in box, then he shut it.

He then looked at the pile of clothes, that was all that remained of Jackson. He put on Jackson’s damp boxers, keeping his arousal in place. Then the t-shirt and socks, also damp, Johnny enjoyed how they smelled strongly of Jackson, he could get used to that scent.

Then he grabbed the weird suit Jackson had worn, Johnny wasn’t exactly sure, what kind of motor sport you’d wear it for… if any. But Jackson didn’t do motor sports, Johnny knew that much. Nevertheless he thoroughly enjoyed slipping into the suit, it was warm and slick on the inside, it creaked softly as it covered his body. His hand slid down the inside of Jackson's suit, he pulled a couple of times, his arousal was growing. He needed to remain focused, time was of the essence. He wiped his hand off on the leg of the suit. There would be plenty of time for that later. He had to complete his transformation. He slipped on Jackson’s boots, they fitted perfectly. He slipped on his watch and finally he placed the cap on his head… backwards, just like Jackson had worn it.

He now looked just like Jackson did as he entered the backroom just a few minutes ago, nobody would be able to tell the difference, he looked at himself in the mirror, it was breathtaking.

He placed the box on its wheels and quickly left unseen via the back door. He retrieved Jackson’s car key from the inner pocket of the suit. He unlocked Jackson’s car and stuffed the box in the trunk.

Okay, so my name is Sandy. I come from not so far away, but not exactly Earth. I landed in a place called Strangetown. There, a good friend told me to go to Pleasantview, so this is where I live. Me and my cat Goofy.

Here we are. You can't really see him, huh? I need to get a better picture of him. He's the best kitty in the world. A small furry genius. He even has a job, can you believe that??

Anyway, me and Goofy live in Pleasantview. I just got a job as a Record Store Clerk. I hope someday this place will sell my music. Isn't that all that matters in life? The love of your cat, good music and fun and... Oh, of course, friends!

This is me and my friend Brandi. We're blowing bubbles. Stars know she needs a distraction. Poor girl has it rough. I wonder if I can help her somehow, without offending. I'm still getting a hang of correct and courteous human interactions...

WHAT IS THIS?!

I'll tell you what this is. Complete burnout and lost interest in my favourite game led me to try something new. I have decided to install the premade neighborhoods Pleasantview, Strangetown and Veronaville for the first time in over a decade. I haven't tried this since I was a teen in the late 2000s.

You heard that right! A decade! I usually only build and design my own hoods in this game, never actually play with the sims themselves.

That is about to change!

Loading up the iconic premade sims for the first time was daunting, exciting, new and fun! And I've decided to share my experience with you.

First is this introductory post on the what, where and why. Later, I'll post a few images and most exciting of all:

I've recorded my gameplay of my first playthrough of the premade sims. It is a hot mess but hopefully fun to watch. There is no commentary, only the actual gameplay, as I'm not a native english speaker and I doubt anyone wants awful voiceover that ruin the entire video.

I use the prima guide recommendations in the first video of each family and follow the order below. Just to familiarize and relearn how to play.

Hi, I'm Yuri. I made this account during my ✨preteen cringe phase✨ and I didn't use it for much. It was forgotten for years, but a few months ago I got reminded of its existence. Still, I only used it to like post and occasionally comment. About a week and half ago I was like "I'mma make an Uberhood in The Sims 2". While researching how to do it, I found Pixu's account ( https://pixuou.tumblr.com/ultimatehood https://youtu.be/qIQ4lD_ynJI?si=o0JYn1pEDX9YBuC4 ) and got inspired to use Tumblr as a way to record my gameplay and stories I make about the little pixel people. For those who want to know me a little better, I'm a sleep-deprived biotechnology student from Poland. I'm a lesbian in 20s, who's often described as chaotic. Also, from time to time, I might post art since I like to draw. And I enabled the ask option, if anyone is interested in that. So back to the Hyperfixationhood- Uberhood... Basically, it's a way to play every The Sims 2 neighborhood on one savefile. The setup is fairly easy, you need to pick your main hood and then add other ones as subhoods. I'm playing with Pleasantview as my main hood with added Strangetown, Veronaville, Bluewater Village, Riverblossom Hills, Desiderata Valley, Belladonna Cove, and a custom Downtown ( https://katatty.tumblr.com/post/645638968277417984/im-delighted-to-present-at-last-my-fully-madeover I think it doesn't have any Sims, but adds extra space). I also added all 3 universities (Sim State University, Academie Le Tour, La Fiesta Tech), all 3 vacation destinations (Takemizu Village, Three Lakes, Twikkii Island), and all the Sims from the Stealth Hoods. I use the clean versions for each of those. That was the easy part. Because of the discovery of baby face templates ( https://youtu.be/MFhXpq8E8eQ?si=BWxl77sX-Rg5dmFC ), I decided I wanted my Sims to have genetic infant faces. Every hood had its "babyfied" version. ...Except Belladonna Cove and Desiderata Valley. But I found a tutorial by ivycopur on how to create Sims with baby face templates ( https://ivycopur.dreamwidth.org/439.html ), so I was like "I'mma do it myself". Honestly, it wasn't that hard, just took a lot of time. General gameplay information and rules:

- I'm playing rotationally with each family, but the order of the households varies.

* The very first round (Round 0) will last 2 days, and the rest of the rounds will last 6 days.

- I made myself a custom livespan and custom pregnancy duration, using this tutorial https://s2idownloads.blogspot.com/2016/10/new-tutorial-create-new-pregnancyspan.html?m=1

* Sim pregnancy lasts 36 h, and pet pregnancy lasts 12-24 h.

* 1 day = 6 months

Baby - 2 days (0 - 1 year)

Toddler - 10 days (1 - 6 years)

Child - 14 days (6 - 13 years)

Teen - 18 days (13 - 22 years)

Adult - 76 days (22 - 60 years)

Elder - 20- 40 days (70 - 80 years)

- I'm marking the starting year as 2004 since that's when the game was released. Plus it will be funny when I eventually get into the far future, but the technology won't change much.

- I'm helping myself in choosing my Sims aspirations, one true hobby, and job with the help of a calculator made by Marticore ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15qEDgAZI6Lk8IGKfRmemPYftl5n-mmjOt2CyA5e8dmY/edit?gid=1882396550#gid=1882396550 ). I use it for inspiration often.

- I'm using ACR to choose my Sims' sexuality when they become teenagers, but sometimes I pick it myself if I find it fitting (for example, I headcanon Beau Broke as a gay man when he grows up).

- I'm using several supernatural mods that change the mechanics of occult Sims, found in this video https://youtu.be/FcbEoMHxpo8?si=9hNBwhv9HjEiv6Zl , but I only picked some of them. The most notable ones I added to my game are Alien superpowers, children and teen Plantsims, toddler and child Vampires, child Werewolves, toddler and child Witches, and Fairies as a new occult.

* I have supernatural skins as custom skin tones ( https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=284759 ), and I will change Sim's genetics if they become occult (for example, a Plantsim will get a Plantsim skin in their DNA).

- I'm using The Traits Project mod, which adds The Sims 3 traits to The Sims 2 ( https://hexagonal-bipyramid.tumblr.com/traitsProject ), and the farmhand trait ( https://fireflowersims.tumblr.com/post/651840507529543680/the-3t2-traits-and-the-medieval-caste-expansion ).

* I will randomize Sim's traits, but if a Sim gives me a specific vibe, I will pick a trait myself.

* Toddlers get 2 traits, children get 3 traits, teenagers get 4 traits, and adults (and elders) get 5 traits.

* Each Sim will get at least one trait after mom and at least one trait after dad.

* I also have a chronic illness trait mod ( https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=673581 ). I will give it to my Sims if the pregnancy passes terribly, if the Death by Childbirth mod takes effect, or if it fits story-wise.

- I'm playing kind of half wants-based. I'm going to use the Sims' wants to help influence the story, but they won't be the main deciding factor. I don't want every Sim to turn out the same, and I do have some stories planned.

- Knowledge Sims always go to college, Sims with other aspirations go if they have a want at the end of the teen lifestage, or if it fits the story. The Capp family always goes to college. College is frozen time for those Sims, they don't age there.

- If more than half of the household has corresponding wants to get a pet, they will get one.

- I’m working on a spreadsheet that will help me track and control my gameplay. I tried not only to merge some of my headcanons but I stared as much as possible at their 3d avatars and ID cards

Curly (I'll be honest, I need more masculine CC to define his features but so far he looks good! I may try to find some more muscular clothing so it matches his face)

Anya (She is perfect, I've also used some Shelley Duval pictures for inspo. I may give a recolor to the hair tho, but I'm afraid to touch her, she is beautiful)

Daisuke (I know he is inspired from Ryosuke Kawashima, but I went for Hidekazu Chinen out of my love for Kamen Rider lol - I made him a Teen just for cute factor, besides I tweaked with the hair texture a bit so it matched more the original hair)

Jimmy (Personally, its my favorite one so far. He has tons of CC makeup to give him that look. I wasn't sure if to give him some scars since I think those are cool as well)

Swansea (I'll be honest with all of you, I couldn't find any hair that did him justice, this one was the closets thing I could find and I may have to go find some good maxis match textures for it. I tried doing a recolor but nope, it looked horrible. Yes, he is an Elder, otherwise I wouldn't have any CC that had said wrinkles. I'll try to make some dirty dark blonde textures for him and find some to define his nose better)

So with that said, I'm currently working on Daisuke's outfit since "privilege for being the youngest" lmao. I'm using more CC so again, I'll have to find out which belongs to who. I may remove my entire CC folder to also make Base Game versions (Which I personally think would match even more with the Canon 3d Models. I know, its not the best graphics but its a nice idea, right?) and I'll also try to use a Base Game version of their clothes with just the textures. And if everything works out and recorded, then I'll open up about the idea of making them for Download

Regarding their personalities, Aspirations and Interests. So far I only have their Aspirations and one true Hobbies (I cheat for these)

I know that the worst Aspiration in the game is, in fact Romance, as it is literally the one that really makes sims be douchebags, but I'm God here and I don't punish twice.... Yes, Jimmy got a combination of Pleasure + Fortune, as I believe the first one is a very selfish aspiration (Not as much as Romance) and Fortune since I believe these are so hard to keep in a good mood (At least for me), its annoying at times to play with these Sims (And if they are poor, they will likely go often on Aspiration Failure)

About where they are going to live. I don't know if I'll create a House version of The Tulpar, but the following Lots are very tempting as well:

And her features seemed less.. notable, I guess? Very "template one" he said. Still beautiful though, of course. In fact he says he fell deeply in love with her. Dear Diary,

Today I dropped by the house of the town harlot, which I found by spying on him when he was yelling at the Specters last night and following him back home. He kept turning around a lot as if he could hear me, but I don't think he spotted me so it's all good. Dirk insisted on coming with me, just in case he tried to do anything.

I was greeted by this blonde guy, and as much as I tried to make light conversation with him in hopes of convincing him to let me talk to the town harlot he declined. Due to this I decided to just linger near the graves of their parents for a couple of hours before the guy himself pulled up from work.

It took very little convincing to convince the town harlot to agree to the interview, but he still seemed wary. When I confronted him about it, he apologized and said that he didn't want to risk getting slandered again. I reassured him that I would not, and then he finally let me ask him questions.

Also, I learned his name! It's Pascal. I can finally call him something other than the town harlot!

I decided to start the interview by asking him some questions about his past in order to ease him into giving me info on the allegations. He used to be a scientist back in Strangetown before it got overtaken by Dr. Vu, and his youngest brother, Lazlo, supposedly died in a fire but the body was never found. Pascal said that he thinks Lazlo might still be alive, but that he and his other brother (the blonde guy) had no luck in finding him. Pascal also mentioned some stuff about his job as a nurse, but mentioned that he plans to quit because of Don harassing him.

This gave me the perfect opportunity to ask him about the "town harlot" allegations, and let's just say that choosing him was a great idea! Don apparently hit on HIM after Orpheus ghosted him, and then spread a rumor that Pascal tried to seduce him when he said no. And this was while Don was engaged to Cassandra, too! And then when I asked him about him supposedly trying to seduce Dad, he said he had no idea who Dad even was!

SECRETS UNLOCKED:

Orpheus ghosted his fiance of five years, Pascal, while he was seven months pregnant with their kid, because his mother, Olive Specter, did not approve of him.

Don claimed that Pascal hit on him after Pascal rejected his advances at work.

Daniel lied about Pascal hitting on him as well after Don made his initial claim, even though the two of them never met.

Mortimer got Pascal and Vidcund blacklisted from the science industry, while Mary Sue has been spreading the rumors that Don and Daniel helped build.

Once I got all the juicy details, Pascal told me that his brother was now working as a journalist and that in exchange for his interview, that I would have to let him interview me. When I asked why, he said it was because I was a Pleasant. Unsure what that's for but maybe he wants info on the life of the daughter of a failed politician or soccer coach who peaked in high school. Beats me. He said we could do it over the phone so that it would be easier to record, so I just thanked him and went home

Once I got home, Mom confronted me about going to the house of the "town harlot," so I confronted her about Cassandra. Apparently Dad overheard and he got super mad, and now they hate each other. Oopsy daisies. Angela's going to be so mad once she gets back from her date with Dustin, and Dirk seemed genuinely shocked about what he heard. I imagine he's going to tell Mr. Dreamer later and I look forward to seeing what shitshow comes out of that

Really need to figure out who tf snitched on me, though. Angela's out with Dustin and Dirk went home right after. Guessing it could've been the Specters or Alexander, considering he was playing in the yard with Mortimer when I passed by them. Either way, I've got to be more careful.
