hey nerds @ nytimes.com/athletic you guys wanna tell me when the last time us hockey WAS an underdog???? even in a canada-usa echo chamber, the usa has certainly not been an underdog in hockey this century holy shit lmao. 4 nations has turned the hockey populace into morons. can we maybe discuss swiss, german, slovak, or czech hockey being underdogs and catching up instead of writing stupid thinkpieces like this?

Okay since Zam has both said that she comes from a future season of lifesteal And that she ended up on the realm after the whole thing at Zaun (and she said in an alt stream that she wasn't sure wich direction she wanted to go in but anyways)
At one side, it's really cool to think about at PrinceZam who already experienced all the loses of s6 and had a peaceful end, and because of that she is now more sure of what she wants and decides she wants to save the world regardless of how pointless because she knows that's where her heart is at the end of the day
On the other side, imagine a PrinceZam who just experience a massive loss at Zaun, keeps walking alone until she ends up in the realm and meets Pili, meets this place where most people are chill and things are mostly peaceful, realizes she doesn't really wants this chill and peaceful world and that she misses home, then she manages to go back to Lifesteal after 97 days, one way or another, and that's why she's so determined to kill Flame at all costs but still wants to safe the world

the fact that bobby nash got one of the worst deaths imaginable really doesn’t sit right with me. after all that they decided to give one of the most beloved characters on the show an exit that was traumatic for literally every single character, one where he couldn’t say a proper goodbye, one where he experienced pure agony right until the end. he couldn’t say goodbye to his kids or the rest of the 118. he was afforded no physical comfort in the end. he died as a sacrificial lamb for his past mistakes which so often happens to characters with significant trauma in media (which i hate). when he told athena ‘this isn’t how i wanted to leave you’ i feel like that about summed it up. absolutely no dignity in his death besides saving chimney but even that is a decision that comes with fucked up consequences for chim himself which i feel like going forward is going to invalidate that sacrifice narratively.
