Zinnia: Very successful at STARTING a cult after years of ambitious heaven political moves, absolutely terrible at MAINTAINING one after years of lounging around on earth doing fuckall while burnt out. That's okay, he was tired of being a charismatic leader anyway.

Asphodel: Has read lots and lots of BOOKS on cults, but didn't consider how much actual Socializing and Charisma is involved in running one. They only ever get about two cult members, and both of those members are ALSO kind of shy, and they all prefer to keep this to like a once a week thing, so could they just meet on like Thursdays?

It takes them several months to realize they have just formed a book club that talks about books about cults specifically. However, they're still meeting once a week, so... success????

Amaranth: Scarily good at running a cult. Most likely to be found leading some kind of revolutionary faction, and god knows she's charismatic enough to pull people in. Nik: FAR too much of a shitstirrer to ever maintain a cult, but he still has enough charisma and pull to draw people towards him. He's most likely to pull in a group of catty gossips who backstab each other constantly (which he encourages with glee and delight so he can hear all of them viciously bitch about each other to him.) He does this until they inevitably all break up and stop talking to each other. This is like a hobby to him.

Ike: Way too shy to be a cult leader. He prefers to let Nik be the social butterfly while he gravitates towards the quieter, more low-key people. That being said, he does have a cult following as a musician, in the way that there are music snobs out there who INSIST that his two-hour industrial ambient noise set is, like, musically GENIUS, and you just don't Get It if you don't like it.

Kalli: She's an influencer in Hell, so it's BASICALLY the same thing. Her current hustle is getting Earth beauty products trending on Hell social media so she can then resell them at a markup to demons who don't have portal clearance. She's cultivated her persona online with such attention that anyone who attempts to talk badly about her QUICKLY gets swarmed by angry fans defending her in the replies. It's going pretty well for her, all told....

Calcine: One could argue that Calcine is a cult all to themselves, could they not? Anyhow, if they did start a cult, it would be impossible to know until one day you realized you're counting slightly more skull segments than you remember... how many did there used to be? Did the number go up????

chuuya is going ALL OUT you already know!!! they are going to be planning for weeks beforehand, deciding which restaurant to take kunikida too and what to get him as a gift and what to wear and what else they'll do while they're out etc etc and kunikida mostly just lets chuuya do all of that bc he knows they enjoy it, but he does get chuuya flowers and some other small gift, and he makes them breakfast. also they both force the other to take the day off so they can spend the morning relaxing and then go out somewhere in the afternoon/evening

either the most obnoxious over-the-top declarations of love complete with horrible innuendos that they will read out to the entire office OR if it's just kept between them, it's short little notes scribbled on pieces of scrap paper that they exchange during the world day. most of the time, it's written in some sort of code so no one would have any idea what they're talking about even if they did read them. there are still terrible innuendos.

if they're being silly, they are going to be competing against each other to one-up the other with the most extravagant surprises and forcing everyone from the agency (and also chuuya) to help them pull it off. just to be annoying. the night ends with like,, fireworks that spell out "dazai + ranpo 4ever" or something. both of them considered proposing just because that would be the ultimate way to Win their unspoken competition, but they both chickened out bc uhhh that's taking the joke a little bit too far maybe,, what do you mean they're both terrified of long term commitment so it's easier to just keep saying this is fake when it's kind of clearly not? lol ! but if they're being serious, i think they don't.. really do much at all. they might go out somewhere to eat or they might just order food and stay home. they probably get each other small gifts but it's kind of.. hard for them to even want to celebrate (especially at the beginning) bc the passage of time is. not something dazai likes to acknowledge. so he'd prefer to treat it like any other normal day and ranpo can understand that bc getting older is scary!! what do you mean they've been dating for a year!! ranpo kind of didn't expect they'd last longer than three months bc dazai loves running away from things!! is this a celebration of how far they've come or a reminder that they're getting closer and closer to the inevitable end!!

6. Hrm, he misses a lot from his old life. But he's almost proud of what he accomplished, in a way, and though he has now killed people he regrets the actual death. He still thinks it was largely his beast that caused his most brutal murder and so doesn't attribute that to him. I guess in a way he misses not having a beast... but no i don't think he mourns it in that way.

This is so so stupid but I got very happy when I read in your strawpage you are from 2003 too, I've lurking around seeing your art ever since DOL caught my eye and you're one of my favourite artists so having that bit in common is cool! I also love your DOL designs, especially Kylar's and Whitney's but the fave gotta be your PC she's so pretty! Seeing your fanarts keeps tempting me into posting dol art of my own so if I ever draw dol I'll draw our wet cat (Kylar) together >:)

Also if you haven't played Fields of Mistria or Homicipher I definitely recommend them! The first one is similar to Stardew Valley in the sense you're a farmer, you can decorate your house and romance any of the bachelors/bachelorettes but this one is more fantasy-like and the artstyle reminds me of 80s anime and Sailor Moon. The second came out recently and I haven't played it yet but I saw the trailer and some fanarts; you wake up in a terrifying unknown world where you have to survive and the romance options are very creepy men, one of the appeals of this one is trying to learn the world's language, it looks fun

The Stampede

Amidst the sea of stars roam memories. Remnants of living and dead gods, lost in the endless wash of nothing. Passing by great suns, grazing the memories of the inhabitants of the universe. One of the most formidable shards of a shattered divinity is The Bulls.

Named for their resemblance to the common livestock from humanoid’s home planet. Yet, much of the universe understands the sentiment, as even in the absence of anything for breath in the void there are cracks between mighty hooves. The will of their now gone creator leaving them with the material to plow through what is and what is not. That which does not exist is theirs to barrel over all the same.

With shimmering white coats that dazzle like the stars around them, from the surface of planets they may look like a swarm of comets tearing across the sky. When they leave those untouched they are naught but a wonder. A monolith on the will of what thinks beyond even in the eternity of death. Though those who’ve felt when the marble hooves grazed their home worlds, know no such beauty. The fabric of their reality torn for but a moment, as the very atmosphere splits, driving all through molten core. Leaving planetoids split and bleeding.

There are solemn wastes in different corners of the grand sea. Decimated spaces of heavenly bodies, left shattered by the thundering steps of the vast herd. It’s been millennia since the godly relics have been seen, the only proof of their continued destruction are the cracks heard across the stars. The waves defiling the silence of the vacuum.
