Kenny: a talkative pirate who joined Daimhín's crew and ran into Silent Jack at a tavern.

This is the tale of how Jack became known as Silent Jack and met Kenny leading up to him becoming the pirate we know and love…it also gives a peek into how they view their pirate king and his little captain.

Arriving at the port of Faélánd he was excited to show Jack around, he wanted him to see the top of the main temple of the shaman's didn't object. He had written ahead for permission but he knew he wouldn't get the answer until they got there.

Morana had vouched that Jack wouldn't ruin the vibes. Although he didn't fully understand all of that mumbo jumbo, he respected that it was their temple and would always request a visit. He knew it was sacred to them as it had once been a gods shrine.

Kenny laughed and said, “Well that's the fun of being on a ship you know everyone just a little too well to get along with them perfectly”—Jack decided that it was time to mute Kenny for a bit so he pulled him down a couple inches into a kiss — “Where was I?”  He leaned against his side lightly and was tempted to chuckle at the fact Kenny hadn't picked up the clue, although he didn't really mind. The chattering was nice as he listened to Kenny's almost musical voice, not particularly paying attention to the words as he thought about the events of the day and how they might affect the future.

Day 27: Family Portrait

Can you believe it??? I made the prison brothers into children and designed them parents for Bobovember (With the help of @tricknickus for the design of the mom)

I don’t wanna make this a ramble post about what development I made for the parents but I’ll write info about this drawing (and just TPMB family branch and headcanon stuff, warning: it’s long) under the cut! Besides that I hope the drawing is good `v`”

Where do I begin? How about the time this photo would’ve been taken if it was real: Here, Megafan is around 11-12, Beep is 9-10 and Haou is 17-18 (Going by my headcanon where B(eep) is 2 years younger than M(egafan) and H(aou) is 6 years older). Yes I do imagine that Haou had long curly hair in the past-

Their parents were probably in their 30s? Not sure. But they’re very undeveloped characters for now, I still didn’t think of a name for them. The mom is of B and M, and the dad adopted H before meeting the mom and dating her. They are very good parents and they go together like puzzle pieces because the mom is a Hajikelist and the dad is a Tsukkomi/Straight-man.

This isn’t related to the drawing anymore but I just feel like saying it: B and M got along perfectly as brothers ever since day 0, meanwhile H always felt very distant since he was 1. Adopted and he knew it, 2. Not even a real brother to B and M, and 3. A completely different fucking species, so he wouldn’t spend much time with his brothers since he didn’t feel like he fit in. However, B and M always tried very hard to mix H into their games and all since they really wanted to get along with him! And they looked at him like a real older brother

H has spent more time with them after a few years of being in the family, but still feels like he doesn’t fit in, so that’s why most of the time he lets B and M do everything in battles and only steps in when necessary (Y’all know how he barely did shit until the end in the TPMB battle and went to that tournament near the end of the series alone? Kinda ties in to that)

Anyways, I hope my long as hell rambling about the past of the brothers was a good read! My mind loves to think up headcanons about their past and now was finally my time to let it all out and you don’t know how good that feels

Kenny said, “Silent Jack..has a nice ring to it don't you think?” He frowned as he was not used to people inquiring for his thoughts on matters, before getting frustrated he couldn't answer. He shrugged and went back to frying the bread in the pork fat.  Kenny said, “Well how about I tell ye a tale of the crew..”  Smiling softly at the fact Kenny seemed fond of talking, it was nice in a way since people didn't tend to talk to him often anymore, beyond giving him orders due to the fact he couldn't respond. Sometimes it would be so quiet that he worried his hearing had gone, he had frequent nightmares about it. He no longer liked the silence, especially if there was no other noise around as it made him worried that he had gone deaf as well as mute.

Two days later he wondered how long the pirates were going to stick around. He was surprised it had been this long as most crews didn't stay long in their port before finding trouble. He didn't see anything particularly alarming about the ones he had seen.

The deer skull folk were nice, now when the blood drenched fish sign of the Bloodymacrals showed then everyone hid and businesses shut—no one dared to leave their buildings.

The insignia that the pirates had chosen a warning of its own. The bloody macral was a cannibalistic, bottom feeder of the sea that would eat anything—it was a fitting insignia for the pirates in question. Cutthroat was rather cut-throat.
