UHMMMMMMMMMMM

For TWSTxDAL, I have a feeling of starting over from the beginning - from Heartslaybul to Pomefiore (since I’m constantly moving from one person to another). 

I expected to just do the Dorm Leaders...but this kind of went to vice leaders...and then the members... ( ¯\_༼ ಥ ‿ ಥ ༽_/¯). 

I’m planning of completing just the dorm leaders, then that comic trailer (as a celebration of completion) and then ACTUALLY starting the plot from there! But what do you guys think?

In terms of TWSTxDAL content, there’s a lot more going forward - so it’s going to be a while before I finish this kind of content.

I see what you mean though! I will absolutely post the full outfits/full design once I get everybody OR once I’m done with Scarabia!(depends on how good my schedule is though)

Also, I’m a little confused though - do you mean the full designs of all leaders, or full designs of all dorms?

Yeah, not gonna lie MC is in some serious pain. That’s what happens when humans interact with Spirits for too long (lol)!

I admit, Rook certainly does NOT seem trustworthy at first glance. But since Rook had to fulfill the deed first, I’m gonna trust in the fact that he’ll do use it for good...hopefully.

But just to be clear...he isn’t your enemy, but he certainly isn’t your ally, and he’s not in between :).

Hello everyone! Here are some updates that will be coming for this week (and maybe likely the rest of the year) in terms of the music that will be coming out!

Ones I have completed/finished working on:

Pomefiore’s Remaining Teaser Tracks (cause why not): TWO upcoming tracks - 1 Main + 1 Minor Tracks!

Octavinelle OST (I’m sorry for being an Octa -> Azul simp): ONE (maybe two) upcoming tracks - 1 Minor Track!

TWSTxDAL ED: This track will be played at the end of each arc (maybe)! 

I’m currently working on the OP but the percussion is baaaaaaaaaaaaad- 

Ones I am hoping to work on: 

Savanclaw OST: I wanna do it so bad after I did Octa’s minor track! I think it would be a definite plus to this random blog!

𝕰pel felt as if he was catching a fever. 

Vil meticulously inspected Epel, before sighing in defeat. The blonde held his oily face into his hands - the pressure of the spotlight was eating him whole.

The trio (or internationally known as "The Aphrodities") was constantly spotlighted after their grand debut. At first, Vil was thrilled - the whole world finally recognizing the efforts he made. Their spiking popularity gained them opportunities such as live interviews, speaking to admiring fans, and most of all - sharing their uplifting stories.

But then it all became too much. 

They became bombarded with sickly fan mails, excruciating world tours, and constant footprints of paparazzi clinging unto their new doorstep. Sleep became a nuisance, forcing the trio to output content for their viewers to devour like wolves.

It wasn't until Epel dropped to the floor during one of their live interviews that Vil started to grasp the gravity of the situation. 

For once, Vil wanted to go back to a life of freedom - even if they were neglected like orphans.

Rook sat at Epel's wooden table, skimming through Epel's letters in boredom. His maimed hands opened one of the heart-shaped letters, his face clouded with solemnity. The letters were getting to him. He slowly crushed it, suffocating its contents before throwing it into the garbage.

The blonde grabbed a wooden chair from Epel's bedroom, sitting next to the glowing idol. Vil placed a silky rag, the cloth icy to the touch. He could feel the ice evaporating thanks to Epel's high temperature. Maimed hands traveled down to Epel's smooth hand, before leaving a lingering kiss.

"See you soon, Monsieur Crabapple."’

An echoing void. A void filled with his own screams.

That's what the lilac thought as he entered here.

Epel couldn't pinpoint where he was, but he knew that he needed to find a way out.

He woke up groggily, turning back and forth to find any resemblance of the world he'd known before. Rather his small, petite form was surrounded by an assortment of red apples and polished mirrors. Each mirror was distinct and varied in shape and size, distorting the unfamiliar being before them.

Each of them was smashed, shattered, and destroyed upon impact. Some had multiple to no specks of dust, while some had a fog of smoke engulfing the mirror within. What was inside of them - the male couldn’t guess - but there was one mirror that stood out amongst the others.

A lavender oval-like mirror caught his vision, its contour decorated with rotted vines and golden apples. Inside, laid an endless but familiar darkness, with a vaguely nostalgic feeling.

Within seconds, a dark purple poison apple appeared. Epel furrowed his eyebrows, fixated. He pressed his hand forward, eager to satiate his curiosity. 

Suddenly, a crack echoed into the air.

“Ah...S-Shoot!” 

The lilac felt himself pricking his ankle, picking up the mirror in front of him.

Immediately, he stood as still as a statue.

Epel had Vil's appearance, resembling characteristics of his Astral Form. His hair was well-combed and his skin was fair-toned, and beautiful, intricate details flowing from his chest to his shoulders.

However no crown, no halo was placed above his head. Golden robes and lavender crystals covered his arms instead.

"Why am I like...? What? W-What's going on...!" He turned his head back and forth, trying to look for an answer through the mirror.

As if they heard his plea, a shadowy figure encapsulated the space inside the mirror. Only violet eyes were radiated through the mirror, glaring.

Epel threw the looking glass away in horror, exhaling hitched breaths. His hands practically trembled in fear, his eyes widening in shock. He started crying, afraid...

Afraid that he would never be himself...

Afraid that he would become like him...

Afraid of becoming like Vil.

"SMASH!!!"

A black hand broke through the mirror, dyed in its own blood.

"There you are, Epel..." The voice pursued. "...come with me. We have a lot of things to catch up on..."

Before the lilac, laid a grotesque figure covered in darkness. Its movements were sporadic, filled with bloodied glass shards. There were only those scornful eyes, and no nose, no mouth could be seen. The figure was slightly hunched, trapped in its own garments. It was as if the clothing was suffocating it from the inside out.

A crown made with glass sank through its skin. Finally, a bloody halo rotated around him, causing the figure to groan and grunt in pain.

"No! I don't want to come with you!"

"You will...you want to keep this life, don't you? S-Stop being so un-grate-grateful..."

"I'm not! Every single time you tell me that I am, but don't you feel the same way!?!"

Epel threw mirrors, apples, anything to prevent the being from coming any closer.

"E-Epel...please..."

"I've had enough, Vil! I'm tired of acting like you!"

Epel screamed, letting his raw emotions out.

"I don't WANT to become like you!"

The figure retracted.

Within seconds, it lunged over the male's figure. Its sharp fingernails clutched Epel's face, sinking it into his jaw.

"Then you will learn to become like me...for our sake."

Darkness overtook his vision.

◉ <Caera, Eudoxia - The Aphrodites' Villa, Epel's Room> ◉

Light blue eyes shone in the twinkling moonlight. The lilac took deep breaths, trying to recuperate from the nightmare he was in.

"Ah, Monsieur Crabapple!" Rook clasped his hands together, beaming with joy. "Welcome back!~"

Epel shook his head. A loving smile planted on his face.

"I told you to stop calling me that..." He murmured. "Where's Vil-..."

...No response came.

The petite male glanced at the freshly-picked roses and the enormous, fluffy teddy bear beside him. He must've squeezed on it by accident when he woke up.

"...Oh."

In a flash, Epel slammed the teddy bear and the roses onto the wall, spreading the dark red petals onto the ground.

The male growled, curling under the sheets. He clutched the fabric tightly, sighing in defeat.

He really needed to go back to bed.

Hyacinthus Art Process! (Part One)

ART PROCESS BELOW!!! (forgive me if I’m salty, I was looking for the link for Step One for almost HALF AN HOUR)

Also end and forgive me I made the bunning Hyacinthus PURPLE. Luckily I change it but S T I L L I’m ANGRY ABOUT IT

Step One - Rough Draft

Okay! So I started this album around October 20th, 2020 on a Tuesday (lol).

When I was thinking of the song (while doing the covers of the last two), I really wanted to show that power and desperateness of Jamil (and how he indulges and relishes in it). I remembering see this pose by yama_kome and I really liked how they represented Jamil’s overblot. 

Ever since I saw this incredible piece of art, I wanted it to be done in this kind of way. Now, since I’m releasing covers of Scarabia (Mystique and Cardenalia), I decided to do it this time for his overblot. 

Besides, I wanted to change things up a little bit!

This took me a while to get (almost a day I believe?), but when there’s a will - there’s way. 

Just to let you know: I was originally going to name the song Hyacinth but if you say all the Scarabia Trilogy’s Tracks in order - it wouldn’t sound right. So that’s why I changed it to Hyacinthus. 

Secondly, I feel like if you say a flower’s scientific name than its common name - it gives that effect of a beginning, of a source and of an origin. I feel like the Overblots are a representation of their true feelings and emotions (in this case, Twisted Wonderland) so that’s partly the reason why I changed it as well.

Step Two - Rough Lineart

This dang lineart took me till Thursday, October 22nd. Here’s why.

1. I COULDN’T WING IT THIS TIME - there was a lot going through my head as well as references about what I wanted him to wear. Other ideas popped into my head such as, “Should I add some blot there?” or “What should I do for the shirt?”. 

So many ideas, but few were added.

2. The DESIGNS. - So many interpretations and stuff were everywhere, and they all looked good. But the problem was the amount of time to put such beautiful details. That killed me.

To sum up one and two, my brain for ideas went brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-

Steps of Lineart (at the top of my head - yes. I don’t write this in the time I’m doing it because it slows me down lol):

1. Face (was done already) - more specifically the side profile to the neck

2. Nose Piercing (yE-)

3. Mouth Piercing (hOt-)

*4. Braided Hair (*dies*)

*5. Veil on Face (then the pattern waaaaaay after)

*6. Dazzling-Jewelry-Neck  (more sure about doing the neck first, but #6 and #7 can be interchangeable)

*7. Snakes (only the right of the art piece though/snakes nearest to braids or plaits)

8. Upper Body

9. Robes 

*10. Chest

11. Shoulders

12. Right Hand - Fingers

13. Right Hand - Fingernails

14. Right Hand - Palm

15. Left Hand - Fingers

16. Left Hand - Fingernails

17. Veil on Body

18. Ear (YUP, I FORGOT THE BUNNING EAR-)

*19. Snakes (left of Jamil and his beautiful hair strand)

20. Right Earring

21. Left Earring

22. Thing on his head (nope, don’t know the name and I ain’t bothering)

*For numbers 4, 5, 6,7,10, 17 and 19 in particular, I had to do multiple layers to make the detail. I would say:

#4 - Two layers: One for the plaits and one for the line...thingy...

#5 - Six layers: It’s technically two, but I had made multiple to get the pattern I wanted. Sadly, I didn’t achieve it so I decided to stick with the one above.

#6 - Six layers: THE FULL DANG TRUTH. The diamonds were first (1), then the line separating the pearl and diamonds (2), Later the designs of the pearls + rectangular thingies (3), The triangle into multiple triangle thingies were next (4), Soon after was the circles into multiple circles  + Two triangles overlapping each other (5) and then that last bit at the end of the neck (6). 

There’s actually more due to the designs of the diamonds and pearls, but I’m not going that far into memory lane.

#7 - Eight layers: If you count them, that’s how much layers I had to go through.

#10 - Four layers (without counting the two (or three) patterns that you see up there): That darn pattern (1), Them s p i k e s (2), That thing it’s being held up in (3), that pattern near the spiky pattern (4).

#17 - Four layers: Just count, please. Going up and down with my eyeballs is killing me.

#19 - Seven layers: Not as bad (because it’s pretty small), but whatever. (1 - 3) First three ear piercings you see (you may see two though), that tail, long thingy (4) that crap Bubbles wear...them circles (5 & 6), and that diamond. (hehe cATER DIAMOND)

Step Two and a Half: Cleanup WITHOUT the Background 

Ah. The nostalgia. That feeling when you forgot the flower you were supposed to be working on...

Words, text and speech can not even compare to the feeling I had when I rEALiZED, I foRGOT the BUNNING FLOWER-

Step Three: COMPLETE Cleanup

Perfection. Isn’t that nice?

Step Four: Coloring 

October 22nd, 2020 at 11:03 AM...

Immediately when I thought of Jamil I immediately wanted to give him that w h i t e s c h e m e 

The reason why I wanted to was because he hard more darker colors in his normal design, and besides - his power has something related to the meaning of white ;). Anyways, I made sure that the ivory (celestial?) theme continued to flow through the whole art piece. Basically, making this smol boy a goddess-

Also, I was thinking that this Overblot scheme would be his true form or something, but he kept it locked away maybe due to how much it takes up his health. Consider this idea though as 100% “Not-Fully-Developed-But-Getting-There” Idea.

I really wanted them snakes to be white. Sorry not sorry. 

Plus, I wanted that veil black instead of white, but I was way too into it to ever think of that apparently. In particular, them f i n g e r n a i l s. I absolutely wanted Jamil to have that light peach color and all that so I did it! Makes my heart go UwU-

This interactive storytelling will involve the acts of Date A Live, and possibly events of Twisted Wonderland. 

At the moment, I’m thinking is that this “storyline” will be comic based and involve the soundtracks released here on Tumblr! Each will go in the order of Twisted Wonderland - Heartslaybul, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle...

Also, I’m thinking that there will be TWSTxDAL content before and after the release. But again, this is a loose and basic idea. I have to plan it out-

Maybe, there will be animation trailers but we’ll wait and see about that.

TWSTxDAL Plot: Continuation!

Note #1: This is only a snippet of the plot. Take this story with a grain of salt, as it may not produced in the final writing draft. 

Also, this part is small because it contains a ton of spoilers. Apologies!

Note #2: petits guppys = petite guppies

The earth shook, rocks levitating into the sky.

A gust of air ran through the crowd, leaving them screaming and helpless.

Your ears stung as alarms blazed through your eardrums, alerting you of the imminent danger in front of you.

A spacialquake.

Rook held on to your figure, his smile dropping instantly into a frown. He held his hat, focusing on the dark aura emanating before them. His emerald eyes glowed, filled with determination and intrigue.

He finally settled you down, giving you a knowing look.

“Stay here. Make sure you call our petits guppys.” 

“What about you?”

“I’ll handle the crowd for now. After all, we don’t want the audience knowing our secret, right?” He smirked, giving you a wink.
