I found out about Maple Taffy Cookie's existance...

Oh well! Here are my headcanons

Maple Taffy Cookie is Maple Sugar Cookie's long lost older brother. He left Maple Town when she was a toddler.

His ambition to find rare and unique relics from foreign lands pushed him to abandon his title as new lord and leave his hometown with uncertainity of returning. Maple Sugar would take his place once she would turn 18.

He doesn't talk much to the TBD about his past and his family. Nonetheless, he still loves them.

When he was young, he would go to the city's antique shops to scavenge for trinkets that would tickle his fancy. He had shelves filled with rare vintage objects in his room (they're still on these shelves, recollecting dust).

Maple Sugar was denied access to Maple Taffy's room as a child, but Rich Syrup and Glazed Bun would say yes to her going in when she got to an age when she wouldn't recklessly throw things around and break them. Since her early teenage years, she would come into Maple Taffy's room twice a month and clean the dust and spider webs off (a lovely thought for a room that might be never be used again).

Rich Syrup and Glazed Bun don't bring up Maple Taffy often, almost as he became a ghost to them. But they still feel bad that Maple Sugar never got to know him very much. How close they would've got together...

Maple Taffy and Maple Sugar's Grandma was upset that her oldest granchild left, and couldn't ask nothing more from her youngest to stay by her for the last years of her life.

Maple Syrup Cookie did not even know he had 2 great-great-grandchildren since he spent the last decades after the dark flour war in a lost cabin in the Vermilion Forest.

i love taffy and lisa’s relationship so much. taffy always made sure she was included and loved. lisa even after killing/ helping kill all those people she couldn’t let creature kill taffy too, even though taffy had emotionally hurt lisa. lisa protected her with NO hesitation.

Tbhhh, I’m really not sure! With the SU fandom it’ll be very hard to get fully back into it cause I dont usually hyperfixate on smth twice, but I’ll get random moments of interest here and there. As for Rare au, there’s a very small chance

I definitely did too much with Rare AU that makes it kinda hard to pick up currently (I never wrote a solid plot line😭) But I do also miss Taffy’s story and I would like to wrap up what I have so it’s not a cliffhanger anymore

2024 Reading Review

The image quality decided to give up on life but there's nothing to do about that. Do you love the color of the book cover?

I love the collage of book covers they give you. Wish more five star reads were listed (perhaps all of them?) or that I'd gotten to pick. Also wish I could separate my Manga/comic stats from my book stats entirely but other than running two accounts (which sounds like a pain) I don't think there's a way to do that. I'm still wrapping up my last spreads in my reading journal but that's 2024 complete. Since I managed 66 books when comics are included, I think I'll go for a no-holds-barred 100 book goal in 2025. I'm also going to refresh my goal to read all the Nancy Drew books; I wish the bootleg PDFs would run smoother on my ereader though. As a cross-year thing, I'm also going to be tracking a "Read a Book From Every Country challenge"; I'm going to simplify it to "X countries per continent" instead of going for every single one. Finally challenge I'm going into 2025 with is Storygraph's "Read Every Day of January" challenge; once I'm done setting up my journal I think I'll start working through Dracula again. Wish me luck!

sorry for all the rambling, im in a talkative mood tonight,, but anyway, i'm real grateful that this stuff has a fandom. Even though there are like... 5-6 people in it, its still pretty active, especially for that tiny number. I wish it was so active back in december of 2023, when I used to be extremely hyperfixated on it. sadly now the fixation faded, but thankfully i'm still interested in it... Just not as much. I remember thinking I was Elias Witherow's number 1 fan for life, but now I see that you guys are much more dedicated, and that's completely okay. I'm way more interested in other things now, and i'm actually pretty much officially the number 1 fan of one of the other things, and even though my interest in The Third Parent faded I still hope i'll remain in the fandom for much longer and actually get to making more fan content someday. The old fanart and everything I made was not too good, but I have improved and am ready to make things again, and way better this time. Sorry for all the rambling again, I know a part of this probably won't make sense, or no one would care, but I'm not forcing you to read and understand all of this. I just wanted to let out my feelings and say thanks to all of you, even though it's for such a small thing.

For Taff and Cotton candy, sorta. It's (for the most part) just their colors but they do smell like their namesakes. Like that one toy brand I dont remember the name of-

It's very silly, I think. Everyone here eventually has an "oh" moment. That moment when they realize they care about you. This moment never happens for any of our other friends, or at least, it doesn't anymore. Probably did when our friends were our FPs. But. I had that moment, just a few minutes ago, and.

And I. I get it. I understand. And you could look at my SP profile and see my listed groups and go, "Well that's not surprising, you've been in the flower patch since you formed," and you'd be right. But still.

I... Don't know how to label this. Should I even bother? Does it even matter? I'm a man of labels. We are too, collectively. We feel or experience something and we have to find a word for it, and if a word doesn't exist then we'll be damned, we'll make one, but.

But. Perhaps it's fine for things to go unlabeled. Whatever this is. It feels stronger than friendship, to us. Not romance, never romance, but more intense than "friendship".

And, god, friendship. We have... Thoughts on the word, as someone who's apl.at. If we could we'd never call our friends our friends. We'd never use that word to describe our relationships with them. We'd call them our stars, they burn bright in the sky and light the sky up in the most wonderful constellation one could imagine. But... Eh. They wouldn't understand. People rarely... Get it, that aspect of our identity.

But I digress.

All I know is I care about you. On top of being a stickler for labels, I'm not one to... Feel. Strong emotion. Some of us are much more emotional than others; I got the short end of the stick there and hold onto our alexithymia. Emotions are a goddamn mystery to me half the time. But what I do know is I'm tearing up writing this and you're on my mind and my heart aches, and... I don't know.

My role here is just like Stan's, it's related to you, specifically. We keep the system from panicking when you're not doing good, to put it very simply. I can do this job no problem, I don't feel emotion very well or very much, and until today I wasn't... I dunno. Until today it didn't hit me. Whatever "it" is.

All this to say... Congratulations, I guess? You got another one. I am very fond of you.

this first one is Coffee Smoothie Cookie, a talented one in kitchenware–maybe even the best in every timeline! he was brought into the Department by Timekeeper herself when she establishes a Cafeteria for the employees to rest during lunch time (she went too silly so they didnt thought about it earlier 🤭)

alsooo Marble Bread is his boyfriend 👉🏻👈🏻💞💞💞💞💞 honestly i didn't created Smoothie to be another oc x canon but since I created him and Prune Yogurt (see the next oc sheet) during my Marble Bread phase too.... woala, the tables turned!!! (i believe they're my 2nd oc x canon after StainedIce (Stained Komodo x Captain Ice— i'll talk abt them when i make Modo's sprite))

next one is the head of the TBD Clinic (i made that up), Prune Yogurt Cookie!!!! believe it or not, i created her before Prune Juice was even teased– like god her name was ALMOST stolen by a canon character 😭😭😭😭

but yeah i eventually made the two prunes siblings to push the negative thought away /vvvpos

tbh i cant showcase much of Pruyo due to her existence in the TBD is heavily influenced by Energy Drink's story (who i sadly havent made a sprite of their TBD uniform to match my headcanon).

tldr, the timeline En was in gor corrupted and they fell into a time pocket, they got saved by the TBD and even cured their carrying virus of the Jellywalkers thanks to the time manipulator. (yes, Pruyo was the one who did it with a couple of trusted supervisors)
