Oh no, Damien got captured by some lowly goons! Unfortunately he was without his armor and can't use his telepathy as there are dampeners all around. But the fools forgot to check his pockets! Can he escape? How screwed is he?

He has 5 dollars, some unused creamer sachets, and a dream his puppetmaster scar. His rings serve as a hacking tool for security devices and has a hidden offensive function like the puppetweapon used in the auction (but he'd like to play with his food if possible)

He'd play the helpless and desperate captive to get his captors to lower their guard and begin observing their interpersonal relationships and weaponizing whatever information they let slip. Then he'd ask seemingly innocuous questions/conversations with them to sow distrust with one another and whoever's employing them. Finally, he targets the weakest-willed among them and manipulates them further to give him the opening he needs to slip away.

Otherwise, if all else fails, he'll shift to provoking them until it escalates to them attacking him and he'll give them a shocking surprise 😉⚡.

Okay in honor of the potential 8x06 date, BuckTommy? Would they do costumes on Halloween? If so, separate or couples? What would they be?

Sure! I don’t see why they wouldn’t? I think Buck loves costumes and that he’d help take Jee out trick-or-treating (work permitting). I also think that maybe they’d try to do matching, almost like a family theme between the three of them (Buck—Tommy—Jee). But I also think that Buck and Tommy metaphorically *also* share one brain cell between them. Tommy “They had Henleys in the 80s” Kinard + Evan “I am [Crockett]” Buckley would absolutely go in with the intention of doing a matching costume theme for Halloween and come out with two very different interpretations of the assignment.

EX: Evan “I don’t know that reference” Buckley suggests they dress in “dark knight” costumes, so Tommy “Movie Buff” Kinard dresses up as Batman while Buck puts on a dark-colored, cloaked, vaguely-medieval themed costume with a leather chest plate, arm braces, tall boots, and a fake sword and shield to match the theme of Jee’s princess costume (and her sword and shield).

“Tommy, I said dark knights.” “I *am* the Dark Knight.” “No, no, not Batman! A dark knight costume.” *gestures to outfit* “Evan— no one thinks of that when you say ‘dark knight,’ they think of Batman.” “But you knew Jee would be going as a princess.” “And I thought *we* were going as superheroes.”

Tommy ends up being THE HIT of the neighborhood. Buck’s a little put out at first (he wanted people to notice how much hard work he put into his costume and matching Jee’s theme), but he does eventually have to admit that Tommy’s costume is *really* cool and it also fits him *really* well.

“So— how much did this costume cost?” *Tommy considers his costume for a moment* “I don’t remember *exactly* how much; I’ve had it for years, but it wasn’t cheap.” “Then I’ll remember to be careful with it when I take it off you later tonight.”

For admiration, it has to be Thomas Harris! He founded the first school of naval medicine in the United States and was eventually head of the Medical Department of the Navy. His medical ideas, while occasionally dated, are notable for sensible recommendations for exercise and physical activity, and he was a great supporter of continuing education for naval surgeons. ("As valuable improvements are yearly making in our extensive science," he wrote to the Secretary of the Navy in 1816, "my duty as well as ambition prompts me to endeavour to keep pace with them.")

His first post as a naval surgeon was aboard USS Wasp, and he was present for the bloody and violent action against HMS Frolic. He assisted the British surgeon immediately after the battle, and received high praise from the Americans and British alike for his professionalism and skill. He also served aboard USS Mohawk on the Great Lakes and was at sea for almost the entire War of 1812, then he departed for the Second Barbary War as surgeon on USS Macedonian. A great teacher and administrator, the man did not lack for practical experience in naval combat. Among other accomplishments, Harris also wrote a biography of Commodore William Bainbridge.

So Voradras is such a young drow, how's he see the rest of his life playing out post-tadpole? What's his hopes and dreams with his hopefully many years ahead?

I love this question because really post bg3 he's open to doing whatever he wants. He goes to Waterdeep with Gale and for the first time since leaving the Underdark he has an actual home (he was basically homeless for those 5 years if you exclude the times he crashed at his druid friends' home in Neverwinter Wood) And from there he just kind of lives his life and enjoys his freedom.

His life definitely slows down a lot. In drow society single years don't really count a lot, but on the surface, with all the different races its different, so his perception for the passage of time changes over time I think.

He still frequently goes on adventures with Gale and also his friends from the campaign I made him for originally, and at some point he involuntarily gets involved in a deal with Jarlaxle and semi-joins Bregan D'aerthe (reluctantly) as an informant.

One of his big goals is to help other renegade drow from the Underdark gain footing on the surface, so he sets up a place independantly from the temple of Eilistraee. He helps teaching common, social norms and trains with the children.

His story is open-ended like that on purpose so there can always be space for other campaigns he and his friends might be part of in the future, but in the meantime he's content enjoying the married life in the wizard tower with Gale, Tara and his familiar Alva (or how others call her, Noodle)

Francisco! We already know he’s down with beachy shirts and flip flops, and I could easily see him picking up this shirt from a boardwalk vendor and asking if I dare him to wear it. I do, and he does, just to make me laugh. He’s the sweetest and loves making me crack up with his shenanigans.

Do you ever remember your dreams? If so are there any interesting ones?

I remember them rarely but the ones I do are pretty wacky. Or nightmares.

Here recently I got a good few:

The first involves me waking up to my room a complete mess, like near disaster level of mess. Mountains of clothes, my furniture was even out of place, and even my bathroom wasn’t spared. The toilet was slightly uprooted but miraculously still worked

I remember dream me checking outside my room and talking to my nephew about it. The bit of the rest of the house I saw looked in order, and he didn’t seemed worried, much to my annoyance. As I think I suspected some break in but was confused as to why it was just my room that got torn up

I return to my room to find it less of a mess but still a mess. As if whoever did this felt bad and tried to clean without being noticed. This just stresses me out more cause now I know the culprit is still there

I sit down at my desk that I think was lopsided and turn on my laptop (and for some reason I two laptops??) and I think I have issues with my PIN before getting in and waking up

I personally don’t know if this dream meant anything. I know dreams can have meaning. This one likely do with stress and my brain trying to sort out things plus external changes (there was some work being done on the house, dream me went into the room being worked on as that’s were nephew was)

Another dream that sticks out to me was like three dreams stuck together, so I’ll focus on one part in particular

I’m extremely tired. Dad, sister, and I just checked in somewhere. I don’t know how but my tiredness leads to me trying to bathe in my clothes (I’m wearing an orange hoodie I own irl). My sister walks in on me and comments on this, I can’t get myself to do much about it because of exhaustion (I may have been sick in the dream as well? That I don’t remember), I think she leaves to get me new clothes

The scene jumps and I’m staring at myself in shock in a full bodied mirror. I stare back at myself but I look different. Mirror self is me with top surgery done and incredibly curly hair. All dream me can say is “woah”

Keep in mind, I am transmasc leaning with gender, my hair is also pin straight and cannot hold curls at all

This dream…the mirror part is gender things, that I can tell. The bathing in my clothes and exhaustion could be my own burnout and myself telling me to be more accepting of help. Perhaps something else but I’m not particularly well read on dream meanings sooo

Another that I remember a piece of was from years ago when I was…a pre teen or early teens maybe? Two men riding zebras looking at the TARDIS

Then there’s a bunch involving parasites, namely ticks…

And snakes

But the two above are most recent and clearest in my head so there ya go

The AU takes place in an era loosely inspired by 1950's America. El Astro Hotel was originally an elite hunter's lodge that was popular in the 20s, until the Fazbear Group bought it and turned it into the hotel it is known as now. It is run entirely by staff bots, and operates under the management of two automatons: Sun and Moon. Sun, THE RECEPTIONIST, mans the front desk during the day and interacts with hotel guests to ensure their stay is satisfactory. He really loves his job and socialising is his strong suit! He cannot function in dark conditions. Moon, THE NIGHT AUDITOR, is the supervisor after hours. Since hotel traffic is very slow at night, he usually leaves his post to work on miscellaneous maintenance and repairs. He needs dim lights/darkness to function. THE JOURNALIST is the unfortunate reader who against all odds, stumbles on the hotel in the middle of a storm to seek shelter for the night. Immediately intrigued by the secrets that the hotel hides, they decide to investigate. Unbeknownst to them, they are about to be swept up in the messy drama unfolding between the hotel's two head automatons.

the au is very much sun and moon divorce core, with the reader being dragged in for being at the wrong place at the wrong time :')

I believe Bobby is coming back from the dead because I think we deserve to live in a world where Kenneth Choi gets to act his ass off by playing a simultaneously relieved/joyous and angry/furious Chimney, who feels like he has to thank Bobby, but also scream at him until his throat is sore because it wasn't fair to make that decision! he's going to say they should have played rock, paper, scissors and Bobby will chuckle because he thinks he's joking like silly haha Chimney, but Chimney is like "no, we should have discussed it, you died and I didn't even get to say thank you. you died and I owed you a debt I didn't even know about. you let me carry that" and he has to wrestle with the guilt of knowing that Bobby would do that for him, not just theoretically, but actual concrete proof that Bobby would die to save him. which they all know on some surface level that they'd die for one another, but it feels like such a far-off concept until it isn't. but Chimney also has to deal with the gratitude because Chimney is also so incredibly thankful that he didn't die. every step of the way he wanted Ravi, Bobby, Buck, and Athena to commit crimes, because he loves his life and he wants to keep living it. he's so overjoyed that he got to go home to his wife and kid, and that comes with its own guilt because how can he be so happy to be home when Bobby DIED. does that make him a monster? that on some level he's HAPPY that Bobby did that? and now he has to FACE Bobby. so he tries to be the Before Chimney who gets people whimsical gifts, but how do you give someone balloons about choosing your life over theirs? and he spirals because he's different now and Bobby is here and he has so so much he wants to say but all of it feels contradictory and unfair and he would normally go to Bobby for advice. so he does. he goes to Bobby and he says "what would you do, if you were in my position?" and Bobby just says "whatever you need to say or feel, I understand" and that just makes Chimney even more upset because what he needs is for none of this to have ever happened. its like they all got a re-do, but kept the memories and the feelings and now he has nowhere appropriate to put them. anyway, Bobby lives and we get Chimney angst yay <3 forever and ever.
