....submitted herself completely to God's will i.e. by choosing not to sin.
Why does Mary being sinless make Jesus less special? Mary isn't deified by being created without sin. Adam and Eve were created without sin.
Jesus is free from sin because He is God, he's incapable of sin. Or sin is incompatible with Him, by nature.
Mary is free from sin because she chose not to sin. She was freed from original sin like the rest of us, by Christ's sacrifice. Submitting yourself completely to God's will necessarily means being sinless, because it is not God's will for you to sin. One of the definitions of sin is going against God's will.
The point of the Incarnation wasn't that Christ was sinless, it's that he was God. The point of Christ's sacrifice was because he was sinless, but in the way that only God is.
The point of the Immaculate Conception that God holds the ultimate power over sin and forgiveness, and that He loves the world enough to justify us to Him at the price of His Son, and the first fruit of that was His own Mother.
Any grace preferred to Mary or anyone for that matter only exist to magnify God. It can't undermine His power because it's source is Him.
Mary being treated as if she was sinless makes me so so sad. Like talk about erasing the wonder and glory of Jesus’ birth

You guys want to hear something wild?
We breed dotties at work and sometimes they get aggressive, which was the case when a male neon decided to attack his wife, a female springer. So we temporarily separated them by putting the female in a basket, so she can still be in the tank but he can’t get to her.
A few weeks go by. The springer is still in the basket. Suddenly a clutch of eggs appear in the neon’s tube. The eggs are fertile. Every single person who has been in broodstock the past week has been asked, and none of them moved eggs out of the basket. They just appeared.
So, our possibilities are, in order of unlikelihood:
1. There’s somehow a third dotty that’s been secretly living in the tank, undetected, and she’s the mother
2. The neon has two functional sets of reproductive organs and fertilized the eggs himself
3. The springer laid eggs, passed them through or over the basket somehow, and the neon fertilized and incubated them.
So yeah we’re gonna hatch that clutch and see what happens

Very quickly the devotion to the Virgin, like other aspects of the Saint's life, passed into an experience of her mysteries, when God made Teresa enter into contact with the mystery of Christ and all that pertains to it. In Teresa's mystical experience of the mystery of Our Lady there is, as it were, a progressive penetration into the most important moments of the Virgin's life, as we find it in the Gospels.
