Thinking about Peet asking the Igiby kids “can you fly?” with such wild, reckless delight in his voice, and thinking about how disappointed he sounded when Janner replied “no.” Like that birdman was so hekkin excited by the possibility that his nephews and niece could fly. He was so excited. He was so genuinely happy.

Yo I didn't think the wingfeather saga was this popular I thought it was just one of those weird niche book series's my conservative mom would let little me read O_O

I don’t know that I would say it’s popular per-say, I think it’s just well loved by a very small but rather vocal handful lol

I do think the recent Netflix adaptation probably helped people’s awareness of it though

The soundtrack to The Wingfeather Saga: A Crow for the Carriage still brings me great comfort on long nights
