   Ducky boos arose from his bed, stretched and yawned. Wow! What a nap that was. With a rub of his eye, he lazily glanced over to the calendar... Oh it’s December 12th... DECEMBER 12TH!??!?! 

   “AAAAAHHHH!!!!” 

   The duck shrieked and bolted from his bed, quicker than a flash!!

   “IGOR! NANNY! WHY DID YOU LET ME DOZE OFF LIKE THAT-- FOR THIS LONG NO LESS! C’MON! WE GOTTA DECORATE THE CASTLE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!”

   Oh. Uuhh. Duckula froze mid step. Dangit. He had been caught. 

   He was trying to sneak away from his family reunion, the family members in question having their festivities with Igor in attendance, their chatter and cheering can still be heard in some far away room. Did… Did Charles follow him? Why???

   He slowly spun around, his body somewhat rigid. “Ah! Hahaa,” He chuckled nervously, grinning with those funny looking fake teeth, praying that they would fool the other. 

   “F-f-favorite?” He mumbled. He… Didn’t recognize this uncle, it seems. “Ahh, ha, yeah, yeah, ish been sho long! I bar’e remember you,” He sheepishly admitted, twiddling his thumbs with his cloak. “And I’ve been… Around, I guessh.”   

   How was he going to worm out of this one???
