pre-1980s craft books: this is the correct equipment. this is the correct ergonomic setup. this is the correct technique to achieve this result. here's a progression of increasingly difficult projects that will teach you the foundational skills of the craft.

Sorry this one took so long! I wasn't sure if you wanted art or a fic, but I couldn't get a fic rolling so I just drew it? Between the hands, birds, and Four's pose being very very weird and now just not working at all, it took me a bit, but it's done now! (just don't look too close LOL)

I found an absolute treasure today. A Penguin Illustrated Classics edition of Pride and Prejudice from 1938.

(I love that you can see on the inside of the dust jacket on the bottom right the price in 'old' money of 6d... aka sixpence or half a shilling!)

#this fatal kiss #aroaessidhe 2024 reads #bisexual books #polyamorous books #his is so fun I enjoyed it a lot!#it’s reasonably low stakes and is cute and whimsical but with some darker elements #and some very endearing characters #There’s a few things I wanted answers about - but clearly it’s going to be a duology #so I guess I’ll have to wait. I feel like it *could* have wrapped things up as a standalone if it wanted to though #some nods to The Dark Tide too (the MC is from there)#I enjoyed all the queerness and bisexuality plus some brief interesting moments of gender thoughts even from the ostensibly cis MCs #(i say ostensibly cis - she does actually pretty explicitly say she has no feelings about gender but it's just easier to be a girl)#(also says she's love to be a big buff guy at some point. but it's not really explored)#I assume this will be a part of book 2 but uhhh I couldn’t stop thinking about alexi’s body. like. iykyk. r we gonna address that #also LOVE THE COVER
