Maybe it'll turn out better this time: A love letter to all the joy and sorrow that this story has given me
Tumblr media
(Art by @blogofyolo)
Here's the first of two tracks I had on Land of Fans and Music 5 Act 2, which came out two days ago! I'm dedicating this one to @utopianparadoxist, who wrote the post that made this track appear in my mind in such blinding clarity I couldn't stop making until it was done.
I also have some extended commentary about this one--it's more important to me than I give it credit for.
When I finished reading Homestuck, I was...disappointed. That disappointment morphed gradually into disgust as I watched schisms violently open in the fandom following the Epilogues and Homestuck^2, and in the process I felt like I'd lost something.
I kept thinking that maybe, if I just read the comic again, it would turn out different. Maybe it'd be the story I'd once loved and it would fill me with breathless wonder again. Maybe it'd be better.
But earlier this year, a post by uP crossed my dash after he'd disappeared from my periphery for well over a year. He was outlining his plans surrounding Pumpkin Path, a story he's writing that runs adjacent to the Epilogues and (eventually though not yet?) gives these characters the futures they've earned.
And I realised...the way I'd been thinking about it, that's not how it works, y'know? It's not the story that has changed: it's my heart, my relationship with it. And the best thing I could do was take what this once-beloved story gave me and make something new with it. And that's what many people have done in the wake of Homestuck's end: we've all gone off and made new stories, for which this long-beloved comic was an undeniable progenitor.
It reminded me of a certain recurring motif in the comic itself. Every time the universe resulted in a corrupt or barren session, the players...well, they rebooted it. They left the old universe behind, and started a new one, billions of years all over again just to see where it would go this time.
There was no use in searching for the story that used to be, because it was me that had changed.
You may as well leave that old universe behind and start a new one from scratch.
This is the idea that seeded the above track, and it caught me off guard, because it was the first Homestuck music I had made in more than two years--after I thought I'd sworn it off for good. And then, two days later, Maybe it'll turn out better this time was done. (Two days is, by the way, a very short time for a track to emerge.) It was a small, silly, wonderful little thing, a sapling in the ashes, that proved to me that things could change.
But beyond my track, the entirety of LOFAM5A2 feels especially so. It's a startling breath of fresh air that emerged from so much genuine joy and excitement. I'm happy I got to contribute even just a little work to it and I really, really hope that the fandom sees it for all that went into it. An UMSPAF manager once said that my music always sounds hopeful, but it was never intentional until this one. Thank you to everyone who's made good art that has inspired others in turn, you create life with your own hands.

THE MORNING AFTER: ONLY FRIENDS, EPISODE 2 ("I PROMISED YOU THE MOONSHINE") EDITION
Being a day late to watching and writing about Only Friends allows me a little airspace away from the gasps and dopamine of the collective community first watch of each episode, and lemme tell ya -- my dash yesterday was so hot, it was like melting Tupperware on a stove. Unfortunately for many in the fandom, the ships are going to sink. That shower scene got some folks wrecked. Many folks on my dash have a sudden disdain for Neo Trai (poor kiddo). For anyone who reads around here, you might remember my implored begging of the Tumblr family to watch Gay OK Bangkok before Only Friends premiered, and I still stand by it. The Only Friends team -- Jojo Tichakorn, Ninew Pinya, writers Den Panuwat and Best Kittisak -- are playing with a lot of concepts that I thought were just FABULOUSLY explored in this second episode, and these concepts ARE going to lead to further innuendos and endings that the shippers are just not going to like. (I think GOKB primed us for this.) And frankly, by the way this episode played out (as we were talking about a couple days ago, @lurkingshan) -- I think that's a hell of a point that the team is making in our faces.
I'm going to get to this more in a moment. Let me explain more, by way, of all things (!) -- plum wine.
So a bunch of us meta clowns (cc @ranchthoughts, @chickenstrangers, @lurkingshan) were talking about a theory I had on Friday regarding the theme of ephemerality in the first episode. How Cheum indicated to Mew that there's a lot in Thailand that'll bring them down, from pollution to radiation. She wanted Mew to nab Top -- she indicated that life is fickle, so what did her homeboy have to lose? Go get yer man, she said.
@ranchthoughts, @chickenstrangers, @lurkingshan and I took this conversation further yesterday (please read all the reblogs on this link, folks, it's a great conversation!), exploring the many more references to the ephemeral, fickle nature of time and life that Only Friends is referencing. @chickenstrangers clocked that Yo's bar is called YOLO. @ranchthoughts clocked that Sand's bag of plum wine read "you only live once." @lurkingshan noted that Jojo's played around with the ephemeral before -- in Gay OK Bangkok, examining the impact of HIV on Bangkok's gay male population.
The reblogs of the post linked above also capture some common mentalities about the "future" for our current crop of young folks today (I... am not young, lol), particularly for the young queer community. That through climate change, the slow-snail-paced fight for equity (like the legalization of same-sex marriage in Thailand) (and even comparing it to the roll-back of rights for the LGBTQ+ community in the States) -- as @ranchthoughts wrote, there seems to be a stronger sense of "live fast, die young," among younger cohorts than when I was a young lass, born in the 1980s, when a middle management career could get you everything you needed, with a unfettered retirement in sight.
To me, the most wrenching references to the ephemeral in this second episode focused on death. "Do you want us to die?," Sand asked laughingly as Ray played around in the car. Top can't sleep alone because after a childhood trauma, he's afraid he'll die alone. Ray's deceased mom is shown with a glass in her hand.
And how are these young folks behaving? In the face of literal death, as they themselves are referring to it: they're living life very riskily. Top's a player. So is Boston. We hope they're playing safe. (Gay OK Bangkok had condoms all over the place. I haven't seen any yet in OF.) Ray's blood alcohol levels are clearly through the roof. Sand's committing a crime.
Say what now? Committing a crime?
I hope folks clocked that. What's REALLY making me shake my head is how slick the non-sexual commentary was in this episode.
Going back to my original post on ephemerality that I let loose on Friday: I talked about the metaphor of plum wine and the passage of time -- how plum wine tastes sweeter and better as you let it age.
Sand was pissed that his bottles of plum wine broke because he's making it himself. That's why he wanted Ray to pay him back for the lost supply. Sand lost both product AND time.
Making and selling plum wine is illegal in Thailand. It's like the selling of rotgut during Prohibition.
SAY WHAT? For real. Thailand's laws around alcohol are wild, y'all. The display of alcohol logos is weirdly regulated (I laugh at how bottles are often blurred out in Thai dramas), brewing alcohol within Thailand is insanely complicated (some people brew alcohol in Thailand, then bottle it elsewhere and import it BACK into Thailand to skirt these laws), and -- you cannot buy alcohol from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Remember we saw Ray sneaking some sips from a flask outside the hostel site? That's a major flag for confirmed alcoholism (drinking alone during the day). But also, if Ray wanted a drink during the hours of 2-5 pm -- he had to have the booze on himself to have a tipple.
We know Jojo does NOT shy away from political commentary. We saw it in spades during Dirty Laundry.
What I love about Jojo's work is that he's unafraid to call out the hypocrisy of these kinds of laws. The making of plum wine is ILLEGAL? In Japan, making umeshu is traditional. (It's also the easiest and most delicious thing ever, please try making it!). For many of us around the world, making umeshu is a hobby, and a perfectly safe one at that. Considering Thailand's economy is so dependent on tourism, and that Bangkok itself is a world-class city, you would think that the selling of alcohol wouldn't be so complicated, and yet... 'tis.
This leads me to what I saw as the second Big Theme of this episode, besides ephemerality: I saw a lot of hypocrisy in this episode.
We got the liquor laws bullshit. We got Boston. Boston strikes me as a hypocrite for setting up his friend Mew with Top -- all while Boston's still wanting to get with Top, to the point of sneaking into Top's shower.
And Mew strikes me as a hypocrite, too. He wants to "redo" the start of his relationship with Top?... on his own terms? So, they're not boyfriends anymore? After already....having dated? Believable, my dude. The guys are in a PatPran-esque battle of... something, and I don't think it's wits, because neither of them seem to have many wits about them. They seem to be more interested in just winning a goal that (except for sex for Top) seems wholly unclear. Does Mew not know that Top may very well NOT respect Mew? Is Mew aware that his read on Top may not be at all accurate? And.... does Mew actually care? I'm not convinced of it.
Live fast, die young. What does it matter to be a hypocrite if the future is unstable, if time is speeding by -- and if no one is holding these young folks accountable for their behavior, as I put into the tags of @ranchthoughts's post yesterday? As Nick says to Boston: "you're a rich guy -- you don't care much for things." What, exactly, would make these rich kids care about being ethical human beings?
Accountability is around the corner for this group. Nick is starting to catch feelings. Boston is wondering why he's getting rejected by Top. Sand's recognizing that Ray's sniffing out something between them (cc @neuroticbookworm) (and, who knows, as NBW first referenced in her post -- Sand might be catching feelings, too). All of these friends -- it's mindblowing! -- leave Ray alone, often, wasted off his ass, to get himself home, as Sand himself notes.
These characters are going to get hurt, and it's only a matter of time until we begin seeing it happen. At the micro-level, human to human, they will hurt each other. And society, Thai society, is doing these young people no favors by not helping to equalize the inequity between rich and poor -- as Sand has to take risks to sell illegal hooch, of all things, to just get by.
Wrapping this up with what I was mentioning up at the top about the jibbles that the fandoms are starting to feel towards the established GMMTV ships of this show slowly sinking. Isn't there a bit of hypocrisy there as well? This show is NOT going to be pretty for the ForceBook/FirstKhao established ships. What are we, as fans, going to do when that time comes? Will we condemn Jojo? Will we stop watching the show? Will we equivocate by way of blaming other characters?
This show should be celebrated already for the risks it's taking, and the risks it will take. (Remember: fans protested at the GMMTV building in 2019 when the KristSingto ship was broken for He's Coming To Me.) Only Friends deciding to take on the toxicity and hypocrisy of shipper fandom? Bring it on. We cannot only enjoy the performances of these actors when they're paired up with one repeating partner. As the life of Gay OK Bangkok depicted, as the life of Only Friends is depicting -- life is a whole lot more complicated than just a dreamlike, over-organized monogamy between two people (ahem, Mew). Life -- and TIME -- will bring complications and change, sometimes unwanted change, that we have to learn to handle and manage. I'm not colored surprised in the least that Jojo's making this experience for us jump out of the screen and into our own hearts, as we see our beloved actors take risks upon themselves by their breaking of their own ships. I am all here for it, and I hope the shipper fans can be, too.
(BIG UPS to the small meta army family -- @ranchthoughts, @lurkingshan, @chickenstrangers, @neuroticbookworm -- I'm so thrilled to continue being thoughtful with y'all!)

Dashing Youth Ep 1-10 Commentary
Ep 11-16, Ep 17-21, Ep 22-25, Ep 26-32, Ep 33-35, Ep 36-40
Alrighty let's organise all my thoughts in neat lil piles.
1. Personally the type of Wuxia I enjoy is the more subdued, mature and philosophical vibe like that of Sword Snow Stride and Mysterious Lotus Casebook. I rarely watch youthful, lighthearted, rom-comey wuxia/xianxia/xuanhuan. I didn't enjoy BoY a lot and I still wonder how I managed to finish it, the few characters I loved were Wuxin, Tang Lian, Zhao Yuzhen, Prince Chong and Prince Lingchen, because they had the acting style and character arcs that were closer to my preferences.
I clicked on Dashing Youth just for the curiosity and out of "since I watched BoY anw, I'm kinda obligated for this" feeling, but unexpectedly, within 10 mins I was in love lol. Many of the actors I already know and love, the bromance is instantaneous and strong, the promise of a good tragedy is alluring, and I could enter the worldbuilding faster because I already know what to expect from this universe.
AND I ADORE how the casting directors seem to have chosen actors with BLs/BL-vibe shows under their belt for all the important roles, they all know exactly what to do and like:
Tumblr media
I for one am not mad about all the CP pushing promo the showmakers are doing. I mean, even if this was a super straight story we'll end up with gay fanfics anyway, right? So just as well we get to see our fantasies haha 😏
Like, that's an adorable thumbnail!
Tumblr media
OK without further ado, getting myself invited into the Daddies' party time!!
By ep 4, Dongjun has so far charmed the asses off of Spear daddy, Lei daddy, and now Liu Xueyi's daddy. At this rate, I'll have to assume that the future kids are gonna be procreated not via their future wives, but through the consummation of the daddies' elaborate spiritual bodies when they flirt-duel lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Exactly like that)
Now I really wanna see a 重回我爸的高中时代 (Back to My Dad's High School Days) edit for Dongjun and his harem from the kids' povs Like here .
Ep 6- You did indeed, Wu Xie 2.5!
Tumblr media
Hou Minghao collects new boyfriends, old boyfriends and his own other-selves like pokemon😆 Also gotta say that everytime I see Bai Shu now I feel like a proud parent. He's grown so much from the grumpy scrawny bb Wu Xie era huhu
Ep 9- It's amazing how I personally didn't really enjoy BoY, but Wuxin instantly got my love and while I'm 10x more drawn to Dashing Youth, the one who won me over above everyone else is again, Wuxin's dad. Also, Wuxin's dad is a chef! How can I not love this baby!
Tumblr media
Everyone showing off martial arts while they are in their own world, serving a buffet lmao
Lei Mengsha looking at this poster: Yep, I can see this polycule is not a good idea. Usually I'm all in but I'll sit this one out and go make my two kids in peace. I'll have my chance with HMH in another universe anw
Despite being the silliest of them all, LMS is the only one who gives the vibe he'll always stand straight on his two feet even if the entire world goes topsy-turvy. I don't even need to look at BoY to be proven correct.
Tumblr media
Ep 10- Ever since his intro from ep 1 where he went all, "wow, what a fate!", I love the parts they do these crossover jokes
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(In fact, instinctively performing Qimen Dunjia is possibly how LMS figured out the trajectory the other boys were going to be in LMAO)
Now they need to add some tomb robbing jokes when Bai Shu and Neo interact and it'd be perfect!
Also it feels kinda fateful that Lei Wujie would go bond with Xiao Se, Lei Mengsha was best bros with his uncle Langya.

This blog is low activity, semi-selective. AU, crossover and OC friendly.
Also unaffiliated with any specific groups.
Mun is 25+ years of age, and open to NSFW themes and topics such as sex, violence, gore and horrific imagery which will be tagged accordingly (that said, if you want more tagged, please let me know). Muses considered of age unless otherwise specified.
AU, Crossover and OC muses: If I don’t have a decent understanding of your character, I will need to see rules/ about pages so I know what I can expect or what is okay to write. If these pages aren’t accessible (and I do go out of my way to try and find the links via url AND tag searches), then I’m probably not going to interact with you. Sorry.
I am a multiship blog and happy to RP with alternates! As well as this, I’m a firm believer of ship-and-let-ship, write-and-let-write. If someone is writing something you don’t like, you can find the unfollow and block buttons. I do not care.
I tend to favour short dash-watch replies simply because this is sometimes a lot easier, but I am happy to do lengthy replies and long story-type plots. This does take time, however, so I understand if that’s not okay.
Asks, AU’s and Magic Anons are all accepted, though it may take some time to answer. Personal blogs may send messages but I may not reply.
On that note, anons are welcome always, however, bullying or harrassment will not be tolerated. Usually it will simply be laughed at and deleted, but please remember there is a person here. Sometimes it’s just incredibly upsetting and that will result in a block.
Multiship unless otherwise specified and agreed upon by involved parties.
Open to both prior-plotting and spontaneous play, including dash commentary, however force-shipping and god-modding (without prior discussion) will not be tolerated. And hey this means for me too. If you’re not happy with something I’ve replied with PLEASE let me know and I’ll fix it!
PM and discord stuff can also be okay too (pls be patient, for some reason I don’t get all my pings!), if you wish for my discord, send me a message.
Please don’t use me as a meme source. Soft/ hard blocks HAVE and WILL be utilised for repeat offenders. I don’t care anymore. If you’re not interested in sending me said meme, DO NOT REBLOG IT FROM ME.
Replies— Please be patient with me. My activity is incredibly sporadic because I am an adult with other things happening (I have two jobs and an incredibly large workload in my volunteering) and I can be a distracted bean or hyperfocus on specifics. I’m sorry about that. All the things are happening. But I love you. ❤️😘
Further with the point above, this also means that in general, unless someone has come to me, I will generally have no idea what's going on drama-wise. I don't have the time to sit on the dash and analyse, and I very much am outside of a lot of private conversations and communities. I just float along in my little bubble and slowly reply to people. If you have any concerns about a situation, my door is always open as a friendly ear or a sounding board, or even if you want to let me know if you think it could be relevant, but to be frank: I don't really want to be involved in general drama if I can help it and I will not take sides unless I know what's happening.
Finally, no opinions expressed by the muse or other muses necessarily reflect my own opinions or values, nor do I necessarily condone her behaviour or actions. Really didn’t think this needed to be said, and yet… here we are.

The chalk squeaks across the board as he writes out the basic outline of today’s lecture. Steadying himself from the stress of his upcoming class, Aizawa lets out a long sigh. Bit by bit, students start trickling in and taking their seats in the lecture hall, ready to review this week’s reading about Shakespeare. “Fuck I really hope she’s sick or something, this day’s already tiring enough,” he thought, watching the minutes tick by on the clock above his desk. With two minutes left till class started, Aizawa got up from his desk to close the door, relieved to see a certain student not in his class. But that happiness was dashed the second he saw your hand stop the door from fully closing. You slammed the door open and started walking up to your seat in the tiered classroom, iced coffee in hand. The ice clinked around the plastic container loudly as you plopped down into your chair, looking smugly right at Aizawa.
“I’m so sorry I’m late Professor Aizawa. I pinky promise it won’t happen again,” you say, laughing obnoxiously. And there it started. The tirade of distractions that you did every class. Every damn class you managed to distract everyone from his lecture. Whether it was passing notes to your friends, playing YouTube videos out loud, eating during a test, or making ‘color commentary’ when you thought you knew better than him, you always managed to find someone way to entertain yourself during class.
At first, he tried to ignore it and thought that maybe you were just a freshman looking to be popular. However, as the semester progressed, it was clear to him that you acted out just because you wanted to. That’s what pissed him off the most. Aizawa just couldn’t understand why anyone would go out of their way to do what you were doing.
And it’s not like he hadn’t tried to solve the issue either. He complained to the previous head of literature and even the dean of students, but there was nothing anyone could do. Your family was a major contributor to the sports programs and was known for pledging generous donations to Harvard every year.
Your father was a powerful businessman with good connections throughout the university. And if that wasn’t bad enough, you bullied other students into doing your work and taking your tests, making it nearly impossible to suspend you from the literature program since you were actually ‘doing your work’ according to the dean of students.
Aizawa never would openly admit that he had any students he disliked. But he would say that he hated you. Every day you walked in was a bad day for him. All he wished for was the ability to put you in your fucking place just for once. But that didn’t matter now; all he needed to focus on was finishing his lecture.
He mustered up every bit of patience before replying “It’s fine Ms. (L/N), make sure you are punctual next time.” He heard you snicker in response, but he tried to pay you no mind. He turns back around to the board, explaining the first part of the homework. He heard some sighs as people marked up their work, but your voice stuck out like a sore thumb.
With every single answer, you kept commenting on what you thought. “If it were me and Romeo looked like that kid over there, I would’ve gladly drank that poison,” you say to your friend, pointing to another student.
Aizawa’s grip on the chalk intensified. “How does anyone just say that about someone else? How soulless do you have to be?” he thought, a scowl painted across his face. He continued to explain the literature review homework, hoping time was going by faster than it felt. After what felt like forever, the lecture was finally done and he could finally experience peace again. Thank God you’d just stuck to passing notes by the end of class, because if he had to hear your voice again, Aizawa would probably have gone crazy.
“Well, that’s all I have for today, everyone. Please make sure to turn in your homework before heading out and I’ll have them graded during the weekend,” he said, watching his students file out, once again leaving the lecture hall in a mess. His eyes glance over to your seat, littered with folded up pieces of notebook paper. With a reluctant sigh, he gets up from his chair to pick up the pieces of paper so as to lighten the load on the janitor. After picking up what seemed to be a dozen torn pieces, his curiosity got the best of him.
“What could have possibly needed this much paper? Can’t she just have texted this?” Aizawa furrows his brows as he unfurls the crumpled-up paper, and a confused expression floods his face as he reads, "Come to the house at like 8, but bring your own drinks." Interesting. Last he seemed to recall, you were underage.
“Could’ve sworn she was underage, but I guess it’s not totally uncommon to get drunk in college,” he thought to himself as he settled back into his seat, pulling out the submitted work. Only 27 of the 35 students turned in the review, which was disappointing, to say the least, given how straightforward and easy the assignment was designed to be. “It’s better than nothing and gives me less work to do, I guess,” he thought,
“But,” he thought to himself, “people drink all the time before 21, so I guess it’s not too surprising.” He sat down at his desk, pulling out the homework the students had turned in. In total, there were only about 27 sheets. Disappointing, considering there were over 35 students in the class. “It’s better than nothing and gives me less work to do, I guess,” he thought.
After what seemed like forever, he had finally graded a decent chunk of work and decided to head home. He didn’t live too far off campus; his house was just a 15-minute walk away from the arts and sciences building. Aizawa had truly enjoyed living in his little house, that is up until the university had placed a frat house right next to his.
Every week, for the last month, his neighbors managed to party every weekend till the sun rose the next morning. If there was one thing he valued it was sleep and he hated how he couldn’t even get a wink on the weekend. He partied too as a student, but nothing like this. I mean didn’t they at least some form of rest?
Although he'd prefer to move elsewhere, housing at the university is provided to him as part of his contract. With a heavy sigh, he trudges through the windy evening, ready to seek refuge in the comfort of his home. As he's only a couple blocks away, he hears cackles coming from behind him, and before he has a chance to react, two men rush by, inadvertently shoving him to the ground.
His bag's contents are strewn across the sidewalk as they swiftly disappear inside his neighbor's home. "Assholes!", he curses, collecting his papers from the grass. “Fucking fantastic. Another sleepless night,” he mumbles to himself, picking up his graded papers one by one off the grass.
He walks up to his door and walks inside, the door slamming shut behind him. He spares not even a moment before sinking face-first into his bed. Aizawa hastily takes off and throws his clothes to the side, wanting to sleep as soon as possible.
He closes his eyes, ready to end the day, but his peace and quiet is quickly interrupted with booming sounds radiating from nearby. He shot up out of his bed and walked over to his windows, pulling back to curtains to discover that his hunch was correct: the source of the noise was his neighbor’s house.
Aizawa tried everything under the sun to block out the sounds of his noisy neighbor. He counted sheep, listened to soothing music, even covered his head with a pillow, but nothing seemed to block out the annoying noise. Finally, he'd had enough. He yelled out, "Enough is enough! I'm sick of this noise", before quickly changing into a black t-shirt and pajamas. His mission was clear: he was going to have a word with those neighbors.
As if it weren't loud enough from the comfort of his own home, it was deafening from out here. Like having his ear pressed right up against the speaker itself. He tries knocking a few times, hoping for the best, but he's quickly met with the realization that knocking would accomplish nothing.
He then starts beating on the door, hoping for success this time around. Finally, the door opens to reveal a group of other rich kids with you at the forefront -- wasted in a sparkly tube top dress, with drunken slurs dripping off your tongue.“Pr-Professor Aizawa? Are youuuu here for the party too bestie? You look nice in not stuck up clothes you know, some realllll daddy material.”
"Oh, you are worse drunk than sober", Aizawa grumbled in exasperation as the smell of weed and alcohol overwhelmed his senses, making him feel queasy. "Enough is enough", he yelled sharply, bringing the party to an abrupt halt. "All of you need to either shut up or get out. It's every week with you folks", he snapped.
Turning his attention towards you, and with a harsh whisper just for your ears, he adds, "I see drugs scattered everywhere and you may get away with making a distraction every now and then, but don't think you can avoid expulsion once the dean finds out about this, I’ve got cameras all over my place filming the noise, so if you know what’s good for you, I’d get your ass to my office first thing in Monday morning.”
And with a swift and solid slam of the door, he ended the party and walked back to his house, finally relishing in the sweet silence. To his surprise, the peace and quiet continued for the remainder of the night, and he breathed a heavy sigh of relief, praising the lord for finally granting him a moment of peace.
Aizawa wakes up the following morning, well-rested. It was a dream come true to see his lawn lacking in beer cans and streamers and for the first time in a long time, he’s happy to be up in the morning. The same could not be said about you however. You woke up in a bathtub accompanied with the worst hangover you’d ever experienced in your life. Your head was killing you, Professor Aizawa’s words ringing through your mind. “Just another part of clean-up,” you thought, reaching for your phone to call your dad.
“Hello?”
“Hi! How’s my favorite dad alive doing?” you say cheerily, doing your best to butter him up. All you got was a sigh in response, so you continued. “I just have a teeny tiny, really the smallest thing, favor to ask of you Daddy.”
Internally, you anticipated another sigh from him before sucking up to whatever you wanted your father to do, but this time was different. “I’m tired of your antics Y/N. I don’t even care about the favor or whatever you must’ve done, but it’s gone on far too long. You need to take accountability for your actions because I can’t bankroll you any longer. I’ve spent nearly a half a million dollars just paying for your mistakes and I won’t have any of it any longer. If you’re on the brink of getting suspended again, you will be disowned so apologize to whoever you’ve hurt this time/ It’s time you fixed your own mistakes. You’ll thank me in the future.” And with that your dad hung up.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck", you mumble in distress, beginning to panic. "If he didn't like suspension, he definitely won't be happy with expulsion", you muse, trying to collect your racing thoughts. "What can I do? I better go apologize right away. The sooner we resolve this, the better", you murmur to yourself, attempting to calm your nerves.
After chugging down a few pain killers, you rush to your wardrobe to pick the perfect apology outfit. I mean, of course you had to look humbling, but a clean academic look wouldn’t hurt when saying sorry. “What do I go with? Hmm”, you say, perusing through your wast collection of designer outfits. You finally decide on a cute little number that came straight from Chanel: a pink cropped blazer and a strapdress set. You looked at yourself in the mirror, making sure you gave off the epitome of a teacher’s pet, before putting on your heels and walking next door.
Aizawa barely even sat down in his office before he hears a couple sharp raps coming from his door. “Ah fucking hell. People,” he says to himself before getting up to see who it is. “Jesus Christ.” he says in surprise, looking down to see you, dressed all prim and proper, a total deviation of what he saw last night. It was a shock to him that you were even standing upright. “What do you want? I thought I told you to see me Monday in my office, not today at my house.”
“Professor Aizawa! I hope you’re having a good day. I think we’ve like misunderstood each other. All I wanted to do is have a little chat about what you believe you saw last night Proffesor,” you explain stepping inside.
“No one told you you could come in, but go ahead sit on my couch, who cares anymore?”
You sit down in Aizawa’s living room, crossing your legs and putting your bag to your side. He sits right across from you, patiently waiting for what you’re going to say next. “I just wanted to apologize for all the noise you heard last night, yeah? Didn’t mean it to get so loud.”
Gobsmacked couldn’t even begin to explain how Aizawa felt hearing you apologize to him. “You’re actually being genuine? This isn’t you playing a prank of me or anything?” he says, suspicious.
“No like I’m being so for real, and how do you say, down to Earth right now. I’m sorry for making noise and I won’t do it again, so let’s forget this whole thing and like start a new page, okay?” you reply back with a smile.
“In the nicest way ever Miss (L/N), there’s no way I’m letting you off the hook that quickly. It’s not fair to the other students if I did that. Plus, where would my integrity be if I let you get off scot free doing everything you’ve done? You need to face the consequences to your actions. And in the nicest way possible, getting the chance to discipline you will be the highlight on my career that I wouldn’t give up for the entire world.”
You were absolutely thrown for a loop. You thought that genuinely your problem would be solved with what you said. “Today is just full of unexpectations and not the good kind either,” you say with a huff and crossing your arms.
“See that’s exactly what I mean. This baby behavior? You need to learn the adult world is rough Miss (L/N). I know very well that your dad will have this cleared up in two seconds flat. But this is the most I can do with the footage that I have and there’s no possible way I’m not taking this to the extremes. Respectfully, maybe starting off at community college could be betterto turn your life around.” Aizawa says, the direct opposite of his thoughts that screamed joy at you finding some sort of consequence.
You were doing your best to hold in your tears, but hearing the words ‘community college’ broke the dam. “I-I, I can’t because Daddy, because Daddy he said he won’t help me, and-and-and and he says that I- I have to handle this on my o-own this ti-time, which isn’t fair at all and I can’t get expelled because I’ll be disowned and become a peasant and I’m not made for that life P-P-Professor. And I can’t go to community because I’ll be w-w-with all the poors! Please I’ll do anything!” sobbing and hiccuping on your words as your tried to explain to Aizawa how desperate you were.
Aizawa sat back in his seat, wondering what to make of this. Even if this was the truth, there would be no way you wouldn’t eventually get off the hook. Realistically, even if your dad cut you off, but he knew for a fact what he said was an empty threat. There’s no way he’d allow for a headline that reputation-damaging to spread across the internet, not when he could prevent it. But just then an idea blossomed in his head. “So you’d really do anything?”
You immediately wiped your tears away and scrambled to compose yourself. “Yes! Yes, I’ll like literally do anything, I don’t care, I just can’t afford this.”
“Hmm.. well that’s an interesting proposition then, Miss (L/N). In that case, strip.”
“What?” you say, shocked. “You’re...you’re actually not serious right?”
“I’m completely serious. I heard you talking the other week about how you wanted to fuck me anyways and I seem to recall you saying that I was ‘ real daddy material’, so don’t bother trying to tell me you wouldn’t want this. If you want me to consider forgiving you, you’ll get to stripping,” a smile creeping on his face.
“There must be some way we can work out something else, alright? I mean what if I organize your office or something? Soup kitchen perhaps?” you suggest, scrambling to find some sort of loophole.
“No. I’m sorry young lady, but there’s no out. Get to stripping if you want me to consider. Or you can always face the risk of me going to the dean. Not too far a walk from here actually and I’m sure he’d have a ball listening to your explanations.”
You stood there, shell-shocked. There truly was no way to get out of this. You slipped off your blazer, folding it and placing it gingerly on the couch. You stood up and slowly started to pull down the zipper to your dress and laid that right next to your blazer. “There, happy?”
Aizawa looked you over. He was a little surprised to see you wearing modest underwear, a simple pink bra and cotton boyshorts; he expected something more lacey. That said, you still looked amazing. But he wasn’t quite done with you just yet. “Get on your knees and suck me off.”
“Are you actually like insane? Why would I do that?” you retorted.
“Because you know you have no other choice. A), again I know that you want to because everything I’m asking for is part of the fantasy you so helpfully detailed out to your friend and B), you have no other choice remember? It’s either listen to me or get expelled and we both know you don’t want that sweetheart,” Aizawa said with a mischievous smile. “My dick isn’t gonna suck itself, so...get to it.”
You hated to admit it, but he was right on both accords. The main reason you made a ruckus in his class was to get his attention. What you would’nt give to fuck him. After all, he was the hottest professor here on campus and you always did have a thing for academics. Besides this right here was your fantasy. But you couldn’t let him know that, hence this feisty front. You lowered yourself down to the ground and Aizawa grinned at you.
“That’s a good girl,” he says, unbuckling his pants and throwing his belt to the side. You looked up at him one last time before running the tip of your tongue from the base of his shaft to the tip, leaving a small and gentle kiss right near his slit. After a few more experimental licks to his dick, you dove in only being able to go a couple inches deep.
Aizawa’s dick wasn’t long, which you honestly preferred, what it lacked in length, it made up in width. You bobbed you head up and down, spit dribbling down your the corner of your mouth the further and further you went. You were so preoccupied with making sure you didn’t choke that you didn’t even notice Aizawa’s hand making its way to your hair until you felt him yanking your head back and start throat fucking you roughly.
You immediately put your hands on his thighs, trying to steady yourself against the relentless pace he set. You start choking as he goes deeper, pushing all 6 inches of his cock down your throat. He only stops and pulls out, just as he’s about to cum. He puts his finger under your chin, propping your face up. “Close your eyes for me pretty girl.” You had a moment after closing your eyes until he came all over your face, cum dripping off your chin.
“God, you look so pretty like that, baby. Gotta do that more often huh?” Aizawa says, grabbing your shoulder to pull you up. He takes your wrist in his hand, guiding towards his office, where hands you a tissue. “Here, for your face.” You wordlessly take the tissue, thinking that was the end of it all, but you don’t see Aizawa going back for his belt. Maybe he just needed to air himself or something, you thought to yourself, while walking over to the trashcan to dispose of the tissue.
“Good, I didn’t even have to ask you to throw it. If only you could be this obedient in class, hmm? Now put your hands on my desk and bend over,” Aizawa says, pushing some papers aside.
“What the fuck? I thought all you wanted me to do is suck you off!” you exclaim.
“Oh sweetheart, I never said that. Can’t go making assumptions can we? Now hands on the table, be good for me.”
You start shuffling towards the table, and Aizawa simply has no patience for it. He grabs you and pushes you towards the desk. You barely have time to collect yourself before you feel him rip your panties, leaving your core exposed to the cold air of the room. “Look at that pretty cunt of yours baby. All dripping f’me huh?”
You felt like you were being examined with the way he was looking at you, but it couldn’t distract you from your ripped panties lying in a heap beside you. “Those were my favorite panties you know! They cost a lot, you can’t just rip them to shreds!” you complain.
“Who gives a shit, I’ll buy you new ones later, after all, you’ll be seeing a lot of me now, won’t you?” You don’t even have the time to think about what he said before you feel two cold wet fingers near your entrance. You moan out as his fingertips barely graze your clit and he takes that as notice to start rubbing it slowly.
“Fuck, sir, that feels so fucking good~,” you mewl out as he goes faster, driving you closer to your climax.
“That’s right baby, call me sir. God this is so much fucking hotter than I ever imagined,” Aizawa said moving his fingers away from your clit. You whine out in response, missing the sensation already, but its quickly replaced with his two fingers plunging deep inside you.
He curved his fingers trying to hit the one spot he was looking for and when he heard you cry out, he knew he found it. He continued to pound his fingers, making sure not to miss that spot of yours each time. “Fuck, I’m gonna cum sir!” you moaned. Just as you finished saying that and felt that familiar build up of pleasure, you felt his fingers leave your cunt. You look back, as to ask why he stopped, making him chuckle.
“Aww sweetheart, you didn’t think that I’d just let you cum on my fingers did you?” Aizawa says. He leans over just far enough so that his palm is near your face before saying, “Spit.”
You look up questionably, then spit in his hand, which brings back to his cock, pumping it slowly in his fist. A short moment later, you hear the snap of something rubber and a slight prodding at your entrance. Aizawa slowly pushes his cock into you and waits for a moment, allowing you to get comfortable with the sensation. “Y-you can move now sir.”
“Shit, that’s cute how you think I need permission,” he replies before starting to pump into you faster, building into what felt like an inhuman pace. The sounds coming from you now were purely pornographic, beyond Aizawa’s wildest fantasies.“Fuck baby, you’re so fucking tight. Should’ve fucked you ages ago.” You couldn’t even reply; you were absolutely overwhelmed in pleasure. All you do is hum in agreeance and continue to keep moaning out. It doesn’t take long for you to feel that same build-up of pleasure that you felt before.
“I’m gonna cum sir, please let me cum for you,” you whine, hoping he’d provide you with some sort of release.
“Not yet, you only cum when I cum, got it?” he said, pushing your head into the desk and he starting pumping his cock faster, this time with a bit less rhythm. You could tell it wouldn’t be too long; all you had to do was be patient.
It took a few more sloppy strokes, but finally Aizawa growled out “I’m gonna cum soon baby. Cum all over my cock for me. Be a good girl,” punctuating each word by slamming his cock against your g-spot. His hand traveled up to your clit, rubbing it while he continued to fuck you.
“I’m gonna come sir, I’m so close~” you moan out, a slur of words as you reach closer and closer to your peak.
“C-cum for me baby,” Aizawa groans out. “Fuck, I-I’m gonna cum too.”
He slams his cock into you a couple more times before cumming deep inside of you. He lays against you, sandwiching you between him and the desk for a moment or two before he slowly pulls himself out and throws the condom away. You slip from the desk, knees buckling as you fall to floor in exhaustion. Aizawa shuffles off to the living room and returns, your clothes in hand. He throws them near you and he buckles up his pants back up.
“Put on your clothes and get the fuck out. If you think I’m gonna cuddle you, you’re surely mistaken. But first give me your number,” he says handing you his phone.
“Why would I give you my number?” you ask incredously.
“Because sweetheart, you’re gonna on be on-call for me for the next two months. You’re too good to give up after just one time, so we’re gonna make this a thing. Whenever I need you, I’ll give you a text, sound good?” he replies as if you asked about something common sense.
“What?! One time was more than enough!”
“Oh please, don’t lie, I know you want more of this dick,” he chuckles. He wasn’t wrong, his dick was pretty irreplaceable.
“Fine. Just as long as you don’t tell the dean about what I did.” you say, punching your number into his phone and handing it back to him.
“Scout’s honor, I won’t tell a soul. Just as long as you keep up this arrangement,” he replies, pocketing his phone. You put your clothes back on and Aizawa leads you to the door. After you leave, he heads back to his bedroom. Although he’d never admit it to you in the moment, he was pretty exhausted after all the fun and decided to head to bed. It didn’t take him long to drift to sleep, dreaming of all the things he could do to you in the future.
"Scout's honor, I won't tell a soul. Just as long as you keep up this arrangement." He pockets his phone and leads you to the door, where you promptly leave. Once gone, he heads back to his bedroom, fatigue taking over him after the fun you both just had. Soon enough, he drifts into a deep slumber, dreaming of all the things he could do to you in the future. But not before texting you to come to his office after office hours to see him again.

Let's Play Some Demos! - Part 21
Tuesday, February 25, 2025
Welcome to Part 21 of the Let's Play Some Demos! | LPSD series! For those who are new, I aim to introduce gamers to, usually, Indie games and to provide commentary and feedback for educational purposes! In addition, with how saturated Steam is, let's get these indie games some attention, shall we? For this episode, I used some of the demos I had grabbed from the Myths & Legends Steam Event! RULES! Typically, there are 4 demos. Each demo gets 30 minutes, not including the adjustment of settings and character creation. I might up it to 5 and/or play a great game for longer if there are technical issues. And NO AI's spit, aka. plagiarism laundering.
Today, I played 4 demos for your enjoyment:
Constance - Planned Release Date: Q4 2025 Constance is a 2D hand-drawn action adventure featuring a paintbrush-wielding artist, striving to escape from a colorful but decaying inner-world, created by her declining mental health.
Dragoon Ascension - Early Access Game Dragoon Ascension is a Party-Based RPG that strikes a balance between adventure and combat. Defeat enemies and witness the rise of the kingdom of Windfall. Find tomes that the Ancients left behind to learn their secrets. Become the ultimate weapon.
Kara Fantasy - Available: Coming soon Embark on an epic journey through five mystical forest worlds to save Princess Kara and show the world that the true hero lives in each of us!
Welcome to Elderfield - Available: Coming soon Welcome to Elderfield is a spooky farming RPG. You can farm, fish, mine, cook, craft, befriend townsfolk, beseech the old gods, investigate mysteries, watch unsettling news programs, get lost in the dead mall, die in your sleep and more. There's lots to do in Elderfield!
The links above are to the games' Steam pages. Also, Welcome to Elderfield's demo is available on itch.io!
With all that out the way, here are my opinions, via the "Layered Compliment Sandwich":
Constance had me freakin' out in a good way! Until it pissed me off due to user error. We'll get to that. The dash mechanic had me phasing through spiky plants! Whoever thought of that should get a raise! The color palette was great! The art style was amazing! And the whole thing gave me Hollow Knight vibes! Which I said multiple times in the video, but, ya know what, worth mentioning again to those who have never played it. It's a great comparison to make, AND I'm not going to be making it again here. It did that enough in the video. I love this game, but I have the same issue with it that I do with others; puzzles. Also, while playing, they didn't make the direction of a particular attack clear. I also had issues with the controls, but, again, user error. I needed to do an attack, but I kept dashing. Oops. I WANTED to keep playing, but I suck at puzzles... and with attacks that have to do with timing... and the timer was running out... Go play it, cuz I can't. On stream, cuz I will feel like an idiot the entire time.
Dragoon Ascension was either Available when I looked at it, then the developers switched it from Available to Early Access or I forgot to mark it as Early Access. 1-800-MYY-BAAD either way. Moving on, PIXEL ART! And it was very well done! Also, because I didn't pay attention to when I could Save, I fucked up. I died, and had to start over, because I didn't save. Also, when we could Save should have been more obvious. Also, why couldn't I flee from the second fight with the bandits? And why wasn't there a warning before the first fight, before entering the area, that it would be difficult? Dragon Age: Inquisition has warnings on the map, which I thought was convenient. And why does the dialogue take so damn long to pop up? And why can't we skip it? Back to good things, the combat was incredibly unique! Having a timer before being able to attack was definitely engaging! I wanna play with it more! And, it will probably get a "Let's see if we can finish the demo!" stream series! Kara Fantasy is a great-looking pixel art game! And the first thought that came to my mind as I started going through levels was Hades! Pixel art Hades! It also had me asking a lot of questions. So, we're Princess Kara's bodyguard. Cool. Why did someone have to give me a sword? Why do we have to find armor and whatnot as we progress through the game? Why don't we have armor already? Why didn't we have health potions right off the back? Why don't we have a bunch of money right off the bat? Why is the Princess living in a house on a farm and not a castle? Is she in exile and that's why our equipment, and there for our ability to protect her, is shit? Now, despite all these questions, I wanna keep playing the game. The combat was fun, and the crafting looked like it was going to be. Being able to get yourself back to town whenever you feel like was cool, but it would be nice to receive a warning advising all progress was going to be lost doing so. And, it will probably get a "Let's see if we can finish the demo!" stream series! Welcome to Elderfield was as excellent as I expected it to be and was my favorite of the bunch!  I want it! I want it! While I tend to lose my mind when it comes to pixel art, the art for the NPCs when there was a conversation was a CLOSE second. Whoever came up with the design for the rat that attacked me is both a piece of shit and needs a raise. The combat was annoying as fuck because HOW was a rat doing more damage than me? How? Good thing I made food. Another gripe, while I'm already griping, though it's a small one, why is the enemy health bar in the bottom left corner? Inconspicuous? Again, minor thing. I remark on it being there when I FINALLY killed it. That shouldn't have taken as long as it did. I DO love the fact, that after I went into the sewers, I was warned I wasn't prepared for a fight. Thank you! Also, this game made me want to explore and talk to people. Not necessarily investigate, cuz I've watched horror movies, but I do want to look around for resources since food is, apparently, important. Stardew Valley has competition! And, it will probably get a "Let's see if we can finish the demo!" stream series!
Overall, despite some of my gripes, I want all of them, and they are on my wishlist. As a reminder, Constance will be available in Q4 2025, whatever that means, Dragoon Ascension is available as an Early Access Game, and Kara Fantasy and Welcome to Elderfield are Coming Soon, without a date.
And that's it for the Part 21 mini-review! Thank you for reading! If this series of videos is something you're interested in, they're available on YouTube, The Titans' Discord, Steam, Rumble, Odysee, Ko-fi, and on multiple blogging platforms! Don't forget to hit the Subscribe and/or Follow buttons to know when there's more!

“Okay Sandy,” they thought. “Wave’s almost ready to be caught”.
Sandy pushed themselves up onto their surfboard, their mind dead-set on a goal. Faintly, they could hear the others give some commentary;
“They’re getting ready to stand..”
“The wave is forming!”
“I believe in you, Sandy!”
Finally standing up on their surfboard, Sandy glared confidently at the wave.
The surging carried them upward….for all of two seconds, as it didn’t take long for Sandy to lose their balance.
Sandy tried reaching out for their surfboard as it quickly slipped away from their feet, only to be consumed by the waves crashing around them.
Tumbling through the water, Sandy’s feet dragged across the bottom of the pool as they tried to push themselves to the surface. Fortunately, the current was pushing them closer to the shallow end of the pool.
Sandy ducked under the diminishing wave, placing their feet firmly on the ground.
“Go!”
Like a dolphin, Sandy shot out of the water, taking a well-needed gasp of air. They crashed back down to the surface back-first, kicking their feet to propel themselves forward.
“There they are!”
“I’ll get Sandy’s board”.
“Yeah, they’re not gonna give up after one failed attempt!”
With the wave-controlling program close to resetting, the water had grown calm— and so did Sandy, who let it guide them to the entrance.
Slowly but surely, Sandy had come to a stop, lying there as the water receded.
Most people would get up at that point, but Sandy was content to remain there.
The tide is rolling in.
It only reaches up to my feet, at first.
But with every wave, it gets closer.
The water is cold, but not frigid.
It’s…Refreshing.
Slowly, the water begins to surround me.
It gets to the point where my head is just above the water.
The next wave is approaching.
It’ll definitely pull me underwater if I don’t get up.
But I’m still lying there.
Sandy closed their eyes, smiling as water washed over their face.
Bliss.
After a few seconds, Sandy sat up; “Woooo! I might’ve wiped out, but I had a ton of fun with it!”
Slime Streak quickly joined them in the pool, boogie-board in her hand; “You still were awesome!”
“I know, right?”
Shredder approached them, holding Sandy’s surfboard. “Ready for round two?”
“Of course!”
“Just make sure you have your board leash tightened this time, okay?”, Timmy reminded.
“Oh yeah…probably makes it easier to recover, heh!” Sandy grabbed the leash, tightening it around their ankle.
Sandy and Slime Streak excitedly dashed into the water, Shellraiser watching from a distance as he relaxed on a chair, tanning” in the sunbeam.
“Ah…”, he mused. “Nothing can spoil this day!”
“…She wishes she could take them out of the water, so she could cuddle and sleep with them…”
Displayed on screen was “Sue Nahmee”, the main antagonist of “Saving Bikini Bottom”, the newest SpongeBob film. During this scene, viewers were offered a look into Sue’s childhood— except her adult head was slapped onto a child’s body in (probably) the worst chroma-key job in the history of cinema.
Not a single member of the group wasn’t completely dumbfounded by what they were witnessing.
“I can’t believe this was approved to air…”, Shellraiser muttered.
“I can believe it. You think those execs care about making a quality product! Nah, they just want people’s money…or in this case, their parent’s money”, Timmy countered.
“I’m surprised they left the robot horse behind. Y’know…the cute animal sidekick that they want kids to cling on to and beg their parents to buy the marketable plushie of”, Shredder added.
Sandy was furiously typing on her phone, Slime Streak drowning her “sorrows” with popcorn.
“I had to pause the movie and walk out of the room when this scene came on. Then I went to ITSUGAR, got myself some candy, and came back to my room. The candy wasn’t really necessary, I just needed something good to counteract the badness that was this movie”, she said in-between handfuls.
“Well, it’s a good thing I’ve completely cut her from my revision of the movie…and every other human, honestly. I actually think the Rattlesnake gang from earlier would make for a good antagonist— though the real conflict will be whether Sandy should stay in Texas or return to Bikini Bottom”, Sandy stated.
“Woah, that already sounds like a way better story!”
“Yep! It makes a world of difference when you have a writer who cares about the thing you’re making…and no execs to bow down to!”
Lights flashed around as a disco ball sparkled above their heads. Located in a nearby town, Shredder and Timmy had decided that their date-slash-“girl’s night out” should be at a Karaoke bar.
With a recently-updated machine and complimentary room service at hand, the pair were enjoying a wonderful night out with fellow Jerseyans Nitro, Medusa, Harley Quinn, and Green Lantern.
Of course, their song choice— or more accurately, album choice, was obvious.
♪Red Wine Supernova, fall right into me!♪
While some of the album’s setlist had been sung by the entire group, Timmy and Shredder wanted to keep this track for themselves. The song wasn’t a duet piece— but that didn’t matter to them.
Timmy started the second verse; ♪I like!♪
♪I like!♪, Shredder sang in response.
♪What you like!♪
♪What you like!♪
♪Long hair,♪
♪Thick curls!♪, Shredder putting her own spin on the lyrics.
♪That’s my type!♪
♪That’s right!♪
♪You just told me…♪
Shredder pulled Timmy in closer.
♪…”Want me to ride you?”♪
An “Ooh~!” erupted from the others, catching on to Shredder’s double entendre.
Timmy pulled Shredder in even closer, their foreheads touching.
♪Baby I will, ‘cause I really want to!♪
They would sing the last of the verse together, continuing their simultaneous duet to the end of the song.
Though their throats would be unquestionably sore the next day, the memories that Timmy and Shredder made that night was worth the pain.
“HALT!”
Lil’ Devil turned around, a plastic crown firmly clamped in-between his teeth.
“As the thief responsible for stealing the queen’s crown, you must be vanquished! Surrender now, or die by my blade!”, Joust declared.
Lil’ Devil wordlessly looked him up-and-down…and began to run right towards him.
Joust prepared himself, pointing his lance at the “devil-child”.
“You won’t get away with this!”
Lil’ Devil suddenly reared left, swiping at Joust with his tail.
“AUGH!” Joust fell to the floor in dramatic fashion. Even if he wasn’t actually hurt, he had to sell it like he was.
“Kozmo!”
The chipmunk-girl rushed onto the scene, complete with her own story-appropriate costume.
“Oh no, you’re wounded!”
“He got me where I least expected it! Quickly, look into your mage-tome for healing spells!”
Kozmo flipped through the pages of her tome— in reality, her wilderness book— until she found a page about treating an open wound.
Kozmo showed Joust the page; “Here! Spell of Gauze-ian Wrapped”.
“Perfect! Now, do your magic!”
Just as Kozmo was about to recite the incantation, her book was suddenly ripped from her fingers!
“No”!, she cried out.
Lil’ Devil scampered off, now with two valuable items in tow.
“Without my mage’s tome, I can’t perform any spells!”
“…and I am too weak to fight!”, Joust added.
“WHO CAN STOP THAT MENACE?”, the both of them yelled.
Lil Devil looked, back smiling “evilly”…and was completely unaware of the green puddle that appeared right in front of him. As soon as he stepped in it, Lil’ Devil was stuck in place.
Dropping the book and crown, Lil’ Devil began pulling at his leg, hoping to free himself from the trap. Suddenly, the puddle began to move— and a humanoid figure emerged!
“Sorry bud, your reign of terror is up!”
Slime Streak threw the book and crown away from Lil’ Devil, who fruitlessly tried to go after it.
“It’s an eternity of chores for you!”.
Lil’ Devil sighed sadly, crossing his arms as he was pulled back to the “castle”— really, the birthday pavilion.
Kozmo spotted the valuables flying towards her and Joust; “My book, and the crown!” She reached out as far as she could, catching her “tome” in her arms.
The crown…would land right on the concrete, splitting in two.
“I was hoping to catch both of them. W-we can fix it, right?”
The crown— now covered in sparkly duck tape— rested on the head of it’s rightful owner.
“Oh Sandy, Queen of the Atoll Kingdom, we have succeeded in retrieving your crown! While I graciously put my health on the line when facing the devil-child, Kozmo’s intellect and magical prowess was the reason why I was able to find him!”
Slime Streak walked over to Joust and Kozmo, standing proudly.
“Of course, we wouldn’t have been able to subdue LDC and retrieve our stolen items without Nicky’s help. though I was put off by their slimy green skin, I learned that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover”.
“Oh, what wondrous news; With the evil vanquished, my kingdom is peaceful once more!”
Sandy stood up from their “throne”, retrieving a plastic chest they had hidden behind it.
“I must reward you handsomely— here!”
They opened the chest, revealing what goods lay within.
“Take as many SpongeBob fruit snacks as you want!”
Within seconds, the chest had been emptied. As the trio began reaping their reward, Lil’ Devil shuffled over, sitting next to Slime Streak with his own stash of SpongeBob fruit snacks.
Sandy sighed happily.
“I’m so glad we’re friends”.
Shellraiser bowed upon seeing his sibling in-person for the first time in years.
“I am always honored to be in your presence”.
“And I am honored to have been given the opportunity to see you standing before me”, Takabisha responded.
“I understand there was something you wanted to show me”.
“Yes. Though I have many fun events planned…”
Do-Dodonpa’s loop stood tall, awaiting its final resting place.
“…we must take the time to honor those who have left us”.
Situated near Eejanaika was a mural of Fuji-Q’s coaster lineup, past and present. In front of Do-Dodonpa’s was the lead car of its blue train.
Shellraiser took a sponge from the bucket, cleaning off the outer shell; it would shine in the sun once he was done.
Takabisha placed a bundle of incense next to the wheel assembly, wafting a strawberry scent into the surrounding area. A bouquet of white chrysanthemums was laid on one of the front seats.
Shellraiser scooped water into his ladle, gently pouring it over the front of the car.
Takabisha and Shellraiser crouched down, holding their hands up in prayer.
“May Do-Dodonpa’s kindness be honored by those who remember, and may the coaster who settles upon their land carry on their legacy…”
Festive music echoed through the halls of the American Dream Mall, as no time was wasted in transforming it into the holiday shopping destination. Trees were abundant, lights twinkled above every storefront, and Santa was getting ready to open his ears to those who desired to let him know what they wanted under the tree this year.
For the resident Coasterdroids of Nickelodeon Universe, things were no different.
Shredder climbed up the ladder, mistletoe in hand. She had done this every year since the park had opened— but she now had someone who was willing to honor the tradition that it represented.
Just as she was about to hang the mistletoe up…she felt something brush against her cheek.
Timmy had made her way up the ladder, planting a kiss on Shredder— who just so happened to be holding the mistletoe above their heads.
They giggled, Shredder returning the favor with a quick kiss on Timmy’s forehead.
Shellraiser had spent all afternoon setting up and decorating the tree. Though he had a couple of ornaments he liked (and some he was…less fond of, like the mooning Santa that Timmy had purchased as a gag gift two Christmas-es ago), there was one ornament that stood above the rest— literally, as he had left a space just below their tree topper, which was a homemade clay model of Patrick Star.
It was a small frame, containing a group photo and a personalized message;
“Our first Christmas together”.
“…a ukulele songbook, a sandwich press, a new purse, a cat—or dog, one of those big bubble wands, a conveyor belt sushi place to open at this mall…Oh! And I want a new coaster here, maybe something small like a Zamperla mini mouse or SBF spinner so I’m not the “baby” anymore…”
“Woah, slow down!” Sandy advised. “Santa’s gotta give presents to other kids too, you know”.
“Yeah, you’re right. I still hope we get a new coaster here eventually”.
“I’d welcome it!”
“Hey, Sandy…what do you want for Christmas this year?”
Sandy pondered for a moment.
“I…actually haven’t thought about it”.
“Woah, really? You’ve always wanted things for Christmas, Sandy! A lot of things!
“Yeah, I have— mostly Spongebob merch, of course. But…when I was stuck in that void, all alone…I wanted nothing more than to be someone else”.
“Oh…that’s not good”.
“It wasn’t, even if I thought it was at the time”.
“But you aren’t thinking like that anymore, right?”
Sandy shook their head; “No”.
“‘Cuz I like that you’re Sandy, and so do you!”
Sandy smiles.
“Yep. And after all the things I’ve been through…I think I already have everything I want”.

since tfsd is on streaming services and i get to replay the movie whenever i like, i decided to compile some moments which i either missed or didn't realise when watching it in the cinema, and record some moments i remembered again when rewatching. i might expand this list whenever i rewatch lol
miyagi touches souta's wristband / his wrist when he's anxious. it's a habit his mom also has (miyagi's elementary school game). but ayako gave him a new gesture when things get tough (stare at his palm). she wrote down "number one guard" on his palm to make him remember the new habit. it's a symbol that makes him move from the past (remembering his brother / inheritance from his mom) to the future (the goal of number one guard). at the end of the movie, miyagi stares at his palm, which shows that he's moved forward...!
when miyagi manages to break through fukatsu for the first time, sakuragi got so mad kawata cut off his shot that he started steaming
in his flashback against egawa, miyagi kept wanting to be put in the game, but didn't motivate his team from the bench. anzai sensei might have taken that into account...? also kogure comforts akagi after they lost... so cute...
when akagi passes out, his senpai asks him "how does it feel to look down on us", but when akagi opens his eyes, he's looking up at teammates that stare at him from above. it may have seemed condescending to senpai and the other members who weren't as serious as akagi about basketball, but in truth, akagi had never looked down on senpai. he was only looking beyond. and beyond him were the teammates he's always dreamed of. (his voice actor's commentary of this scene is also really beautiful!)
miyagi's hand trembled in his pocket when he faced mitsui
when mitsui and miyagi fight, miyagi's basketball shoes fly into the shadow away from the light. when miyagi opens the box to take out his shoes (after his suspension?), he pulls the shoes into the light
throughout the movie, the ocean is gloomy/rainy in miyagi's eyes. but when he crashes his motorbike, the ocean in the distance in his memory is bright. it is gloomy when miyagi goes to the hideout, but he when allows himself to cry, the sun shines on his face. when he picks himself up and starts to turn his life around, the weather has cleared. the sun is bright on the distant ocean when miyagi leaves for hiroshima, and when he finally expresses his true feelings to his mother, the ocean is bright and sunny
on the contrary, miyagi's mother always sits by a bright ocean. at the end of the movie, miyagi finally gets to be at the same place as his mom (i also love shugo's commentary of this scene!)
when mitsui sees anzai-sensei on a run, he hides in the dark, and watches anzai-sensei run into the light
after rukawa steals sakuragi's layup, sawakita checks his shoes for what i assume is sweat. also the voice acting direction for his line "if they get us, we can just pay them back! with three times over. please pass it to me, fukatsu-san" is sooooo good i really wish there could be a cast/director's commentary about that scene...!
sawakita says "yoi-don!" before making a dash. this was written in the movie artbook but i didn't catch this when i watched (and re-watched) it in the cinema lol
also im pretty sure i noticed this in the cinema but i remembered again when rewatching.. sawakita's inside voice is deeper and closer to the usual takep voice lol. i wonder if that was a deliberate decision on the director's part?? did he want a mature sounding person in sawakita's head, and a youthful sounding person on the outside...? im so curious!
when sakuragi refuses to pass to rukawa and passes to miyagi, he makes an angry sound when miyagi eventually passes to rukawa (its brief and in passing - i love it when the comedic moments come and go quickly, because we're experiencing it as a real basketball game!)
kawata and rukawa are the first to notice sakuragi's injury
anna has to be the communicator between miyagi and his mother on miyagi's birthday... their relationship really was rough...
kiyota has his mouth open when sakuragi collapsed lol. this was pointed out by a korean fan when the movie was still airing and i can finally confirm it now that i can pause the movie lol. how do these people notice these things so easily...
mitsui adjusts his knee brace when felled by matsumoto (in the art book, he kisses his knee!). miyagi asks if he's okay and chest bumps him causing mitsui to stumble
this was mentioned by kawata's voice actor during a twitter space - apparently fukatsu's voice actor adlibbed his speech to the others after mitsui's 3+1 move. (fukatsu's va also confirmed this during court side, but he cant remember what he said lol). doumoto speaks over it so it can barely be heard, i tried to catch what he said, but i couldn't...! one day i'll catch it and write it down...!
some little blink and you miss it expressions that i really love: when miyagi tries to pass to rukawa, sawakita gives an arrogant shake of his head as if to say "don't even think about it!". when sannoh make a dash for it, sawakita confidently waves off kawata and fukatsu - "let me handle them!" doumoto watches rukawa intently when he's beaten again and again by sawakita~ and at the final attack, akagi tries to pass to miyagi, but miyagi shakes his head as he's being blocked immensely by the sannoh members~
previously i used to think doumoto didn't take the break because he underestimated sakuragi. but now i also think that he might not have wanted to give sakuragi the opportunity to rest/recover for even a second longer
when miyagi gives souta's wristband to his mother, the two of them look at the ocean as if souta has returned. the scene also reminded me a little of liz and the bluebird when mizore returns the book to the library, and when nozomi and mizore leave the school gate (they are set free from the cage!). i love imagery like this!
mikio is so cute i've always thought this but mikio really is so so so cute...
when sawakita cries, he bows before sannoh. they surround him but they didn't comfort him. it's almost as if they can't touch him. i always wonder if it was meant to be framed as if he is making a prayer and they are the deities that sawakita was praying to for guidance... if i can get my hands on a cast or staff commentary somehow...
also kawata and fukatsu weren't even there when sawakita broke down lmao they dgaf!
when interviewed by the japanese interviewer, i heard sawakita say "i too play point guard" so that implies miyagi was also interviewed...? unless it means he also plays point guard alongside other positions...
sawakita plays for east thornton cougars, but all the adverts in the basketball gym contain the word "west" in them
the netflix subs translate gori to "goliath" which is understandable but also funny. they also translate fukatsu's "pyon" to "mon" which i think was the translation used during the movie screening in japan with english subtitles (?)

"The Cyclist." From Surah 34, Saba, "The East Wind."
Tumblr media
Let us not forget the East Wind was the one God used to "rustle the leaves" in the minds of the advancing Israelites as they left Egypt. It had the opposite effect on their oppressors:
From Beshalach:
21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
23 The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
24 And in the morning watch the Lord in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptian forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic,
25 clogging[c] their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from before Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.”
Hebrew scriptures, even if rendered in English must be re-translated using the Gematria, the Angelic Math.
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 21: Moses stretched forth his hand. The Number is 9769, טז‎ו‎ט, tezvt, "the design."
v. 22: And the people of Israel went into the sea. The Number is 7033, ןילג wileg, ‎ ‎"foolish wild calf."
v. 23: The Egyptians pursued them. The Number is 5318, הגיח‎. hagich, "they dashed, attacked suddenly, were gushed, and then burst out."
v. 24: In the morning, the Pillar and the Cloud looked down. The Number is 7240, ז‎בם, zbam, "their color."
v. 25: They drove heavily. The Number is 8387, חגחז‎. hagachaz, "they realized they wanted to be free too."
This first ever truly viable translation of the Torah reveals the combination of the East Wind and the Red Sea caused even Pharaoh's soldiers to realize they were enslaved and then they worked as hard as the Israelites to achieve Shabbat.
Bear this in mind as we continue to read the Quran. As Saba contains famous references to the exploits of King David and his conquest of the ancient world:
34: 10-11:
"Indeed, We granted David a ˹great˺ privilege from Us, ˹commanding:˺ “O mountains! Echo his hymns! And the birds as well.” We made iron mouldable for him,
instructing: “Make full-length armour, ˹perfectly˺ balancing the links. And work righteousness ˹O family of David!˺. Indeed, I am All-Seeing of what you do.”
Commentary:
Muhammad used the word "instructing" above meaning these two ayat are Torahs. Within he calls Muslims members of the Kingdom of David and important honor:
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 10: The Number is 8055, ףנה, ephna, "turned the fashion like a cyclist."
v. 11: The Number is 7897, זחטז‎‎, zahtaz, "remember and seize the meaning of history."
The common use of wheel-like symbols above cannot be denied. God and His Host are trying to teach us what we do not know.
The interior message of both references from the Torah and the Quran are telling us to turn the tide no matter how faint or remote the possibility it might change history. Things always seem to go back to the way they started, but our ancestors, the Jews and Arabs alike and our shared God, Allah, insist we try to live better than they.
Clearly the Quran Torah states the Middle East Peace Plan involves dissolving all interests with the Kingdom of Israel where they will be protected. A single state solution in Israel is the only way God thinks the rights of individuals and all paths forward will be respected. Muhammad said this is what we must do and it must be done.

Not sure If I already reblogged this once, but I have this exact topic on the brain and I was trying to find a specific post but found this instead and I wanted to add what I have been thinking about.
Also this great post by @vegasandhishedgehog
In specific regarding this part of OP's Post:
it's almost like the show was leading us to ignore or explain them away, just like many of the characters do before they're forced to confront homophobia in episode 12.
Here me out. This show was intented to be popular among younger viewers and it was (post by @kongthapatom)
I think what this show was doing was playing with the use of the bubble. Like OP outlined above all of the little details the show was putting there from the start were explained away, and you the viewer were intentionally led away from it.
Much like Tinn's Mom leading concern is what if this hurts my kid, a lot of parents and adults think that shielding kids away from the bad things will keep them safe.
But it doesn't. Even while unspoken, the tension is there from the start. Like OP said, Tinn can't speak about his crush with his parents (for more then just his crush is guy, but it is a factor), He has reasons to worried about what having a crush on a guy means (Asking "are you ok with that" like OP says).
I will also add (and this could me not remembering the show right so correct me if I am wrong) the music video being a bl is also explained in universe as a way to stand from the crowd and bls are really popular nowdays, almost like a justification. This could be a mini commentary how queer people are drawn to queer media and also on the commoddification of bls (which is both a good thing = more queer media and a bad thing = companies are making money off queer people).
When the bubble does pop and homophobia is introduced in this show it is after the biggest foreshadowing the show does with the movie. With the thing they are shooting and Tiw and Gun conversation about how we have to wait for dinosaur to die.
And it also feels like all of this works in universe. As much the adults wanted Tinn and Gun and the others to stay safe and in the bubble the world doesn't work like that. The characters bubble bursts at the same time as it does for the audience. Allowing the audience to experience homophobia in a safe fictional enviroment, much like you would do with horror and other traumatic things in media.
And then the show says it's wrong, the teacher gets kicked out, Tinn and Gun don't break up because it's better that way, Tinn Mom comes to Tinn rescue and she reaffirms her love for him and stands by him.
The bubble bursts but it's not at all like falling into nothing but it's like flying gently down onto a pillow.
It is 100% intentional.
I have been thinking about this because of three recent shows that were in what I would like to call an almost bubble.
These two posts by @bengiyo (x) and @twig-tea (x) go a bit on more in depth into the problem with what I am calling almost bubble specifically after the latest entry My Love Mix Up Th episode.
The shows I mean are these:
We Are The Series - In the bubble but hints at deeper things and motivations and intentionally never breaks the escapism by not going there (Side Note: this one is the most intentional of the bunch, in the sense that it conciously decided to avoid bursting the bubble to keep up the escapism and it's why it worked for some people)
23.5 - In the bubble but, has one character have internilized homophbia and then basically ends up telling that she shouldn't have worried about it.
My Love Mix Th - Which is doing something similar to 23.5 according to what I saw on the dash (full disclosure not watching this one)
---
In Conclusion My School President was intentionally giving the illusion of a bubble show to create a safe place for the audience to expirience real life homophobia and issues (teacher being homophobic, can't kiss in public for fear of outing, your friends are safe but you don't know what the rest of the school will do etc..) and then make it better. It was creating a bubble just to gently bursting it on purpose.
Which is what these other shows either weren't interest in doing or just didn't know how to do (I'm not sure what to call the 23.5 and MLMU TH ones: mistakes, intentional cruelty? Were they saying something? I rather just call them mistakes for now).
rewatching my school president with the knowledge that homophobia does in fact exist within the universe of the series is such a crazy experience because it adds an extra layer of meaning and interpretation to so many lines and moments that we often either overlooked or explained away during the first watch-through.
first off: the music club's rule about not having lovers as a kind-of-sort-of metaphor for society not being accepting of LGBTQ+ couples (i.e., main obstacle in tinn and gun's relationship)
the fact that tiwson knows about tinn's massive crush on gun before the beginning of the series (meaning tinn trusted tiw enough to tell him)
gun's stunned silence when tinn admits he's hitting on him during the pool scene and the kind of scared look on gun's face when he gets flustered after looking into tinn's eyes in episode 3
tinn pointedly asking gun "are you okay with that?" after he indirectly confesses his feelings by the pool in episode 5/6
gun saying "you can't control something like this, can you?" after tinn's previously mentioned confession of feelings at the beginning of episode 6
gun's anxiety about what it means to accept that tinn likes him and he likes tinn back (e.g., "has it ever occurred to you that there are things you want to ask, but you're too afraid to?")
the look of trepidation on sound's face after filming the medal kiss scene with win in episode 6 and realizing he has Feelings
everyone in chinzhilla being on board with filming a bl version of the 'just being friendly' music video (because they're all gay or allies lmao)
tinn interpreting gun's mention of the dating rule after his implied love confession as rejection + gun clarifying that "it doesn't mean he feels bad about it" in episode 6 (music club dating ban as a metaphor for homophobia again)
tinn and gun having to hide the fact that they are seeing each other while at the aquarium with yo and nook, who can openly date (ostensibly because of the music club dating ban, which oddly enough doesn't prevent yo from pursuing nook - there's that music club dating ban metaphor again)
gun repeatedly voicing his concern that it would be easier for tinn if he decided to hit on someone else (e.g., a girl)
tinn's out-of-control gay fantasies as a possible coping mechanism for the fact that he can't be open about his feelings with his family or anyone at school (besides tiw and gun)
yak telling sound he has to accept "what he's really into" in order to write a good love song (and sound clearly glancing at win afterwards)
gun telling tinn "be patient. when i win hot wave, everything will get better. at least with our friends" when they hide from tinn's mom outside of tinn's house at the beginning of episode 10 (music club dating ban metaphor again + hints at concern that tinn's mom may not accept their relationship)
tinn feeling comfortable enough with gun's mom to tell her about his crush on gun while keeping it a secret from his own mom
tinn's mom not knowing tinn could sing as an allusion for how she doesn't know about other aspects of tinn's true self (i.e., his sexuality) either
gun telling tinn that after hot wave, "whatever shitty rules there are" can't stop them (foreshadowing the hostile reaction they get to their relationship in episode 12)
there's probably more but these are the ones i can think of off the top of my head. many of these comments/moments could make sense in the context of a universe without homophobia (i.e., due to general shyness/anxiety about relationships, the music club's dating ban, etc.), but it's neat to interpret them through the lens of heteronormativity/homophobia too.
it's interesting to me that we as a fandom didn't really pick up on the fact that there was homophobia in the universe of the series as it was airing despite all these "signs." it's almost like the show was leading us to ignore or explain them away, just like many of the characters do before they're forced to confront homophobia in episode 12.

I feel really paranoid & weird about this but I just unsubbed from multiple commentary youtubers (jarvis johnson, chad chad, kurtis conner, danny's main channel). I just,, this started with jarvis
I followed him on twitch & decided to watch a stream live. DUDE i hated it so much. The vibes were so off, and his comments felt so basic. It doesn't help that his focus is on gold! these days, so he does twitch like its a youtube video, with multiple takes. I know its not uncommon, it's just odd.
So after that I caught on that his content is stale, never dives as deep as I like, and the main channel stuff I subbed for seems to have been abandoned.
The next thing I learned is that kurtis conner had a failed web3 project (i cannot recall the video I heard this from so sorry). That's such a red flag. Then tonight I googled about any drama and he apparently brought a,,, questionable guy named Dean on his tour.
ChadChad here is a victim by association & I've just not been into her stuff lately. I could see myself resubbing to her in the future, but,,
I truly think the codyko stuff is going to start a chain w/ these commentary youtubers. They thrive on being in the moment & politically neutral enough to attract a large audience. But if I watch someone purposefully apolitical w/ current things, they've gotta be hilarious enough to ignore that very real flaw(aka they don't mention palestine/presidents - i dont follow homophobic/transphobic, etc creators at all). Maybe its just me changing, but a lot of these videos don't hit the same humor, and uploading at the speed of tiktok would burn anyone out, so they don't upload that quickly. None of them ever go deep, and I usually know more than them if it's a trendy thing. So I can't be the only one reevaluating these people, the shitty deals they all push, the people they call friends, and questioning it.
I'm still subbed to danny's side channel and drew. For the side channel its bc i just like the vids on there more than main, and it strikes a better balance of niche random shit that feels like video twitter. Danny still has the above issues, and his main channel's best content is when he does weird ideas & commits, not reacting tbh. Drew is so dead that each video feels great lmao. No idea what's going on with him tho, hopefully he's doing okay and not doing cancelable things.
Not sure this post has a point, but I wanted to make it just in case shit starts to hit the fan. I conceded to drew&danny for now, but im ready to dash if any bombs drop in 2025 lol
